It isn't every day that you need a company who can check drains, so when we had a persistent toilet smell, coming into our bathroom, I researched companies in a 5 mile radius & settled on Environ {EPS} I wasn't disappointed. From my initial phone call, I could tell I was in professional hands. They asked all the right questions & they were clear about what would happen on the visit. Ian & Jack arrived punctually & set about solving the problem, which was a blocked pipe. They were polite, friendly, reassuring & explained each step of the treatment to me. Everyone I’ve dealt with - Emily, Frans, and Ben have been incredible throughout. Used their services for a drain survey when buying a new house- survey was organised and scheduled incredibly quickly. The report received a day later was detailed and instructive. The follow up for an engineer (Ben) to line and repair drains was equally as straight forward and work completed without fuss or mess and to a high standard. Can’t fault the service, professionalism, or quality of work. Highly recommended and a pleasure to deal with.

Showed up to do a CCTV survey with zero results for which I paid in excess of £300 (normally costs c.£150). Instead of confessing that the CCTV survey was not done, Environ sent me a report that was full of filler text specifying caveats and explanations what a CCTV survey is. Had to chase for updates and then felt compelled to contact dispute services to get at least half the money back. Lack of basic knowledge and skill. Very disappointing. Google rating of 4.8 is rather ambitious.
I rang Environ yesterday morning. A helpful person arranged on the phone for someone to come to clear my sink drain. I explained then that this pipe also served to drain my dishwasher. She charged me £180 in advance, and a nice man came yesterday afternoon. I explained to him that the dishwasher was working but was connected to the sink pipe. He cleared the pipe. However, when I tried to use my dishwasher today it wasn't working. I rang and asked for help, since I thought I'd paid for the whole pipe to be cleared. But I was asked for another advance payment for a visit next Tuesday. What is sad about all this is that I trusted both the person on the phone and the man who cleared my sink. Yet I was left with an unworkable dishwasher and no way of getting it working without another £180. I am 92. I live on a pension. I had already paid a plumber the day before to clear the sink. When she couldn't do it she recommended your firm. Well that was a mistake. I was already to recommend your firm to neighbours and had written your address and phone number in my diary. But here I am. Much poorer and with no dishwasher. Do you think that's fair treatment? Jane Miller

The swift appointment, prompt assessment and delivery of the informative drainage reports together with photographic records was exemplary. I had a really blocked drain that was overflowing into the house, the stench was outrageous but after a very in depth call with Environ they sent some one out straight away, an old sock must have blown off the line catching all the detritus in the process. Not only did they clear it all , they fixed the internal damage as well. Highly recommended

I had an issue with my rodent blocker recently, I have used Environ since 2016. The work carried by the team is always up to a very high standard and very professional. However I had an issue with the customer service team this time around. I was treated very unkindly so I raised a complaint. Terry the director of the company picked it up and handled it very well. I recently needed to get my Victorian drains relined and the drain inspection chamber replaced. The job took a lot longer than anticipated, as some specialist equipment was required. The engineers worked very hard and efficiently and I was very satisfied with the end result. The office team got into a muddle about start dates, which was a bit stressful at the time, but once the engineers were onsite they were great and my property was left in good order at the completion of the work.
V good experience with all the staff in particular Jordan and John who came to survey the drains and then did a thorough clean and some remote repairs as well as adding rodent blockers. Great guys and a great service!

The two engineers that carried out the drainage work were very professional and kept me informed on what going on with the project on each of three days they attended, explaining every aspect of job in hand. They made sure that everything was properly operational on completion and put the garden back to what it was before the work started and removed any rubbish accumulated on site. I would recommend the company to my friends if they needed this type of maintenance to be carried out.
We had longterm problems with rats in our house which neither we nor the council could solve . We also had no visible drain access which was finally located by Environ to be under our flooring . We ended up with three visits from Environ focusing on sewers / drainage as the likely cause of Rat entry . Ben came twice and Riesse once , to locate and fix our problems. We are hoping that this is the end of a long rat infestation and have nothing but praise for both Ben and Reisse for their experienced and professional approach . Ben especially went the extra mile to get the job finished on the Friday before his Christmas holiday and it is much appreciated ! Last but not least we would also like to thank Emily for her efficient , helpful and knowledgeable input in managing this job .

Professional service and high quality work by Environ. We initially asked Environ to undertake an CCTV survey of the sewer pipe to check for leaks due to evidence of water damage and a bad smell. Reisse and his team completed the survey and identified that the problem was in fact a leaking soil pipe which needed replacing. The initial work and the soil pipe replacement were completed professionally and neatly, with a clear outline, timeline and quote for the works provided. As a result of the excellent service, we have engaged Environ to undertake a programme of external works on brickwork, roof and windows. I would firmly recommend them.
I am so happy that Environ Drainage Services did the much need work on my bathroom following several years of problems. Reisse explained everything in detail in advance and updated me all the way through the work making sure I understood and was aware of every aspect of the work he was undertaking and explaining why. I called Environ Drainage Services to attend a blockage/smell at my home as a matter of emergency. Speaking to the office a very knowledgeable Emily put my mind at rest and sent out her team on the same day. Severely disappointed with the work carried out. We payed an extortionate amount of money for Environ to carry out a drain replacement. The job was not completed to a satisfactory standard and they refused to come back to correct the works without extra payment. Awful.
Appalled by the work carried out on my front wall. £11k spent on work they then told me they couldn’t guarantee and water still coming into the house from the drain. Absolutely fleeced. Shocking work & customer service.
Sophie, Emily, Lee and the entire Environ team were wonderful. Having had drainage engineer after drainage engineer come through over a period of months, I finally found Environ. Their team really paid attention and listened to everything I had to say -- unlike the many before them -- and within two visits they had found the cause of the problem! It turned out to be a rather substantial job which took place over several weeks (during a pandemic!) and throughout it all they were not only efficient, they were also patient, understanding and compassionate -- something I really appreciated at what was an incredibly stressful time for me. Basically these guys are the best. I did my research before hiring a pest control team and was convinced after speaking to Karina after she gave me great advice and understanding of the problem I was dealing with over the phone. They're pricing is great, the people they hire are excellent, they want to help, their team work hard and they are small enough to care but big enough to provide an excellent, competent and competitive service. Sophie at Environ went over and above helping me schedule in workmen, she really tried everything she could and with the team she worked with (Josh and others) they really delivered. The team are young but experienced, hard working but not rushing through a job & they care about getting your issue dealt with. The prices are fixed fees & you generally have to pay up front but considering how quick they are to schedule in it was totally fine and understandable. Rentokil's prices were 3-4 x higher when I quoted them. If you have a pest control issue, if you need a drain inspection, use these guys. You'll not regret it. I definitely recommend and I'd definitely use them again. If they sold shares I'd buy a piece of this company. They have the right work ethos and the right attitude to get jobs done!
