For those of you who are looking for committed, honest, reliable, skilful and friendly builders - look no further! I have never been able to recommend anyone as wholeheartedly as RLS who completely transformed our house in what was a year-long project. Robbie and Paul took on our project on our house in Ashley Park which involved gutting the whole house to a shell, taking the existing roof off and then constructing a double storey rear and side extension in brickwork. After installing all the structural steels, they re-built the roof over the existing and new parts of the house. Inside they handled all the renovation and carpentry including installing and tiling 5 bathrooms, two staircases, a kitchen, cinema room and all the underfloor heating. They worked tirelessly and professionally throughout the entire project with real attention for detail. They were conscientious and creative and able to quickly and calmly navigate any hitches and advise us on any decisions and developments as they arose. We could not have been happier, not just with the result, but the whole process (something we have never been able to say about previous builders at previous houses!) and feel truly grateful that such a wonderful team put their heart and soul into making our house a home.

Paul, Paul and Robbie completed an extension to our property, including a new kitchen and refurbishing our utility room in May 2024. They also laid a new patio, rebuilt our front garden wall, built a pergola, built a new bin area and fitted a new side gate. We cannot recommend them highly enough, they are extremely skilled at what they do, work to a very high standard, on budget and on time. They were friendly, personable, neat & tidy and open to any changes we made during the build. We lived in the house for the duration of the build and they went out of their way to make it as smooth and undisruptive for us as possible. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them.

RLS Construction completed a renovation for us at the end of 2023 which included a complete reconfiguration of the downstairs layout, new kitchen, new shower room, extension and patio. We cannot recommend them highly enough, the work was completed to an extremely high standard, on budget and ahead of time. Communication was excellent throughout the project and they were flexible with changes to scope along the way. Paul, Paul and Robbie were a pleasure to work with; friendly, personable, neat and tidy. Robbie came recommended by a neighbour. His first job was fixing a leak in my loft extension caused by poor workmanship of the original builder. His approach was honest, pragmatic and unlike other quotes, which involved stripping the whole roof at far greater expense, his approach solved my issue at a fraction of the cost. I recently had him back to repair another issue with the same roof as well as re-pointing and replacing some coving tiles. His approach was the same. He came in under budget as he was able to solve the problem easier than originally anticipated. All through the job, his communication was excellent and he provided sound advice and different options. He was conscientious till the end, returning to clean the windows and ensure any mess was cleared away. He will be the first person I call for any building or home improvement projects in future.

Robbie and Paul created a doorway from our kitchen into our garage and screeded the uneven floor in our conservatory. Could tell right from meeting Robbie that he really knows his stuff and we appreciated and felt confident in his advice. The work was done to a very high standard and we're really happy with the result. Will definitely be calling on RLS for future projects.

RLS Construction completed a downstairs extension for us that included reconfiguring the layout and a new kitchen. They installed two new bathrooms, replaced all doors and laid a patio. The work was completed to an excellent standard, with continued consultation being flexible to changes in scope and requirements. The work was completed sooner than they quoted and at a competitive price. The family team are highly personable, hard working and as non intrusive as possible. We would highly recommend them & would use them again.

The guys at RLS have done an outstanding job transforming our typical 1950's 3-bed semi into a more modern home. They undertook work to add a double-storey side extension, extension of the porch-way, extension at the rear, and add a family bathroom and en-suite. The work has been completed to a very high standard and they demonstrated their knowledge and skill across a number of trades. The build was completed on-time and on-budget. They kept us informed throughout and encouraged visits to discuss progress. I'd highly recommend RLS to anyone looking to make improvements to their home.

After much debate on who to use for doing an entire re roofing job, we chose RLS construction having seen their work in action from a house around the corner from us. We are and were delighted with the result, as they truly are a family business, never turning up late, staying on the job until completion and great to discuss issues with in finding resolution. Paul, Paul and Robbie completely transformed our garden by building a raised bed, laying a patio and converting our garage into another room with a bathroom. The professionalism, dedication and quality of their work is first class. They are master craftsmen; they are great value for money, they leave everything clean and tidy each night, offer sound advice to enhance your project and, just as importantly, they're lovely people to have carrying out work for you. I fully recommend to anyone to go with RLS Construction, they're brilliant!

After removing extensive ivy from our inherited back garden fencing we discovered a number of brickwork piers had split at the base (in addition, the fences were falling apart). Robbie and his team rebuilt these piers and a section of wall, plus installed new fencing (and gates) throughout. They were able to remove invasive tree roots and retain the original stone caps saving us additional expense. We also had a wall around our raised bed extended. Robbie was able to find bricks that matched the existing structure; we were very pleased with this. RLS Construction were a pleasure to work with. We would recommend them highly and hope to employ them on future projects.

I cannot recommend Paul and RLS Construction highly enough. From concept to finish Paul was incredible and everything you could hope for. Having had far too many bad experiences in the past with renovations, I was nervous about having our bathroom renovated. Paul came highly recommended by a neighbour and based on this we chose him for the project. I’m so glad we did, as I could not find fault with RLS and was highly impressed with both the quality of workmanship and the manner in which the work was carried out. Paul was always punctual and reliable as well as cleaning up after himself and taking extra care to keep things tidy and clean. You can tell that this family run company prides itself on the work that it carries out; that there is a real passion and care for the work that they do. We had a vision and an idea of what we wanted for the renovation and Pauls expert opinion and guidance helped us bring this to light. The quality of workmanship was excellent and Pauls attention to detail and ability to think of the smallest things that can be done to ensure both design and function were flawless are second to none. Robbie is an absolute delight to work with, having seen him do a grand job for next door we immediately asked him to do a some repairs to our roof and fit tile catchers to our gutters. He was always helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He never fails to give you 110%. If he sees some thing that needs doing rather than just leave it he will always sort it out or let us know. His prices are very reasonable and he was even apologetic for how expensive the necessary scaffolding made the job. He was also excellent at providing customer care when the entirely separate scaffolding company performed below par despite him in no way being responsible. Highly recommended

RLS construction did a fantastic job remodeling our bathroom recently. The work was carried out to a very high standard and we absolutely love the finished result. As well as a great standard of work, Robbie was on hand to offer much needed advice and his level of experience is clear. Robbie, Paul and Paul did an absolutely fabulous job with our extension in 2018. They replaced an old conservatory with a large kitchen/diner extension and reconfigured almost all of our ground floor layout, which involved some complex steel work. They did everything right through from taking the conservatory down to the decorating and finishing touches. The project was completed to time and there were no hidden surprises cost wise. They were completely reliable with an amazing work ethic - we couldn’t believe how quickly they got things done, but always completing things to a really high standard. They were extremely patient with our indecisiveness and provided brilliant advice. We encountered problems with our structural calculations (which had been provided by a third party completely separate from the build) part way through which caused a delay to the build, and Robbie, Paul and Paul could not have been more flexible and supportive. It could have been a disaster if we had used a less professional builder. We lived in the house throughout the build, with a 1 and 3 year old, and the team went out of their way to make it as easy as possible for us. They moved the kitchen sink and oven around for us so we were never without what we needed and made sure to order things in a way which always protected some living space downstairs for us. This was all done off their own back without us asking. And importantly they were fastidiously tidy and a pleasure to have around! Nearly two years on in July 2020 they returned to do a smaller project for us - replacing a flat roof and creating a new pitched roof at the front of the house. They were just as brilliant as before - seriously can’t fault them and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

RLS completed a fantastic two storey extension and a complete kitchen/diner extension and refurb on our house last year. Since then we have asked them back to refurbish our lounge too. They were always prompt in the morning and very hardworking. We hit problems with drainage approval from Thames water but they were happy to work round that even completing other work out of sync to keep to their time frame. Having never done major building work before we were eager to have the project managed totally by our builders. They managed all the different aspects of the build and called on other trades when they needed them too (this was not often as they have most of the trade skills between them and so there were next to no delays) They were friendly to have around each day and very accommodating of our two young children. Despite the disruption in the house, they made it as easy as possible for us to still live there and make use of the existing house and garden as much as possible. They made helpful suggestions when problems arose so that we could quickly resolve them and gave good recommendations for local businesses to support for things like kitchen appliances, flooring, lighting etc etc. All of their work is to a very high standard and we have had many compliments about the building work since it has been finished.

I have no hesitation in recommending RLS Construction. They built my downstairs extension which included a toilet, utility room and the fitting of a new kitchen. They were professional at all times, arrived on time every day and worked very tidily. Their level of workmanship and eye for detail is second to none.

RLS Construction did a superb job on our bathroom. Faced with a few difficulties presented by an old building they overcame them with skill. Their attention to detail simply is second to none and the quality of their work is superb! They give your property the same level of TLC that they give to their own. They are always on time, reliable and clean up really well at the end of day, as they appreciate that it is your home that they are working in. They are very good VFM when you factor in that these guys are professional builders that you can really trust. We arranged to have a drainpipe diverted & connected to another one because of an exhausted rainwater soakaway. Although this was a relatively small job, it was handled with skill & a smile. It is good to know that we have a reliable builder we can call upon in the future should the need arise.

Robbie came and replaced some underground clay pipes around the soil pipe. The pipes were cracked and were causing my driveway to sink. He did an excellent job. Very quick response and very reasonable price. Definitely recommend this company.

Robbie and Paul recently completed the build of a utility room, creating access from the house via a cloakroom into the garage space. I have been extremely impressed with the quality of their intelligent constructive thinking as the job progressed, suggesting modifications as we worked around existing obstacles. They demonstrated great building,carpentry, plastering, painting & tiling skills...and super tidy. Both brothers are very considerate of both the client and the surrounding neighbours ( which always helps !) . I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends .

RLS construction, father and sons business completed a loft conversion and full refurbishment of the existing property! All works carried out to a very high standard, always on time, always clean and tidy wherever working and very polite and friendly with knowledgeable advice when needed. The only construction business I would recommend!

We have recently had our flat roof relined with mineral felt, a roof lantern added and doors replaced. Robbie and his brother Paul along with their father did a fantastic job overcoming several problems and explaining them to us clearly. Always on time and always left tidy at the end of the day.
