Great service Jack was an absolute legend. Had a leak in our very old cold water tank, jack came in ripped the old 80s style thing we had out, fitted us with a lovely new one and managed to get the hot water working again, best of all he managed to increase the pressure. What a great guy

Jack came to the rescue when we had water coming through our sitting room ceiling. He found and fixed two separate leaks very quickly and provided excellent advice. We were then able to get him back a few days later to replace a shower. We will definitely be using Jack for all future plumbing jobs and wholeheartedly recommend him.

They know their stuff, don’t mess around, are efficient and such a nice team of blokes! Jack first came by (almost the same day I inquired) to help with our boiler. He couldn’t help but didn’t charge me a call out and was very knowledgable. Yesterday Kieran sent out another of their team to help with our mains link and the job was done in 5 minutes with ease. I will always use this plumbing service and recommend others to do the same.

Jack was really helpful in diagnosing the problem with our boiler via whatsapp and then managed to fit us in the next day. He was very communicative as the day went on and when Max, one of his employees, turned up he was friendly and approachable (even for my son, 4, who was interested in what he was doing). He was kind and engaged with him (even though it was probably quite annoying for him)! I'll definitely phone JL Plumbing again for any issues we have in the future.
Can't praise Jack highly enough. Complicated old house with layers of make do and mend plumbing from years back. Jack replaced our hot water cylinder (dual coil) on schedule and on budget. Even mended a copper kettle for me whilst he was here and showed me how to do similar repairs myself. Left us with simple advice on how to fix another plumbing problem which has persisted for years, followed his advice and we now have a warm house for the first time in a decade.
Massive thank you to Jack who came and swapped our old shower for a new one today! Arrived on time and was really quick, left our bathroom nice and tidy, like he’d never been. Even took his shoes off. JL Plumbing will be the first I call if I need anything again. Thank you!

So I'm editing again, Jack contacted me to explain the situation, he had an employee who was covering him whilst he was away with his family on a Christmas break and had trusted the employee to complete the job to the same high standards, unfortunately this wasn't the case and subsequently the employee was dismissed. Jack came out straighaway and resolved the issue without charge and couldn't apologise enough. He has truly turned this nightmare experience around and i will definitely use Jack again. (Below is not an accurate account of Jack or his personal work and is actually about a previous employee 👇🏽) Unfortunately having to edit my review from 5 star to 1. I have a couple businesses (Hairdressers) which i have used this company on a couple of occasions from changing taps to having emersions on cylinders changed. Each time they were great, pricier then most locale plumbers but efficient. They came out a few weeks ago and replaced the emersions but had to drain both tanks, which is normal however after the works were completed I noticed water still on the floor at the Base of the cylinder! I called to let them know and if they could could sort it to which they replied we'll send someone round, well no one ever turned up and after several messages sent and being ignored I had to find another plumber. And all makes sense why they ignored me now the cold water feed at the bottom of the tank had been damaged amd was leaking, unfortunately this is not something that can be fixed and the while cylinder needs to be replaced. I'm not putting the whole blame on there workmanship as the tanks are 10 years old and Basingstoke has extremely hard water so there may have been some level of erosion which contributed towards this but the plumber would've known that this has happened amd rather be transparent they just tried to ignore so my gripe is actually with there morals and professionalism. I didn’t as them to fix it for free I wasn't complaining at all I just needed it fixed as it was starting to ruin the floor. I've added a screen shot of our conversation for transparency.

Max arrived promptly, got to the root cause of the issue, and dealt with it with zero fuss. He explained what was going on at each step of the way, and left having solved the issue brilliantly. 5*! If I could give more stars then I would!! Called Jack at 13:45 and by 15:45 he had travelled to us, traced, accessed and fixed the leak we had from under our bath and into the living room. Other companies were asking us to wait a week but Jack went above and beyond to remedy it on the day. Affordable rates, professional service and very knowledgable guy! Superb. Our preferred plumber in the area, will always try and get Jack and his team to address any plumbing issues. Thorough, trustworthy and really nice to deal with. We’ve had Jack and his team help on a number of occasions, we’ve always been really happy with the work.
Jack said he could install a fat trap for us and we were convinced based on reviews that he could but we were so wrong. Not only did he install this incorrectly, which is completely inaccessible, he then promised to come round to show us how it can work, only to then ignore several messages. Had to come back after initial install as there was a leak. A complete and utter bodged job, £474. Waste of money. I now have to spend another £800 to get it removed, get the correct pipework in and have it re installed! Do not recommend at all. Added a photo for laughs as you can see it’s being held up a plastic box 😂
Had a leak in the bathroom in my new property. Didn't have anywhere to turn for assistance, so used Google to find someone local. So pleased I chose these guys. They were able to arrive next day and Bradley did a fantastic job. He was so helpful and took the time to explain what had gone wrong and how he was going to fix it. Once it was fixed everything was put back as it was and the bill of just over £200 including VAT and materials was very reasonable. Hopefully I dont have to use again but I will be sure to recommend to all friends and family. Thanks
JL Plumbers are honestly the nicest, most professional, and supportive tradespeople I’ve ever dealt with. They were incredibly responsive, arrived right when they said they would, basically dropped everything to help us when our water leak turned into chaos. What followed was apparently one of the toughest track and trace jobs they’ve seen in 15 years, and they handled it with total perseverance and care. Jack (the owner), Bradley, and Max were absolute legends - kind, calm, tidy, funny and reassuring throughout. They kept me informed every step of the way, liaised directly with our insurance and water providers, and put everything neatly back together when they finished. I genuinely can’t say enough good things about this team. They turned what could’ve been a total disaster into something manageable and stress-free. If we ever need plumbing support again, JL Plumbers will be my first call. Could not recommend them more highly!
We contacted Jack out the blue first thing on a Monday as both our toilets packed in on the same day. He sent two of his team round a few hours later and had the job done in a couple of hours. The lads were so careful, respectful and friendly, leaving everything spotless. Responsive, professional and all the rest. Highly recommend their services!
I had a water leak in the loft that was coming through the ceiling. Insurance company sent out an engineer. He looked at the job and said he needed to order special fittings because it was an old imperial plastic pipe. Fast forward one week and still no parts! I contacted JL on facebook. They sent an engineer the very next day and he fixed the leak in just over an hour! He was very courteous and polite. Highly recommended. Definitely use them again.

Highly recommended! No callout fees. Others were asking me to pay £70 just to come over and check! I needed to fix all 3 toilets in the house. The job was done very professionally. The plumber advised me how to request the money from the seller as I just bought the house. And they agreed to pay the full amount! I can't ask for more. Also a very friendly and nice person who immediately understood what needed to be fixed.
I needed to call a plumber after Curry's said they couldn't install washer dryer as valve was broken and needed to be replaced. I called JL Plumbing in the morning and a plumber arrived in the afternoon. He said the valve was fine and didn't need replacing. He also helped me with some other jobs. His name was Bradley and he restored my faith in tradesmen. He went above and beyond and I cannot thank him enough. Outstanding service. I would highly recommend this company.

I found out I had some form of leak through my Thames Water bill 261. 00 a month for 5 months for 2 people ....shocked is an understatement. Thames Water said that we needed a report from a verified plumber. I called JL Plumbing at approx 9a.m who were on another job. By the afternoon Jack was here...understanding of my shock he started on the checks straight away liaising with my husband who is a builder on the phone at all times. The investigation continues with my husband doing the initial work but Jack is always on the end of the phone if needed. He was polite and understanding of our dilemma....We would not hesitate to recommend Jack to other people.

Recently had a small leak under the kitchen sink. A guy came out the same day, within a few hours much to my relief. Sorted the problem quickly and reasonably priced! Especially for an emergency. Definitely recommend!
Called JL out as I was not getting hot water from a property I had just moved into. Guy came within a couple of hours which was great. He spent around 10 mins looking at the issue and diagnosed that I needed a new hot water tank, no issue, I asked him if he could provide a quote to replace and fit. Told me he’d need to get back to the office and would have something out to me later in the day. Next day comes and still nothing but I get a bill of £150 for the callout, I pay the bill and ask again for a quote, still no reply. Waste of time and money as I’ve now had to ask an other plumber to resolve the issue.
Found JL plumbing after looking for recommendations online. Excellent communication from start to finish, turned up on time and stayed till the job was finished. Absolutely brilliant. Called this morning in an absolute panic and was so relieved that Jack had time to come out to us. When he got here he was so professional and diagnosed the problem straight away and worked tirelessly to make sure it was fixed before he left! Engineer came out to fix a leaking toilet, claimed they fixed it but it continued to leak. After a few weeks they finally came back and said they would need to order a replacement part. Over a month later and still no fix. After chasing it turned out the plumber in our area had been fired and they had no one else covering the area. Over a year later and we still haven't received a refund for the failed original repair.

I contacted 5 companies as the boiler was leaking and it was damaging our side of the building. He was the only one who contacted me straight away and came out the same day. True, bit pricey for a couple of minutes job but I do appreciate that the part costs money and he had to drive to pick it up and back. Hopefully it will be okay and the leakage will stop.

Great service from JL. Had a leaking boiler and called them up to get it fixed. They gave me an expected time, called close to when they were due round to confirm and provided clear communication throughout. They quickly assessed the issue and informed me what was wrong. I needed two radiators replaced and which had already been taken off the walls for decorating. I was let down twice by plumbers who promised me they would turn up. As I was still without working radiators and the frosty weather had come along, I thought I'd call around and see if anyone could assist me. I called JL plumbing, and they came the same day and finished the job. Now my house is toasty warm, and I have peace of mind. As a woman on her own, I can't thank them enough for their speed and helpfulness. They called ahead to let me know they were coming and were respectful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend them.

I contacted JL Plumbing and connected with Jack who came out same day to attend our house on the 27th December (really was expecting to struggle without heating and water until the new year)! Jack called me with updates on the day of when to expect him to arrive and resolved our issue very quickly. My elderly dad had a bad leak in his kitchen one morning and it was gushing from the failed pipe work and flooding the floor. I called JL Plumbing and they prioritised the job and arrived within the hour. Managed to find and stop the leak quickly despite the very old pipe work and difficulty accessing the outside stopcock valve. Fantastic services and was very grateful for responding so quickly. Cistern was not working, called JL Plumbing and they were able to come out in the same day to sort it, which is very appreciated. They were polite and tidy in my house. Price for the callout was £150 - no idea if that’s a good price or not tbh but bear that in mind. Cistern was fixed quickly, although I had to do a bit of make good on my end as the front panel for my toilet unit was swapped over to make better room for the new cistern fitted. My score would be lower if it was not for how efficiently and speedily this was addressed. Excellent pick for an emergency bit of work.

Installation of digital shower and tap - Amazing service - we had so many failed attempts at plumbers coming round to find a solution for us for a digital shower and tap that no longer worked. However within 5 minutes of contacting JL Plumbing I received a response and Jack was able to quickly diagnose the problem and propose a solution to replace the shower and tap. He ordered the required parts and then arranged to come and install them as soon as they had been delivered. Excellent communication throughout, fast, efficient, reliable. Cannot recommend highly enough - we will definitely be using again in the future when needed.

Called JL Plumbing for what seemed to be a simple job - a blocked/leaky kitchen sink. It turned out to be a bit more complicated than that, and we ended up calling them back twice. Each time they came over quickly, and solved the issue fast. Very reasonable company and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

Called JL as I had a leaky kitchen tap. Jack came out in about half an hour and quickly identified the cause. He did his best to source replacement parts there and then but had to order them. Parts came the next day and Jack fitted them then. Very impressed with service and price and will definitely use JL again.

Terrible experience with this company - would not recommend them at all. 4 separate call outs over 1 week which was completely disruptive, would arrive hours later then they suggested, terrible communication from the team. The person they sent out to fix my boiler clearly had no clue what he was doing and spent most of his time on FaceTime to a friend asking for help. Though I wasn’t charged for the damage that they did to my boiler and the hours it took them to repair it - the inconvenience and stress it caused was ridiculous. Look elsewhere.
Outstanding service. Responded immediately and gave an eta and arrived even earlier, and as we only have one bathroom in our home it was exactly what we needed. Jack was very professional and got the stack pipe completely unblocked. Then everything was put back and finished off excellently, fair to say probably to a better standard than it was. Thoroughly recommend, and would definately use them again.

Hate to leave negative reviews to smaller companies but this story needs to be shared. Called out in October for a water softener install, started off with some things that I was unhappy about such as drilling holes through the outside wall 'by eye' rather than measuring it up neatly. Ripped off the skirting board and a large hole in the wall, holes made on the side of expensive kitchen sides looks like were expanded using a screwdriver. One of the holes to the wall was also not required as it was installed incorrectly. The whole job was basically rushed and done incorrectly. When it came to paying, the price was a fair bit higher than was initially made clear, also charged VAT on top of VAT (VAT which was already added on receipts for parts). I paid it and thought let's just move on and was going to leave it at that. Unfortunately that's not where it ends, someone came out for a warranty check on the appliance and advised me that it had been installed incorrectly, one of the issues which would void the warranty, so 3 changes had to be made. We would never have known until things went wrong had the work not been checked. Called them back to fix these, it took 3 months to finally have everything resolved after constantly having to chase as otherwise I would never hear back. Once came out after being hours late, although he knew what needed to be done he said he couldn't do it that day like initially agreed. Apparently the water softener needed a 'special water softener valve.' , which he needed to order specifically, which was untrue. Took several visits and calls over 3 months to rectify all of the issues. Everything was eventually resolved, but it should have been done right the first time so I wouldn't consider this a plus.

INCREDIBLE! I wouldn't look anywhere else but with Jack & team from here on. The expertise and service from the start was the best we've had. We had 4 plumbers in beforehand who did nothing but charge us money for nothing. Jacks team found the issue immediately and fixed it. Saved us from streaming water in our kitchen and an ever repeated damp patch in our living room. They did everything they could to identify the problem and found it, like noone else was able to. Jack sends someone out to us within minutes and supports us with next steps. Always checking, double and triple checking his work to ensure the fix is permanent. We have Jack on speed dial forevermore for any and every water issue from her on out. An escape of water is terrifying and can be catastrophic. We're so pleased to have found this team!

Highly recommended. Ive used JL Plumbing twice now and both times they have been excellent. The price has been as quoted. They have replaced a toilet cistern and a boiler condensate pump for me. I initially found them from a local town community facebook page where I requested a plumber to look at my non flushing toilet. JL plumbers offered their services. The whole interaction was excellent from the initial approach to the job being completed. For both visits they were on time, polite and tidy. They are now my go to plumbers. Highly recommended.

I found Jack on Google, called and within 2 hours he was out fixing a broken boiler for a tenant with no hot water or heating. He then fixed a broken toilet and shower at another property for me. Communication has been excellent, and all 3 jobs sorted with no fuss. Having had a nightmare finding anyone that answers the phone, let alone turns up on time, it’s been really refreshing!

Be very careful and make sure everyone knows what the problem is and how much it will cost. Called because the hot water tank was not retaining the heat and the overflow was constantly running and the tank refilling.. We thought the ball valve needed replacing. Jack arrived and said no the ball valve was fine. He said there was sediment in the tank and the immersion element needed replacing. He did this took card details and went off. Next day the tank was leaking and the overflow was still running. Keiron came out sealed the joint which hadn't been done properly and replaced the ball valve. We paid about twice what we were casually quoted. We still haven't had any invoices for either visit. Make sure you get a written quote from this company.
What a brilliant, quick and professional service Jack just provided for me - from one call this afternoon he came out to the house as soon as he could, arriving at 6pm, solved the problem, whizzed off to get the part, came back, fixed it and left me with hot water working again by 8.30pm. Unless it is a planned job, you generally need a plumber in an emergency and I’ve had a few of those! Jack had been absolutely brilliant every time I’ve asked for help. From dealing with a water leak which was coming through my kitchen ceiling, to changing a flush on the toilet. Jack always squeezes you in to ensure you are dealt with quickly and efficiently. He is also a genuinely nice bloke!
