J.A.L Roofing Limited is described by several customers as doing high-quality work: one reviewer was very pleased with a re-roof, and another said the roof looked good with decent materials. The team is often called friendly and helpful, and customers report being kept updated during the job. The solar side is also praised, with one reviewer saying they felt no pressure and had the options explained fully. Not everyone had a smooth experience, though: one reviewer says a quote appointment was missed with no communication, one says their Christmas lights were damaged and promised replacement or refund had not come, and another says their garden was left in a mess and their cameras were broken with no follow-up.
Called for a quote and was given an appointment time just over a week later. Zero communication and no show. When I called the office they gave an exscuse about someone having a leak. Who cares about that? It you can't be trusted to do a quote you can't be trusted to do a roof. No doubt you're attending one of your own leaking roofs. Avoid!
This company is outstanding. Adam and Shane have given me a stunning roof. Their skills are second to none. Communication with management was excellent. I thought it was going to be stressful, but how wrong I was as throughout I was treated with kindness and respect, so here's a massive thankyou to you all.
We had been looking for solar panels for a while and decided to get a quote from Octopus but also asked a neighbour about their installation from JAL. We were very impressed by the level of service and the quality of the whole experience from JAL. We had several quotes from Sam Tebbs (Head of Solar) and we were not rushed to make a decision. Sam came to the house to answer our questions and complete a more accurate survey. Very impressed with what we finally decided on and I would highly recommend JAL if you are looking at solar and battery installation.
Great company, really happy with my solar panels I have recently had installed. Very clean, efficient & helpful workers. Everything was completed in a timely manner. A special thanks to Sam for being super helpful & guiding me through the SEG application with my energy provider after the installation. Highly recommend this company!
Brilliant professional service can’t recommend them enough!!
Just moved into my lovely new home, In Branston Leas, built by St Modwen, Already B rated for economy, but to go higher, Needed to install solar PV, a battery and diverter, In came JAL Roofing, as recommended by Marley, NFRC accredited and fully certified, A local company fitting superior products integrally, These panels replace the tiles and have a sleeker effect, No need to clean them each year to remove the pigeon nests, All installed in less than a week, Most of it while I was away on a break, All plugged in now, and generating power, Forgot to mention the battery on special offer, So I can charge my battery, car, or run the immersion on solar, That last thing means in the summer, free hot water, So, top marks to Sam and the gang for their outstanding work, If you’re looking for solar, no need to look further!
From start to finish of a full re-roof and solar installation, JAL roofing and JAL solar have been perfect. Their head of solar explained all the benefits, giving us a full walk through of all the options and giving great advice and was really professional laying out all the facts with no pushy salesman techniques like a lot of solar companies out there! The team JAL sent were a great bunch of guys and really friendly and were more than happy to have me up on the roof showing me what they were doing and how it all works! Honestly can’t fault the whole team and can recommend them for all your roofing / solar projects! I now I will be in touch for all my future projects! Thank you!
Apart from destroying my Christmas lights when replacing the roof and promising to replace/ refund the money, which I am still waiting on, the actual roof has been completed to a high standard. Labourers had the usual trade banter, and swearing on site which was sometimes in front of minors other than this they have completed the task to a good quality standard and we're generally friendly if supplied with copious amounts of tea and coffee!
Very good team working 💪 👷♀️ 👏 👍 👌
The roof looks good. Decent quality materials used and the job was all done properly as far as I can see.
