Joe Rice Tree Services

They were totally reliable, gave really good advice, very friendly and did a great job, tidying up our unruly conifers. It was immaculate when they left. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent company to deal with. Would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone. From initial quotation to completion can only state this is a first class company.

Excellent service. Completed tree removal quickly and efficiently removing cut sections without any mess. Additionally carried out grinding roots out to enable us to level garden out. A big thank you to the team.

Joe and his team have carried out various works on my trees over recent years. They are very professional, always turn up on time and leave everywhere clean and tidy. Highly recommended. Thank you for your work.

Another good job by Joe Rice and his team. The lads worked hard and were polite and professional whilst also attentive to the customers requests on the day. Excellent service. Many thanks

Very happy customers! The team came and got everything completed in just over an hour of what would have taken us a weekend. Very polite and cleaned up like they hadn’t even been. Would recommend higher if we could. Excellent service all round.

Prompt, friendly, efficient and tidy. Professional quoting and admin too. Excellent work done of an awkward job. Highly recommended

I would definitely recommend Joe Rice Tree services. They are polite, punctual, hard working and very tidy, leaving my property extremely tody when the job was finished. Great job done by a great team. Thank-you.

Great customer service! Highly recommend !

Very professional team and a great job done. On time, quick and efficient. Thanks Joe and team.

The three young men who did our work were thorough, neat and tidy, and diligent.

Did a great job, we will definetly be using them again!

The lads did an excellent job for a fair price, they quickly cut my conifer tree in half and left the area spotless, no mess at all. Professional, efficient, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very professional service, did a lovely job of our hedge reduction

Easily sorted out a very high and troubling tree, that's been a problem for a few years, very competitive on price, would highly recommend, removed and shredded all branches and left the site clean , helps to keep all the neighbours happy, thankyou.

Great job by Joe and his team. Lovely work and left garden really tidy. Very happy. Highly recommend.

Super recommended! I had them cut the biggest, messiest tree ever, and I was impressed by how clean and tidy they manage to leave behind 😃 Great work.

Competitive quote Turned up on time during adverse weather Job completed to a high standard Highly recommended trader and will use again

Joe Rice Tree Services came on 05 January 2026 to sort our Oak Tree out. The lads did an excellent job, they were very professional and made sure everywhere was tidy before they left. We are so pleased with what they have done and we would highly recommend this company :) Anne-Marie & Mick

Fantastic service! Great communication throughout and an excellent price too!

The team worked hard and responded to my requests. A good job done, thank you.

Excellent advice and service. Very sympathetic and aesthetic approach to tree pruning. Well satisfied with the end result and would definitely recommend and use Joe's company again.

Joe came and quoted to do the tree trimming in our back garden. They guys then came and did an excellent job, made the trees look so much better and cleared away leaving no mess at all. They will be back next year for some other work we need doing. Would highly recommend them.

The guys did a sterling job in horrible conditions. Torrential rain all day, the tree was slippery and they were climbing so high. This didn’t detract from them completing an excellent job, and such polite young men. Highly recommend.

Prompt and professional service from initial request to conclusion. Queries were answered efficiently by Joe & Stacey. Thank you. My fourth annual cut of tall Blackthorn & Hawthorn hedge, with all waste material cleared and taken away. Thank you to everyone for a good job. I hope to see Joe & his team next year.

From start to finish, Joe Rice and his team were exceptional. Joe gave me a detailed estimate with photographs of exactly what they were going to do. I had a very large over grown privet hedge which was approximately 40 metres in length and approximately 13 foot high, also a shorter length hedge at the front of my property but equally as tall and overgrown. What a transformation Joe and his team created, cannot fault their work. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. Further more, I must add that every last bit of privet was removed and taken away and my property left clean and tidy.

Joe has been to us a few times now over the years. Never disappointed and highly recommend his service from quoting to carrying out the job. Today we had 2 large trees taken completely out which were not in an easy place to remove. Our willow tree pollarded and then cutting back a neighbours messy growth of different bushes overhanging our garden revealing their beautiful willow tree for us to admire until ours come back. The lads did a great job of clearing the site from the back garden out to the road. Thanks again Joe and your great Team x

Swift friendly service. Very professional. The lads did an excellent job, cleaned the place up after the job was finished. Even went next door to tidy their garden too! Very reasonable on cost too. I am really happy with the job they did. 😁

We've used Jo Rice's services twice now and we couldn't be happier with the way they carried out the jobs and their results, all for a reasonable price. We would definitely recommend them.

Excellent company, professional and polite. We used them to prune one of our trees and to fell another. Two gentlemen conpleted the job with utmost care so we already gave them the next job! Highly recommendable 👍

Very happy with the work and with the clearing up afterwards

After years of delaying job to be done and tree just getting bigger and more dangerous, the quoted price to reduce the size of 2 trees, was very affordable. Job was done very quickly and efficiently. As needed to involve 3 different neighbours gardens due to size of tree, they were treated with respect. Garden was left clean of any debris on both days. Will definitely use again. Thank you.

Great comms, prompt, and excellent service. Definitely recommend

I had a great experience with this company. They were professional, arrived on time and did a thorough job removing a large tree from the garden. Highly recommended for anyone needing reliable and safe tree work. Thanks again.

Very professional team. Couldn’t fault their work and knowledge. Would highly recommend and will defo be using again

Joe Rice Tree Services did an excellent job in our garden, every time I walk out the door I am amazed by the garden now, the excellent hedge and tree. Joe went round the garden with me making sure he knew exactly what we wanted doing with the height of the hedge and the diameter of the tree and made suggestions. On the day the chap in charge came round again making sure he knew exactly what to do then the team went to work cutting, collecting the off cuts and shredding them. They were amazing.

We use Joe and his Team regularly. Fantastic service from start ( Stacy) to the finished job. Will always use in the future and would recommend to all.

Joe & his team cut back overhanging branches from large trees at the back of the garden , removed an old tree & large bush with stumps ground back below ground level.Everything completed exactly as requested & all waste removed . Joes team were all very professional & personable - wouldn’t hesitate to use the service again or recommend to others .

Turned up punctually to give a quote and then came on agreed date to trim hawthorn trees. All done as promised and very pleased with work done. All mess cleared up and left garden and driveway tidy. Would recommend

All work accomplished professionally and promptly. Well done!

I cannot comment on the actual work carried out as we didn't get that far. We agreed a price and date and I confirmed i had checked with the council no TPO on the tree. However Joe Rice tree services although specifically asked not to contacted the council who then decided to investigate further and then put a TPO on the tree. Joe Rice tree services then offered with a charge to try to get the TPO removed.

Very professional and friendly service. A very quick and simple process from the first quotation meeting, to recieving the quote and booking in the works. All works completed as per the quote and garden and driveway left tidy. Would definitely recommend!

Great service and completed everything to a high level

Excellent professional service. Thoroughly recommend.

We commissioned Joe Rice to take down two large trees. We agreed to the estimate and fixed a date about two months ahead. On the appointed day men came as promised, did the work efficiently and without much disturbance. They took away all trunks and shredded branches and swept up, leaving the site very clean. This has made a big difference to the light entering our back garden. A job well done. Thank you.

The communications with Stacey and Joe were excellent. Very quick to respond and provide a quote to invoicing following the work being carried out. The team carrying out the work were, professional, friendly whilst still observing social distancing, and tidied up after themselves.
