Proofterior - Damp Proofing & EPC Specialists

Dylan carried out all agreed work to a very high standard, kept me updated to date throughout the whole process.

Internal rising damp issue. On time, carried out the works as described and tidied up afterwords.

Really amazing service from Proofterior. Dan provided a really thorough damp investigation and provided a very helpful damp report. Very quick responses too.

What a professional team. Efficient, considerate and thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Proofterior team were great. Kept me informed, turned up on time, did the jobs that needed doing, and cleaned up afterwards. I felt very reassured that I was in good hands. A very professional and friendly service all round.

Dylan was professional from start to finish. Would definitely recommend

Absolutely stunning job. Both product and team are top notch.

Arrived on time and completed the job in a timely manner and left no mess behind. All invoicing, receipts of payment and guarantee were sent on time. Very professional.

Did not fully address all the issues. There were delays in completion and the scaffold was partly installed in neighbours garden without any notice or seeking permission leaving us with a very unhappy neighbour.

Excellent service from start to finish. The survey was thorough, professional, and carried out with great attention to detail. I was worried there might be a serious damp issue, but the surveyor took the time to explain everything clearly, reassure me, and provide honest, evidence-based advice rather than trying to sell unnecessary work. It was refreshing to deal with a company that values integrity and expertise. I came away with complete peace of mind and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a damp survey.

Prompt, knowledgeable and efficient

I am very impressed with Advanced Damp. They were professional, explained everything clearly, and fixed the problem in no time.

Great, friendly and professional service. Damp proofing completed and great tidy job done.

Proofterior treated rising damp in our Barnet home. The team removed damaged plaster, applied damp proofing, and finished with clean plasterwork. Great attention to detail—very happy with the result.

Five star service with excellent workmanship and professional results throughout.

Really happy with the service. The guys were friendly and sorted the mould quickly. Place looks and smells so much better now.

Awesome job! Came at scheduled time and have cleaned up my walls like new! Really good customer service !

Dylan was fantastic to work with. Very professional, knowledgeable, and provided top-notch service.

True professional and fair gentleman. Visited the site to inspect it for damp, completed a thorough job and left me with a number of recommendations all of which I'll be carrying out.

I've used the services of Dan's twice, at two different properties for an assessment of why the flats were showing signs of mould. In both cases he was prompt, professional, thorough and clear with his recommendations.

Very happy with the work carried out by Dan and his team. A damp course was needed in a number of areas, the work was carried out at short notice and to a high standard. Many thanks to Dan and team for a first class job.

I found the two people who came very professional, courteous and very helpful. I think they are are credit to the company and would certainly recommend them both. Thank

Kind and professional team carried out a damp survey service at the property where I live. Dan provided an impressively accurate report, supported by a substantial amount of evidence. I am very satisfied

Ashton was so friendly and informative. A really knowledgeable and genuine person who put me at ease and told me everything I needed to know. I have gone from worried to empowered and knowing exactly what to do. He is a lovely young man who you can trust to do the right thing. Call them if you have problems with your damp proofing.

Dan & his team were brilliant! They have done such a fantastic job. Being it our first property we were nervous but they put us as such as ease. Explaining exactly what they were doing & tidying up after themselves as well. Can’t thank you enough!

Initially, I gave a 1-star rating due to a stressful experience during the quoting and deposit process. However, the owner, Dan, has since personally reached out with a sincere commitment to find a resolution. As a gesture of goodwill and acknowledging his effort to fix the situation, I am updating my rating to **3 stars** for now. We are currently in the process of resolving the outstanding issues. I hope they can rebuild my confidence, and I will provide a final update once the work is completed.

We had a damp course done to the front of our property. They were super quick and great with communication

Great service from start to finish. Survey was clear and thorough. Work was also impeccable and well communicated.

Did a job for me a few weeks ago very good workmanship cleaned and tidied up after all good.

I can't give enough praise to this superb family business. They re-rendered our drive to perfection and also found a water leak in our garage which no-one else was able to find. Thanks Proofterior team.

Dylan and the Proofterior team were amazing. They booked in with us quickly and efficiently and spent a great deal of time on the property. The report that came after it was incredibly comprehensive and will help us massively with damp proofing our new home. Cant recommend them enough.

Very professional!! Price was also very reasonable! Would definitely reccomend! Thank you so much.

Great set of lads who came to do the work.

We contacted Proofterior at the beginning of January about some work we wanted doing. The workmen were clean, pleasant and efficient they came on the 25th of January and carried out the work. It took one day to complete the work and was left in a lovely clean condition and the very next day we noticed a big difference with the damp issue. Many thanks.

Dylan & the team did a fantastic job treating the damp in my living room and kitchen. They kept me updated through the whole process and always took the time to answer questions and explain the next steps. The work was completed to a high professional standard,

Excellent service, very prompt and efficient, extremely polite from start to finish. I will be using again.

I recently had a survey done by Ashton at proofterior. The whole team was super helpful and did amazing works on my property, would totally recommend them!

Quick and positive response to my initial enquiry and then I had the pleasure of Ashton visiting my home to provide a survey. Ashton was knowledgeable and very polite. 💯 recommend

Sorry to say, I have tried to get them to come out, made three appointments, one wrong and no email to confirm, so didn’t know, waited and nobody came phoned and they had wrong day. Booked another, no show again, finally had one today, they phoned to say they were running late! Having already changed my plans was not about to do it again. Have to say NOT the way to run a business, or instil any confidence in a customer, so bad for the company. UPDATE. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Although I was very angry about this, I take my hat off to Dan, it’s his business and he has tried to do everything to make me happy after I put this up. Unfortunately it happened, so I will not take it down, but as he has/is addressing these issue, he does deserve more than one star purely for contacting me and addressing it with me. Actually very good customer service, let’s hope his staff step up too, so nobody else has these problems, once you can accept, but more than that No. Thank you Dan.

Dylan was professional and friendly from quote to completion of the job Work was completed to a very good standard , areas cleaned up and all rubbish taken away Would definitely recommend

We had a damp proof course carried out a few weeks ago, and the service was amazing from start to finish. We booked in for a survey with Ashton, and the work was completed the following week by Tommy. Excellent efficiency and a great experience overall.

This was my second time using Proofterior for one of my properties. This time we had an issue with woodworm. They came out and provided a quote within a day, and the work was carried out by the end of the week. Absolutely fantastic service — I will continue to use them in the future

I called Proofterior as renovation & repairs to my house had escalated and I was in over my head trying to organise the project. Dylan was incredible - he came in, we walked through the property and discussed each thing that needed doing, from small things like a bracket on a pipe replacing to extensive damp repairs and damp proofing the entire house. He took over managing & liaising with the tradespeople, getting people to do the work in the right order and to a high standard. His crew were lovely - all cheerful, prompt, and high quality work. On the one occasion there was a small oversight, Dylan was easy to reach, responded fast and resolved fast. Would use 100% recommend and use again.

Proofterior recently came and treated our rising damp, as well as installing a PIV and masonry waterproofing. The quote was very reasonable and they were flexible to complete the work at a time that suited us. The work was done to a high standard and they were very friendly and helpful and kept us in the loop throughout. They also really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with everything, and to clear up all the mess and help us get things back to how they were before. Would definitely recommend.

The guys were able to quickly identify the issues, it was clearly explained and they were focused on resolving the issues in the most cost effective way for me instead of trying to get the most money out of me. The stress of not knowing what was causing the problems was quickly eliminated after trying a couple of other companies first. Friendly and professional business that genuinely want to help the customer.

The guys arrived on the time stated, very polite and courteous. Very clean and tidy. Told me what they were going to do, answered all my questions.

From initial contact to job completion my experience with proofterior was seamless transparent and hassle free. Dan and Dylan were very knowledgeable and the job was completed within the arranged time frame, would definitely recommend to any one who’s suffering with damp in their property!

The results speak for themselves. Not only has the visible mould been completely eradicated, but the underlying damp issues have also been resolved. From the beginning to the end communication was excellent and customer engagement was polite, friendly and professional. Never felt pressured.
