Because of the location the job required scaffolding, which Andy organised and which was delivered very promptly. Andy turned up on time and completed the job the same day, clearing up any debris. Extremely happy with the work done on the rebuild of an eight pot shared chimney. The job proved more than initially thought due to unforeseen issues with the internal state of the chimney. These issues however were delt with very professionally and the cost did not spiral ridiculously. Overall both myself and my neighbours are extremely happy with the work done, the professional and courteous manor in which it was undertaken and ultimately the fact that considering the increased work the coast did not spiral. Will definitely recommend ACB Pointing to people in the future.
There were obvious problems with our chimney, but we couldn't be sure what those problems were until it was inspected. Andy was careful to take photos to show us what needed doing. He gave us a fair price, which he stuck to - despite bad weather preventing him to get on as planned. At all points, Andy kept us informed and I feel that he is both skilled in his job and eminently trustworthy. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Andy & Ilona have just re-pointed 3 sides of our house. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They gave us great advice on the work that needed to be carried out & have matched the colour brilliantly to the original pointing on the 4th side of the house which didn't need replacing. Thanks for a wonderful job on the brick pointing, Properia Proofing & the French drain. You & Ilona worked really hard each day & you were both considerate of fitting in with our requirements when we had our granddaughter over. The work you have done is great & your care in choosing the right colour match & makeup of the mortar our house required was spot on. You cleared up each day & did a super job of clearing up everything on the final day to leave it in the condition you found it in at the start. We had some unsightly grills on the outside kitchen wall and some areas where the render had fallen away around the garage. Andy and his assistant were wonderful, as they worked hard and delivered a very professional finish. The brickwork infills and repairs are now virtually impossible to see. Andy worked tirelessly through the difficult weather to complete our project. He removed two chimneys, cleared the roof of 90 years of moss and muck and then applied a treatment to the roof which now looks brand new - giving it many more years of life.
