Steve visited asap to check our washing machine as he was aware of our family circumstances, that required the washing machine to be working immediately. Just fantastic service. Having been messed about by two national companies masquerading as a local service, I found Domestic Appliance Services. (Incidentally, both those national services advertise 'same day or next day' - both offered an appointment in one weeks' time! And one tried to sell me insurance that would have worked out at 7 times the price I paid DAS!!) Steve was here within the hour, fixed the problem and ran a test cycle. Done. Dusted. Highly, highly recommended.

Very impressive service - booked online which was a simple process. Appointment date and time options, which was real nice. Normally you just get the one option if you are lucky. This meant I could book an appointment without taking time-off. I should also point out that my broken oven was fixed on the first visit in less than 30 minutes. Carried a full range of spare parts. Modern booking systems with good old fashioned repair skills. Hard to find companies like this who really know what they are doing!! Many thanks

I chose this company on the many years experience and great reviews. I was able to have an appointment the same day. Both appliances were looked at and I was made aware of the issues with each one which were clearly explained to me. The tumble dryer was fixed quickly and I was shown how to prevent further problems. Great service all round. Contacted this morning after 9:00 over the phone. Gave a brief description of what was happening with the oven (I suspected the heating element for the oven had packed in). Said he could see us today. With a phone call prior to confirm that someone would be in, Steve came and replaced the element, checked that the thermostat wasn’t also the culprit, tested everything and had it done and dusted in under an hour. Friendly chap and also gave us a bit of advice about our, quite frankly useless, washer-dryer. Cost £80.00 and paid via bank transfer. Would recommend.

Can't fault the service. Fault was diagnosed almost straight away. Replacement part required to be ordered. Definitely value for money because I didn't have to buy a new washing machine. He is very busy, so only criticism would be I had to phone him for updates, but very happy, I now have a working washing machine again

I was recommended to this company as we had a fault with our Bosch warming draw. A gentleman came told us the heating element had stopped working. He informed me he would get back to me with a price for a new element and a price to replace the complete draw. I paid him for his time and since then I have heard nothing two days later I sent an email for an update, still no reply. We have now sorted the problem by other means. We must have drawn the short straw as I could never recommend this company. I will never deal with them again and I would advise others to be very cautious. Not a reliable company to deal with be warned.

Our oven stopped working yesterday during me cooking the kids dinner. My husband huffed and puffed and was a bit reluctant to call anyone out, he thought it would be too expensive. He started looking at brand new cookers cookers online, I was determined to save us a few quid here. I found Steve via a recommendation on Facebook and used his live chat function on his site to ask about my repair, I was given a rough price but it worked out the low end of his quote ( £40 + £25 for element) Steve arrived today on time (and sent a text when he was on the way) also Steve adhered to Covid guidelines by wearing a mask etc My cooker was up and running in no time just in time for dinner. Very pleased indeed, I've kept his details as I won't think twice about using Domestic Applince Services again. Thanks very much

Our dishwasher heater stopped working, I phoned Domestic Appliances and spoke to a man called Steve he came round and found the fault ordered the part, came back and fitted it. All back and working now. He is a very pleasant man and very reliable, would highly recommend to anyone who has an appliance broke down he’s prices are also very reasonable.

I called Steve one morning to explain that my elderly mum was having problems with her spin dryer. My mum is 91 and quite nervous about people coming to the house..... although still very insistent on doing her own hand washing! Steve completely understood the situation with my mum and could not have been more caring or more thoughtful. I don’t live near my mum, but Steve texted me to let me know exactly what what happening. He went to visit her just a few hours after my call and resolved the problem for her. She was thrilled!.... and told me what a lovely man he was! I cannot recommend him enough and will certainly call on him again if my Mum ever needs help. Thank you so much Steve.
