Honestly the service from start to finish has been amazing! I’ve found it hard to find reliable tradesmen since becoming a home owner. The Initial guy who came to quote came from Leeds and was the first tradesman to arrive on time! Then the email reminders for the job once confirmed were reassuring, they did have to rearrange the initial fit date due to a personal circumstance with a fitter but they fitted us back in a week later. 2 lads arrived to do the job and I was working from home, they were respectful, quick, clean and the job is perfect for what we needed doing - a useable and accessible loft for additional storage. Arrived at 10 and finished at 3 - amazing work, no mess! Would HIGHLY recommend!

Be careful with these guys, says in their T&Cs they can leave your hatch a mess basically 😂 with gaps around the rim being “unavoidable” and just requiring a “bead of caulk” (surely something they could do if so to ensure a good finish??). Job took practically the whole day (was told a few hours) and soft furnishings and walls made really dirty in the process. Offered a decent discount on final payment so I’ll give them that. And their work boarding out the actual loft was decent. Definitely wouldn’t recommend onward though

They say a company is only as good as their last job, and I can honestly say I’m extremely grateful for the work carried out. From the moment the team arrived, they were professional throughout. Despite my home already looking like a building site, the guys were always respectful of the space. The noise and dust were kept to an absolute minimum from start to finish, which I truly appreciated. Thank you for a great job.

Had hatch and ladders done beginning of may what a terrible mess 2 lads that couldn’t be bothered and had to rush off for pub leaving floorboards up things moved not put back heavy items not on floorboards etc nails not screwed in where they should be. A different bloke came to rectify the mess and told us it was the second house he’d been to that day to tidy up after them. Not a company I’d go back to ever again, plastering shocking round hatch I could have done better with my eyes shut. All I can say is from my experience is avoid this company., unless you want your loft cocking up !

Ben the lead fitter and his team mate provided an excellent service. They introduced themselves, explained their plans, and covered our carpets with plastic to protect them during installation. They neatly packed up waste, swept the floor, and left the property as they found it. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and professionalism. I highly recommend T&G Lofts.

T&G were great. Our loft was in a mess and they sorted it no problem, they worked efficiently and have left it spotless. From the phone call, to the consultation meeting and final install they’ve been really helpful. They offer different quotes and can tailor to what you need. They advised some of our insulation was fine so didn’t overcharge. Highly recommend!

Just had my loft done today, and I was really pleased with the job, great work, lads that came were very pleasant and informative, left it clean & tidy, came on time, great company kept me informed and in contact all the way, highly recommend this company

Asked for a quote. All good so far and came within a week. The guy came and I made it clear I wanted the full loft boarded. He quoted me £1800 I thought great, let’s get it sorted. Checked in again to agree the whole boarding of the loft and Ben advised it was the middle only!!! Requested he escalated this as I made it clear at the quote stage that the full loft flooring was needed. He then re-did a quote at nearly double!!!!! To the company, don’t send out your team who don’t listen to customers requests. Chip board flooring too is not what I requested which was another mention with no acknowledgment! Now gone with a company who will do all the work requested along with an electric 2 plug socket for £1800… again, shame your team don’t listen to customers.

T&G lofts were great. Stephen who came to assess the job and give us the quote was very knowledgeable and professional and the price was better than i was expecting. The lads who came on the day weren't the most communicative bunch but they got the job done in good time and to a good standard and left the house in a pretty good state. The useable loft storage space is now huge and its so much more pleasant to go up there than before so its money well spent if you're thinking about ways to increase your storage.

Absolutely, recommend T&G lofts from start to finish: Fabulous, friendly and professional. communication from Steven and the team excellent. Messages/e mail to keep us inn loop re costs/bookings/arrival times and how to prepare area etc. The guys doing loft texted prior to ETA and worked solidly until all done. They were brilliant ! Protected lower area with dustsheet & cleaning up after. Explained and demonstrated how everything worked. Follow up calls to check we were 100% satisfied. Super, pleased with results and made our loft space safely usable.

A few months after fitting, the ladder came away at the top after a handful of uses. I have sent 2 emails and made two phonecalls and recieved no date for a repair.

Josh and Dylan have been to our property today. They were brilliant. Fast working reliable on time respectful of our Home and put plastic sheeting down in the hall stairs and a dust sheet as to where the rubbish and loft debris was falling on the landing. The cleaned up after themselves and explained everything to us as to what was happening. Our loft give them a little challenge to tackle but they managed it and sorted out a new way for us to put storage in. Old houses hey. They come with there problems after so many year. Never having utilised my loft space for nearly 30 years, I was looking to have my loft boarded to create additional storage space. I was very pleased with the service provided by T&G Lofts. Their estimator came promptly and the work was completed to a high standard within 1 month of my initial enquiry. The fitters were polite and tidy. I had not realised how much rubbish previous owners had left behind but this was disposed of at no extra cost. I am delighted with the results! I now have extensive storage space.

Decent job! T&G quoted a fair price for a new loft hatch alongside boarding the centre section of my 2 bed terrace in Brighouse. Install was done within 3 or 4 hours and the finished loft is much more useable and easy to access. Would recommend!

T&G lofts were very professional and have done an excellent job. They worked with me and had a couple of in person and telephone consultations to make sure product suited my needs, the space, and the type of loft/beams etc I had. They were very upfront and pragmatic when selling to me and I felt like they were offering me both the best value for money, as well as a honest job, not trying to push a sale. They took away any waste and were very tidy. Left with great loft boarding and insulation which has made a difference. I consultanted 8 different firms and got a quote from each before making a choice (a lot of money to spend and you want the right people) and T&G were my choice because they seemed to have the best product design for the money, the best availability to work with me as I do shifts. Have recommended to friends and family.

T&G Lofts completed a refit of a broken loft hatch, as well as fitting new ladders and boarding out a section of my loft. Due to work commitments, I wasn’t able to be in the house at the time, and they kept me informed all the way through the works. When I returned home that night, the only way I knew they had been was the fantastic work they had undertaken. Clean, professional and good value for money. It’s hard to find people you can trust - but T&G Loft’s are definitely a firm that deliver.

T&G lofts came out. Measured and boarded our loft out for us. Increased the size of the loft hatch and put a ladder in. Fantastic work. Cleaned up after themselves. And we had storage we never had before.

Failed to attend any of the appointments, with lots of creative last minute excuses. Poor communication and then offering to undertake work based upon photos on file, which isnt possible as photos had never been sent only for them to realise they had duplicated another clients photos onto my file. Extremely poor amateur set up, that rely on texting clients only, no courtesy of a phone call but really good at saying sorry. If you have time to waste then this is your go to company

Got the work started quickly, was good value for money, and the workers were friendly, polite, tidy, and did a great job. Additionally, we were given a discount as we could work round their schedule. Got some quotes in June, decided to to with T&G lofts. Had asked around as different methods were quoted. Going with the wood cross hatch was my initial thought, but tradies confirmed y thinking, which was also one of the points made for the system when getting a quote from Ben (cute handwriting BTW Ben lol) After the decision was made and conformed I spoke to Ty. They had a cancellation that week, but we were able to take it. But only had to wait a couple of weeks until work commenced. On the morning of day 1 Josh text to give me an ETA, but got here a little earlier which is good. On arriving the lads introduced themselves then cracked on. As stated they were back today around the same time. They did at first try befriending of the cats, but he joined his sisters in hiding.... On completion I was shown the best and safest way to open the hatch and draw down the ladder ( we went for a wooden ladder) and got to check out the work done. Later on Ty contacted to see if we were happy, told him hubby not home yet, so I'd let them know. He asked if the invoice could be sent, but if there were any issues to get in touch. Hubby is happy. Invoice paid promptly. Confirmation received soon after. From start to finish, all those I met or spoke to were very nice, polite and personable. Prompt service throughout and the price didn't disappoint either. Would totally recommend

Highly recommend T&G lofts :) Steven came out promptly to survey and sent a quote across the same day he visited. He explained everything thoroughly, didn’t try force us to get a larger space boarded or any extras. They managed to get us booked in within a couple of days. On the day of installation, I received an ETA from the team (Charlie and Josh). Both were polite and friendly, and completed the job within the day. They checked we were happy with everything before leaving, and cleaned up after themselves. We had our hatch relocated, ladders installed and 9m2 boarded, with extra insulation added to the none boarded area. Will definitely use them again if we decide to board the full loft! Competitive prices and great team, thank you all :)

They do a loft conversion before Christmas for extra storage, good job however the hatch hinge plastic snapped off all through out till now. Contact them still no come back.The house was freezing during winter but I will try and get someone have a look or will just tape it up as sometimes it doesn't hold.many thanks.

All in all, very impressed. Communication at first was a bit haphazard, but not to the extent it was a serious concern, and certain concerns and queries we had about our particular situation were fully addressed. We had a new loft hatch and ladder installed, about half the loft boarded (half was already done), and shelving installed full length of the loft on both sides. The installers were very efficient and polite and did an excellent job, and the standard of the work was first class. The cost was, in my view, very reasonable for the amount of work that was done, the quality of the materials used (of course it's not seasoned oak, but there are options, even at the more basic end of work such as this) and the speed at which the work was carried out. In summary, we're very satisfied with the whole experience and would certainly recommend them for any loft access / loft storage needs.

Excellent from start to finish, Ty and Steve in the office explained everything concisely from the quote to the final payment. We can ended up with two teams both days, 4 lads, (which have to apologise I don't know all their names), each were polite, tidy and professional. I got a number of quotes for loft boarding, insulation and a new hatch. To be honest they were all similar but I chose T&G Lofts as they offered the insulation at a reduced price and the loft surveyor Ben was really helpful……No big sales pitch just all the facts and figures and explained all options. The fitter was great as well, cleaned up and his work was spot on. They were efficient, helpful, offered a good price and on time - keeping me updated on arrival time the day before, would highly recommend.

Thank you to Ben & Ty for firstly responding to my initial enquiry which was fast and efficient. Brilliantly agreed the date of when Ben would come out to survey, to then Ty discussing with me what would be carried out within the works, as well as the cost & how as a landlord it’ll be a plus for the energy efficiency rating too. Nonetheless, Charlie & Josh came out the property the week after conversations with Ben & Ty! The work was done to a very high Standard. As I had a busy work load within my workplace, Charlie ensured he FaceTimed me to display the work being carried out, even when attending the property before they finished, Josh & Charlie answered all my queries that I had in relation to the loft work being carried out. They was polite, clean, good sense of humour, brilliant work ethic as well as good hearted lads that T&G loft team are lucky to have! Not to forget, although not have met Ty personally, a well spoken person over the phone, explained everything thoroughly, responded to my emails and texts promptly without any concerns. Ben a busy bee, a kind polite person, all communication through emails, was prompt and ensured I got the best outcome for myself as well as the company in the works being carried out. Work carried out; Loft insulation with fakro stairs, thermawrap, l shaped banister, double layer raised crossed braced timer system. All this has helped my energy rating from a D to a C! This company is fairly new from what the team stated to me, around 2 years! Fantastic service. From the initial visit from Steven, who was very professional and explained everything, to the actual work, which was insulating and boarding the loft and was done leaving no mess whatsoever. The lads cleaned and vaccumed after themselves (it was thought the elves had come during the night and cleaned) :-) We were very happy with the work and the reasonable cost. Our loft has now been upgraded and insulated to 270mm, current building regs. Thank you T&G, I highly recommend this company and wish them all the best for the future!

Can’t fault the team at T&G Lofts. Email and phone communication was great, the lads who carried out the work were stuck in traffic on the way to us but kept us updated. They did a fantastic job insulating our loft, using protective sheeting to cover all the carpets downstairs, and cleaned up the loft afterwards. Would definitely recommend.

We have moved home and we were desperately in need of storage space. The house is old with a tiny loft access point. T&G Lofts came promptly to quote for insulation, boarding, moving and enlarging the access and loft ladder. The price was reasonable so we went ahead. We were given a really quick completion date. The quality of the work was outstanding and the guys that did the work were polite, hard working and did a fantastic job. I cannot speak highly enough of this company. Completely trustworthy.

First class, professional experience from start to finish. Upgraded the original 40 year old 100mm loft insulation to the new 270mm standard. The no obligation survey and quotation was conducted pleasantly and competitively and the work was completed to the same high standard. Everyone I dealt with was excellent, polite, friendly and respectful throughout and it is clear the company takes customer satisfaction very seriously indeed.

Had the guys install a new loft hatch and upgrade my insulation. They worked around my schedule and were in and out in 3 hours. Brilliant job.

Very disappointing experience. Agreed to go ahead with them & did not even bother to come back to me after waiting a week & speaking to 2 different colleagues. Feel like they have a bit of a chip on their shoulder. Would not recommend if this is the level of service provided to customers.

Absolutely fantastic job done by T&G Lofts, I now have lots more storage space with easy access. My previous hatch could only have been used by someone with the same kind of body size as a 12 year old gymnast! Now I not only have ladders but also space at the top of them. The lighting is fantastic and does two jobs as it means I will always have some form of portable lighting during a power cut lol. The lads carried out the job very quickly and efficiently and were lovely with it. After they left I found the teeniest issue, sent an email and it was dealt with directly and pretty much on the spot. Top job all round from the lovely people on the other end of the phone and computer and the great pair of lads who did the job. Quality loft conversion, if I get anything else done to it, T&G Lofts will be my first choice.

The fitters messaged me night before with an ETA, friendly, put film down and hoovered up after then shown me how to work the new loft latch and I feel so much safer using the loft now don't have any photos yet as need to decorate first

Great job on the loft, boarding and insulation looks great, lads were sound and professional and left everything clean and tidy. Only negative is they brought a really small step ladder with them and struggled to get into the loft, even after the initial surveyor told us we have the highest loft hatch they've ever seen.... They had to ask to borrow ours in the end which was fine. Would recommend them nonetheless, thanks T&G!

The Team did a fantastic job. Very professional and friendly, would use them again in a heartbeat.

Their teams are excellent but their surveyor needs work. They didn't explain the ladder options or how they work. The team arrived without all the equipment they needed, so made the install a bit messy, delayed and cheap with a trip to Selco to install some VERY CHEAP led lights that we will have to replace. If you're looking for a cheap install they'll meet your expectations. The quality of what they've done is fine but if you're looking for a great install with options then maybe they're not for you. They're definitely relying on their teams to deliver.

If I could give these guys more stars, I would! They had to remove an old spiral staircase which was a nightmare of a job, had to buy specialist tools to assist (did not incrase quoted cost for job), They had to re install some joists and some attic floor boarding as well as fitting the new hatch and ladder. Cracking job, great bunch of guys, pleasant, tidy and left everything clean. Highly recommended 👌

I had James & Steven come out to provide me with a quote a few weeks ago and they were very professional and informative. I then got booked in for the job to be completed within 2 weeks. The 2 guys on site (Ty & Dave) were really polite and tidy. The job was done I 1 day and was exactly what I had asked for. Im super happy with the outcome and could not recommend this company enough.

I was looking for a specific type of loft ladder, had many companies make site visits but then say it was too difficult and hard to find. T&G Lofts came and checked out the site and my requirements and went away saying they would investigate. I thought that would be the end but a few days later they rang to say they could get one, though there would be a delay whilst it was sourced. There were several delays for different reasons, but they kept me informed at all times and eventually the day arrived and it was installed. They did an excellent job, working a long day to ensure it was completed, and cleaned up after. They made sure that I was able to operate the ladder properly and safely. I have absolutely no problem in recommending them for all aspects of the transaction. Indeed I wish all tradespeople operated to such a high standard

I had steve and ty create a store room office space in my unused loft space. They were efficient, dedicated and went they extra mile to get the best finish. My loft used to be dead space as it was unsafe and challenging to access, but I now have a compact ladder which easily folds down, loads of shelving, sturdy raised flooring and lighting! This storage solution has completely transformed my loft - highly recommended.

The guys from T&G lofts recently came to create extra storage in my attic and all I can say is what a fantastic job they’ve done. I live in a new build in Horsforth and they aren’t built with loads of storage space, but with the boarding they have done it’s created so much extra space I’ve got more than enough room for my storage needs. They also fit a ladder which is really easy to use to access the loft. The price I’ve paid is cheaper than any I was quoted elsewhere and the guys couldn’t have been more helpful and polite. I couldn’t recommend T&G more, if you’re looking for a storage solution look no further.
