Sheffield Tree Care Ltd

Excellent work by the team.

Really pleased with the work the team carried out. They were punctual and worked extremely hard. They cleared away all the branches and were a pleasure to deal with.

We used Sheffield Tree Care Ltd to remove 4 trees from our garden - plus tree stump removal - and surrounding shrub clearance. They did an excellent job in removal of the trees and shrubs, we are very happy with the work they’ve done. They did a great job tidying up afterwards and the prices were very reasonable too. I’d highly recommend them.

Really happy with the service from the team. They helped us get in touch with the tree officer and made the whole process straightforward from start to finish. Communication was great throughout. The work was carried out professionally, and they left everything clean and tidy afterwards. A great team to deal with and a job really well done. We’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing tree work done. Thanks again!

We always use Sheffield Tree Care for our tree and hedge work. We know that we can rely on their high standards of work and knowledge of trees. The staff are excellent and really care about plants. They are always keen to to make sure that their work is done in the best possible way both for the health and appearance of the trees and hedges. I cannot recommend them highly enough enough!!

Very satisfied with the work performed. All the team were very professional. Would def recommend

Very happy with service. Removed a mature sycamore and conifer. Friendly and professional. Would happily recommend.

Brilliant service, fair price and the guys that carried out the work were lovely genuine guys.

Knowledgeable and professional team cleaned all mess away afterwards. Would use them again

We’ve bought bulk loads of firewood for over 10 years, very good service and pricing

Great job from a professional company that knows what they are doing. Recommended.

I’ll add to a previous review of this company. I’ve used them now for almost 10 years for both tree work and fire logs. They have so consistently being friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, efficient and with very competitive priced. I have no hesitation and highly recommend recommending this team.

We were so very pleased with the work you have done for us. The three merry lads did a great job, were more than helpful, taking on extra tasks and cleared up brilliantly. We had a very nice day with them We have been so impressed by your company; fair pricing, professionalism and thoroughness and will definitely recommend you to anyone.

Friendly and efficient company. Made sure the job was completed to my satisfaction, and cleared up well. Recommended!

Excellent work by a very professional team! We had a tree felled today in our garden, the team were fantastic and did a very good job. They took away the tree and all branches, cleaned the site and road - I wouldn’t know they had been here except the tree has gone! First thing they did on arrival was a site inspection and risk assessment - the team were clearly well trained and knew what they were doing. A similarly excellent job was done for a neighbour last week. And the price was very reasonable.

Sheffield Tree Care provided a great service - they came to quote when agreed, were very knowledgeable about what we needed, they were efficient with organising a date for the work and the team were great on the day. We’re very happy with the work and the service and would definitely recommend.

We recently used Sheffield Tree Services and couldn’t be more pleased with the whole experience. From the first contact, they were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything clearly and offer sensible advice. They arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and carried out the job to a very high standard. What really stood out was how tidy they were — everything was cleared away afterwards and left looking immaculate. A thoroughly professional, reliable, and friendly team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing tree work done. Excellent service from start to finish!

Excellent service on split logs delivery, after I had a stroke I have difficulty moving logs. They did everything possible to make it a good experience. Thanks to all involved and thanks for the quick delivery. I will definitely use this company again.

Just to say how very impressed I was by your team. The task was to cut down a very tall and damaged beech tree in a tricky corner of the garden with very little space to work in. Your friendly, professional crew arrived punctually, set up and cleared a working space (moving a number of large plant pots), systematically and skilfully cut down the tree, cleared everything away through the garden, tidied up, repositioned the plant pots and left the garden neater than before without the slightest damage. All in six hours. It was breathtaking to watch!

Great work carried out by these guys, two other tree surgeons didn't want to know, Alf visited, prepared me a quote, and got the job done....highly recommended 👍

I highly recommend Sheffield Tree Care - they’ve helped us on two separate occasions over the past 10 years. Each time, from the initial quote through to completion, the experience has been excellent. Communications were great throughout - they kept us updated at each stage including managing the process with the Council, as the trees were covered by TPOs, which made the whole experience straightforward and stress-free. The team on site were friendly, professional and respectful of our property throughout. They worked efficiently and left everything tidy once the job was finished. We’re extremely pleased with the final result. Whilst maintaining healthy trees, the work carried out has allowed much more natural light into our garden and has made a real difference to how much we can enjoy our home and outdoor space. A great team and a fantastic outcome.

Very efficient and professional. Tidied up and controlled the footpath and road without any incidents.

Very happy with the recent work taken place at the Jubilee Centre. Ben and the team were polite and hard working and did a great job and getting our overgrown laurel bushes under control.

They do what's best for your trees and shrubs...and you... very happy

Can highly recommend Sheffield Tree care who were recommended to me by another expert tree surgeon. They are very experienced, punctual and left everywhere tidy. They’ve tackled the most overgrown bit of the garden and trust them to help sort out the rest which will take a few visits. They know their trees!

Very good experience. Nit-picking/preventing 5star review:- my large garden tub was relocated, up-turned, found full of rain-water 2days later (difficult to empty)

Sheffield Tree Care did a great job looking after the trees in our garden, tidied up after themselves thoroughly, and kindly met our request to leave the wood chipping for use as garden mulch and for paths - even dropping some off from their job the next day to top us up! They seemed very knowledgeable and ensured they didn’t take off too much so as to not cause the trees stress. Thank you to the whole team :)

Outstanding company! They took down a large tree in our garden with no damage at all to the surrounding undergrowth and a deck. They also reduced a small grove of trees, and although we had expected to be left with some unsightly stumps until regrowth, they in fact, left a very neat, still green, and very nicely shaped small clump of trees. Could not be happier!

Excellent service from start to finish. They were the best of three quotes, listened and advised on our requirements to remove multistem trees, a dead tree on a high bank and pruning versus removal of several other trees. Quoted promptly, sorted out the conservation area tree cutting application for us and completed the required work to our total satisfaction within a short time frame from quoting. Communication excellent throughout. The men working solidly throughout the day despite bouts of wet weather and all debris was cleared. Thoroughly recommend and will use again.

First rate tree-felling, exactly what we wanted, we would definitely use Sheffield Tree Care again. The team were professional and polite throughout, left no mess, and even moved a small shrub to safety before work started and then replanted it carefully afterwards. Our neighbours admired their work as well.

Sheffield Tree Care take care of the whole process of dealing with tree removal. They visited, diagnosed a terminal problem and arranged for planning permission to remove the tree, something I was glad to hand over to someone else. Although access to the tree was awkward the team worked very neatly and in such an organised way that all debris was removed, leaving my garden and the surrounding area pristine. The men are pleasant to have around and always willing to answer questions. An excellent team and highly recommended!

Very happy with the service and professionalism provided by Sheffield Tree Care. A great company to deal with. I will be using them again

Excellent service from first visit to tidying up. Tree cut down, no mess left at all. Great job and service at very reasonable price.

I would highly recommend this company. Their staff were very prompt when quoting, and also when subsequently attending to do the necessary work. They were very polite and pleasant to deal with and did exactly what we wanted with regard to the finished look of the trees that they pruned. Excellent service, very pleased.

A big thank you to Sheffield Tree Care. They helped me out quickly when my lilac tree came down. The team were great, very efficient, hardworking and they left the site shipshape. I can’t thank them enough for a job well done.

From first approach to this company to paying a reasonable bill, the entire transaction was flawless. Especially the rapid response to a request for an estimate for pruning a much loved Persian Ironwood Tree and the booking the job shortly afterwards. The two operatives were quick, skilful and helpful in every way. This company sets a standard we would like others to copy.

Very happy with work done. Hard working, polite team. finished job was much better than I was expecting and all rubbish was removed. Would definitely recommend.

Very impressed, would highly recommend

Highly recommend. Great service, great price. I couldn't believe how tidy they were!

really professional and nice to have around. great job, great tidy up- highly recommended

Excellent service at reasonable cost. Very nice people to deal with. I recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic team, hired them to fell a birch tree in back garden down to stump level and they were excellent through the whole process of the quote, booking and work itself—Nick was really attentive to what I was specifically looking for and gave really some really well-informed and helpful advice for how to approach things in the best way, as well as being very accommodating with my preferred date for the job even at such a busy time. They team who did the work were very well-equipped for exactly what the job needed and did very skillful and efficient work (they took barely more than 2 hours total for the initial set-up, the work itself and clean-up after) throughout, with lots of consideration for everything else in my garden, and they cleaned up after themselves completely. They really went above and beyond, I can't recommend them enough. Thank you very much!

After a face to face consultation and receiving a reasonable quote I had 1 tree removed, and 1 tree pruned. All the vegetation was cleared, and the rest of my garden left intact. I was highly delighted with the efficient and sympathetic handling, especially the pruning.

Excellent service from start to finish. Came over for a look at the job and took the time to explain their plans and answer my questions. Gave a fair quote and then were very easy to arrange a date with for the work. Arrived early (always a bonus) and tidied up entirely after themselves. thanks

This company is fantastic. My cherry trre was trimmed and shaped efficiently. It looks stunning. Two man crew cleared debris up leaving everything as was. Excellent work. Highly recommended. Pat Martin

I ordered 2 loads of unseasoned hardwood rings. Communication and service was first class. Delivery was prompt, driver was really helpful. Would highly recommend

Holly Tree cut down. Great and very reasonable quote from a respected professional company. Two gentlemen friendly and professional came on time. They worked very hard and respected the property and did a great job and cleanup - 10 Stars! All round great service, including office team! Very Highly recommend, with greatful and many thanks!

The team of young men were extremely efficient, arriving early morning and working hard all day. I am delighted with the results of their work and very impressed with their pleasant and friendly manner, checking I was happy with their efforts.

Excellent. Nice guys. Would recommend and we will definitely use again.

Great experience with this company. They came and gave a clear quote which was much cheaper than others. Arrived when they said they would, did part of the work but had to return later for the second half due to a nesting bird. Again, arrived on time and got the job done with no additional cost for the second visit. The office team were efficient and the on site staff polite, knowledgeable and friendly. What's not to like?

Great value, really nice people & excellent communication. I bought a load of rings (both photos are from one load) but ready chopped wood is also available.

Sheffield Tree Care did a really nice job of cutting back the branches on our Ash Tree. Our house is in a tree preservation area so they took care of all necessary approvals prior to commencing the work. Really happy with the work completed, including the tidy-up.

A job created by another contractor being unable to proceed. Excellent communication, easy people to deal with and a faultless execution of the agreed work. Thank you.

We had a great service from Sheffield Tree Care when they came to reduce the size of our (slightly too tall) tree. They were all very friendly and also very professional, they checked carefully what we required before they commenced the work and then kept checking in with us to make sure that we were happy with the size/shape of the tree. After the job was complete they cleared up and took everything away. Lovely lads and they did a great job.

It was the first time I used Sheffield Tree Care. They were really clear and responsive with the comms by email and mobile phone. They even rang to double check I had all the tools needed to process the rings and cordwood. I received a great quantity of wood, and its excellent hardwood. The delivery driver was super courteous and conscientious - making sure the wood was dropped precisely where I needed it. Would HIGHLY recommend. Best source of unprocessed firewood I have found in Sheffield by far.

Had another delivery of log rounds from Sheffield Tree Care recently. They arrive on time, are very courteous and respectful of property, and the price is reasonable. Highly recommended.

Fantastic talented work force, they clean up after to the extent that you can't tell they have been except for the great work done on your tree and shrubs. High recommend them and the support staff are excellent.

We have used Sheffield Tree Care on 2 occasions now and would highly recommend them. The team were extremely professional and courteous and we were very impressed with the work they did for us. From obtaining the quote to completing the work, communication was excellent, they turned up on time, worked very hard and left the garden extremely tidy afterwards.

Fast to quote, very pleasant team of people and fast to reply to messages as well as doing the job the week after quotation. So tidy and caring of the environment. Will definitely use this local business again. They were excellent all round.

Glen was very knowledgeable, he made suggestions to what could be done with the large sycamore tree at the bottom of my garden . The lads that turned up to do the work were very polite, they got cracking straight away and got the job done . Would recommend this company.

Courteous and professional service. Job carried out to a high standard. Happy with result. Would recommend.

Excellent company, Job was the removal of a large non-native conifer and the pruning/reduction of a mature silver birch - both house high. A great team of lads arrived and dealt with the conifer expeditiously. The important part of this review is the way they dealt with the reduction of the birch. The company came recommended as professionals with an aesthetic sense and this proved to be the case. The tree was pruned back tastefully leaving it as an attractive specimen and this was done in consultation with myself. Very different from some of the 'cut it all down to half height and that'll do' jobs that I've seen. A great team and a great company from initial survey visit to completion. The office staff were courteous, helpful and efficient as well. A good job at a fair price, unreservedly recommended.

Had these guys round to take down a dying Ash Tree in the garden after they’d been recommended by a friend. Really impressed by the whole service. Nick came round to quote and talk about options and it was clear that he’s really knowledgeable and passionate about Sheffield’s trees. The guys who came to take it down were great, they worked professionally and carefully and took all the bits away. The woman in the office that I spoke to was lovely too. Price very reasonable too for such a professional and friendly service.

Did an excellent job.Good price, good communication and did exactly what was agreed.Would use again

100% recommend. Sheffield Tree Care are totally reliable and professional. They have done a great job, everyone was very pleasant to have around, the garden was left beautifully tidy and all the hassle of getting planning permission for the work was done by them.

We were very impressed with Sheffield Tree Care Ltd, they turned up on time, worked hard all day and were pleasant and helpful. Afterwards the clear up was amazing, hardly any mess any where even though they were dragging cut off branches round the house and up a path. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Brilliant service from Nick and his team - they give great advice, are very reliable and do an all around great job every time. Thanks!
