A huge thanks to the Dedham Vale Tree Surgery crew! These guys really know their stuff. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been super helpful and professional. They sorted all the council paperwork for Tree Preservation Orders, removed one tree, and took great care of the rest. They cleared up every last bit of waste and left the place looking spotless. I will continue to use and recommend them for anything additional garden maintenance.

Brilliant guy helped me and my mates recently

The Dedham Vale Tree Surgery Team were excellent, friendly, and professional. We were thrilled with how they dealt with our very large, and difficult dead tree. Minimal damage to surrounding area, and done far quicker than we expected. All timber was removed and the site cleared of debris by the team, and done for a reasonable price. Would use again, and recommend to others. Thank you.

Great experience using Dedham Vale Tree Surgery. Quoted quickly for the job. Friendly and fast service.

Dedham Vale Tree Surgery was recommended to me by a friend and they did not disappoint. The tidied/reshaped my conifer trees at the back of my garden and did an amazing job! Efficient, thorough, clean and friendly team. Would absolutely recommend these guys again. Thank you so much!

I wanted a couple of yew trees shaped and reduced in my garden. Dedham Vale Tree Surgeons listened to what I wanted and carried out the work requested. I am very pleased with their work. I was pleased with the professional approach taken in providing a quote and then carrying out the work. I always knew what was going to happen and when. They also had the experience and appropriate insurance cover to carry out a tree survey in our local churchyard.

I used Dedham Vale Tree Surgery after a recommendation from a friend. I can honestly say the service from start to finish was absolutely superb! They were so professional in their approach and very thorough with trying to make sure the service I received was exactly tailored to what I envisaged in my head. That is a real skill and one that these guys have in abundance. Not a single piece of garden waste was left after they finished, not even a single leaf!!! Top guys, thanks so much.

Great service from Dedham Vale Tree Surgery. Harry was prompt in replying to my enquiry around stump grinding and got me booked in quickly. James turned up to stump grind, was professional and swift and got the job done! Would definitely recommend the team. Thanks for your help

Harry was very polite, fast, helpful, and a pleaseure to deal with. Good price too! Thanks Harry!

Absolutely cannot thank Harry (and Sophie) enough for giving up their Sunday plans to come and assist me in my hour of need. The service was very friendly and extremely swift from my first call to arriving on site to help get my stuck cat out of a tree! Harry successfully achieved in under 40mins what i had failed to do in 4hours of trying. Brilliant service, excellent price, will definitely use again (hopefully not just for the cat) and definitely recommend.

Absolutely thrilled with the work Harry and his team at the Dedham Vale Tree Surgery did to the front and rear of our home last week! Expert care and attention from the moment they arrived early in the morning until last light. Every member of the team were courteous, diligent and carried out our instruction in full...difficult when you have +10 years of extensive untouched conifers & laurels to shape and cull. Their efforts have made for the finishing touch to the exterior of the home which we've so lovingly renovated over the last 2 years...Thank you! Would happily recommend to anyone in need of a professional tree surgery service!

Harry and team took down a large and brittle tree for us on 9.1.23 at the front of the house, overhanging power and BT lines. They did a great job, co-ordinating with UKPN to keep disruption to a minimum and cleared away afterwards. Could not recommend them more!

We had 14 conifers, 1 very large pine tree and a large laurel stump to grind out. James removed them all plus some stubborn grasses. He was polite, easy to talk to and dud a brilliant job. He left the garden very tidy when the job was finished..

What a transformation! Apart from the now perfectly formed tree we are unable to tell Harry and the team have been. Its been a tricky job with bad weather, tight access and a tree with a tree protection order on it; but even with its challenges its been a smooth process from start to finish. Thanks Dedham Vale Tree Surgery!

Recently used Harry to dismantle a tree before Wjs group built an extension. Very impressed with the speedy response and scheduling in of the job.

Harry and his team were punctual, professional and did a fantastic job in our garden. They also made sure they cleared up any debris thoroughly. Would highly recommend.

Did some work on two Himalayan Birch trees this week. Harry, and the guys who came to do the work were very knowledgable about the best treatment for the trees and did a great job, leaving the trees looking wonderful. I would highly recommend.

Excellent service by the team at Dedham Vale Tree Surgery. We had a tree damaged by a storm, with another storm scheduled for the following day. They came out within 4 hours and removed the tree leaving everything neat and tidy. Very impressed, and thank you for such quick prompt service.

Great bunch of guys who were friendly, plenty of common sense, very efficient and very determined! Our soft turf posed a problem for their trucks but they were well prepared. They soldiered on and got the job done :) we were really pleased with their work, and they were happy to leave us (as we had requested) the logs and wood chips for us to use, which they prepared for us. Will definitely use again. Thanks so much all of you :)

Great company to work with very Professional

Harry's team made an excellent job of work in a professional and friendly way. Will be using them again.

Fast, efficient, professional and excellent value for money. Many thanks, would always use again. I planted this Silver Birch myself 32 years ago. Sad to see it go, but needs must. As easy as I, 2, 3.

Fantastic Service! Hired a cherry picker for maintenance work to the chimney stack and the guys worked really safely and were exceptionally helpful. We would definitely recommend Dedham Vale Tree Surgery. Thanks guys!

Excellent service would recommend to anyone.

Very happy with the service, thank you. Managed to sensitively placate my neighbour who had a difference of opinion over which branches I wanted cut off and helped me in a moment of urgent need as I was erecting a pergola and the instructions said it was a 2 man job, which it most certainly wasn't!

Excellent work, efficient and quick service and very tidy. Good communication throughout. Very professional and would definitely recommend Harry and his team.

Top job from a great bunch of guys, very professional service and respectful of our neighbours as they did need to access their gardens to complete the works carried out. Would recommend to anyone looking for this service, keep up the good work chaps.

Harry and his team did an excellent job. They were recommended to me by a neighbour and they were fast to respond. Harry came round and gave advice and quoted promptly. He completed all the paperwork to the council regarding preservation orders and gave me a date. He got in touch a few days before to check everything was still good to go and the team arrived early and cracked on. I'm no tree expert but they did everything I asked and our tree looks much better balanced and airy. One other has been cut down and the third pollarded as requested. They didn't rush the work, were polite and tidied up after themselves. Will use them again in due course and would recommend to anyone.

A great company full of enthusiasm and expertise Reliable on time and Harry Adams keeps you informed throughout the process We would throughly recommend this company and won’t hesitate to ask their help in future Heather and Dave

I needed a part dead silver birch removed, someone came round to quote the next day and managed to squeeze me in 3 days later. The tree was removed effortlessly and professionally and all the mess was cleared away, if anyone walked past they wouldn’t know a few hours ago a huge tree was once standing. Can’t recommend enough.

Harry and the guys have done a fantastic job for us removing approx 35 large conifers and clearing our new garden. Couldnt be happier with the job done.

Harry and his team did an amazing job for us on 4 trees! They worked so hard all day in the hot sun and did the most amazing job! We are so pleased with the results and they were super professional, safe and very reasonably priced! They cleared up and even swept everything away afterwards. Cant thank Dedham Vale Tree Surgey enough and 100% reccomend!

I was extremely pleased with the professional service I received. Highly recommended

I recently had a very old tree transplanted in my garden. Harry was a pleasure to deal with from the outset, and the job was set up easily. The guys that came to compete the transplant were excellent. They were very professional, curtious and worked their socks off in the pouring rain all day. The tree looks fabulous and I am very pleased with the whole job. I'd recommend them without hesitation. Great work, thanks!

Excellent job done and fair price would recommend

Harry and his team were a pleasure to have on the land when they got rid of about 100 metres of leylandii and a couple of large trees with a vast array of the latest forestry equipment. They were polite, tidy, efficient and considerate. They started on time and finished on time. Great attention to detail. We were delighted with their work and will miss them and their lovely rescue dog Shelby.

Our oak tree was getting lopsided and shading out the light in our back garden. We love the tree and just wanted to reduce it a little without causing any lasting harm. Harry came and quoted in the Spring, giving us a date and a price. Everything went as planned and our tree is looking much tidier. We also have lots of firewood for next winter but if you prefer, Dedham Vale Tree Surgery will take it all away and it will be used as biofuel. A big thank you Harry and to your team.

I would very much recommend Dedham Vale Tree Surgery. Very pleased with the speed of responses to initial queries, job carried out professionally & site left tidy. Many thanks again Harry!

Removal of dead wood from 8 oak trees completed on schedule and to budget in one day by efficient and helpful team.

I would highly recommend Harry and his team for their professionalism and leaving the site tidy. A great team including the dog !!

Harry and the team did some work at our office. The most impressive thing about them was that when they had finished and left, you'd have never known they had been! That is the level of detail they go to on their clear up operation. Great firm!

Great service provided. Harry at dedham vale and his lads done a fantastic job

I can’t recommend Harry and his company highly enough. A tree in my garden was causing damage to my neighbours property which was a stressful situation and required immediate attention. Harry was extremely professional and responded quickly and the job was completed within 2 days of my first call. It’s fantastic to find people that not only do the job well but go beyond your expectations.

Professional and efficient

Excellent job and reliable service! The apple tree in my garden was blocking sunshine, I posted an ad in the Facebook and received lots of reply. I did appoint a guy initially but he didn't turn up on the day. Luckily I found Dedham Vale Tree Surgery and the job was done with 100% satisfactory. I will strongly recommend them.

Really appreciate your work today! Massive thank you for helping out my nan this afternoon with taking down that massive tree and great customer service to she over the moon with how friendly and well mannered you and your colleges are!!

Dedham Vale Tree are reliable and good value for money and I would highly recommend their services. They are happy to go the extra mile to ensure their customers and neighbours are happy with their work. Many thanks Harry and the team at Dedham Vale Tree Surgery.

Just thought I would let you know how pleased we are with the hedgerow cutting your company done 2nd June. It was really tall and overgrown and much thicker than we thought! All was going well until the torrential downpour in the late afternoon. They still carried on working so to get it all one height. It certainly wasn’t easy for them working in such conditions. They cleared the cuttings as best they could and returned to cut the front in the dry. They cleared up again and left the garden completely clean and tidy. They made sure we were completely happy with everything before they left. What an excellent job they done. It is now much shorter and healthier looking. We are really pleased with the standard of work of your company and your professional and friendly staff.

Very pleased with Dedham Vale Tree Surgery services. Excellent customer care with friendly team. Will use again and would recommend.

We don't have enough good things to say about Harry and his team. From start to finish we have received the most professional service from the most polite gentleman. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently, and the clean up is amazing, you'd never have known they have been. We could not recommend them highly enough, exceeding upon all of our expectations.

Amazing bunch of lads who really know their stuff, thanks very much!

Absolutely fantastic and professional service. Very competent and safe crew who do the job from start to finish.

Knowledgeable, tidy work and would highly recommend

Harry and his team did a fabulous job pruning our ageing horse chestnut and ash trees. From our initial contact with Harry we were impressed with his knowledge and extremely helpful, friendly, and totally professional manner. Harry advised us how manage and maintain our trees and liaised with the local authority on our behalf to ensure we fully complied with the tree protection order (TPO) rules and planning application. The quality of their workmanship was second to non, very efficient, polite and courteous at all times. They tidied and cleared everything away taking all cuttings etc. with them when they left, you wouldn't have known they had been here. In fact our neighbours commented on what a good job they had done on the trees and how clean and tidy they left everything. As we live in a relatively small village our continuing good relationship with our neighbours is most important. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Harry and his team to anyone considering this work. We will definitely be contacting Harry again next year to carry out our on going tree maintenance.

Came, Saw, Sawed and Fell... The tree was a straggling monster of Eucalyptus in a small garden and we are delighted it is no longer there. We have more sky, more light and all the bark and leaves will no longer litter the lawn. I am delighted to recommend DVTS. The quote was done quickly, the timing was what we wanted, the fellers were professional, polite and good humoured and their work was an art to watch. And - no damage to anything!

Harry & his team were quick, professional and left the site really tidy. Great team and would highly recommend them to anyone. I had an Ash tree crowned and it looks brilliant.

Fast and friendly service from Harry and his team to remove over-hanging branches from my mother's property.

The previous reviews have said it all. Courteous, prompt, knowledgeable, efficient - and the lawns vacuumed at the end to remove all the debris. Very impressed !!

Harry and his team were excellent. Did everything I wanted and without hesitation cleared up. Apart from the pile of logs and very reduced tree you would never know they had been. Would recommend to anyone as extremely reliable.

Harry, Tristan and Rhys recently removed over 10 Leylandii from our rear garden and also completed some general shrub/hedge clearance and shaping for us. The guys were professional, courteous and worked quickly to complete the job in a timely manner, tidying up as the job progressed. We were very pleased with the work and would be happy to both use Dedham Vale Tree Surgery again and to recommend them to others Alan, Manningtree

Harry and his team did a great job for me on 4/4/16.Very professional, neat and tidy.Careful not to damage nearby shrubs etc.Five trees one very dangerous over hanging my home,i was very worried about this tree in particular. They dealt with it easily.Nothing was too much trouble.Sorted out a couple of last minute additions.Everything chipped and cleared away, they even protected my lawn with canvas sheets. I would highly recommend,Harry at DEDHAM VALE TREE SURGERY

I would highly recommend Harry and his team - they did an excellent and professional job on 5 trees in my garden. A pleasure to work with, very responsive, efficient and stand-out customer service at each stage of the process - I was impressed on every level. Harry is pure quality: clearly very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his work and always willing to go the extra mile for his customers. If only there were an option to give a six star rating!

Friendly, professional and good value. Harry and the team made short work of pruning and reshaping my silver birch after talking through the options with me They also gave valuable advice on its health and care going forward, tidied up, and even liked my coffee!

Found Harry and his team to be very professional throughout, would happily recommend to family and friends

I had 4 trees in my garden that were between 40-50 feet in height and becoming dangerous in the wind I gave harry a call and he was soon round to assess the situation. Afterwards he was soon round to the trees before any damage occurred. I am over the moon with the work Dedham Vale tree surgery carried out and I would recommend them to anyone they did a fantastic job very tidy and above all else very safe and very professional keep up the good work.

Top bloke is Harry!

I would recommend these guys to anyone. Friendly and professional, they did a great job when they reduced my oak and cherry trees. They were very knowledgeable about the trees and made sure to cut them back a healthy amount and at a time of year which caused the least damage to them. They were careful with my garden and did a great clean up afterwards too-my garden actually looked tidier than it was before! 5 stars *****

Harry came round and gave us a quote to get our hedges back in control and remove some branches from a monster eucalyptus. He is clearly very knowledgeable and great to deal with. We were delighted with the work done, it looks fantastic and they did a brilliant job tidying up after themselves. They can certainly come back again next year.

Harry and Tristan were very professional and knowledgable. Harry gave a very thorough consultation and quoted very competitively before carrying out the work and they cleaned up afterwards to a point that you wouldn't even know they had been there at all. Great to have a company who are so honest and good at what they do! Won't be going anywhere else from now on. Matt Pitcher

Having recently moved into a property with a garden containing very large and sadly neglected trees, which were too close and overhanging the property, we contacted several local tree surgeons. Harry Adams of Dedham Vale Tree Surgery stood out as the most responsive and reasonably priced of them all. He was able to give advice on the various options for the trees and possible effects on the soil conditions with respect to the property foundations. He and his team were well presented, well organised and courteous. They were very well equipped and safety conscious. They dismantled five large trees quickly and efficiently and organised the removal of many tons of timber leaving the garden tidy. A very professional job. We would be happy to recommend Dedham Vale Tree Surgery to anyone, regardless of the size of the job.

Very punctual, polite, well presented, very tidy, and completed the job in the estimated time and to the quoted price.

Everything happened exactly as planned. Arrived on time, team very courteous, removed tree (close to house) without any damage, all cleared away leaving lawn tidy and bill was as quoted. Will not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family. Langham, Colchester, February 2015.

Harry did an excellent job for me. The quality of his work is of a very high standard. He completes jobs on time and would have no hesitation in using him again

I have today had a great experience, a young professional team arrived on time and removed a sizeable Oak, leaving the area immaculate, clean and tidy . I would highly recommend them to anybody,

The Norway Maple is a beautiful tree, and ours was in need of a fair bit of TLC....the fine people at DVTS provided us with a spot-on service. Punctual, prepared and professional is how I would describe them. I was so happy with the pruning job they did for us, that they are now booked in to do our Silver Birch. Highly Recommended.
