We needed urgent help installing a very long curtain rail that we couldn’t cope with. Focus Carpentry came at very short notice and was so helpful. He ended up doing all sorts of other carpentry jobs with such willingness and skill.
One of the wall cupboards in my garage had fallen apart and could not be repaired. Luke came to view the problem and was able to make a new cupboard framework, fit back the existing doors and you cannot see any difference from the original. He did an excellent job, excellent workmanship and all at a reasonable price. I have no hesitation in recommending Luke and his workmanship. He is also a very nice guy.
5 star service, Top trader , We had a very unique requirement, we wanted a media wall built accross one end of our sitting room wall. This included alcove shelves with cupboards on bothy sides and a 50inch TV, Sound bar and fire slotted in the media wall, all built with wood/MDF. Luke built it exactly as per the diagram we presented to him. (see picture attached which is not our house but what we asked him to build in our house). We are extremely happy with the outcome and it looks exactly like the picture. (when our sitting room is decorated will post the final outcome). Luke is very professional, honest and reasonable priced. Will defintely use Luke again for other projects, what we asked him to build was complex, the outcome is perfect.
Luke was very helpful in my refurb. He did various jobs including skirting boards, external repairs, wardrobe removal and more. He’s polite, calm, tidy and I’d recommend him to anyone that needs general carpentry work carried out. Thanks Luke

Focus Carpentry (Luke) are a fantastic little Gem of a tradesperson to keep in your armoury. Luke communicated well with us throughout the duration of his work and it was completed, on time and on budget (his prices were well bellow competitive quotes). Luke is a master of his trade in my opinion. He cared about the works that he did for us and was a pleasure to have around the house I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Luke and the services that he provides. Luke was incredibly responsive and communicative. He was able to fit new skirtings that matched the existing in our home. In addition to fixing a complex flooring issue in one of our rooms. Which involved patching and working around a part concrete subfloor. Very friendly, relaxed and honest about everything. I appreciated his professional opinions on solutions to the subfloor issue.

Like did some cupboard alterations for us The work initially was not properly finished off and Luke had to come back to make amends Also at his suggestion needed to have two additional hinges fitted Despite multiple attempts through messages and calls Luke failed to respond even to say he was unable to do this additional work for us.
Luke did an excellent job of fixing a new internal door and realigning another door that was not closing properly. Luke also helped fix a pillar in the porch area as well as mounting security devices in my home. We are very pleased with the quality of Luke's work, his friendliness and willingness to take on last minute requests, all at reasonable rates. We hope to use him again and would recommend him without hesitation.

After I booked Luke, he kept me informed of his availability and arrived on the day he said he would. He investigated the problems in my garden office, made sure I saw and agreed the work required, discussed the price of the materials needed, and then went about doing a fantastic job in replacing all the necessary rotten wood, leaving the place neat and tidy at the end of each day. I can't recommend his work highly enough and would use him again without hesitation.
Luke built a bespoke garden fence at the front of my house that was worthy of showing off to the neighbours. He has also completed various maintenance jobs for me and my friends, who I've recommended him to. He always does a great job and finds a way to deliver what you've requested. His pricing is fair and he doesn't try to rip you off like some tradesmen
We required an area of decking and a new shed base to be built. Luke discussed the requirements, prepared a detailed quotation, designed and then built this, and despite working in abysmal ground conditions did this with a smile, on time and to budget. He kept us well informed of progress and issues and produced an excellent finished product. He is honest, trustworthy and we will be using his services again. Highly recommended.

A level of professionalism and patience rarely displayed these days. Work was of the highest quality and executed as intended. Luke took the time to explain the process, his pricing was incredibly competitive given the quality, polite and really went above and beyond to deliver a transformation to my rear garden.
