Fabulous work from this lot, couldn’t ask for better.

I've just had my old combi boiler replaced through LD Eco , with a brand new Ideal COMBI condensa c30 which now heats up the rad. at the furthest part of my kitchen ,which my old combi failed to do. Also replaced thermostats with modern ones ,that have boost buttons on them. Press the button and more heat will be sent to that rad. Without heating up the whole bungalow. The team that carried out the work were polite and efficient, plus cleaned up after them. I would recommend this company.

All the information about how to control and adjust settings to run economically and efficiently provided electronically and hard copies. I would recommend this company unreservedly. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of my home. The process was clearly explained, and the work was completed on time with minimal disruption. The installers were tidy and courteous, and the quality of the insulation and heating upgrades has already made a noticeable difference in comfort and energy usage. The work that was carried out at my property exceeded my expectations of what was originally planned. The workforce that attended throughout the week were very professional. On first arriving at my home I was introduced to Dan and I explained about my dogs I have in my home. Dan and his two work colleagues embraced my furry companions and didn’t appear fazed by them. They spoke through the planned work for the next two days, so I was aware of timescales and what time they would be finishing. Dan and his colleagues were respectful of my home and laid down protective floor covering throughout the home. A very nice touch as we only recently had the carpets laid. I personally do not like workmen in the home as it disrupts things and especially my dogs. The whole workforce made me feel so at ease and my dogs appeared to enjoy their company. I am a firm believer that if a dog doesn’t like a person then you are to be wary of that person. My dogs followed the workmen around and waited outside of room doors to see them, this is a testament to their calming nature. The work they completed on the outside pipes was so professional and aesthetically pleasing, as this was my main concern. As I have seen homes where the pipes look absolutely atrocious and there has been no care or pride in the workmanship. This is definitely not the case with this company. I thoroughly checked the work when everything was completed and the workers were happy to make a little change, nothing was too much for them. Simon visited the property to turn the gas back on and he is also a lovely man; I complimented him on his choice of workers for his team. We also had an assessor turn up to observe one of the college youngsters. He introduced himself and thanked us for letting him in our home to conduct his assessment. The assessor also took the time to say goodbye, which is a nice touch. If I required more work completed in the home, I would want this work team. They made me feel safe in my own home and that is a huge bonus for anybody having work completed. Respectful, courteous, thorough and a pleasure to have these gentlemen in my home.

The team have just done our internal wall insulation and they've done a brilliant job! They worked very hard and to a very high standard and left everywhere clean and tidy too, we are very pleased and can't recommend them highly enough, thank you! We've now had our solar panels and heat pump and new central heating installed. We had a couple of leaks but these were dealt with very quickly and over a bank holiday weekend which was much appreciated! All seems fine now and we're very happy overall with finished job and looking forward to a warm house next winter. Thank you.

Friendly and quick service

It is now 6 months since the company installed the ECO4 package on our property - long enough for me to comment on the process from application, to planning, installing and working. In all areas I am happy to award the 5 star rating. The planning was pretty seamless and things moved at a sound rate. The office staff led by Tina, handled any queries in a friendly and professional manner. The installation was carried out by teams of highly competent and hard working tradesmen. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they worked around our daily needs living in the house. As for the system up and running, I have found nothing to cause me any concerns. Everything is as it should be and I am a very contented customer of LD Eco Ltd

LD Eco recently installed a heat pump and solar panels for me. The application process was smooth and the team were helpful in getting that side sorted. The time between submission of application and the installation was a few months, but I was made aware of that from the start. A special mention to Tina, Scott and Jonah who have been very professional and helpful throughout. The installation team were courteous and tidy. We had one problem, but it was fixed and rectified in less than 24 hours! Thank you!

LD Eco attended my mother’s property to complete cavity wall insulation and ventilation through a government grant. The cavity insulation has had an instance impact, really helping retain the heat in the property. I’d also like to highlight the excellent work from Simon and Chris, who installed trickle vents throughout the property and also installed the vent in the bathroom from the outside, tidying up after themselves. Electricians Jack and Liam were also fantastic, following after to ensure everything was wired up properly and professionally. All in all, the lads were punctual, polite and clean and really made my mother feel comfortable in her own home and I’d recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks all + LD Eco for the good work completed!

Jesse, Simon and the team from LD Eco were great from start to finish. They installed an air source heat pump, water tank and new radiators throughout our house. They were professional, efficient and very respectful of our home and family. They worked hard and completed the job in four days and made a point of communicating progress and expectations to us at all times. I would highly recommend this company.

Although some issues nearly a year after putting application in work has finished, especially big thanks to Tina who works in the office, very polite and got everything sorted! work that was done I couldn't fault and the workmen were all lovley and professional, very quick and left no mess! One year plus after installation. Had Eco wrap on sons house. Shocking regarding snagging list and bully tactics regarding pressuring Son who has disability to sign off work regardless of below. It wasn't until I arrived and told them that nothing is getting signed off until work completed. They got put of their van and sorted a few things out but told me they couldn't fix pipes as not their job. 1 outside window ledge roughly cut off then stuck back on (after calls to office) small gap still left allowing moisture penetration. 2 Hole left under roof when roof that had to be extended. 3 two windows would not open post eco wrap and render. 4 pipes left loose and flapping about on walls. 5 guttering damaged. Son paid to have fixed. Gate not reinstalled post work. Son paid to have it reinstalled. Material left on top of roof. Scaffolding left up at property six Months after fit causing other works to be put on hold. Dec 2025. Outside stink pipe came away from wall. Paid a contractor to inspect and he noted that LD Contractor whoever they were, had just pushed the screws into the polystyrene eco wrap and never even bothered to drill them in. More expense to householder and worryingly could have cause moisture penentration. All of the above jobs were EVENTUALLY fixed except the reinstallation of stink pipe, guttering and side gate but all in all, shoddy work and awful Contractors who couldn't even be bother to clean up after themselves, leaving screws all over the ground and mastic splodges on ground. Many calls thereafter to LD to get rectification done. Unsure which subbies LD used but in my opinion they need to get rid of them. Now consider getting a survey done on the whole installation and reporting to ombudsmen! You have been warned!!!

The installation team recently installed a new central heating system in my elderly Aunt's house. The guys were on time and very polite and answered all our questions. Protective layers were put on all the carpets and on completion any mess eg.packaging, was cleared up. So overall a very professional and polite experience with a very friendly installation team. Well done guys.

From the start i have been delighted with the service provided by tina in the office, connor the surveyor, the lads that came to fit more loft insulation, a new bathroom electric fan, new upvc window vents. The inspector that came to over see there lads work was as happy as i am with there work. The boiler plumbing team were outstanding as the place was full of storage boxes and furniture they had to move so much to get the job done, and what a job it is a new boiler top of the shopping list to be replaced as my old boiler wasnt maintained by previous owner and was broken. The new worster is quiet stunning and doing an awesome job. Im over the moon and very very grateful to all at ld for this grant. Thanks guys. Id highly recommend any one using this company. If in doubt ask if you qualify.

What an utter shower ! Avoid at your peril . Cant project manage , cant communicate

this company sucks , called in drilled holes in walls , no refilled , said can have work done , then months passed, just mad with then , so poor. have called to ask what is happening , they we will call u back , never do....

The whole process from checking whether we were eligible for the Goverment grant through to the final installation was handled professionally and courteously. Communication was above and beyond what we were expecting. The installation team were excellent and kept me informed as to what they were doing and when questions were raised they answered immediately. I have no qualms at all of recommending this company.

Just had solars & 8 radiators & fitted our towel rail and new air source heat pump fitted through the government grant. Excellent service, professional tradesman completed the work to a great standard! I can see that people have left bad reviews but I can assure you the work carried out was to a very high standard and I highly recommend LD eco!

Every single complaint on this review site is what’s happening to us now. I’m looking for customers with complaints to get in touch with me and collectively go to the local MP to bring this to attention. 3 months since this company started installing internal wall insulation and the job is still unfinished. The vapour barier is exposed and not sealed anywhere. The plasteres missed areas. Sockets have been buried inside the walls Sockets have not been put back onto insulated walls and are flopping on the floor The plasterers walked off with over £100 of my tools The electricians took all of my brass socket faceplates and then replaced them with very cheap and flimsy plastic ones The list goes on. I have been attempting to contact them for over a month and havent spoken to anyone. This company is criminal.

Arrived promptly, carried out work efficiently, and even rang me back the following day to check all OK. Caring workman!!

None existent after sales service.They left my 88 year old mother with no hot water or heating for 8 days .No one answered the phone or returned emails IMO they are not fit to on this program. They also caused water damage to the flat below .

Stay well away - insulation grant still Ongoing after a year - bad workman ship came to rectify and it’s just as bad and now not responding / stay well away and get professionals in - they been paid by grant and now the work is incomplete - go elsewhere anywhere else but to these - the boss Frazer hasn’t even bothered even looking at the work that’s how interested he is in the company

Solar panel grant installation never worked out but eventually came clean and gave full refund plus 50£ goodwill brucey. Very much appreciated. Thank you

We had a boiler fitted by LD Eco which required some subsequent improvements, the engineer they sent Adrian Madge was the most knowledgeable and polite repair man my wife and I have ever known. Top marks for him.

Card put through my letterbox for grant work on the house (heating and insulation). I couldn't even call the number provided. Judging by the other negative reviews here, looks like it was a blessing in disguise!

Rude and unreliable. Rescheduled 3 times, before finally just cancelling the job altogether after drilling holes in our walls that we are now stuck with. Choose someone else for your grant.

Followed up with already delayed appointments, as I couldn’t wait around all day, just to check when they would arrive (roughly) but was quickly told “This is a free service” as if my time didn’t matter, and promptly on the phone, all of a sudden, “oh, they are changing the day as we speak!” I couldn’t do that day, so they just cancelled the entire job, there and then.

It is true, this company, LD Eco ltd have recently done my First Time Central Heating installation with the full government affordable heating grant which means nothing-to-pay. The new boiler system was top energy rated and good quality parts and fitting. I recommend going through with it as it was not much hassle. The company is experienced and sorts it all out for you. I was a big sceptic but am very pleased now. The energy used is much lower so very good for my bills and also those polar bears need us to get this done everyone. I'm setting it at about 19 degrees, insulation fitted, windows closed and just enjoying the comfy new efficient system.

Very poor communication, got floors all ready for underfloor insulation, this was lifting up tiles and laminate floiring, five weeks later still waiting, when phoning office no one seemed to know what was going on or when they would be out, have now cancelled

The three lads that came to do the underfloor insulation were brilliant.very polite and professional.A credit to the company and their parents,very good manners,kept me informed the whole way through the work.They made a small hole in the floor boards which was hardly noticable afterwards.
