My house boiler needed a repair. An engineer from Aquila came and executed the service quickly. Excellent company, recommended.

People are the heart and soul of any organisation. My Install was undertaken by the best. The admin support I could not fault. Basically they're really nice people to deal with.

Aquila Heating were recommended by a friend. I had used the same private heating engineer/plumber for years who then retired.I was a little anxious when I signed up with Aquila but after my first service last year and the second this year I am very happy with Aquila and have no hesitation in recommending them muself.

I got a very good new boiler installation by your engineer Paul. He completed the job with minimal fuss and in good time before I wanted to make my dinner. The new boiler is compact, powerful and looks dood in my kitchen.

I contacted this company to get a quote for a new boiler on the 3/9, I received an email confirming an appointment for the 15/9. A few days before the appointment I received another email confirming an earlier time I couldn't make and hadn't arranged which I had to tell them and arrange a 3rd appointment. They never turned for this and haven't contacted me since. Avoid unreliable.

Lovely family firm had a new boiler fitted Sales & Engineers all very helpful & friendly. Any concerns that I had they dealt with swiftly & professionally all staff I spoke with over the telephone were more than helpful. I would definitely recommend this Company based on the experience I had.

Made a video appointment to have a survey for electric car charger installation two weeks ago.The appointment was for midday,at 12.30 l rang Aquila heating regarding the appointment,answer l got the person who deals with survey is on sick. Surely the simple thing do do is check what appointments have been made and contact the customers concerned .No good keeping me waiting 30 mins for answer.ln end l said don't bother.

While the installation service was fairly priced, potential customers outside Warrington should note that travel fees apply to future repairs and servicing. For those based out of town, a local tradesperson might be a better fit. Or go with British gas or homeserve.

The guys came and dismantled my 30 year old free-standing combi boiler in situ, then installed my new wall-mounted combi boiler in its place. All this in a mobile home and not a drop of water anywhere that it shouldn't be!!!! Very impressive.

AVOID!!!!! You call for a problem, they come out and then tell you its a completely different issue after charging you for the first lot of work and then proceed to charge you more money!!! SCAMMERS!!! Terrible customer service, never reply to you, admit there was a miscommunication but still want to charge you nearly £450 for 1 small part change. (Didnt solve the problem so now want to charge another £400 to actually solve the problem)

Contacted to fix a leaking hot water tank (leaking through immersion). The fix took a number of visits due to unforeseen issues with the tank which meant a simple immersion replacement turned into a new hot water tank. Every engineer was friendly and did a very good job, re-booking of further appointments was really quick (within an hour of each job finishing) so plumbers were back as quickly as possible. Glad to report I can now have a hot shower … would definitely recommend these guys!

I've always had a very positive experience with Aquila since purchasing a boiler from them twelve months ago. Customer service is excellent and their engineers are always efficient, effective and friendly. After deciding to go with a local company, I couldn't have chosen better.

Aquila are always polite and efficient. We have their monthly payment contract which spreads the cost of our annual service. We have had several jobs done by them including a complete changeover from a system boiler to a brand new combi, a changeover to smart thermostats on all radiators, a replacement radiator, and would happily call them again if needed. No hesitation to recommend.

Over the years I have had a full central heating system, boiler service and now an EV charger. Small family business that look after their customers. The staff look after you and they are reasonably priced.

I have used Aquila for a heating issue I had in the past. So when my kitchen mixer tap broke I bought a new tap and had Aquila come and fit it. Nice guy called Zak came and despite it being a difficult job due to my kitchen design he managed to fit it and do a good job. Left no mess. Decent price for a full hours work. I would use them again.

An absolutely excellent company. I’ve dealt with five different members of staff over the last two years. First coming to fix an old boiler and then eventually to replace it. They’ve all been brilliant, the work has been carried out timely, cleanly and efficiently. All the members of staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve had a very good experience with this company. I had my old boiler replaced last year, and this year I had the first service; the team of engineers are very competent. Perhaps the cost is a little higher than other companies, but in my opinion they provide an excellent service.

Simply first class! From start to finish, , the team at Aquila were professional, prompt and on hand to answer any questions. In Short: - Made contact and arranged a survey on day one. - Surveyor came and went though the various options available (we had an air-conditioning unit installed). -Same day their quote was send over. -As I wanted to take advantage of their payment options, I was put through to one of the team that sorted this straight away! -Unit fitted within a week with the installer spending time to run through the user instructions. Would I recommend Aquila? 100% I would!

Would like to wholeheartedly thank the engineer who pulled over and helped me with my car in getting it off the road today. Whilst other cars driven past your member of staff pulled over and helped me get the car out the way and made sure I was alright after doing so. Not sure on his name sorry but it meant a great deal and I’m extremely thankful.

What an amazing service! I was looking for three-bedrooms to have air conditioning fitted, and I knew exactly what I wanted. However, after the home survey, I was completely blown away. There were no pushy sales tactics or attempts to upgrade me to all-singing, all-dancing air conditioning units. Instead, they advised me on what would work best for each room, explaining the features of each air conditioning unit. The most important feature for me was a slim design that would fit well in each room. They also explained all the external work involved, including my planning for the pipes to run from one gable end to the other in the attic to keep the outside appearance minimal. The engineers on the day were amazing. They sent me a text so I could track their eta, and they kept my house clean and tidy throughout the installation. Once the installation was complete, they explained each air conditioning unit’s functions and features and helped me set them up on the app. They were a credit to the company also like to mention the people who I spoke to on the phone in the office they are also amazing. Great local company highly recommend.

I can’t recommend Aquila Heating & Plumbing Ltd enough!! I changed my car to a hybrid therefore I needed to have an ev charger fitted. I am unfamiliar with technology and every single company that I enquired with told me to choose a charger on line (often 6/7 different ones to choose from) pay for it upfront and upload photos of complicated procedures which was impossible for me to do then they will come and fit it???!!! This is rediculous, confusing , unachievable, complicated and impossible for me to understand and to do. However Aquila Heating were FANTASTIC!!! Such an easy process from start to finish. Fantastic empathetic, professional polite staff made this process so easy and stress free. An engineer came to my property to access my house and the location for the ev charger. He advised and recommended which charger would be most suitable for my car. There was a choice of colours and styles for me to choose from. A date was booked to install the ev charger. Josh the electrician was fantastic. Very professional, patient, knowledgeable and really helpful. He explained everything to me so that I had confidence in the product and answered all of my many questions! He did not rush me. He is an asset to the company. I was so happy with every step of the process. The price was cheaper than all of the other companies and the after care is amazing. They are accessible and the whole team is absolutely amazing! A * service!

Aquila has checked our boiler twice (or three times?) and they have done a professional job on both occasions (not that I would know if they missed anything 😆 yeah but they did the jobs well) if there is one thing that could be improved , I’d say is the flexibility when things do not go as planned, and be as considerate to customers as much as they treasure their staff. The first time we asked for a check up the system (or was it the secretary ?) booked us in on a Friday and the technician conveniently fell sick (it’s weekend after all); we were booked in another day at last minute, no apologies and they just expect us to be available . If I was on a day job I’d have to take another day off for the task. This year the booking went much smoother and there was a disclaimer saying the initial booking is subject to change, which would be enough to resolve the issue we had last year. The technician arrived on time which was brilliant, but then we realised then that the carcass of our new larder door was blocking the boiler cover. Instead of booking another time to do the job, or calling the company for suggestions, the technician went on with it and did what he could, leaving out some parts due to inaccessibility. No one asked us what we wanted to do next, he just made the call for us. We were charged full price still, and was given a complementary price later to complete the check up (two thirds of the original price ), and the report was marked as “checkup completed”. They did remind clients by email to check the accessibility of the boiler before the visit, but this may be not much use as every boiler is installed differently , and most of us probably could not tell if there are any red flags. If we would do the checkup again next year, Aquila might already have more flexible solutions regarding the issues above. But I partly agree with some of the reviews, that service is very good as long as nothing goes wrong, and prepare to be charged full price regardless of the service quality/completion.

Came out to a broken boiler. We decided to go for a replacement, quote was given quickly. Work completed the next week, to the quote. Really easy to deal with. Great workmanship

Aquila Engineers did a great job fitting AIRCON in my home recently. At the time I thought I understood all the information I was given for controlling the system by the remote control and my mobile. I realised I didn't (because of old age) and asked for a follow up visit. The Engineer returned and patiently went through everything and I can now use the remote and mobile. Thanks Aquila.

Excellent communication from booking the appointment to completion of the job. Providing a route map about 20 minutes before the appointment with the engineer's location and ETA is brilliant. Our engineer, Dave Freeman arrived on time and carried out the work in a professional manner, giving me confidence in the quality of the work done. He showed me some minor faults which require attention before closing up the boiler, so I was able to see exactly what the problems were that he found and not feel I was being conned. Overall a superb service from Aquila, I shall continue to use your services and recommend you to others.

Small pipe repair job which was completed quickly and to a good standard. Engineer friendly and knowledgeable. The reason for the 3 stars is an issue with quoting / cost. If you call out of hours and end up with 'Alex' the virtual assistant, call back another time and speak to a member of the team to confirm the price. The price was incorrect from 'Alex' and more expensive when the invoice came through. When queried, it was an issue with the virtual assistant but the price is what it is. Hate to think of what the difference would be on a much more expensive job than what we had done - just a word of caution.

Very impressed with the service that Aquila provided. We've been looking at getting an air conditioning unit for one of our rooms. From start to finish they have been brilliant. Phil initially came to discuss what they could do for us and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He even said he would move a mounted TV for us, so we could have the air conditioning unit in the best place possible. They kept me updated with times etc when I gave them the go ahead and were very punctual. The fitting lads were also very friendly and professional and cleaned up all the mess after they had finish. I would definitely recommend them.

In June 2022 I decided that it was time to replace my 28 year old Baxi boiler with a new, more efficient design. On the basis of a personal recommendation I contacted Aquila and the boss came to my house and explained the best course of action including the make and model of boiler. I was very happy with the quotation and went ahead with the job. Professional, caring engineers under “team leader” Adrian Burgess, and at the end of day 2 my new system was up and running. As the old loft tanks were surplus to requirement, they were drained, cut up into smaller pieces and passed down through the loft hatch for disposal. (My neighbour’s old tanks were left in his loft when he had the same work completed the year before by a different Company!) I subsequently took out an Aquila care plan and have just had the boiler serviced & cleaned. I cannot speak highly enough of Aquila, their engineers/technicians, and the office staff who are always available to take my phone calls. I definitely made the right choice of Company 3 years ago! They are also very reasonably priced.

Chris was punctual, smart and extremely personable and extremely knowledgeable. Cannot recommend Chris and Aquila highly enough. This is our go to company should we need any further work. I phoned on the Monday to get a quote for a new boiler to be installed. By Tues morning one of the engineers had been, explained what I needed and gave me an excellent quote. I was kept upto date by text on when the engineers would be turning up on Thursday morning, Declan and Luc (a credit to Aquila) had the complete job done on the same day to an excellent standard, explained how the new system worked and by the time they left you'd never have know they'd been there. Highly recommended.

Needed a boiler service and fix on our central heating and got a recomendation for Aquila from family. Absolutely excellent service, very good communication from the team, the engineer Chris came promptly to do initial diagnositc and did the service the same day. We got different options and quotes same day to fix my issues plus my requested install of a HIVE system. Impressed with how proffesional Chris was as well as the quick turnaround on quotes, emails and invoices from the back office team. Had the 2nd visit today to fix our issues and install the HIVE system. Gone really well and again Chris was fantastic to deal with, super pleased with the whole experience: will be getting next years service done by the team for sure - highly recomend.

Exceptional Service. Where do I start? I was kept informed of when the engineers were going to arrive via text and tracking! The chaps that turned up to work on the installation were friendly, professional, tidy and treated me with respect - they didn't talk down to me and kept me informed of progress as the day went. Our boiler broke down, and Aquila were able to come out pretty quickly (we just had to managed for one day), and fixed it in a straightforward manner. The engineer explained just what was wrong (blocked condensation outlet) and why, and he checked other aspects of the boiler as well, like the pump which was making a bit of a dodgy noise. He also advised on the 'challenges' our particular ancient system presented and what we could do to improve things. We are very happy with Aquila's level of service (even though they are based around 20 miles from us).

I’m really impressed by Aquila from installation of the new boiler 3 years ago. This included converting my old open vented system to a fully sealed system. The work was completed in only 2 days and is excellent. The team worked efficiently and everyone knew what was expected of them (it seemed) with minimum guidance. Since then I’ve contracted with Aquila for ongoing maintenance as necessary which gives peace of mind. Aquila staff are friendly and helpful. Keep doing what you’re doing 👍

Excellent service all around. Firstly John who came out to see me about a new boiler. He explained everything clearly and easy to understand. Then Zac, the engineer. He was very professional and despite a few unexpected problems, not of his making, he did a fantastic job, he was very tidy. He took his time explaining the workings. Aquila installed 3 air conditioning units in the upstairs of our house. Following an onsite survey, their quote was very competitive and gave me full confidence in their ability to deliver to our requirements. There was an added advantage that they are a local company. Their team arrived on time and were very clean and tidy. They demonstrated great expertise and left us with an a/c system that works superbly well and looks great. It comes with remote control and an app on the phone for precise control. We’re very happy.

We like to try to keep things local, Aquila were recommended by a friend and we haven’t been disappointed. We needed our old boiler replaced and on our friends recommendation I asked Aquila for a quote, very pleased with the price and we have been very impressed with the work which has been done. On time, got on with the job

From the start, Aquila have been great. Phil came out to give me a quote for a boiler replacement and was really thorough, checking parts on the boiler to make sure there wasn't anything that could be fixed before jumping straight to a replacement. He explained each part to me and how the system works, and made some alterations to the pressure on some valves, to instantly improve efficiency. The boiler in question was really old and definitely in need of a replacement, despite Phil's best efforts to help me avoid the cost. The quote was the cheapest I received, with comparable guarantees/warranties and services, so I decided to go with Aquila. The work was done the following week by Pete and Luc. They turned up on time and were really polite, friendly and professional. They too explained everything they were doing, did an efficient and tidy job, and then checked everything over before leaving to make sure the system was working. Pete spent time explaining how to balance the pressure of my system if I found I wasn't getting an even spread of heat across my 3-storey house, showing me how to do it. Honestly can't fault anything from start to finish.

Just had a full boiler conversion, new boiler in a new location, carried out by Aquila. From start to finish, the whole process was seamless. It's a high standard of work, carried out by a great bunch of lads. Perhaps I could have shopped around and got the job done for slightly less, but why mess around to save a couple of quid. Perfectly nice and professional to begin with, the engineers were efficient and clean, but the installation of boiler was not done to specifications, they then overcharged us and were horrible when we tried to resolve the matter. Would not recommend.

Having noticed water coming through a concrete floor I found Aquila through Which? Trusted Traders and called them for advice. A plumber came round the following day but further work was required. This was arranged for 2 days later and the team that came, thankfully, managed to find the leak and mend it. At all times the staff were courteous and gave the impression that they really cared about doing a good job. I was very impressed, the total cost was reasonable and I would have no hesitation in calling on them in the future.

I just wanted to say that Karl Crowley was brilliant. He obviously did a great job servicing the boiler but also took time out to answer questions we had and even helped us set up the timer on the thermostat, he was really patient and helpful. We have just moved into the house and Karl’s visit really helped us. He’s a credit to Aquila Heating & Plumbing.

Engineer arrived 2 hours late to do a leak diagnostic and left without locating the leak or suggesting a remedy. I subsequently received a quote for £850 worth of work (service, thermostat installation and filter) but the quote had many items missing. The new quote was 1300. They couldn't get the basics right so I am going with another company.

Aquila heating & plumbing did an excellent job of removing an old floor mounted boiler and installed a new combi system in my dads bungalow a few years ago. Since then, they've provided an excellent yearly service through their internal warranty scheme and most recently installed new slimline rads in every room. Have used them for many years now and can't fault their professionalism, customer service or punctuality.

After obtaining quotes from several different companies. We definitely made the right choice with Aquila for our new boiler installation. I have been using Aquila Heating & Plumbing for the past 2 yrs. I had various issues with the heating system (installed by other company), Aqulia have been able to resolve and at same time improve the system. The level of customer service is market leading providing me options how to solve issues and how best to keep costs to a minimum. I will again later this year be using Aqulia to carry out yearly maintenance of the system.

Let me be clear that I have had no bad experiences with the engineers that Aquila utilize. My grievance is the shockingly poor customer service. Their phone representatives are unnecessarily rude and abrupt as soon as you have the slightest issue. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere and save yourself hassle.

Boiler replacement. Great company, explained everything, nothing was too much trouble. Lads were polite, worked very hard, took time to explain everything and cleaned up afterwards. Absolutely no complaints. Very well done guys.

When we bought our house back in November last year the existing boiler was leaking and didn’t work properly. After we have had two plumbers in our house who only had a brief look on the old one and where happy to quote for a new boiler, we rang Aquila and they sent Phil around. He discovered that a seal was broken and the exhaust gases were burned again by the boiler which in fact is a life threating danger. As a safety measure Phil shut down the main gas supply and came back with a replacement seal on the next day. It speaks for itself that Phil has sourced the cause of our problem rather than just ignoring it and just replacing the whole boiler! Eventually we had our boiler replaced by Aquila a few months later towards the summer and the service, commercially as well as mechanically, was nothing short of exceptional. On top of the boiler replacement we had a new gas hob fitted and an additional radiator installed in our conservatory – all done in one day. That took from precisely 9 am to 5 pm. Absolute spot on! There is always someone to speak to when you ring, they always try to fit the appointment around your daily schedules and the engineers are very well trained and really friendly. We will have the service carried out for our new boiler from no one else than Aquila Heating!
