Geoff at Dereks Dysons gave us an excellent experience from email to dropping our Dyson of to him, taking me through the process of what ie I tailed in what he is going to do o the service, the price was reasonable to, workmanship was excellent, thank you Geoff, I will definitely recommend.
Our Dyson cycloneV10 was serviced by Geoff a few months ago and was excellent. Recently it appeared the trigger switch was faulty. I took it to the repair centre this morning and Geoff diagnosed a faulty battery securing lug. a replacement would be significant cost. Geoff proposed an easy fix that would work fine. There was no charge and the fix works perfectly.
I drove over to Dereks Dyson repairs with my Dyson in hand. Geoff was really helpful and put the old hoover through its paces, unfortunately the motor had gone. He was really helpful and for almost the price of the work needed he sold me a reconditioned newer version. Really kind and helpful, would highly recommend as an honest service.

We had our Dyson V10 serviced and cleaned by Derek’s Dyson Repairs. We found the process for booking the service straight forward. We dropped the machine off on a Friday and had it back as good as new the following Monday. Great service.
Derek was polite, friendly and very helpful. Despite having to send for a part, my hoover was repaired with in a few days. The cost remained the same as quoted. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

I phoned Dereks Dysons Repairs last night, was asked to bring in my Dyson V11 this morning. Was there at 08:30 when they opened. A failing motor was diagnosed and I accepted the quotation to fix it. By 09:32 I received a call that machine was fixed. Collected it. A new motor had been fitted and a new filter. Back home at 10:30. Service does not get better than this! I was delighted to discover the firm was local to me and on 23 December have the Dyson working again. I cannot recommend more highly. Thank you.
Geoff was very friendly and helpful. Gave me some very useful advice and refused to take any payment for it. I would certainly recommend him for no- nonsense, honest advice and repairs, and great customer service.
Geoff quickly diagnosed the problem with my V10 Dyson. The repair was done there and then, after Geoff had given me the (very reasonable) quote for a new seal unit. Polite, personable and professional, I would definitely recommend.

Geoff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I took my older, heavy, bulky upright Dyson in because it wasn't working and walked out with a refurbished cordless V11 which has completely changed my hoovering experience. When the head stopped working 3 months later, I took it back in and he exchanged it for a new one. In and out in 5 minutes; I'm a very happy customer.
Our 8 year old Dyson V10 was not sucking properly and the filter needed changing after an hour's use. After a service by Derek's Dysons, it looks and performs as new!

I had a problem with the electrical cable on my 20 year old upright Dyson vacuum cleaner, plus it needed a service. Found Derek's dysons online and contacted him with the problem, Derek was sooo helpful, said it wouldn't be a problem to replace the cable and service the vacuum cleaner. Collected after a few days and good as new now, very reasonable price too, always very friendly and professional. Works like new ! We have a cordless Dyson 10 and the trigger broke. We’d also replaced the filter a couple of times so tbh I was looking at a replacement .. but thought I’d just get Derek’s Dyson thoughts before I took the plunge. Who knew your Dyson can have a full MOT ?! Stripped down, full service, new filters (which I’d previously paid £75 for elsewhere) deep clean, sanitize !! .. all of that with a brand new trigger and fully tested for £140 It works like a dream now and even smells fresher ! .. we have two others I’ll be popping up at some point ! Dropped up on a Monday morning and collected Tuesday afternoon Thanks !

Called on Geoff on Tuesday 22nd April with Granddaughter’s Dyson not working received a diagnosis that a new motor was required which had to be ordered. On Thursday 24th April picked up the repaired Dyson. Excellent proficient service. Thank you

I had a problem with my Dyson DC 40, the brush roller was not spinning as it should or broken. Spoke with Geoff about it, dropped it off one day and got it back the next day. Would highly recommend Derek's Dysons. Geoff was very friendly and helpful. Also very reasonable, managed to fix the broken "bin" part rather than replace the whole thing. We had 2 broken parts fixed and also a service. Dropped the dyson in on Monday and got it back Wednesday looking and running like new.

Our V15 had been loosing suction for a while now. Booked into for a service quickly, dropped off the unit, and had a friendly chat with Geoff. Had an issue with battery on my Dyson, called and spoke to Geoff who said that he had battery in stock, he explained how to change the battery or for a small charge he could do it for me - which he did in a out 5 mins. Had an issue with my Dyson, mainly down to poor maintenance but Geoff did his best to try to get it working properly without the need to charge me. When our Handheld Dyson Animal broke, the work required was beyond my comfort level for DIY repairs. So I was glad to find Dereks Dysons fairly locally, meaning I wouldn't have to line James Dysons pockets any further than we already had. I was met by Geoff who is extremely accommodating and friendly and quickly diagnosed our problem, gave me a price and a promise it could be ready next day for a not unreasonable sum. We went ahead and as Geoff recommended, also included a complete strip down, filter and service too as it was indeed several years old and looking a bit worse for wear -and it was still ready next day. The machine came black gleaming and most importantly working like new again, and less than half the price of a new one so we are more than happy with the work as well as highly recommending Dereks Dysons to anyone who requires repairs to one of these machines.

Absolutely fantastic find, I thought I had to buy a new dyson v8 animal as it stopped working. A phone call and 24 hrs later back after full service at a third the cost of a new one. Why would you throw away when it can be sorted and comes back as good as new. Fantastic service and great to support local businesses.

Our V11 Dyson vacuum cleaner was intermittently cutting out. My wife had already decided we needed a new vacuum cleaner so Googled ‘repairs near me’. Derek’s number and address popped up. I gave him a call, he told me over over the phone that it probably needed a Service. I dropped the V11 off at his house, in less than 24 hours, all done and ready to go. Excellent service, thank you Derek. My wife was extremely pleased with the revitalised Dyson.
I would not hesitate to recommend Dereks Dyson Repairs . Our Dyson appeared To be broken and I phoned Dereks and we arranged for it to be collected a few hours later . I am sorry that I forgot to ask for his name, but this lovely man arrived promptly as arranged ,and ,believe it or not ,he was able to fix the problem on my doorstep ,and free of charge too. !!!! Had a poorly Dyson Ball2 vacuum, googled repairers around Chichester and found Derek. Checked out the good reviews, called him, took my vacuum same afternoon and on viewing it saw it was very blocked needed a full service (5 years old and not had a service or washed filters!) quoted a fair price and was ready the next day…. SUPERB service thank you … now I have a clean serviced strong suction vacuum! No fuss, friendly helpful and professional guy. Well recommended! 5 stars deserved!

What fantastic service. In less than 24 hours our DC24 has been fixed and I have Dysoned my front room already. Derek has replaced a motor and brush assembly for less than Dyson would have in the day. Dyson no longer supports DC24 so Derek should be your first port of 🤙 call. Keep his number safe.
Good efficient service. When I thought I’d found a fault an engineer came out to me within the hour. There was no fault.
My 5 year old Dyson had died. Googled mobile Dyson repairs & Derek's details appeared. Rang Derek. The following morning my machine was collected. I received a surprisingly reasonable estimate in a few hours & the Dyson returned to me by 4pm that day. Fully serviced, refurbished, cleaned & filters changed. Working like new. Superb.

I took my Dyson to Derek as it was losing power but it is quite old so I wasn't sure what could be done. He called me really quickly to let me know what he thought and was so honest regarding the cost to fix it, balanced with the age of it. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and I recommend him 100%.
