A local plumber strongly advised me to scrap the whole system and start all over again with a new boiler. H2-ecO replaced my broken down gas boiler central heating system with this air source heatpump one around four years ago now. As you can see, I have a very ordinary and quite old little terraced cottage with a little yard out the back. There is this outside unit plus a hot water tank, a control unit and a few other components in the airing cupboard upstairs. They sized the system beautifully. The central heating now circulates warm rather than hot water, but the new larger radiators are more than up to the job. Even on a very cold winter's day the system heats the house to my target temperature within an hour. I have the hot water tank set to a higher temperature and it achieves that comfortably too. The installation team were very professional. I was particularly impressed by the standard of the electrical wiring that they did; upgrading some of my existing installation where it seemed like the right thing to do. Yes, it was quite expensive, but that meant they could afford to do a good job. I haven't had any trouble with the system at all. I think my energy costs are not a great deal different than they used to be when I was using gas (ignoring the general price rises). Electricity is more expensive per kWh but the heatpump uses energy better than 3 times more efficiently so it more or less balances out.

We accepted a Gov grant for Air Source & solar panels. Why this two week project had to be done in mid winter is beyond me. The company communicated well and all staff From surveyor, plumbers to electricians and S.panel fitters (about five lads), I found them all polite efficient and tidy (plumbers get a 4 here - sorry lads but don’t leave rags hanging around 😜). The Co. even had a youngish war hero working for them (none of the blokes colleagues seemed to know his background). Super chap. Documentation and ongoing support etc seems great. Despite the ditching of our fossil fuel the fires are raging in the States will no doubt continue to do so. All seems doomed according to the BBC. Weather, it’s a bummer. I’ll miss the oil but not the ugly tank. It was warmer with oil and not so fiddly to get a reasonably comfortable temp. One is left to tweek rads temp’s and water flow oneself which is normal. Fingers crossed we’ll save a mint on the sunshine.

An outstanding company to deal with. They fitted my ashp 4 years ago. I fitted an energy monitoring system to see how the heat pump was behaving and could see it was recycling a lot. Dan the chief engineer came round several times to help resolve this. (We eventually ripped out the third party thermostat and TRVs and replaced with the proprietary controller).

We have an unusually shaped roof and wanted the largest system we could fit. Others who had quoted just wanted us to take a standard package. Mike "got it" immediately and designed a system that works very well. Installed very tidyly with the minimum of fuss we have had no problems and 4 years down the track it has performed better than predicted. We have had quaeries along the way which have been answered very quickly. We have panels and a battery which made a huge difference to the amount of energy purchased. What a fantastic company. I first contacted them when the company that installed a solar thermal system stopped trading and my system was leaking. They came immediately and sorted it for me, at a reasonable price. Based on this when I wanted to install an air source heat pump they were the first company I called for advice. Again they came out quickly, together we decided on the best system and where it was going to be installed. It was ordered and fitted in a timely manner. The whole process was simple and not at all stressful. H2Eco fitted my panels 10 years ago. Cost just over £6000 to include the American panels, the uprated optimisation and inverters, and also the immersun diverter. I have earns just over £600 a year from the FIT, and saved at least the same from using the spare power when sunny. Only had a fuse blow twice, both times it was fixed quickly for free.

Had our air source heat pump installed in July 2020. H2-eco did a fantastic job, and the system has worked perfectly ever since. We did have a problem with the pressure valve on the buffer tank, but that was replaced during the service. The only annoying thing is that we have never been able to monitor the system on the phone app. We were promised that it would be looked at, but that doesn't seem likely to happen. Can't complain, got the full £10k grant, mainly thanks to the company's support. It's difficult to say what the running costs are against the old gas/electric setup. This is due to the energy company cancelling our electric account rather than the gas !! Took months to sort out, and with OVO buying out SSE, we ended up with £2.5k of interest free credit. All said and done we would recommend H2-eco and the heat pump system.

We had two solar arrays installed 10 years ago. Had I had not previously been involved with the local authority in solar energy we would probably never had considered it. The installation has probably been the best investment we have ever made in what the generation has saved and continues to do with the export income received. We got in touch with H2-ecO after a review of the village hall by Low Carbon Dorset regarding a more efficient way forward, and we wanted to use a local company if possible. We have been very pleased with them at every stage of selecting the correct system, installation, and maintaining the system. We first installed an air-source heat pump to replace an old oil boiler system, with additional heating in the main hall supplemented by air-to-air heat pumps. The air-to-air heat pumps can also provide air conditioning. Later we had them install solar panels. Both technologies were recommended by Low Carbon Dorset. We have no problem in recommending H2-ecO for your renewable energy requirements.

The professional, friendly, and knowledgeable team at H2-Eco engaged with us from the beginning of our switch from oil heating to all electric. They designed and installed our solar array, supplied and fitted our Tesla Powerwall, and designed the upgrades needed to swap out our oil boiler for an air source heat pump. They also helped with applications for FIT and RHI payments. The bottom line for us is that our energy costs are now less than £500 a year, and we'll have paid off the capital expense within 7 years of the installation. H2Eco have installed our Solar PV 6 years ago, a heat pump 3 years ago and corrected an awful battery install this year by another company. I should have got them to do the battery install too!! Fantastic company, good ethics and strive to do the best installs. Very popular - so very busy which sometimes delays their responses. Well worth any wait. They also did a fantastic 300 panel install on our church roof 4 years ago which included installing safety railing. Last year saved them about £17k on the electricity bill!! Back next week to correct some minor issues - mostly caused by a 3rd party walking on panels etc. I also should mentioned that for our initial install, Mike was the only person from all the other companies quoting who knew more than me - and I'd done a lot of research. Gave me a lot of confidence. They even let me know there was room for another panel when they came to do the install.

The survey and quote for the solar panels was carried out swiftly and comprehensively. The detail that was provided was understandable from a lay-mans point of view and reassuring. The execution of the work was swift and thorough with no waste left anywhere. The aftersales service on this occasion was good with staff answering calls quickly. However, I have experienced difficulty with the My Solar Edge app recently and I did have to push H2Eco to get this issue resolved. Solar Edge did not exactly go out of their way to resolve the problem pdq on this occasion and I was disappointed with the response from both parties as it did not reflect what I had experienced previously.

In March 2014, Mike and his team installed 3.5 Kw of panels on our bungalow roof. The install team were very efficient, tidy and courteous. In 10 years we have not had one single problem with the installation, and we are now considering the addition of a battery to the system. Following our installation, I arranged for H2-ecO to install a 10kW solar ssystem on our community hall, followed by two air-source heatpump installations, all of which was installed and commissioned with the expected professionalism! Highly recommended.

We had some initial problems with our heat pump installation, but these were because we combined it with an underfloor heating system. The problems were mainly with the people doing the underfloor part of the system, and the systems not being designed to work well together. Mike from H2ecO did all the math to calculate the running levels for the heat pump to work with the thickness of the flooring - he must have got it correct, because our lounge is lovely and warm in the winter. H2ecO were great. Their staff managed to get the system to work in spite of the conflicting demands of two systems that didn't talk well together. They were also - a big point to note - very helpful after the installation was complete, when we had some teething problems. We've now had our heat pump for nearly five years. Working well, keeps the house lovely and warm and does the hot water as well. I'd recommend H2ecO to anyone (and have). Two of my friends now have heat pumps installed by them. PS. H2ecO also do our annual maintenance check.

We have 20 Solar Panels, a converter and Battery supplied by H2Eco We converted a bungalow, and H2Eco was involved from the start and the installation team can not be faulted, as the after service. Price was not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. That includes design, quality and workmanship etc. we are happy I would recommend (and at least 2 other properties followed our recommendation) of H2Eco as the go-to one-stop service provider for alternative energy solutions

I was very happy with my experience of H2-ecO. They installed 12 rooftop PV panels, an inverter and two Tesla batteries at our holiday home 3 years ago, and did a professional job throughout. We found H2-ecO a highly professional and knowledgeable company. System has now been in place for 10 years and apart from a couple of panels being replaced under guarantee the system has been very reliable and delivered on performance and cost saving and feed in tariff payments. We are now very close to the system paying for itself. The installation was managed very professionally with minimal impact and was very neat in appearance. We also had the solar edge hot water appliance fitted which means we can switch our gas boiler off during the summer months.

In June 2023, H2-ecO installed solar panels on our roof along with an EDDI that heats our water if there is excess power. Right now (July) the solar is generating 30-40kWh per day; this is taking care of all our electrical needs (including charging the Electric Car!) and totally heating our water, and then what's left gets sold back to the grid (typically 20-30kWh a day) @ 15p/kWh (Octopus Energy rate) - so right now, Octopus are paying us! The install was brilliant, the guys who came were professional and the handover was well executed. We could not be happier.

H2-Eco couldn't have been more professional. Every thing happened when they said it would, I was kept informed of what was happening, cables were routed very tidily and the panels actually look good on the roof. I'm also extremely pleased with the Solaredge PV system, and it's monitoring software. We did have a minor problem a week or two after commissioning the system, but this was swiftly resolved by the local H2-Eco engineer.

Mike and Sue were brilliant. Mike commissioned our system about 4 years ago and gave great advice on the system itself plus what the installers/builders needed to complete to ensure the system was as efficient as possible. He also gave good advice on how to surround the external unit as it was in the middle of our garden and we wanted to make it as inconspicuous as possible. Sue talked me through the forms to get our grant which I would not have been able to do on my own as some of the questions were a bit obtuse. I would thoroughly recommend this company for anything air source heat related

We have had our system in place for 8 months and it has performed even better than the assessment that Ash did for us. We haven't used any gas since the end of April(the Edi diverter works perfectly and apart from a few teething problems in the first weeks(mostly down to our in house internet signal). the system has performed beautifully.
