I am at the early stages of identifying a design and construction company to carry out the renovation and remodelling work to a property. Adrian was one of many people I had spoken to about the project and to obtain quotations but Adrian was by far the complete package. Even though we had not yet agreed an initial visit, Adrian gave up his own time, almost 45mins to be exact, to walk through the ideas I had in mind and to provide me with initial breakdown of costings. This was an invaluable conversation for a first time buyer who is still trying to find their feet. I would recommend Adrian Design to all clients who want that personal touch to conversations with contractors as well assurance that their ideas and budget are a priority in achieving the end goal.

Adrian Design did a loft conversion for us. Fabulous quality - an estate agent recently commented it was the nicest he'd ever seen, which is quite a compliment. Adrian and team also helped us to refurbish our bathroom, fitting it around their other work and going to great lengths to get quality workmen on the job. Adrian Design have now done two major projects for me. Replacement of the entire house roof was done a couple of years ago. They then did a superb job - on time, on budget, and immaculate maintenance. There were (inevitably) some unexpected urgent complications, each one of was dealt with immediately, thoroughly, and although stressful very efficiently, with excellent response and results. On the strength of that, they were requested to perform a reconstruction of under-pavement vaults in a listed Grade II London Terraced house, and convert them into a utility room. Once listed building consent had been obtained, they faced a very difficult construction job, working in very confined spaces, and with the usual complications of a listed building, including a 2x2 m concrete slab in the middle, at least 50 years old. Yet again, they were meticulous, kept me and the architect fully informed, were disciplined, clean and orderly, and the quality of work was outstanding in every respect. For Adrian, and his senior work foreman, Florin, no problem was too much trouble, and solutions were found every time. Solutions found included meticulous waterproofing and heating of the area, and excellent solutions to ensure daylight from the lightwell. Despite the usual construction headaches with an old / listed building, they finished (again) on schedule and within budget. I would not hesitate to recommend them elsewhere, and should another project become available in the future, they would be an automatic choice..
