Fine Point Carpentry

Dan did a brilliant job of making & installing alcove cupboards and shelves, we are so pleased with his work! He was personable and polite and his quote was very reasonable. Thank you Dan 😊

Dan was super professional and made sure our staircase not only looked good but was sturdy and safe. We are incredibly happy with the results and would highly recommend!! Thanks Dan ☺️

Dan was very communicative upon contacting him. He gave us a reasonable quote which we accepted. Turned up early on the day, then completed the work in the time he said he would. Cleaned up after and we were happy with the end product. Would absolutely use him again.

Dan fitted some wardrobes for us this week. What a fab job he did! Very pleased and we have been able to max-out our storage space. Dan worked hard to get the job done and was meticulous. Great clean up job too - wouldn’t know he had been and done such a big job. Great guy and would highly recommend to anyone!

Dan built for us a 2 door, a 3 door and a 5 door wardrobe (the door next to the window being recessed so as to allow light into the room). He did a first rate job in fitting the wardrobes with great precision, to our particular specification. He does truly skilful work and has a great deal of knowledge. He consulted with us every step of the way to make sure that we got just want we wanted, making suggestions which improved on our initial brief. He made the whole process, from initial contact to job done, nice and easy and stress free. He is a really nice, genuine guy, who obviously takes pride in his work and nothing is too much trouble for him. We can highly recommend him. Thanks Dan for doing a terrific job, we are thrilled with the new look of our bedrooms.

We had a number a number of wardrobes fitted and a bespoke cupboard with shelving over. We were very pleased with the result. We found Dan hardworking, reliable and taking a pride in his work. We would absolutely recommend him.

Just fabulous! Dan totally understood what I wanted with fitted wardrobes in an awkward space, and made it happen with such calm and skill. They look beautiful. Good value, great communication, really creative and friendly and overall a lovely project. Thank you!

Where do I start?! Dan has been absolutely fantastic from the moment he came in to give us a quote until he fully completed our bedroom wardrobe project. We had a very awkward space and Dan gave us ideas about how to utilise it fully. He has been very flexible - especially with the interiors as it’s difficult to make the right decisions before physically seeing the wardrobe. His attention to detail and symmetric work is second to none as well (covering all the internal screws for visuals etc). We also had other traders completing other jobs in the house at the same time and he worked around/with them efficiently. We have already asked him to undertake further projects for us in our new home! No doubt we will be doing again in months and years to come. Thanks a lot Dan 👌🙏🙏

Experienced, professional, friendly and very good at his job. Dan lowered a mid cabin bed for us and rearranged it perfectly. Would highly recommend!

Dan did a fantastic job for us. Combination of fitted wardrobes with integrated drawers, a bay window seat with storage and floating shelves. His knowledge and experience is second to none, and he helped me out with a whole heap of other bits and pieces while he was on! If you can get him, don't even think about going elsewhere!

I have been lucky enough to get Dan to do all sorts of weird jobs in the very battered ex-council house I moved to a couple of years ago. Boxing in c.h. pipes which had been left exposed, fitting the kitchen, installing loads of bespoke shelves (also at my son's). The last job (29.3.21) was "only" a wooden strip to cover the fraying edges of a hessian carpet. However, owing to the difference in heights between the two surfaces, he decided to cut a step in the underside of the strip. Such craftsmanship and attention to detail - again! A rare find, I would say, and absolutely recommended!

genuinely couldn't recommend Dan enough, excellent professional finish, very reasonable and prompt quote and a really friendly and pleasant guy. Dan did an amazing job fitting bespoke cupboards and floating shelves in some alcoves in our Kitchen/Diner and made the most of an awkward under stairs space to transform our utility room. Would recommend him without hesitation.

Dan has done a superb job of fitting our wardrobes. He customised the wardrobes to our every request, i.e double hanging, mirror on internal door, drawers! They’re superb and we’re so happy with them. Also reasonably priced- couldn’t recommend Dan enough :)

Dan did a fantastic job of building storage in our attic room. He built beautifully smooth running sliding doors under the eaves as requested (despite our not so straight ceiling!) and a bespoke cupboard too. He listened to what we wanted and checked every aspect to ensure we were happy with the final product. Very knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, clean and tidy and arrived on time on the day expected. I recommend him to all, this is the craftsman you have been looking for.

I can't thank Dan and Fine Point Carpentry enough. He has transformed my bedroom with his floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes. So much space!!. Dan is a perfectionist and very informative and helpful. Prompt clean job, highly recommended. We ended up asking him to fit new internal doors too which we are thrilled with.

Dan did such a fantastic job in our lounge, building us 2 beautiful alcove cupboards, 4 floating shelves and a superb fireplace surround and mantelpiece all in solid oak. We were so impressed that we also got him to make a bespoke unit for our vinyl and turntable.. Throughout the whole process, including navigating the covid lockdown, Dan gave us great ideas and guidance but really listened to what we wanted. He turned up when he said he would. He finished on time and was very competitively and fairly priced. Dan is also just a very nice guy who you feel confident about leaving in your house. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan to any friends or family and cannot praise the quality and finish of his work highly enough.

High quality work and competitively priced. Very easy to work with and arrives and completes work in the timescales he gives. We had some wardrobes fitted, as well as bannister and under stair cupboards.

Highly recommend Daniel, he perfectly fitted my oak floor and made a fabulous under stairs store. True professional and expert carpenter

Dan did a fantastic job of fitting cupboards and shelves either side of the fireplace in the living room. He really helped with the planning at the start and his finish was excellent, would definitely recommend.

I am so happy to have been recommended to Daniel as the quality of his work is so good. Carpenters with Daniel's skills are very difficult to find. He replaced seven doors for me and not only did a great job but respects your home leaving every where clean and tidy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Fine Point Carpentry and will certainly contacting Daniel to replace my fitted wardrobes.

Dan installed fitted wardrobes and his work was of exceptional quality. Very reliable and would highly recommend to family and friends without hesitation.
