Thankyou to everyone at All About Gas. Left a message on their site this morning about having my gas cooker disconnected and capped off. A lovely lady phoned me within an hour, I told her what I needed doing and where I was and asked what the cost would be. She quoted me between £95 and £115 depending on how long it took and said someone could do it between 2pm and 5pm TODAY!! Amazing service! I booked the appointment then and there. The engineer phoned to say he would be with me within half an hour, he came in 20 mins. Did the job, checked there were no leaks, either in the kitchen or at the meter cabinet and even offered to take a meter reading for me because my meter cupbard is very inaccessible and my smart meters dont work, too far apart!!!!. The bill was only £84 too, bonus!! Anthony was very proffessional, friendly and helpful. A company that gives great service, not an easy find these days. Would recommend them to anyone. Well done to your team.

Needed boiler checked as wasn’t working. Receptionist Nicola was great and tried to see if problem was fixable with a bit of over the phone advice so spoke to engineers re problem. Needed a home visit and James had to sort out a few snags but the end result was I had hot water and heating. Team really knowledgeable with honest suggestions about what was workable. Will be using this team again.

A first rate installation of a new combi boiler and an overhaul of the existing radiators with new thermostats and 4 replacement radiators. From first visit and quote, through the plumbing to final testing, All About Gas were excellent and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We had our very old warm air heater and water tank replaced with a combi unit. We were very impressed by the team, they worked out the best option for our layout and best positions for radiators. The work was done over three days. They arrived on time and cleared everything away before leaving each day. They kept us informed and explained how the system and thermostat works. They even offered to moved any furniture back in place. Tidied and hoovered before finishing. The work was carried out in a professional and efficient manor and all the team were polite and respectful and we would highly recommend using All About Gas

Work was fine (only removed a radiator and capped it off) but 5 minutes in the bloke took a personal call to discuss his kids and football and then opened my bathroom window as wide as he could for 'ventolation' We hadn't had heating for 2 days, the house was already unbelievably cold but matey thinks it's fine because it'll all be back on soon. If it's not your house, ask before you touch anything. Half expected him to jump in the shower when he was done

Came first time during the pandemic, only fixed one problem (leak) and ignored the other (broken hot water). Was told face to face by the plumber they didn't know they needed to fix the hot water. Odd because the receptionist that spoke my partner on the phone mentioned hot water twice, and when we called to tell her it had not been fixed this time, she seemed surprised. Had to come a second time anyway as the leak they fixed caused an almighty loud noise to come from the boiler (water pressure building up). The hot water was again meant to be fixed this visit but he couldn't get the element off and told us they would contact us after Christmas and we would be without hot water for the holidays, its been a month by now. I am unsure if anyone was charged for this visit as it is our landlord who is paying, however if it were me I would expect not to be charged as he only fixed the mistake they created last visit. There was no contact for the entire month of January until they finally called us and we arranged a THIRD date for the fixing. They called us up the evening before to say the part wasn't even there yet and they needed to reschedule. I am at a loss as to why it has taken so long to order this part when it should have already been ordered in time for the SECOND date when the water was meant to be fixed. My partner has now wasted three days of his holiday and will need to use another for the FOURTH date. We are up to 2 and a half months from when we originally put in the call for it to be fixed.

I had a new boiler installed with all the necessary flushing, new rad thermostats, etc. The work was completed in a day and not a bit of mess to clear up. Well done to the All About Gas team.

All About Gas diagnosed problem in 15 minutes but did not have part on the van. I was quoted £140-£160 to complete work which included 'call-out' fee for the first visit. I later decided not proceed and had work (visit to diagnose and return visit to fix) completed by another company for £85.

March 14 2018 – All About Gas, Havant, PO9 1BU My Vaillant Eco Plus 831-R1 boiler decided to pack up around 17:00 on March 13 – yeah, the 13th lol! Having checked it out, the front panel read F62, which upon looking it up I find it refers to the Controller PCB (Printed Circuit Board) – expensive…!!! My initial thought was to phone British Gas the next morning. They had not one of the 6000 engineers available and then I looked for local gas people. All About Gas Ltd features quite highly among the reviews, so I gave them a call. I spoke to whomever answered the phone and they said they would do their very best to get a guy out before close of play that day – it was now March 14 of course! True to their word, Ben turned up around 16:00’ish and he had a replacement board with him. The board was replaced and all was working fine again but, Ben didn’t just say thanks very much and leave. He continued to run a few tests for this and that and most importantly, for emissions, despite this being a sealed unit (boiler). I was impressed because many of the gas/electric people you call out do the bare necessities and charge the earth…!!! In the end the charge was £266, which, having looked up the prices of the board beforehand, I thought quite reasonable. An excellent job done…!!! PS. It is my intention to get all About Gas in to service my boiler come September time and then on a yearly basis as I found their work and attitude extremely professional.

We needed a complete repiping downstairs as well as a boiler service. The guys did an excellent job - better than we could have hoped considering the hallway Amtico floor could not come up. Professional, polite and tidy. Highly recommended.
