Tad built the most fabulous shed in our garden last year, and fixed our roof. His work is of the highest quality. He was highly reliable and entirely trustworthy.

Tadas and his team have consistently delivered exceptional work on numerous projects over the past 15 years. Their meticulous attention to detail and friendly approach make them a pleasure to work with. They’re always eager to find creative solutions that fit your budget and I wholeheartedly recommend them

Tadas and his team are truly exceptional. Over the years they’ve worked on two homes for me. First, they decorated and updated my Hersham house and then undertook a comprehensive renovation of my Weybridge property. This included new bathrooms, replumbing, boiler replacement and a full interior repainting. As a woman managing these projects alone, it’s incredibly reassuring to have someone I can completely trust at home. Tadas is that person. He’s meticulous about quality, warm and approachable and genuinely cares about getting things right. He’s also brilliant at finding solutions when budgets are tight without compromising on quality. After all these years, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

I was very surprised to read the other review of Tad's Builders. Tad has recently undertaken extensive work in our house over several months. His work is always outstanding and of the highest quality. He is honest, trustworthy and reliable. It is a fact that materials have become significantly more expensive over recent years. It is an unfortunate reality that jobs sometimes reveal unexpected problems. When this happened with us a couple of times (through no fault of Tad's), he worked with us to offer solutions at reasonable prices. For example, a fire 15 years ago burnt through a lintel and those builders covered up the damage. Tad discovered it, visited several builders' yards to procure the cheapest lintel, and replaced it. We wouldn't expect him to absorb those additional costs. I can't speak for what's happened elsewhere but we got to know Tad very well as he replaced our bathrooms, refurbished all our bedrooms with built in cupboards, updated our kitchen and laid floors throughout. I would highly recommend his work and his character, and can only say there are two sides to every story. Damaging reviews with no right of reply can ruin businesses. Tad doesn't advertise on Checkatrade any more (he's so good that he mostly gets jobs through word of mouth now), but you'll find a much more balanced view of his work if you Google Tad's Builders on Checkatrade.

DO NOT USE! Left us homeless. Said he can't finish our rebuild because he doesn't have the time. Was greedy and took on too many jobs at the same time. We are now left with a house that's completely uninhabitable. He blames the delays on the architects drawings not being good enough but should have looked at the drawings and the house properly before quoting. He blames it on the increase in the price of materials. He blames it on us. He blames it on everyone else but himself. He has no conscience.
