Communication is a very strong plus for Norrsken as I was always dealing with the company throughout for quote, showroom, ordering, survey and install. All triple glazing in our self build passivhaus is Norrsken and we have been incredibly impressed with the product on all counts since installation 7 years ago. We recently had need for some after sales service for a loose seal/gasket on one of the patio sliders. Amy, the Customer Support Manager immediately organised a visit and when Norrksen's team of four (yes, the doors are very large and heavy!) arrived to replace the seal, we could not have been more impressed. The guys were instantly friendly, courteous and respectful of our property, and set to work on a very hot day to remove the door. This was no mean feat and all precautions were taken to ensure its safe removal. Two of the team then worked diligently to remove and replace the seal, taking lots of care and undertaking some supplementary future proofing work at the same time. The very experienced team leader also noticed a slight looseness on the handle which he tightened up for us too. All in all, a great job and the door now operates so smoothly in comparison with recent months before we became aware there was an issue with the seal. Would highly recommend the Norrsken product and their after sales.
The Norrsken team are experienced and professional and helped us at all stages through our new build, including a trip to the showroom in Poole to help us understand which products suited our brief best - we now new have high quality triple glazed windows and large format sliding doors to our new house and are very happy with the results.
Update: The news that you would make new windows was reciprocated to us but unfortunately considering your initial delays, the lack of communication and what would be another months wait (causing further disruption, delay and cost implications) we didn’t see this as a “good solution”. Id rather a company just know what they are doing and avoid the back up plans. Not impressed. We recently had an entrance screen and from a delayed delivery, to no communication when contated, a delivery eventually turning up completely unannounced and then the icing on the cake were products that weren't compatible and had to be adapted on site via our window installer & carpenter. All at my inconvenience and cost. As a developer i cant work with such incompetence.

I opted to install Norrsken windows in my new self-build house. Unfortunately during the build we suffered a break in and damage to two of the windows. The team at Norrsken were super helpful in getting me back on track. They sent a technician (Ben) to the site to access the damage and identify exactly what parts needed replacing and the Customer Support team (Ami) was able to process the order quickly and get the new windows delivered to site in a time to keep the project on schedule. I was very impressed with the after care service, communications were excellent and the whole process was efficient and timely. Thank you.
Norrsken triple glazed windows and doors were fitted in 2022 when we built a new house. They are superb. One very large patio door was becoming stiff to open. A Norrsken technician visited to make some adjustments under warranty, all perfect again. Excellent product and service
We researched many window suppliers before deciding on Norrsken for our triple glazed alu-clad timber windows and external doors. We chose Norrsken because of the overall quality and design of the product and the attention to detail within the quote. Norrsken did all the onsite measurements and the installation. We are very pleased with the results. The process from us saying 'yes' to the quote, to actually getting the order into manufacturing took quite a lot longer that we had expected. Norrsken's processes seem designed for big complex contracts, and are somewhat burdensome for a home owner doing a refurb project. So I'd definitely recommend Norsken but allow more time than you think to get from quote to installation.

The whole process with Norrsken has been exceptional. We were guided through the design and selection process making sure we were getting the exact windows for our self-build project. Thank you Norrsken for supplying the windows and bifold doors for our ScandiaHus extension. We did not expect to find closely matching windows to the original Swedish design from some 40 years ago but the current Norrsken windows are a very similar with the same top swung inverting feature and also triple glazed to the same specification. The sales team were also very knowledgeable and helpful (Petra) making sure the specification ordered was correct and matched our needs. After a challenge with the specification we were delighted to find that Norrsken could supply all the windows and doors for our new house, some very large. They are high quality and have performed as expected, meeting Passivhaus standards as assessed since occupation; they also look terrific. The large sliding unit in our kitchen has provided an important outdoor link and a small problem with locking was resolved quickly by the team. We are extremely happy with our beautiful windows from Norrsken. Having exhausted all local options, we asked them to quote for our barn conversion in Norfolk. We were a little apprehensive about sourcing from further afield, but we needn't have worried at all. The service and attention to detail from start to finish was 100% and very responsive. Our experience using Norrsken windows has been exceptional. The entire process was totally professional. The sales team were very knowledgable, surveyors extremely thorough and the installation team did a magnificent job. This was a refurbishment and so offered many challenges but nothing was too much trouble. Our home was kept clean and tidy throughout with minimal making good due to the meticulous and skilled work of the entire installation team. The customer services team kept us updated at all stages of our project. The Norrsken alu-clad triple glazed windows are superior to any other windows & doors that we looked at. 14 windows and doors have been installed (10 windows, 2 external doors, 1 French Door and 1 Lift/Slide patio door) and they are of exceptional quality. The whole process from first contact with Norrsken, the ordering, communication, installation and follow-up checks has been a pleasurable experience. Norrsken did an excellent job supplying and installing alu-clad timber triple glazed windows for my eco-refurb project. The windows and doors have a really high quality finish and are very robust. They have transformed the aesthetic and energy performance of the building.
Great quality windows. Really sturdy and strong- easy to fit apart from the weight. Decent fittings supplied with the windows. I had a great experience with Norrsken. I already had most of my house fit with a similar window (triple glazed timber) from a different firm closer to me in Yorkshire. We were doing an extension and I had tried to use this company again, but the service was terrible and they really let me down. So I decided to use Norrsken. The service was great and the lead time on the windows was actually quite short compared to my expectation. The windows from Norrsken are better quality than the ones I have from a different company. A big difference between them is the orientation of the timber in the frame. The way Norrsken do it leaves a much smaller profile on the frame, this is especially noticeable were 2 windows are joined together. I will defiantly use them again.
Choosing windows and doors for our self-build was a long journey that involved looking at multiple companies. In the end Norrsken offered a quality product at a good price and ticked all the boxes for us. From our initial conversations with the sales team including a visit to the showroom to the excellent communications during the design process and the on-time delivery (despite us delaying the installation due to other trades dragging their heels which Norrsken were happy to accommodate) to the excellent installation and post installation support we are very happy with our windows, sliders and doors. When I was looking for windows and doors on a building constructed from CobBauge, a form of earth construction and the first building to be constructed from this material in the UK, Norrsken offered fantastic technical support (Nick in particular), which greatly aided the design of the detailing for the windows. I had never used Norrsken before, so I was nervous about the quality, however Nick instilled confidence and I was impressed with the images on the website. Well the windows and doors have now been installed on this building, and I’m very impressed with the quality and design. Since this project I have specified Norrsken windows and doors on two further projects and would have no hesitation to specify them again.
I’m writing this review primarily to give credit to the whole team at Norrsken, and to the personal attention given by one of the directors - Nigel J. The sales and ordering process was easy and professional – resulting in us ordering high end product bespoke triangular dormer window along with two sets of 5m wide triple glazed three section glass doors and multiple size front and side windows. The installation team were very accommodating and helpful but during the install we suffered some issues related to differences being apparent between survey measurements and our builders aperture implementation. This meant that the installation could not be finished as scheduled and we had to undertake investigation and remedial actions with the Norrsken team. As we all know things can go wrong and the measure of a professional company is what they do about it when they do. This culminated in an investigation process and assessment of requisite remedial works which the Norrsken director personally took ownership for – attending our site and discussing with us possibilities. We struck an understanding and Nigel formulated a remedial plan, which whilst it took some time has resulted in us being very happy with the outcome – the end result looks superb. So I would recommend Norrsken as a company that deliver a very professional product and excellent after sales service. Well done!

I can highly recommend not only the quality of windows and doors that Norrsken supply, but their after service as well. They fitted in excess of 19 doors and windows for our new build including wonderful folding doors made by Centor. We had an issue with one of the incorporated blinds which they were swift to remedy with responsible CV19 compliant visits and emails by polite, efficient technicians where and when legal. Everything is gliding perfectly now - you couldn't ask for more.
I can highly recommend Norrsken. Originally I was going to have double glazed windows but after much research I found that Norrsken could beat all of the quotes for a high quality triple glazed option. The windows are beautifully crafted and have received lots of positive comments from passers by and subcontractors working on the house. It is self build project and doing this for the first time (and consequently asking lots of questions) I found the whole team at Norrsken incredibly friendly and helpful. Emails were replied to promptly and professional advice was freely given as and when I needed some help. The delivery driver was polite and helpful as well. On a very large order the only issue was a door sill in a different colour to the door which I discovered a few weeks after delivery. On notifying Norrsken and supplying a photograph a new sill was sent out immediately. So if you need excellent windows and good customer service at a decent price then you cannot go wrong with Norrsken.
Very good quality windows, the best that we saw when looking around. Design and planning from their team was exceptional and all staff were very friendly and willing to help with questions. The installation was also amazing as the team they had did it in the snow in February this year, difficult conditions but they persisted and the windows were all in and secure within 3 days. Overall very happy with everything provided!
We first saw Norrsken windows at the Swindon Self Build Centre a couple of years ago. We liked the look and quality, and despite looking at other companies providing similar high quality triple glazed aluclad windows, we were always drawn back to Norrsken. Tim was very helpful at an early stage - before we had a house to put them in - and stayed in touch gently during our slow build in SW Scotland. When the time came to place an order, we did ask for quotes from some of the other big names, but Norrsken always stood out for communication, choice, quality, performance and value. Norrsken’s showroom in Poole was very informative, and Tim spent a lot of time with us helping to fine tune the details of our our project. Our order was a supply only order of about 65 m2 including a 4m lift and slide door, and a very large front door. Because of the location, Norrsken preferred to provide the windows on a supply only basis as they thought they may not be able to provide their normal quality of back up should minor adjustments be needed in the future. They did, however, recommend a fitting company nearer us whom we engaged separately. We had the windows delivered directly to site and it was perfectly clear that we were responsible for offloading. Throughout the process Norrsken staff stayed closely in touch, did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it, and absolutely everyone we dealt with in the company was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The windows are exactly what we wanted and look great. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
An excellent company to deal with and a quality product. I made an initial enquiry for French Doors at the Homebuilding and Renovation Show. A quote quickly followed and I subsequently visited the showroom in Poole. Delivery dates were held despite COVID 19. The doors are of a high quality and I would have no hesitation in recommending Norrsken.

We travelled up and down the country visiting manufacturers and many self build shows. We finally settled on Norrsken as their Alu-Clad product was better and significantly cheaper than the nearest like for like UK manufactured product.
A great service from start to finish. While researching window suppliers at various renovation and builders exhibitions, the quality of the Norrsken windows was so far above anything else we saw, I almost didn't approach them for a quote as I thought they would be well out of our price range. But, it turned out, they were very competitively priced and our builders said they were much better quality and easier to fit than anything they had come across, so we actually saved money on the fitting. Super friendly and helpful office staff who know their products very well and helped make sure we made no mistakes during the ordering process. We couldn't have asked for a better service or a better finished product. Very happy (and very cosy) customers!

Norrsken were really helpful when speccing our windows and helping us organise delivery within our required timeframe, which was a little bit tight. We've had the windows for over a year now and have been impressed with the quality so far. Our only issue was that when the windows were delivered, there didn't seem to be a plan for how they would be safely removed from the truck. We got it sorted but that's the only reason I haven't given 5 stars.

We met Tim at one of the self-build shows and were immediately impressed with the quality of Norrsken’s alu-clad product. We asked the team (and two other suppliers) to quote for windows (non-standard sizes), doors and sliding doors for our self-build project. Norrsken were the only supplier to quote for our feature window in the configuration we wanted – see photo. Tim was extremely patient with the various revisions we made to ensure the sizes and finishes were correct. Our order was delivered on time and, as self-installers, Norrsken readily and quickly answered our installation questions - they even replaced a unit we managed to damage very quickly! We are extremely pleased with the end product – both internally and externally – and with the professional service we received from the Norrsken team throughout the sales, delivery and after-sales process.
It took a lot longer than originally quoted/expected to get our replacement door supplied & fitted, but John & Franklin were very friendly & efficient - arrived on time on the day booked, did the job speedily & tidily, so all now good as new
Norrsken windows were installed in my new house bought three years ago. Everyone remarks on their fine craftsmanship and quality. When one of the door panels recently required some adjustment, I was impressed by the responsive and effective diagnosis I received. The staff in customer services could not have shown greater care and attention. They were always exceedingly quick to reply to emails and concerned to provide the right solution. As a result of their investigation and remedy, all is now perfect again.
Whatever your views on Europe, they definitely know how to make superb windows. We knew we wanted aluminium-clad timber and checked out several competitors – and we're delighted that we chose Norrsken. The product (windows, bifolds, sliders) is superb: beautifully made, precise shut lines, superbly engineered, top-quality alu outside and painted timber inside. We knew we could do business with the Norrsken team as soon as we met them at a self-build show, and they've looked after us really well from start to finish – from choosing the right product and ordering, to fitting, and aftercare. The windows stood up well to being fitted halfway through the build, and from a performance perspective have proved a worthwhile investment since.
For our self-build garden studio project, we have reached out quite a few well-known window companies and Norrsken came on top for their exceptional customer service, prompt response and most importantly cost of the triple pane windows with an amazing u-value. Tim was very knowledgable and gave impartial advise on specifying our 2m x 1m windows. I felt very comfortable talking to Norrsken team especially Tim and Ami. After singing on the dotted line and deposits paid, windows were delivered on time as promised. Windows were installed by us following advise from their technical team. Glazing solution from Norrsken do not disappoint you. Aluminium Clad Timber frame is faultless. I would highly recommend this company.

Norrsken were professional and efficient all through the process. From initial consultation then measuring to actual installation and follow-up, the company has been brilliant. The windows and doors we have had installed look amazing and our barn is now a lot quieter - we are very exposed here to wind and Norrsken's triple-glazed doors have made a huge difference. Can't recommend Norrsken highly enough and we will be having more windows done by them as soon as we can.
100% delighted. The team at Norrsken couldn't be more helpful and honest from the very first contact to even after the installation. The windows and doors are amazing. They have the look and feel of quality and excellent workmanship. For our self build, with the help and technical advice from Marju in sales, we opted for a mixture of fixed and outward opening triple glazed units with an anthracite (and a few bright orange) ally clad exterior with pale grey painted wood inside...a hard choice as there were so many colours, finishes and designs to choose from, but we're totally delighted. Norrsken also went above and beyond in helping us navigate the complexities of UK building regs regarding our choices.

The door looks great and is fantastic quality. Well fitted and the service has been excellent. Only point to note is that the fitters do not take away the packaging for the door which includes quite a bit of timber, great if you have a log burner but not otherwise. That apart - excellent all round and highly recommended.
We were very particular about the windows for our project, visiting many shows to check thoroughly, after all, they are the eyes of the house externally and denote the quality of the house internally. It is now a year since our Norrsken windows and doors were installed and living with their aesthetics and engineering still gives us a thrill of making the best choice. Most visitors enquire/comment positively about them too. Our bifold window, study desk corner window and flying mullions are all key features of our home that may not exist without the 'can do' attitude of Alex and his team -thankyou SO much and I recommend you to anybody who wishes to invest wisely!

I am a developer who tries to deliver high end homes at below high-end cost. I am difficult to deal with because I am fussy, I look at everything and I will consider several competitive products before I choose a supplier: I chose Norrsken because their product is head and shoulders the best price-to-quality product available, especially the lift and slide door systems and their oak finishes. Norrsken''s flexibility in offering wood-wood, wood-aluminium or all aluminium worked for me. Marju in sales was a delight to deal with and Ami in Customer service followed up once the product was on site. I would whole-heartedly recommend them.
I really wanted full alum. windows but was unable to find a product that really delivered. Instead I chose Norrsken as alum outside and wood internally. It was a delight doing business with them. They are not the cheapest, but if you want a really good product you will have to pay a sensible amount, and these were certainly not over priced. These windows turned up exactly to spec, a dream for the installers, also Norrsken, looking fabulous. They appear very robust, the bifolds are a dream to use, I tried some other products which I could hardly operate. All the staff were very helpful and it was a totally great experience.

Great doors awful service. Noorsken have obviously found a great doors and windows company and asked to become the uk sales team. This means if any adjustments need to be made,-they as the middle men have to go back to the original company and you will have to wait up to 8 weeks + (which they will say-they are just so busy at present or it is not there fault as they have to wait for the supplier). If that adjustment doesn't work-and bearing in mind 8weeks+ each time- 6 months can pass for one window! Builders leave for new jobs..you call and email constantly but Norsken really just don't care. They leave the site messy, will always blame the builders or the supplier..will never take responsibility for anyhing. Find a supplier that actually make the doors -they will be cheaper, quicker and will care about the end product and your experience.
