Stephan was very quick to respond to my call and arranged to visit within a couple of days. He diagnosed the problem quickly and, after ordering the required parts, returned just a couple of days later to complete the repair. He was polite and respectful of my home. He fully explained how to use the machine for the first few washes to ensure the repair bedded in. The fee charged was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend him.

I used Dorset Appliance Repair twice for my Sage coffee machine, the first time was when I unboxed my machine from storage which hadn’t been used for 4 years, Stefan was very concerned it could be an expensive repair for me as it did not start to give him an idea of what it could be, but he got running due to a faulty relay. Then a week later it leaked everywhere due to a plastic tee joint becoming brittle, once again repaired and up running. Good service and I would recommend him.

Do not approach. Very aggressive man. Filament in our grill went. Had this guy come round scan the oven brand, find two options (within 2 minutes) (and I would of been happy to even share that info without having to make the journey). I said I need to talk to my wife about and he started demanding £40 for a call out fee which was not shared at any point. After refusing to pay that as that is totally unreasonable IF NOT TOLD ABOUT IT, he got very shirty storming out of the house being incredibly rude. If I had just had a moment to chat to my wife I would have booked them. But my goodness. UPDATE FROM REPLY: Do not trust this reply. No. Professional repair companies do not charge a call out fee as standard, but if it was mentioned I would have been very happy to pay. It was not in anyway mentioned and I could have simply provided the model and had already communicated the issue. So it was not a call out. Rudeness. Both my wife and my mother was appalled at the behaviour. You didn't wave the fee, you simply stormed off, hurling rude claims. I have not met such an entitled, arrogant and disappointing tradesman in my life. I have since heard from two others of the same effect as to my experience with this person. Again, I do not recommend approaching in anyway.

Very knowledgeable. Was able to diagnose the problem quickly and order the replacement part. I like that he gave worst case scenario and the potential cost but actually came in significantly less! So was a good surprise. Very good at communicating when he would come. Definitely recommend him. You can see he works really hard and cares about his job.

Having used Stefan on many occasions after repairing the seemingly unrepairable, this is not the case. My belief is that if he can’t fix it, it can’t be fixed. I always call him first and have never been disappointed. Oh yes, and a really nice guy…👍

Made it look easy to replace my washing machine door seal. I had looked at videos to do it myself. I'm glad I didn't do it. It looks simple but there are some simple mistakes that a novice makes that then it becomes hard. Much better to get a professional to do it. Thanks 👍

Stephen attended to troubleshoot a Gaggenau wine fridge not cooling. Diagnosed leak of cooling gas. He said needed to take away to dismantle and repair which he did right away. Returned a week or so later having identified two leaks and repaired them by brazing aluminium (quite rare skill!). Reinstalled and all working fine. Very sensible price too. Amazing service!
Phoned up at about 15.00 to request assistance with washing machine displaying an error code that wouldn't go away. He called me back within 5 minutes, listened to my description of the problem & offered to turn up after 17.00 ie A MERE 2 hours after my initial call Stefan turned up as promised, fixed the problem, kept me fully informed throughout and washing machine is now working properly. Extremely reasonable pricing too I really recommend this guy

My fairly new washing machine kept sounding an alarm as hard water had affected the water flow. I phoned Dorset Appliance Repairs and Stefan provided an excellent service, he came out within 24 hours of calling, kept me updated with text messages. He then ordered the relevant part, fitted it and now my machine is working. What a great service, I recommend!

Stephan came to fix our dishwasher and was so lovely. He found out the issue straight away which was something stuck in the filter. He explained how to maintain the dishwasher so issues like this wouldn't happen again and showed me how to put the skirting board back. He was very polite, professional and fixed the issue very quickly. Would highly recommend.

Called Stefan Tuesday afternoon, he came to look at our faulty washing machine the next day. After some troubleshooting he advised due to the age of the device and fault it would be cheaper to get a new one. Great service, and a nice guy as well, would def recommend.
TIME WASTER! Scheduled an appointment on a Friday, to come the following Tuesday between 10am - 2pm. However, he never showed up! I sent a text on the Tuesday morning to confirm they were still coming, no reply. I tried calling, no answer. We were waiting in all day for him to show but he never did! Absolute waste of time.

I called Dorset Appliance Repairs on behalf of my elderly parents, whose cooker just packed up unexpectedly. I called and spoke with Stefan in the afternoon and booked for him to come and take a look between 10am-2pm the next day. Stefan obviously appreciated my parents were a little vulnerable as on inspection he called me to explain the issues and recommendations. Turns out the cost of the repair for their old oven meant it would make more economical sense just to get a new oven which my parents were happy with. I spoke with Stefan at 2pm and agreed the replacement of the oven. At 3pm he called me back to let me know he'd picked up the oven and was on his way back to my parents to fit it. By half past 3 I had another call from to Stefan to say it had been fitted! Super super impressed with how quickly he got it all sorted. Having had previous oven issues myself, and having them take over a week to get resolved, Stefan clearly goes above and beyond for his customers. He was really friendly and responsive, like the updates by text to confirm the appointment and notification when he's on his way and the way he handled the situation with my vulnerable parents by keeping me in the loop throughout was brilliant. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use him in the future. Thanks again.

No response from phone or internet having tried both twice. There may be a good reason why this is so, but it is still very poor customer service. Needless to say I have gone elsewhere for my emergency freezer repair 👎

Stefan is excellent. He answered our email promptly even though it was a Sunday (why is it these things always happen at weekends) He was punctual and professional. He diagnosed the problem with our fridge freezer very quickly and explained that NO repair was needed, just a thorough defrost as the exceptionally warm humid weather had simply iced the mechanism up! An honest tradesman is a rare find and we have no hesitation in recommending Stefan, definitely keeping his number on speed dial.
