Just had a new kitchen put in and I love it. All the workers were very friendly and would talk to me. As someone who suffers with bad anxiety, I felt at ease and on the last day, the finisher did an incredible job. Thank you so much for my fresh start

Very disappointing experience I would not recommend this company based on our experience. We had a bathroom fitted and subsequently suffered multiple leaks. After several visits and further problems, it was eventually accepted that the bath had been installed incorrectly and was not sitting properly in its cradle. The consequences have been awful. Our home has suffered significant water damage and our belongings have been damaged, including our sofa. We have now been left without a sofa for 3 weeks. I am disabled, so being left without suitable seating for this length of time has had a significant impact on us. The most frustrating part has been the lack of urgency and communication. We have repeatedly had to chase for updates and are now being told that the matter is with their insurers. Meanwhile, we are the ones left dealing with the consequences of an installation that they have accepted was carried out incorrectly. We just want our damaged belongings properly replaced or compensated for and this situation brought to an end. This review is based entirely on our personal experience. After everything that has happened, I would not use this company again literally no one has a clue even more so the managers there a joke.

This company has left us without a home to live in and still nothings being done. We had a review that the bath was incorrectly installed causing all of these damages and after speaking this morning who knows the bath was incorrectly installed there trying to be sneaky, which only means there trying to do us over as well as ruin our home and 6 weeks holidays with the kids. Do not think about using this company also anyone at ongo housing if these have installed a bathroom check it because they don't put the middle legs in so eventually your bath with go next.

Absolutely appalling experience — over a year of problems, call-outs and being treated completely unfairly. We have had an extremely stressful and upsetting experience that has been going on for over a year. What started as a small bathroom job has turned into an ongoing nightmare, with numerous call-outs, repeated issues and leaks, resulting in our furniture and belongings being ruined. Throughout all of this, we have tried to remain patient, calm and reasonable. We have raised concerns and given them opportunity after opportunity to put things right. We are also classed as vulnerable and have existing mental and physical health issues, which makes the way we have been treated all the more distressing. Instead of feeling listened to or supported, we have been made to feel as though we are a nuisance. The way we have been spoken to and treated has been absolutely unacceptable. What has made the situation even more upsetting is being told today that some lady, who works there, has allegedly tried to get us kicked out of our home simply because we have finally started complaining about the situation. After staying quiet, patient and calm for more than a year while dealing with the consequences of work that was supposed to be a relatively small bathroom job, it is incredibly upsetting to feel that making legitimate complaints about leaks, damage and ongoing problems could potentially be used against us. Nobody should be made to feel like this in their own home, particularly someone who has been identified as vulnerable. We did not ask for this situation. We simply wanted the work completed properly, the problems resolved, our belongings protected and to be treated with basic dignity and respect. This has caused us an enormous amount of stress and distress, and based on our experience, we would have serious reservations about recommending this organisation to anyone.

Matt and his work force are amazing they couldn't do enough to make sure everything was how i wanted it .i would recommend them for private, contract work and landlord's to use them they didn't cut corners the job was done better than promised best workmen I've ever had in to do work i would have them in everytime i need anything doing i can't praise them enough no more living with mould can't tell it was ever there not just a wipe down they took it back to brick wall, treated, plastered and painted as i said left it better than was told it would be don't hesitate phone and get the job done with the right workmen polite helpful

Matthews and tannert just finnished our kitchen, the lads were all polite and helpful any issues they fixed without problem, honestly some of the best work and workers we have had in our home

Very pleased with the results, the service technician s did not leave any mess it was always tidied up after they completed a job , lovely pleasant staff who got on with the task of fitting and finishing bathroom. Over come any difficulties with the small bathroom with no fuss , finished to a high standard, Claire kept me informed at all times as to what was happening. Yes job well done and delighted with the end result.

My kitchen was fit for use 5 days ago, however im still without a gas cooker, a washing machine, a dishwasher, all i get is excuses The bathroom is allso not finished, no radiators either, it was made clear from beggining i would need a double pipe fitment under my kitchen sink Work started on 2nd june, we go away on tea time 18th will it be finished mmmm???

M&T were employed by the housing association I rent from to fit a new wet room. The work was scheduled to be completed in two weeks and we are now into the fourth week and snagging issues are still outstanding. I found that communication between myself and M& Ts site management was poor.Also despite being given a contract by the housing association to complete 175 properties M&T experienced difficulties in sourcing materials to complete the works. Although most of the work was completed to a satisfactory standard I feel that M&T should have had all materials sourced and available to complete the works to a standard that is acceptable to me.In fairness M&Ts resident liaison officer for this contract left before the works on my property were started but surely the two managers on site Adam and Terry should have been able to liaise better with me than they did.

Having kitchens done are not the best. Your team made it as painless as possible. They were lovely. They tolerated my dog and disabled mum. The result is beautiful. We are very happy with both the kitchen and your team.they could not have been more kind and helpful.

Absolutely an amazing job. Extremely happy with the results. Workers, site manager and Jay the liason manager were all extremely polite. Hard workers and couldn't ask for a better team

Excellent work so much better now bathroom has been upgraded 👍 we are happy with all aspects of the 10 day process 💁‍♂️ the only small gripe i had was they didn't always close back gate which is a small moan but an open gate is an invitation to the numties to walk in 🤷‍♂️ many thanks for making the process liveable 👍

Fantastic team, excellent work with meticulous attention to detail! From the design team (thank you Adam) to the plasterers, plumbers, kitchen fitters, painters, flooring and finishers - Some of the best in the business in my opinion, I would have them back to do any room in my house!! Lincoln based - Matt the site manager had such attention to detail he saw things we missed when any other company would just be happy that you were happy with the results but this company wants perfection and they give it! I have had my new bathroom works carried out by M&T at Lace housing and am delighted with works by the Team who were on site . Especially Jay who was most helpful throughout

Worse company I have ever dealt with. Brand new bathroom looks worse than my previous bathroom. Please avoid! Such shoddy work, constantly doing things wrong including fitting a bath the wrong way, then plumbing it in backwards, we are left with a broken leaky toilet, dodgy fitting of plastic and wooden boxing around pipes (one of which was replaced a second time because they left a massive crack in it), leak in pipes when showering or letting out bath water. The bath isn’t fitted correctly so one side is slanted meaning anything placed on it falls into the bath. It took three attempts to have the correct size shower rail fitted because they threw out mine (after confirming twice it would be saved). We had tiles replaced a number of times because of this. We are having to replace toilet seat because this won’t stay still. We were fitted with a new extractor which turned out to be broken. These trade people do not communicate with each other and therefore do the wrong work and have to come back and rectify it. Some of which have had a bad attitude towards me when I have pointed out it’s wrong or faulty. An 11 working day job lasted a month and we have had to correct a lot of the work our self. Not one of them clean up after themself, many haven’t turned up on days they were supposed it. Nightmare company. I would be ashamed if I do work to this level. The photos don’t even show how bad it is.

Very professional, if there's a problem they are only too happy to rectify and will do so swiftly. Good communication and trustworthy company

I have had a brand new bathroom and shower fitted.... Its taken a few days...but every single workman that has come in to do some work on it have been absolutely brilliant. The bathroom is looking AMAZING....I couldn't be more thrilled with what they've all done... I would totally recommend Matthews Tannert...they've done a fantastic job Thankyou

Kitchen falling apart after 2 years. Had several repairs done by ONGO in this time. Absolute cowboys. Guess because its social housing, the job doesn't need to be done effectively eh. Stay well away. They are a joke.

Don't let this lot anywhere near your bathroom. We have had it in less than 2 weeks and had to have the council out to look at it because we have a leak in the upstairs bathroom that has now come through the ceiling. Apparently the site supervisor was meant to come back round after it was finished to check not that we have seen him since. The bathroom floor is soaked and have had to have all the box work off to find where the leak is coming from.

Not happy at all bathroom only in a week and had water marks that they asked if was there before the work was done told them no, aswell as ending up with water coming thought the ceiling, lucky it was sorted out by a Plummer I know.

Lee came to do my mum’s wet room in her council bungalow ; (Warsop )and I must say what a fantastic job he did , he went above and beyond with everything he did , thank you Lee from Olive and Bev

Fantastic what a fantastic job. And the workers were so polite. Helpful. And caring.. so sad thay have done. I will miss them stupid gossip people going around saying there bad. Not turning up when thay should. Also taking too long. But ask them why coz if there is a problem why thay can't do job. Thay will tell you.. thay text me every day. .

I'd like to thank everyone from Matthews and Tannert for all of their hard work over the last week or two. All of their workmen were polite, helpful and have done us proud with a kitchen and bathroom that looks absolutely fantastic! They completed our stop tap repair very quickly. Cleaning up after he had finished. I would highly recommend Matthews &Tannert.

Just having my kitchen fitted by these cowboys they have been doing the kitchen for 3 weeks yesterday they put my kitchen units in and the kitchen fitter and the otber bloke that helped him carry the units into my property as dented all down the side of my fridge freezer they have had a plumber to disconnected my gas cooker that as just done his gas safe certificate but then he told me yesterday when he came to plumb my washer back in when i asked him to plumb my gas cooker back in that he is not allowed to plumb it back in because he as not got enough experience to do it so if he as not got enough experience to plumb it in then why is he tackling it out and to top it off when he disconnected my gas cooker he never checked it to see if there was gas leaking from the cap end god forbid it wasn't leaking because i have got my 16 year old daughter living with me and i live in a block of 4 flats on the top floor so anything could have happened and to top it all off the gas safe engine that as come today to plumb my cooker back in as condemned my cooker so i have got nothing to cook food on for me and my daughter i would not have this so call company do any work in my property ever again its disgusting how they have left my property in this state for 3 weeks and it still is not finished and now they have condemned my cooker i have got to somehow get the money together to buy a new one and i am a single dad

I once again have encountered another of these muppets on the road. The vans are a disgrace (surprised they pass the mot) Driving with such disregard to others on the road. Tailgating a car and then proceeded to force me off the road. No interest in what he done wrong the driver sped away. Dashcam footage will be sent to the police tonight, again.

If you have a choice DO NOT have this company doing a refit. I'm 8 weeks into a 3 week refit ,every job that has been done has had to be redone ,the workmen s standards are that poor its unbelievable. Fitting lino ontop of plaster rubble ,wiring electrics wrong ,plaster bowing ,there's one good man in that company his name is Tony he's a finisher. He cares, he won't bodge it ,but then he spends most the time clearing up the previous workmans mistake. They are a joke. Rogue Traders

Jay kept us informed of everything that was going on, when the workman were turning up and what they are doing etc, she even came to the house as well to make sure Mum was ok with everything. All the workman turned up on their days and on time. Mums kitchen is lovely, great job done by everyone. Thank you very much, Jay, Steve and everyone else.

Absolutely disgraceful company the wetroom they was doing for me failed on day 2 when 2 young plasters called & what a mess they was making they was getting more plaster on the floor than the walls & ceiling ,I watched them trying to scim the ceiling & it kept plopping on the floor & they was laughing, I said to them I don't find it funny & one said what's up mate I said you're getting it all over the floor & trending into all over even in my hall to my kitchen. I told them to keep out my kitchen I'll run a hose pipe to the front of my property, well what a mess they was making plaster all up my outside wall,on the concrete outside,down my path,on the public path,on the road & they was cleaning there tools & buckets in the roadside curb rain drain they even tipped half a bucket of leving compound down the drain & worst of all my car was parked next to the road drain & they had sprayed plaster all over the back of my car & by the time they had gone home & I went to my car it had all dried in i had to take it to a car wash. There site manager is just as bad as them he says one thing then does another also he is a bigger liar than Pinocchio & it looks like he has trying putting the blame on me to why the wetroom refit went on a further week. Matthew & Tennant management are good for one thing though " They Keep Saying Sorry ". It's been 4 weeks of He'll & a complete nightmare... ( " IN RESPONSE TO MATTHEW & TANNERT REPLY " ) = " Like I have said there is one thing Matthew & Tennant are good at & that is saying sorry & making excuses & I am afraid it does reflect on your so called called high standards & that is why you have so many 1 star reviews, anybody who looks at the photos I have posted of your shoddy workmanship & absolutely disgraceful mess your workers make & not to mention the amount of times you have to send them back to finish work it's to daft to laugh at, i noticed you did not mention in your reply why your plasteres was washing their tools and & buckets in the roadside rain drain & even tipping a half bucket of leaving compound down it & spraying plaster all over the back of my car, you even have a post on your Facebook page how much you care about the environment ?, i can honestly say I have seen odd jobs men do better work & been a hell of a lot more tidier " " FACT ! I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Matthews & Tannert Ltd. A contractor representing their company urinated in a cup in my kitchen — a shocking and deeply disturbing act that has left me feeling violated and unsafe in my own home. After this incident, I was offered money along with a disclosure agreement, which felt more like an attempt to silence me than to take proper responsibility. I have also sent several emails that have gone completely unanswered, showing a total lack of care, professionalism, and respect. What’s worse, any acknowledgement of what happened has only been said to my face — I have yet to receive any full written accountability from the company. At the very least, I expect a formal written apology and a clear explanation of the actions taken to address this incident and prevent it from happening to anyone else. I strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when dealing with Matthews & Tannert Ltd.

Had a full re wire, new kitchen and bathroom by the lads working in the Mansfield area. The work was second to none. Nothing was to much trouble, they went above and beyond to make it the smoothest process possible. I was updated every single morning without fail on who to expect that day. All my belonging and furniture was looked after and protected. They turned a stress job into a good laugh, they were well worth all the cups of T! Can’t recommend them all enough. Thanks so much for all your hard work!

Had a new kitchen fitted by Mathews and Tannert and couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the whole process was meticulously monitored, by Terry Broughton and Debbie Fuller. They ensured everything was done right and on time and relayed information daily, as to what would be happening. From the first tradesman to the last, each and every one were polite, professional and left the area they were working on clean and tidy. A special mention to Simon, one of the finishers, he really takes pride in his work and makes sure everything is right, to ensure the job is finished in a professional way and of a high standard. Mathews & Tannert have just completed my bathroom-(Now a beautiful wet room). All the workers, plumber, decorator, tiler, electrician etc were absolutely fabulous. Their professionalism is outstanding. ALL professions knew their jobs & just got on with it. I felt among friends & family. One thing I noticed as well was the respect they had for each other, very refreshing to see. They relaid from one to the other exactly what was going on all the time. Hand over was so smooth at ALL times & ALWAYS informative to each other. Thank you guys ALL of you. I couldn’t have paid for a better service. I feel lost now my new found friends have gone. With all professions from Matthew and Tannert, there is nothing at all to complain about! I had my work started at beginning of December and they pulled together to make sure it was completed before Christmas to make it extra special. They was professional, friendly and above all else considerate and thoughtful. Anyone who has complains about these workers in their houses are ungrateful these men work hard to make your house a home. Be welcoming and appreciate the help these grafters are doing for you. Great Company, a pleasure to deal with.

Well where do i start. Inconsiderate. Blocking my driveway continually. Five vans using next door has a doss house. Using peoples heating. Music on full blast. No letter to say they would be doing damp proofing, duty of care. Shouting in and out of house. Slamming doors. Sawing items im middle of walkway had to walk round him. Double parked. Did i say INCONSIDERATE.

Just had my boiler fixed and the lady over the phone (forgot name, I think it’s Susan) was amazing!! Great customer service and communication!! Wonderful staff! Fixed my boiler in no time and even came a day earlier! I have a warm house especially for my son, thank you so much guys and I recommend these people!!!!

Just had my bungalow refurbished. And just got to say love ❤️ it now decorating finished I can relax in my comfortable home. After being flooded in october 2023.. I cannot thank these people enough for what they have done to my house, it still needs painting before can move back in, but the kitchen & bathroom looks great. THANKS to IAN for the great job. Xx

With how idiotic they drive in downpour rain, I wouldn't trust them with my odd jobs! Edit to add reg: --18 UKH driving towards Mansfield on Thursday 22nd

They left broken shards of tile on the path resulting in my dog damaging their pad.

Great job done by the guys who came round to replace my boiler, quick and efficient service. The work done was nice and tidy. Great to have my boiler now working as it should.

I have to say that reading these comments I was uneasy at having them to put in a bathroom/wet room for my Gran via the council. My experience was that they reacted to concerns or questions raised and anything that required attention was done so on the day. Every single trades person was polite, tidy and approachable. The job looks good and my gran is pleased which is the main thing! The job did over run but I was mostly kept informed with the exception of a couple of hiccups. Everyone whomever spoke to me or was working in the background has my thanks for making this as painless as possible.

Local cowboy company who are extremely unprofessional and the standard of their work is appalling. If you have any respect for your property, do not use this company to carry out any form of works.

Honestly don’t bother! They turn up when they want, there’s days that go by where nobody bothers turning up. Then you get told well that’s normal. They send one person a day to do one job (sometimes a 5 minute job) you can never get through to anybody! And the liaison officer wow what a joke….. we are on week 3 with the three children 2 of which are autistic and myself with OCD, and still no where to being finished. Some of their employers have no pride or consideration in their work either! We also found out yesterday that when removing our oven they broke the back clip for the wires!

I am making this complaint on behalf of my best friend . This company were tasked with the kitchen replacement and was promised a 3 week max turnaround . . 3 weeks has turned into 10 weeks and still not finished. Shoddy workmanship, electrics cut off to her pantry and she’s had to battle to get it done and it’s still not been completed. Trunking bodge job, massive cracks in the walls, no cupboard door For under sink. A leak was left under the sink BEHIND the panel. Burn marks left from welding pipes under sink as they didn’t use any protective heat pads . Carpet protectors were not laid until a week had passed and thus absolutely trashed the carpets . Boxing of pipes not completed . Rude contractors (do not appreciate swearing with young Children about , very unprofessional) Days between visits , no communication and she had to chase it up to even get anyone out . All in all, I would implore North East Derbyshire district council / Rykneld Homes to contract these jobs out to someone else as this has gone on way too long and for it to STILL not been done is nothing short of scandalous and unacceptable. DO BETTER

Didn't visit them attended a company vehicle with a flat tyre they were more than helpful supplied me with a compressor if they can be this good to someone not using there service,I believe the service to there customers must be out standing.

Poor work do not care if you have no water or cooking facilities DO NOT USE THEM there employees have not got a clue

Poor service on our bathroom refurb, not only is the work quality shocking but timeframes are rubbish

Had a kitchen fitted was told it would take upto 10 working day ,it took closer to 3 month.. noone turned up when supposed to (if your lucky you will get a text saying noone is coming today),Work men did ten minutes then sat in van for 2 hours..There is still snags that I'm not happy with...No pride in their work ,Don't answer to calls but may get back to a text message not always though ..One of the electricians was great from start to finish 👏.. pity the rest of the team weren't like him.

Been to my house 3 times to fix the same leak, in the end I did it myself to find the pipes had been cut at a 30 degree angle stevie wonder and a butter knife would of been better., I will say the gentleman that did come 3 times was a nice chap

Just had a new kitchen fitted, and from day one we were at ease. Every day we were informed what was happening on that day, the workmen are very professional and nothing was to much trouble. Would highly recommend.

New kitchen installation - Nearly 3 weeks at nearly Christmas without power/water/etc.Estimate was 10 days. Kitchen nowhere near finished even now.Tiling done by Stevie Wonder in the dark (jagged edges to tiles, tiled over window frame at one point). Cupboard door opens onto washing machine.Plumbing needs attention (exterior tap pulled out of wall). Wall units have to come off walls and be re-done, no base to one cupboard).Prepayment meter sited in inaccessible location.Endless days waiting in for workmen who never arrive. Poor communication. Shoddy workmanship in some cases.How on earth are these people still in business? Already contacted manager - he did not get back to us.........

Came to do our kitchen a couple of years ago still never finished now they have been put on more work on my house and they either don't turn up or 1 person does they send there staff to different jobs instead of getting 1 done and ticking it off the list bad organisation all round. A job that should take a few days is now into a few weeks it's disappointing that a company is like this.

Installed a wet room for me the workmanship was absolutely brilliant Bobby aka Paul the main man was brilliant work was spot on , he cleaned up everyday before he left and explained everything he was doing can’t fault him also Pete, Aiden the electrician and Carl the guy who laid the floor well done all of you thank you so much

To call them cowboys would be far to complimentary. Toilet pans at an angle, builders waste under the bath then sealed up. Factual INEXACTITUDES told to my landlords, 4 week job takes 4 months and all the issues are back by the 6th month. Truly dreadful.

Supposed to have come on 21st jan 2020 to do my bathroom flooring, told me to be ready for 9am, took everything out of bathroom ready and they didnt turn up.. finally managed to get through to person in charge at 3pm who finally told me no one would be coming today, no actual reason given and still waiting for the floor to be done and a new appointment to be given as of 6th jan 2021

Plaster was left on the walls and they couldn't be bothered to clean it.They disrespected my home and if I could rate it 0 stars I would.Whilst fitting the sink and toilet in they chipped it. My toilet before was good quality and durable but the new toilet is so cheap. The toilet is leaking aswell. Why is the council letting these cowboys in my home!?They don't care. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

Awful company, never turn up and when they do they have done the job wrong. Iv had problem after problem still am this has been going on months. Today was the last straw for me after fitting a second based unit under kitchen sink to come down this morning to a flooded and I mean flooded kitchen all new cupboards damage new appliances now left with no water till Monday oh that's if they show up. Can't even flush the toilet. The job was meant to start in February we are now at the start of October was meant to be two weeks work. Would say not even half way there. Iv never known such useless contractors Ever!! Iv never left a review for anything until this.

After being out of our property for 6 months for work to be done, we have come back & the majority of the work has got to be redone PROPERLY. They were supposed to fix the roof/chimney ( it’s still leaking ) they were supposed to sort the side door so it didn’t leak ( it’s still leaking & thick with mould ) they were supposed to put new LEVEL Flores in ( marbles placed on them go in multiple directions ) They were supposed to hang radiators & piping properly, they were supposed to seal all the holes that they made in the masonry, They weren’t supposed to take electrics OUT, they weren’t supposed to damage any of the downstairs doors or upstairs doors, they weren’t supposed to damage carpets or pull a floating shelf off our little boys wall, they weren’t supposed to destroy the garden & they certainly were supposed to be smoking in our house. Who on earth gave this company a contract, I would not recommend this company to anyone for anything & if someone wants to give me a call from the company, I will gladly point out the multiple mistakes & even show you video/photographic evidence. They also have fantastic flexi time.

Jon and Ross fitted a new boiler yesterday. There was a slight issue and it failed after they left, through no fault of theirs but they came back the next morning and fixed it. Excellent service and professional, polite, friendly guys. Thank you so much.

Had a new bathroom earlier in the year, the work was to a good standard but the staff weren't the best, however I have just had a new kitchen done and the new staff were wonderful, they did the work to a high standard, the liaison officer was fantastic and any questions I had he found a solution. I cannot find one fault with them this time round

They've just put gas in my council property and I'm constantly cold which is not any good when I'm disabled

Absolutely gutted at the work carried out , who ever came to measure up and decide on the external boiler location and fitting clearly didn’t care at all! I wish I could post photos ! The workmen got on with Their job and followed orders ! A whole new boiler system and pipes done In 6 hrs ! Couldn’t be bothered to donimternal piping as like the previous ones but 4 copper pipes outside encased I huge white plastic ! External boiler not even against the wall with a huge plastic flume for fumes which nowninget the lovely smell of oil into my bathroom ! I now have the worse embarrassing eye sore in my back garden which every visitor says ‘WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ! Lazy easy as possible workmanship!

Driver of van (No. Plate HJ13 YZL) came racing up behind traffic and almost hit car behind us and then went past the side of us on the opposite side of the road. Then drove erratically round the trafict island just to cut in front of 5 cars. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

writing this review on behalf of my83-year-old uncle who lives in a council bungalow, he's had nothing but problems with this company after putting in new central heating, because he complained several times to this company and council he was accused of being aggressive and a trouble causer he complained numerous times because the radiators kept going cold so as last resort he phoned me so went to his home and bled the radiators, all are keeping hot now, so next day the guy from the company and the lady from council knocked on his door and asked if all was okay and my uncle said yes now my nephew has been and bled the radiators and guy from company said there was no air in radiators, well there was in 3 of them so my uncle asked him if he would speak to me on phone and when I asked him not to call my uncle a liar he put phone down on me to top it all off my uncle then developed 2 leaks one in bedroom and one in bathroom so he complained yet again they sent a man round he went in loft and repaired the leaks so it seems they have one good guy working for them so all is ok-so if you have elderly relatives in council property then make sure you can be there if this company does any work for them this experience has really upset him he says he his frightened to complain again if anything goes wrong 83 YEAR OLD ELDERLY people should not be treated like this DISGUSTING THE WAY HE WAS TREATED- AVOID THIS COMPANY IF POSSIBLE.

Took 8 weeks to fit a bathroom that was supposed to take 8 days , appalling workmanship , turned up when ever they liked , the work was never completely finished and still isn't , workers told to rush the job and get to the next .

Matthews and Tannert fitted me a new bathroom. While i have no complaints at all about the majority of the work (that guy was great) the plastering is a mess. They were also asked to fit me lever taps in 3 places. Did 1, was called away ( genuinely understandable) meant to come back next day, waited all day, didn't arrive. Called office, no call back. Next working day didn't arrive so called office again. AVOID like the plague if you can. We can not be expected to wait in every day in the event they MIGHT turn up. Obviously not enough staff but too much work.

Dire not acceptable standard lies after lies

Shoddy workmanship. Wrong materials being used. Cheap plywood used in the bathroom where they will come into contact moisture and rot. Corners being cut to save their to save time and a below stand bath insulted. Arrogant and aggressive site manager that doesn't respect my home or my home. They have damaged our property and the property below and won't fix it. Don't let these cowboys near your home as you will regret it.

I had a new wet room and Kitchen replaced. I cannot fault the standard of work that they provided. The whole team were professional, efficient & were punctual. I cannot recommend this company enough. Thankyou to the team.

Day 3 of total bathroom replacement through Futures Housing Group... what an absolute gem of a team.. friendly, fast and efficient! Very understanding of the four furry residents, and very professional. I was dreading the usual 'housing association' contractors but these guys have been wonderful!

Got new kitchen and bathroom fitted cant fault bathroom.. And cant fault the how quickly the kitchen units was finished but they never finished the kitchen the seal around the windows was not done the floor was badly done and never put radiator in and took the other one away so had to finished it myself

Did a great job inside my Bungalow replacing the fire and surround, the rubish they left behind which they assured me would be removed on the same day was still there 8 days later. I rang the office to complain no apology about it but from a Director no less the attitude was Ugh we'll get it moved sometime today.Not good customer relations and not a pleasant experiance at all.
