Berkshire East Plumbing & Heating did an exceptional job putting air conditioning in our lounge, it was so good we had air conditioning put in our bedroom which was also an exceptional job and workmanship..

We've just had Rob over replacing a shower tray and fitting a new door. We are still waiting for sealant to cure but from what we can see so far he has done an excellent job! He also had some unexpected challenges during this work relating to how the previous tray had been installed, but Rob found solutions and just got on with it in the most professional way. He was a pleasure to have over. This was the second time I hired Berkshire East, as we had Paul do a boiler service and move a radiator for us a couple months ago. He did an amazing job too and was also very pleasant. On both occasions communication from the office was quick, Richard turned up to quote when he said he would and the works started within a week. If you are looking for somewhere where the job will be completed to a high standard, in a short timeframe and with staff who genuinely give you confidence, this is the place to call. Like me, you'll not be disappointed and you'll wonder why you worried and put those jobs off for so long.

I have just undergone the most exhilarating (not too strong a word) experience of having a home-improvement project performed in my home, by Berks East. I have never, ever before, in over half a century of living in my own home up and down this country, had such a good contractor home - improvement experience as ive just had with Berks East. I asked them to assess and quote a price to remove all of the gas-boiler/blown hot air system with all associated ducting etc., and design supply and install a more modern home water and central heating system. I was fearful my new home would end up resembling a bomb-site! Richard from Berks East came and assessed all the needs and recognising my fears he set about reassuring me, taking all the time i needed for him to answer all my questions fully. After about half an hour i felt completely reassured and confident about berks east taking on this project. The clearly obvious high priority they placed on helping customers' to gain peace of mind, and understanding about what was being proposed, was without a doubt the key by which i knew I wanted berks east to take on this project. I had already made up my mind even though price had not yet been mentioned! Other companies fell by the wayside because they obviously had no care/concern for the potential customer, they were just intent on hustling me to get me to "sign on the dotted line"! After all that, Richard's team of engineers,- Rob, Ben, and Haseem came along and set about bringing Richard's plan into being. It was a one week project but they kept me informed every step of the way. They were very skillfull,hard working, honest, reliable, and by the end of the week you could only tell they had been here because of new boiler in the cupboard and new c/h radiators in every room! The carpets,decor, all looked the same as before the job started, I was able to just sit down and relax and enjoy it all, - such a lovely feeling. Despite the heat-wave i tried it all out, - and it was excellent!!!👍😊 I JUST CANNOT PRAISE BERKS EAST HIGHLY ENOUGH.

From the outset Richard fully explained the product the services, the timescales and the works. The actual works were on point. Ben toiled extremely hard for three days, in the heat and just got on with it, Richard oversaw the works. The electrician was also extremely polite and professional. Great work by all, however Big shout out to Ben who did a great job and also was respectfully every day he completely tidied up. The AC is brilliant, 32 degrees outside, 18 inside and so quiet.

I recently had a new boiler installation from Berkshire East Plumbing & Heating. I chose them based on the good reviews posted online. I was not disappointed. The entire process from first contact, follow up on boiler choices, dealing with their partner Finance company and final installation was as smooth and easy as I could have wished for. Richard was my first contact at the company and he answered all my concerns including revising the quote based on Finance/deposit arrangements and scheduling the work around my availability. The Finance company was clear, professional and thorough. The installation was done by Paul who spent a good few hours installing the new boiler whilst explaining my many questions. He was very polite, treated my house with respect and kept me informed all the time when he needed to enter another room to check on radiators etc. One thing that stood out for me which i had never experienced before, was him asking me 'if he could put his radio on' and then used the key word, 'quietly'. That was a gem! Wow, which contractor does that? The choice of boiler recommended was the latest digital Vaillant and its pretty swish! Its early days, but I love it! Thank you Berkshire East, great job all round, I know its early days since installation but fingers crossed all will be well.

I have used Berkshire East for years and they have always been amazing, both in terms of customer service and the skills of their engineers. Unfortunately on this occasion the heating engineer servicing my boiler did not properly test the seal on the magna clean after completing the service. Luckily, I did test the system after he left and there was a noticeable leak from the system when in operation. I promptly contacted customer services who arranged for the engineer to return later that morning to the property. He subsequently resolved the issue and tested the system, but I was disappointed the engineer did not identify and resolve the issue on his original visit.

The team at Berkshire East Plumbing have been amazing. From a desperate plea late Tuesday evening for help, Rich managed to get Paul in Wednesday who very quickly diagnosed the CORRECT issue, quotes were sent and by Friday lunchtime I had running water again. I’ve used BEP now for over 10 years and every time the team come through. I never feel as though I am being overcharged or given false information, always a 5* service. Highly recommend everytime

Fantastic service, another big job completed, my pipework from the main tank in the loft needed much work and in some places needed replacing, Paul, and the team sorted it all out with minimum difficulties. I have been using this company for over a year now and am very happy with the service. I just had to replace my 22 year old boiler, I dreaded the disruption and the mess, but was really pleased with how considerate and careful Ben was. The job took more time than expected but he cheerfully ploughed on, keeping me informed of progress. At the end he handed me the boiler manual, talked me through the controls and cleared up any remaining bits and pieces thoroughly. I recommend East Berks Plumbing & Heating.

I had a new shower and had a great experience from start to finish, the staff were very knowledgeable and able to advise on options, and installation was great. I would highly recommend Berkshire East Plumbing and Heating.

Had a problem with our boiler, thought it might be down to Hive issues. Engineer came out to deal with it very promptly. Didn't oversell, worked out exact issue and told me the exact solution, which was Hive-related, and it is now all sorted with a replacement part. The engineer was friendly and trustworthy and I will only use this firm ongoing.

Just before Christmas the ballcock in the tank stopped working and we were very pleased that we were fitted in before the Xmas break. Rob explained what he was doing so good customer service/ focus. Work was to replace a pedestal basis with a vanity unit and replace an existing toilet with a modern slim style one. He did an excellent job, was tidy and considerate (noise wise) while working, left the bathroom clean, and removed all the replaced items. He diligently modified the toilet outlet so the existing boxing did not need replacing which would have resulted in an extra cost and visit. Very satisfied customer. Found Berkshire East on Which? Very impressed. Excellent work, good comms and reasonable price. They did power flushing which brought several radiators back to life, fitted a new kitchen tap, installed a Water2 drinking water filter and serviced the boiler. Made a real effort to help me out when my normal heating person was unwell. Fitted me in during the busy pre-Christmas time - Dec 16! - All the more appreciated as only certain engineers can deal with a warm air system. The person who came was most professional and thorough - and clearly relieved to get my heating going with an easily-replaced thermocouple, instead of a part which had to be ordered in meaning a Christmas without central heating. It was clear that a good result mattered to him as well as to me, which was also appreciated

Wow, what a find! This company are amazing. From my initial enquiry online - which recieved an email response by return, and was followed up by a phone call within the hour, I was impressed by their friendly efficiency and professionalism. The home visit to assess my needs was perfect - he was knowledgeable, adaptable and left me feeling so confident and reassured. The fitting of the new boiler was a dream - a wonderful hard worker who was so kind, pleasant and clever, and was in at 8am and out by 3.30pm - leaving everything fitted, working, and all the old stuff cleaned up and taken away. And the price was excellent. A plumber you can trust and rely on is worth their weight in gold, so I feel as if I've won the lottery!

Always a great service and team, can't recommend them enough. They've serviced our boiler every year, across two homes, and have installed a new boiler in our old property and installed a new boiler and hot water cylinder in our new home to a very high standard. All at a reasonable price. Will be remaining a regular customer. To add to this, they also worked hard to resolve an issue we had (fault with item from manufacturer) and gave us an absolutely stellar service throughout. Really impressed at the service from Berkshire East. I called them when I found my boiler had stopped working and Richard was out to look at the issue within a few hours. My old boiler needed replacing and this was able to be completed the following week. Ben was friendly, clean and tidy and did a great job of installing the boiler. over the past few years we had a plumber who we went to if required. Unfortunately he closed his business so when our Gas Boiler broke down a week ago we felt stranded. Purely by chance we found Berks East Plumbing & Heating. After receiving their quote for a replacement boiler & then meeting their rep who came to our home the next day we accepted their quote. I cannot praise Paul the plumber who fitted the new one in such a short time, in fact we were happily surprised by the way he worked keeping us updated as to what he was doing throughout. After the installation he cleaned up and removed any rubbish. It is so good in this day and age to find a company that have been so helpful to us. Paul was brilliant when we called him back the next day because we thought (wrongly) that we could smell gas. All in all we can thoroughly recommend this company. Everyone that I have spoken to have been very professional . We will very definitely be using this company again in the future when needed. We cannot recommend this company enough. A very helpful and professional company indeed. A Fantastic service.

10/10 My boiler service was done this AM, great advice and discussion around OAP boiler as well as troublesome thermostat that needed updating. Quote back for works within a couple of hours and now cracking on with sorting that out as well.

Absolute hero. Went above and beyond to try and identify and fix the issue when our boiler wouldn’t turn on Boxing Day morning 2020. Kept in contact so I knew exactly what was going on and when someone would arrive. Couldn’t fault the service at all. Finding a plumber is hard. Find ones that are good at what they do, conscientious, polite, tidy and turn up when they say they are going to is almost impossible. These guys are all of the above. Cost was competitive with no hidden extras. Can not recommend them enough!!
