Robert came to correct an installation from another supplier. He kept me informed on time of arrival and throughout the correction explained what he was doing and why. It turned out to be quite a bit of re-wiring. He demonstrated the system working as it should. Would recommend as an installer who knows what he is doing.

After experiencing difficulties in getting my Myenergi Zappi charger to connect with wifi, I contacted Qwinteq, being local. I was also unable to set a timed schedule on the unit ( a bit of a technophobe!). In spite of not installing the unit, Robert came round. He was on the phone to the Zappi helpline for some time and eventually everything was sorted. Robert was friendly and efficient and I thoroughly recommend his services.

What great experience from start to finish. Robert and Livia were fantastic, right from the start, providing quotes for different configurations. Once I had decided which one to go for Livia went out of her way to make sure all the paperwork was in order before the Easter break. Straight after the break Robert was there on time and straight into the installation. The installation took just two days for ten solar panels and battery, and the whole process took four weeks from initial inquiry to completion. I cannot recommend Qwinteq enough. I dont normally write reviews, but I do feel the excellent service provided by Robert and his team deserves recognition. After various negative experiences with some online one size fits all renewable providers I decided to reach out to a local company. Robert insisted on visiting and properly surveying our house and prepared a few quotes, we discussed and and adjusted, tailoring the solution to our needs. In less than a month from visiting, the whole system was in and working, with paperwork and mandatory certification provided. It really was a breath of fresh air and it is apparent throughout that Robert wants you to be happy with the solution, does not oversell or overprice and follows through with a quality installation. I would recommend anyone considering solar/battery to reach out to Robert for a quote. UPDATE as of 28/3/26 - I had occasion to call upon Robert for support on my battery following an issue with the grid and Robert provided excellent support once again, fixing the issue in 24 hours. Qwinteq installed my solar panel system last summer they were extremely efficient the whole installation took less than a week the system was fully explained. Robert installed a Fox Emergency Power System (EPS) gateway for us last week. He did a great job and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was working and configured correctly, and that I was happy with the installation before he finished up. Lovely chap, organised, treated our house with respect and left the site tidy… and happy to deal with my (many) questions as the installation proceeded! Livia was also very responsive on the admin side, handling all the paperwork very promptly and juggling dates. Great family business 🙂

Excellent service, would recommend, no problem is too small. Fitted my givenergy EV charger. A few months later givenergy did a update and my EVC stopped working, Qwinteq went out of their way to get it sorted and working correctly again.

I can't recommend Qwinteq highly enough. We had solar panels and battery fitted by Robert, ably assisted by James, following a positive referral from family. The whole process was successfully completed in 4 days. Robert visited initially to go through the process, answering all of our (sometimes very basic) questions patiently and in detail. He advised us on the range of options and gave good advice for our particular needs. He went through the contract in detail and assured us of all the legal and financial protections enclosed. Installation was done by Robert and James, both worked to a high standard and with attention to detail throughout. It was a slightly complicated job due to the meter being situated in the middle of the bungalow and with no roof space. However, a route was found with little upset to either inside or outdoors thanks to their experience. After the work was finished, Robert walked us through the system, pointing out things we need to know/be aware of. He talked us through uploading and using the app and what we have to do to re energy suppliers and exporting to the grid. 100% recommend.

I contacted Qwinteq after a disaster with another Solar company and cannot fault Robert and James from start to finnish. Their expertise and professionalism is top draw. We contacted Qwinteq Solutions in December 2024 with a view of obtaining a ballpark quote for a solar system. Very promptly, Robert made contact with us and spent a great deal of time talking through the positives and negatives for each manufacturer of solar equipment, alongside what was the maximum amount of panels that were achievable on our roof space, but also the minimum amount we’d need to off set our current energy usage. During this time, Robert also analysed our roof space and factored in partial shading and how this could effect our solar production, along with how this could be mitigated with optimisers or micro inverters. After giving us six different quotes, so we could compare prices between each of the systems. We settled on 18 panels and a 10kw battery system from SolarEdge. I was pleased that Robert was more than happy to handle the G99 paperwork for the export agreement and was able to deal with National Grid on our behalf. At the time of accepting the quote, it was very refreshing to be given a detailed contract, laying out the structure of payments from deposit to completion, along with proof of insurance and professional accreditations held. While the contract in my view was largely redundant as the working relationship between ourselves and Robert was very collaborative, it was nice to know where we both stood should any problems arise. It’s something I wish more tradesman did when agreeing to undertake work. Leading up to installation, Robert liaised with the scaffolding contractors and arranged all of the delivery of the equipment. On delivery day, Robert made sure he was available to inspect the equipment to ensure it was correct ahead of installation. The installation took around five days which was largely due to the complex cable run between our electrical meter and the location of the equipment in our garage. Both Robert and James were very polite and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and they always took the time to clear up and let us know what they’d achieved that day, but also their plans for the following day. As we both work from home, naturally we were concerned about the power being turned off while they completed the work. Robert was happy to work around this and first got all of the cabling in place and agreed a suitable day and time for the power to be turned off for the final connections. The power was off for less than an hour as Robert had prepared everything before hand. The pride Robert and James have in their workmanship is something of a rarity these days. Following installation, Robert took the time to talk us through the system, explaining how to use the app and manage the battery etc. Two days post installation, Robert came back to check we were happy and check if we needed any further help with using the system/app. Within two weeks we were in receipt of all paperwork, certificates and commissioning documents. All of which were meticulously labelled up and packaged into a neat folder. We have also had an EV charger fitted by Robert, with the expirence being equally as positive as our solar journey. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better installer who took the time to achieve the best set up and installation for us. Roberts price was very competitive and actually cheaper than some of the large national firms who I strongly doubt would have achieved such a tidy installation. If you’re looking to start your solar journey, I would highly recommend Qwinteq Solutions. You’re in safe hands.

We have just had 10 solar panels And two batteries fitted to our outbuilding by Qwinteq limited. Robert went above and beyond all our expectations he not only fitted the panels and batteries but he resolved an issue with our previous solar panel inverter, And also ensured that we got Wi-Fi into our outbuilding From the hardwired installation. Robert and his team arrived on time and started work on my roof. The job was a little unusual as I had a squirrel's drey under my existing panels and the possibility of damage. The drey was removed, the circuits tested ( squirrels can do a lot of costly damage) the panels cleaned and the whole system tested. A protective screen was added around the base of the two solar arrays. Robert explained very clearly what work had been carried out and reported roof tile damage even though not in the scope of works. I liked the very positive attitude to his work and his enthusiasm. It was a pleasure having the team working at my home. I do recommend Robert (Qwinteq) for all solar works.

What an excellent company. I had started by calling the big national solar installers, but they only wanted to fit a standard 4kWp system and were not interested in changing anything. I believe that is due to the huge amount of pre-installation paperwork and approvals required for an installation larger than 4kWp. By the time I called Qwinteq I had a very long list of requirements. Robert was able to satisfy all of them, and answered all of my queries. I now have 11.3kWp solar and 20kWh batteries fitted. Good price too. Happy customer - and I'm rather difficult to please as I'm an Electrical Engineer. If you have the Qwinteq team around, I can tell you that they LOVE chocolate HobNobs with a cuppa !

Robert and his team (Adrian, Michael & Richard) have just completed a major upgrade to our solar pv system adding more panels, an ev charger, batteries and backup interface for if the grid goes down. Friendly and considerate, they are very approachable and really know their stuff. The install is incredibly neat and they clearly take pride in their work. Robert & Co fitted a battery system in my garage a few months ago made a really good job, had them to upgrade my solar panel system on my garden shed roof, which he calls (mancave) also expanded system to ground mounted, you couldn't get any company better than they are ,knowledgeable & good humoured.

Helped to diagnose an issue with an older Solaredge system having repeated optimiser failures. Found original installer had mixed MC4 connector types, leading to the optimisers failing. Price to replace failed optimisers fairly decent.

Robert recently installed a battery for my solar panels in the garage and also in the freezing cold weather. It must have been awful out there for him but he "stuck at it" . Rober installed me a 3.5 kW battery in 2022, I decided that I would like a second one to make it 7 kw. At the same time, Robert also installed a new fuse box as it was 22 years old. His attention to detail is second to none. He moved everything together to make it much neater and left no mess. My original inverter was 10 years old, and I couldn't see what it was generating, but as it was still under warranty, Robert replaced it totally free of charge. He took care of my dog and property when I needed to go out. I can't thank Robert enough for everything excellent service. I would definitely use him again.

Great customer experience, Rob contacted me the day before to ask if I wanted a run through of the work before it went ahead. Polite, helpful and cleaned up as he went along including taking all COVID precautions to look after us. After the work was completed Rob checked in on me twice to ensure no issues and that everything was going well. Advised on the correct ap for my EV charger and followed up on certificates to make sure that I had everything I needed. Definitely recommended! Edit.... I had a separate electrical issue that I contacted Qwinteq on, they came around to see me that same evening and checked everything for me to ensure no danger/issues in the home. We had power spikes due to the voltage supply being too high, Rob contacted Western Power on my behalf to explain the situation and had the team carrying out repairs to our supply (again same day) now all fixed and thanks to Qwinteq despite it being an external issue. That is amazing customer service....beyond anything I have ever experienced. Gold standard is not close to the care and effort that Rob offers.
