Broken Dishwasher….. called Beko and they attempted to sell me a repair or plan ….. Despite the dishwasher being six years old. Discussed with Colin who was HONEST !! advised me not to repair and invest but to replace . He could have charged me a repair or call out but didn’t . Further he recommended me another local company who have agreed to attended and install a new machine today ….. Amazing service, honest and highly recommended!! Colin was professional, efficient and reasonably priced. He visited on the same morning I called him, fixed my dishwasher and clearly explained what was wrong with it and how to prevent the fault in the future. Highly recommend him!

I’ve just had a wonderful very polite man on the line from Nelsons I rang about my fridge although they don’t do fridges he’s help me test my fridge to make sure everything is ok and it is I can’t thank Nelson’s enough no charge very helpful brilliant advice he’s saved me lots of money, my advice is if you have a problem with washing machine electric cookers phone Nelson’s the reason I phoned in the first place is because of my late mother she always said if you get a problem with an appliance ring NELSONS
Colin was amazing honestly can’t thank him enough! We have a dinner party Sunday and our oven randomly stopped working Thursday night. Called around a few places and they was all booked up as it’s a Friday. Called Colin and he was here within 50 mins an even came before the expected time. Oven had an issue that most engineers wouldn’t even look at due to it being wired incorrectly, Colin disconnected the wires fixed the issue and replaced the component we needed. Honestly can’t think him enough he was so kind, explained everything and really looked after us with the labour charge. He doesn’t even work Fridays but still came! Thank you so much 🙏

Honestly if I could rate more than 5 stars I’d give this man and company all the stars in the world! Colin my Christmas miracle! My oven broke on Thursday and my insurance company came to fix yesterday but didn’t have the part and told me it wouldn’t be here until the new year! I phoned Colin crying asking if he had the part I needed that I could buy and try fix myself as right on top of Christmas funds are extremely short especially having 3 children! This life saver of a man has come out and fixed my oven for me and saved our Christmas! Thank you so much Colin I will eternally be grateful for your kindness and help
I called him up to see if he could assist with an issue we had with the washing machine on our boat (was tripping the rcb as soon as it was plugged in) and he spent a good amount of time telling me what to check and how to check it even though the washing machine make was not one he serviced. Excellent service and can not recommend enough.

My electric oven wouldn't turn on. Colin was brilliant, gave me some pointers over the phone, which I had already unsuccessfully tried. I have been using Nelson Domestic Repairs for around 20 years and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Colin has repaired my dishwasher, tumble dryer, fridge freezer and washing machine in the past, and more recently my trusty Rangemaster oven. He always answers his phone immediately and always visits either the same day or the next. He is a lovely, friendly, very knowledgeable, honest guy. Great work ethic, clean and tidy, professional and expert in his field. Best of all he loves my Dog! His prices are very fair and comparable, and when he couldn't fix my tumble dryer he didn't even charge me for call out. I highly recommend Nelson Domestic Repairs for all electrical appliances.

Cannot fault Nelson Domestic Repairs who I have used previously and each time received excellent service. This time I called due to a fault with my cooker and was informed I would receive a call back confirming day and time of call-out. I did in fact receive a call back informing me that they were on there way and my cooker was fixed promptly. I was impressed with the service and was informed they didn't want to leave me without a cooker over the weekend! Fantastic service and will definitely recommend.
Really poor customer service. Called out as oven was not working, the fan had stopped. Told no call out charge, yet charged £55, but did not fix the oven. Would definitely not recommend or use again. Still left with no oven and charged labour, before we had decided to go ahead and fix it or order a new oven. Spoke to gent on phone, very defensive. Avoid!

Colin was amazing today - Our oven had broken just after xmas and the insurance company let us down today. I rang Colin to see if he could help and the oven was all repaired and working within an hour of our call. He is polite, concientious and a very competent tradesman which is hard to find nowadays. Mr Nelson is truly amazing, really helped us out as our old oven was going wrong on 18th dec, we ordered a new one but it needed hard wiring in and with xmas fast approaching, we needed our oven! Phoned me back within 30 mins of putting request online. Spoke about my mum’s issue with her oven dial and advised me that it is something that I could easily fix and pointed me to a website to order parts and what to do. Didn’t want to charge my mum for a call out when not required - really appreciated the honesty.....what a lovely gentleman. Thank you...
Called at 5.30pm on 23rd as let down by another repair team. Engineer arrived just before 9am on Christmas Eve and the oven was fixed by 9.30am! Incredible service.

10/10 called this morning as my oven broke last night the element said he’d be round between 11-2 spot on 11am and all done and dusted would certainly recommend this company 100% and affordable price too thank you certainly recommend to friends and neighbours.
