Excellent service from start to finish. From meeting Tom to discuss work, receiving quote, and then the work done by Colin and the team. Professional, courteous, friendly and involved us all the way along, plus cleaned up very well, afterwards. Tremendous and would certainly encourage others to make use of their services. We will again, for sure.

We have used Tom and his team for all our tree work. Very professional, well equipped, reliable. Highly recommended

A great company to do business with. Very efficient from the initial inquiry, quote and right the way through to payment (which was not asked for until the day after all work had been completed) The quote was very competitive it was laid out so we new exactly what we paying for and what we happen on the day. When we accepted it they gave us some dates to choose from to have the work done. Two people came and cut down one tree and re-shaped another for us. They were polite professional and did a very good safe job. All waste was removed and they cleaned up all wood cuttings leaving the garden has they found it. We are very happy with their work and would recommended this company.

Sadly my eucalyptus tree was too big. The guys from Tom Richards Tree Services came & took it down for me. They were amazing, so skilful. A friendly team, not a leaf or twig left behind. Excellent value-I would definitely recommend them

Sam, Tullie & Ollie here today to dig out and top and reduce some trees in the back garden. From Tom coming out to do quotes and put in a planning Application for some tree's with a TPO on them, it was marvellous for some work to be started. Very professional, prompt and courteous, the whole team , even Georgia back at base was lovely to talk to on the phone, all very reassuring about what was going to happen. The guys worked very hard today, I made them a bacon butties and drinks to keep them going 👌. They asked if everything was ok with what they were doing and in constant communication with me, to make sure I was happy, nothing too much trouble, they cleared everything up and used a leaf blower and tree shredder for the cuttings. They are coming back to do more work so would highly recommend Tom and his team. Tracey & Andy Johnson. July 2024 Had the guys back to sort out 2 more trees, this time with a TPO on them so Tom from the start of the visit, to quote stage organised the planning application with the council as is done with TPO ( tree preservation order ) 6 of the guys turned up Sam, Jay, Colin, Ollie, Adam & Jack, worked extremely hard today and it was so hot, the who team are polite, respectful of property and a great team to have on board, they know exactly what they are doing and the trees were sorted in a exceptional manner, cherry picker had to be used today as trees very high, these guys work tremendously hard and it was lovely to get a surprise visit from Georgia who Ive spoken to a few times on the phone. Absolutely tremendous company and I would highly recommend them!! Tracey & Andy Johnson

Ours was a difficult elderly tree to tackle but their expertise made the job look far less complicated. Highly recommended and would not hesitate to use again.

Tom and the team did a wonderful job in tidying up my ancient beech tree without taking away any of its majesty.

I just wanted to say thank you for the great job on my trees today. I was very impressed by the care and respect given to my lovely ash trees. They were very careful and tidy too. Please thank the team on my behalf.

I'm a site manager in a school and was very impressed with Tom's team that came to do work making one old oak tree safe and work reducing the heights of some of our boundary trees. They did quality work very efficiently and with a warm and friendly attitude. Excellent customer service. Happy to recommend them and their quality of work.

Excellent service from start to finish. Two trees with T.P.O’s on them doctored. Tom Richards sorted all permissions out and when granted his team carried out the necessary work using all the proper gear in an efficient and courteous manner.

Excellent job cutting back a very large willow tree - checked where we wanted it cutting down to, where to put the wood chips and also cut the larger pieces of wood into logs. Everything left neat and tidy. Very polite and helpful. Would definitely use them again .

I have used Tom Richards twice now and would highly recommend them. Tom and the team are really knowledgeable about trees and understand how different species grow and the best ways to keep them in order. I've had one tree shortened and then a whole area cleared...the stumps ground out...and they left the area looking really neat and tidy. They also are very considerate to your neighbours...the grinding makes a lot of noise! And they work really quickly - no standing around chatting, they just get on with the job. Am really pleased with the standard of work and the end result. Thanks everyone.

The guys did an excellent job pollarding our tree and the service was top quality throughout. Lads who came out were polite, professional and really friendly. Feels you are dealing with a really professional firm who really know their stuff.

Did an excellent job removing a large redwood from my front garden which had pushed over an old wall. Situated near to the road and with other obstacles around they managed to mismantle it safely with a few hours. Very much recommended.

We recently (April 2021) used Tom and his team to trim back an Oak tree, and to completely take out a tall Fir tree. Tom and his two colleagues were very polite and did a great job. The fir was close to our greenhouse but they took it down to a neat little stump without incident. They trimmed the Oak to a nice shape, and managed to remove branches that overhung our neighbours' garden without dropping anything over the fence. Once the work was done, they completely cleared up after themselves - there were no loose branches, twigs or leaves for us to have to deal with. We highly recommend Tom Richards Tree Services and will definitely use them for all of our tree needs in the future 👍

Awesome job taking down a huge tree in the back garden. Completed in no time at all and left the garden nice and tidy. 👍🏻

Had Tom to grind down a large stump, very efficient and professional and tidy up at the end of the job. Price was fair for the job and would recomend and we will be using Tom again in the future as we have 2 more large stumps that need doing. Thanks for a great job 👍

Tom himself came and assessed what needed to be done to reduce the height of a Tulip tree in my back garden. The quote was very fair and a date was set for the work to be done. Two of his employees Sam and Jo came to do the work. They were both very polite and efficiently went about their business and had the job done in good time. All the branches were put through the chipper and they made sure the site was cleaned up afterwards. I am very pleased with the job done and would highly recommend Tom Richards Tree Services if you need professional tree work doing at a competitive rate.

Absolutely fantastic service from Tom and his team. Punctual, polite and the quality of the work is first class. The end product is exactly what we hoped for and every cutting was removed and recycled. Spot on!

Fantastic service , they took real care to ensure the trees had a good shape and tidied up brilliantly

We hired Tom Richards Tree Services in December 2020 to remove an overgrown tree and grind the stump. We found them to be very professional with great communication. The team were friendly and handled the work and clean up quickly and efficiently - making sure that we were happy with the work before leaving. Best of all, their prices are very competitive.

We had four trees at the back of our garden pruned & they did a great job. We were keen to retain our privacy despite having the trees cut and Tom & the lads really listened to our wishes regarding this. The garden was left very tidy afterwards. We will definitely have them back next time.

Used Tom to remove a 40ft conifer tree that was creating an issue with daylight not getting through to a number of properties. His team was extremely professional and removed the tree in a matter of a few hours. Unbelievable just how quickly they took it down. They even cleared up after themselves. Work was outstanding from start to finish. Can't say enough about this company to be honest. Always on time and get the job done without any fuss. Amazing work.

Excellent service from Tom and his team once again. Wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending. Good job done using quality equipment by very polite and courteous guys. Left the site very clean and tidy!

I would definitely recommend Tom and his team to anyone who has a stove and needs a reliable supplier. We have been using him for many years to supply wood for our stoves at home. He is always on time and the quality of wood is great, as is the price. They vary in size and it is always seasoned, which suits our needs as the stoves are different sizes. There is also a good mixture of hard and soft wood too.

Today we had our beautiful and precious over 200 year old oak tree pruned by the Tom Richards team. They did an excellent job, very professional, they cleaned up after and we are very happy with the outcome. They also took care of the application process to the council, since the tree is under a preservation order. Highly recommended.

Excellent work undertaken, and no fuss at all. Thoroughly recommended.

Very pleased with the work done by Tom and his team. They arrived promptly and did everything as planned. Especially pleased with the way everything was left neat and tidy afterwards. Will certainly use them again. We have plenty of trees to go at.

Tom & his team was very professional, polite, communicated well & got the job done to a high standard. Tom went that extra mile to help, especially because the tree wasn’t on our property. Would definitely use them again, highly recommended 👍🏻

Fantastic service from Initial phone call for a quote to the completion of job - The lads that came out were polite professional and left the site spotless - Wouldn't hesitate to use and recommend this company again

They turn up without notice to cut down trees, keeping a night shift key worker awake and all you get when you call the office is voicemail. Guys doing the job are not very polite when you speak nicely to them

Excellent Professional service from start to finish. All the team were efficient and polite. I can fully recommend Tom and his team.
