We have so far had a full bathroom rip out and install, a new fence, a garden renovation including new astro and most recently a full kitchen renovation including knocking walls down etc and getting it finished by Xmas, all done by Olly and the team. Why do we keep using Ashland, because the work has been fantastic. Always professional and reliable including managing any unforeseen issues when they arise, with constant communication. Would highly recommend, and we will definitely use for the next job (once we decide what that is!).
We recently used Ashland Builders for urgent building works and couldn't be happier with the service and results. From my very first contact, Olly, the owner, was approachable, professional, reassuring and responsive. He kept in close communication throughout the project, was always available to answer questions or be onsite at short notice, he ensured I knew exactly what was happening at every stage. His quick responses and proactive updates gave us complete confidence from start to finish. Russell, who led the remedial works, was excellent. The project was completed within the agreed timescales, all key building milestones were achieved as planned, and the quality of the workmanship was outstanding. My first build by Ashland Builders was my porch and I was really delighted. Olly was great at talking through options and putting together a comprehensive quote. The way the quote was itemised and included descriptions for all phases was really helpfully broken down. The builders were clean, tidy and respectful of my surrounding property and my neighbours. Olly was great at checking in as the project developed and evolving/ adapting the design as required. Couldn't be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend for future work. *update* Just had my second project with Ashland Builders completed. Another fab job! Olly was - as always - super helpful and pragmatic helping to find a suitable solution for my decaying summer house! He talked through options, prices and helped me find something that was most suitable. Lucy scheduled the work efficiently and the team arrived on time, were tidy and got the job done professionally. Ashland have just completed my new porch and I’m delighted with the final result. Olly, Lucy and the team did a great job with the simple brief I gave them, they gave a competitive quote and built a glazed porch with a single hipped roof matched carefully to the style of the house. Plastering was done to a high standard, they dealt with any issues with suppliers on my behalf and were always tidy and pleasant. Communication was good and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
Ashland Builders completed a small repair job for us and we are very pleased with the service provided and the job completed. They were very quick to respond and book us in, staff were friendly and very competent and the job was completed to a very high standard.
We contracted Ashland builders to completed a complete replacement of a sofits, fascia boards and guttering which was well overdue. The team at Ashland were super helpful, working around our busy family life to ensure the work was completed to the highest quality and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them and we will be having them back for future projects.
Ashland Builders, led by Ollie were superb. We had 2 bathrooms done at the same time that included extensions, re flooring, electrics, wetrooms and everything else. We were doing this whilst abroad, so added worry for us, but Ollie and the team made the entire project run smoothly. They communicated well, kept us up to date and walked through all spends, so there were no surprises. The finished project was excellent and any minor snags upon our return, Ollie was on to them immediately. I highly recommend Ashland Builders. In fact we have another job possibly coming up and they are at the top of our list.
Solid, reliable, came recommend to me and I'd recommend them to another. I had some minor repairs and works needed in a flat - they finished up and left the sight in better condition than the plumbing company that also did some work.

Ashland Builders did our bathroom; fitting new flooring shower sink and units. Very friendly and professional team. Scheduled job to suit our requirements and very pleased with the finish. Team were responsive and kept us informed throughout. Even when there was a problem with the shower door (outside of their control) they returned to refit it for us in time for Christmas. Would definitely recommend
We had the pleasure of Olly and his team headed up by Emil working on our house for 18 months. This was a total refurb of the house plus 2 extensions. We decided to live in the house during this process which added to the complexity. I could write a book on what was done but in short, everything! And it was done to a fantastic standard. What was great was the friendliness of Ollys team who always went the extra mile to do the job correctly. Olly is pedantic about adhering to all building regulations and ensures the job is both well done and compliant. Since completing the major works if we have a problem, and we have had very few, the team are quickly deployed to sort it out. Often over a long project like this client and builder often fall out! However I believe Olly and I are good friends now and all involved are very proud of the results. Thanks guys for an exemplary job.
From start to finish Ollie and team made it easy and straightforward no jargon or complication we worked our way through various changes in plans he suppled and fitted a large bespoke rear French door and multi panel windows with a metal girder to support house All carried out in timely frame by his very professional hard working v tidy polite and respectful team Everyone we dealt with was superb. Amazing achievement. The aim was to restore and refurbish a 400 year old cottage which had suffered flood damage. To describe the project as challenging is an understatement. The property had been completely stripped out. There is not a straight wall or floor throughout and its listed status constrains what can be done. On top of this, a builder who had initially taken on the job had done more harm than good, and all his poor (and in some instances dangerous) workmanship had to be put right. Olly brought to the task professionalism, commitment and a determination to restore the good name of the building profession. His own team of skilled craftsmen, and the experts he brought in to do specialist jobs, were unfailingly pleasant and polite and worked to the highest standards. They provided creative solutions to problems and thought up really good ideas to make better use of the space. If anything was wrong it was put right promptly and with good grace. Precise pricing of the job was difficult - partly because of the remedial work needed due to the poor work inherited, but also the age of the property which meant problems were constantly being unearthed that couldn’t have been anticipated. Olly was fair and flexible in dealing with these, absorbing some of the costs himself and providing different options to keep them down. His advice throughout was invaluable. Under Olly’s intelligent guidance, his team transformed the cottage (as in due course the photos will show). I can’t recommend the company highly enough.

We could not be more impressed or pleased with the amazing work carried out by Olly and his team. Olly and his team reconfigured the whole downstairs of our house (including removal of structural and non structural walls and installation of kitchen etc). With this being the first time doing work on a house we were slightly cautious entering into the process, but were so happy with how easy Olly made it for us. Key things to highlight: - Olly always made himself available and invested a lot of time to advise and discuss design options and approaches with us. Throughout he was patient and gave advice that was the best for us and the house - Olly's team were kind, respectful, hard working, took pride in their work and completed all work to high levels of quality. We were impressed with the attention to detail and efforts to go above and beyond to ensure an excellent result - Olly was always clear, transparent and fair with his pricing. The quoting process was detailed and robust and meant we were all clear on the works to be carried out before they started - Significant effort was also made to keep the place clean and minimise disruption. Olly made sure that we always had cooking facilities and the team would always spend time at the end of the day tidying up and cleaning Would strongly recommend Olly and his team and will 100% be using him again for any further building work!

Olly and his team moved and remodeled our kitchen - and installed bi-folding doors through to the garden. It was a brilliant and surprisingly low-stress experience throughout and we are delighted with the final result. Key things included: - the whole works were carefully planned from the start and all the dates were hit on time and on budget. - huge efforts were made to minimize disruption. We always had temporary cooking and cleaning facilities and the space was cleaned at the end of every day. - Olly was always available to discuss design decisions and was very patient with any changes of plan. - the team worked quickly, efficiently and very hard. They went the extra mile to ensure the final result was perfect. Would thoroughly recommend.

Olly and his team constructed a fantastic 2-storey side extension and loft conversion for us. They always arrived on time and worked diligently even in the face of some horrendous weather conditions! They were professional and trustworthy, but also friendly and approachable. It was a pleasure to have them work on our house, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others looking to undertake this kind of project.
Ashland Builders built a new Garage and converted an existing Integral Garage into a Sitting Room. The work was completed on time and close to budget. The standard of work was excellent. The neighbours were very complimentary on the finish obtained and the conduct and work ethic of Olly and his team throughout the build.
Work undertaken was the demolition of a 6’ high garden wall that was in danger of collapse followed by its rebuilding. The quality of the work is excellent and was carried out quickly. They arrived on time and kept us informed of when materials were be delivered. The site was left clean and tidy despite bad weather.
