As always, a very professional approach to work on my Skoda Octavia. Previously, I had a VW Passat and Paul did the work on that in a very similar and professional manner. He is my first contact for air con issues.

Awful customer service - the engineer that came out to diagnose was brilliant but following his visit it went down hill. I had to request the follow up quote of which the email just contained the quote and nothing to say are you happy and can we book you in for that repair. So I replied to the quote and asked about a repair day and also the quote didn’t include the £69 diagnosis fee rebate as promised by the engineer with the repair. The reply email I got was it did, there was no evidence or detail in the quote of it. I had to follow up with another email on the website asking for a repair date and I received an email saying I’ll get back to you with some dates. There is a date expiry of the quote I was given which is a laugh as that will be out dated if the ever come back to me with those dates. Thanks auto kool for telling me what’s wrong and charging me for it but not giving the option of being able to repair it. I would not advise this company, want the easy money of diagnosing the problem but won’t put in the work to repair it and will quite happily leave the customer with no way of being able to repair it.

There's a reason this firm has such a high review score: they're on-time, knowledgeable, and carry out a much higher quality service than many of the local garages offering AC maintenance.

Fantastic service. Well informed of expected time on site via advance text message. Issue diagnosed within minutes which always suggests great knowledge of air con systems. To confirm a full test was carried out checking all aspects if the system for leaks, a simple run down of the findings and a clear cost to remedy was agreed. I was kept up to date via phone call at all milestones of the repair and was left with a much cooler car! Many thanks Auto-Kool for your fast and quality work! Have recommended out already!

Having used Auto-Kool previously and being satisfied with the work carried out I called them again to service the air conditioning in two cars. The engineer arrived within the time frame and completed the work efficiently and successfully. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Well just a rubbish experience. Had them out to diagnose the issue with my aircon and paid for that service. They provided a quote to repair the aircon and week and a half later I emailed acceptance of their quote. Didn't hear from them, emailed again. Still didn't hear from them. Text messaged them on the number I had many texts from them on, still no reply. Tried phoning them numerous times and they just ignore the calls. So wanted to proceed with the repair but they clearly aren't interested in the business. So zero customer service and zero for repairs since they cant or wont do it. Try someone reputable instead and save yourself the time wasting.

I recently moved to the Colchester area and needed to get the AC sorted on my 2017 Nissan Juke. The positive reviews led me to Auto-Kool. Great communication throughout the booking process, and they confirmed the day before. Paul arrived exactly when he said he would (having actually checked with me to see if he could bring the job forward a couple of hours). Paul was friendly, professional and thorough, and explained exactly what he was going to do. He allowed me to observe throughout, which was great because I learned a few things! I got some really helpful tips and advice on how to keep the system working at optimal levels. The result? My barely functioning AC now creates polar conditions! Really excellent and honest service from a very experienced professional. Cannot recommend highly enough, and would definitely use their services again!

Highly recommend, I sent an email in as our car has had its A/C recharged five times and the leak is undetectable, asked the question can anything be done and it was, Auto-Kool said they have a professional sealer that can be added so I agreed and had it recharged again.. arrived when promised and a excellent job was done… hopefully in 6 months time it’ll still be working… only time will tell.. however being June it’ll be icy cold for the summer. Great experience 👍🏼A++++

What great people to deal with. Communication excellent, friendly and helpful, and an appointment was easily arranged, with a 2 hour timeslot given on the appointed day. Paul is very knowledgeable, and puts you at ease straight away! My Qashqai is now ice-cool when I need it be, the A/C working exactly as it should be. This was after H******s claiming they couldn't re-gas as there was a fault. If there was a fault, then of course it is what it is, and that's fine, whatever works are needed gets done - except there wasn't a fault, it just needed re-gassing. So so convenient, no sitting around in uncomfortable waiting areas, inconvenience of actually going there, and all at a competitive price too. No-brainer really (now I know) We're in North Norfolk. Highly recommended!

I am not disputing that this is a reputable company but on this occasion they have not lived up to their reputation. After calling them out to my older motorhome it was established that all of the air con components would be sourced and changed within an agreed budget. Paul seemed confident he could take the job on and the last I spoke to him by email he was still sourcing parts, that was two months ago so I must now assume that he has dropped me like a stone. Very unprofessional and as I am in the very industry that you also serve I will only be giving my honest opinion in future within that industry.

I just had a visit from Paul from Auto-Kool to check out the air-con on my Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Hybrid. Great service and painless from start to finish, good communication and very friendly company. I booked through email (so I didn't have to wait on the phone) and received a quote the same day. I replied the next day to book in for an Air con services and re-gas. Paul turned up on time at my home in Norwich. He got on with the job straight away talking me through what he was doing and why. It took just over 35 minutes and I am very happy with the service. Auto-Kool did something Halfords and my local garage could not do. Thanks

Getting air-con service with Auto Kool is very straight forward. You contact them with car reg No and they give you a quote by return. Give them the go ahead and they give you a date that they will come to you. The day before, they give you a time window. They turn up on time, do the job and charge as per quote. They keep you informed as the job progresses and then you pay. It’s so simple, why would you go anywhere else?

Really easy company to deal with. Received a message the day before the engineer was due stating an ETA. Turned up on time and air con now working like new. Would highly recommend.

My daughter has a VW Polo. Its been to a dealer once and a mechanic once to have air con regased. Both didnt last more than a few days, neither could find a fault. I booked Auto Kool, turned up on time and within 10 minutes, using a special testing tool, detected the leak deep behind the dashboard and identified the defective part it would be. Sadly it would be a full dashboard out job and more a job for a dealer. Brilliant service and in my contacts forever now. Just speaking to him and seeing all the equipment he carries he clearly knows his stuff. Highly recommend

Air con packed up, called out these guys and glad I did. I now have working, cold, air conditioning. Had to wait for a part but all fixed within 2 weeks of the first call. Friendly team of people, highly recommend if you need you air con re gassed or fixed.

When Kwik Fit tried to re-gas my air con, it wasn't working and they said they could try to find out why but would cost extra, so I left it. After a quick Google search, I found Auto Kool. They came to my home and sorted out my air con, simple as that! Swift, courteous and professional. I would very highly recommend.
