Great place for me as a DIY'er, and excellent staff. They are usually very helpful but today the retail staff including Rob, and the delivery driver Jason both went over and above to help me out in a pinch, right at the end of their day. Two thumbs up.

For some one who is not comfortable with anything DIY, you were ideal, as you didn't make me feel small when I badly described what I needed. Instead you questioned and found the answer. Just what I needed, and now the job is fixed. Well done .
I've got two options here: either get 'mansplained', or staff say they can't understand what I'm trying to build. The available screw sizes need to be labelled or organised into type, size and length. Several sizes not available in any type, so I get told I can use a longer length screw with multiple washers - what a bodge job that would be! Will add photos when project is complete, thanks to the hardware shop in Hythe.
I've only ever bought fence panels there but always a pleasure to do business with.
Only order last night fences panels and post at 16.45 and was delivered at 9.30 today very quick and great service from the start to the finish Kevin was really helpful and the driver was superb highly rocmended
Beware if you are a retail customer. Pricing is not transparent and for the small item I needed they were 400% more expensive than TP round the corner
Expensive, the young lad in the yard didn't have a clue, guess he had just started. Wish I had more time ,I would have gone to B and Q.

Great selection of tools, but damn, it's the most expensive builders merchants I've ever used! I don't know if they give discounts for regulars at like 80%, but sadly I won't be going back
