My elderly mother lives in Stamford and has used the services of UTS Electrical twice in the past month. She was so pleased with the quality of their service that I wanted to leave a review. 1. My mother was having problems with the hinges on her oven door. She rang a "handyman" who advertised locally via flyers and he told her that, if she ordered the new hinges (2 x £50!) he would attend and fit them for another £150! My mum thought this seemed exorbitant so she spoke on the phone to Kenny, the owner of UTS Electrical. He visited her the same day, effected a repair in less than 10 minutes and insisted on charging my mother nothing, a wonderful gesture of goodwill. 2. A few weeks later my mother was experiencing problems with her washing machine and rang Kenny again to discuss the problem. He advised her as to the likely cause of the problem and the simple remedy. My mother was able to follow his advice and get her washing machine back in service within a few minutes. I cannot thank Kenny enough for his wonderful customer service. We're all so quick to criticise the often poor service provided by large retailers and it's great to be able to praise a small, independent, family-owned business when they show how things really should be done. I cannot praise UTS Electrical highly enough and I would definitely recommend them to others. I know from my mother that Kenny is experiencing some health issues currently and I wish him all the best and, hopefully a speedy recovery.
1st class service. Found out what was wrong very quickly and had the parts for our cooker in stock. I hope we don't need them again but if we do then we will have no hesitation in using them. 10/10

Used UTS for many years. Most often they have the part you need or they can get hold of it. If they can't there's no mucking about, they'll just tell you. Sometimes you might even get pointed to where you might get some joy

Fast, efficient and good value for money. Supplying, fitting and testing a new motor for my Dyson upright cost less than £60. The Dyson was delivered at 9am, I received a telephone diagnosis and quotation by 10.30 and the machine was ready for collection by 2pm the same day. Outstanding.
