⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would just like to thank Stephen for his amazing work ethic, attention to detail, and very affordable prices. He fitted spotlights throughout our decking and installed an outdoor socket, and the quality of his work is excellent. Stephen was professional, reliable, and took great pride in making sure everything was completed to a high standard. My partner and I are absolutely delighted with the finished result. We would highly recommend Stephen to anyone looking for a trustworthy local electrician in the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire or Staffordshire area. Excellent service from start to finish!

I would highly recommend Steve to anyone. He has completed several jobs at my property, and every one has been carried out to an exceptionally high standard. He's reliable, efficient, and takes real pride in his work. I wouldn't use anyone else, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. 10/10 service!

Can highly recommend. Has recently done some work for me & nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be using again.

Steve has done several jobs for me now and has become my go-to electrician! Always completely reliable, full of advice and work finished to a very high standard.

Superb service from Steve. We asked for installation of an EV Charger, front & rear flood lights on the house, new sockets & lights to the garage & house and a 'complex' aeroplane light fitting! Unlike some of the 'competition' Steve came to undertake quotes exactly when he said he would and even worked in the foulest of weather - nothing holds him back! All work was completed to a high standard and on schedule. He always offers up his expert opinion & advice from his wealth of experience to guide purchases & installation. He won't install any cr*p(!) that puts you or your families safety at risk, which was VERY reassuring. Also, he future proofs work he undertakes to allow for ideas you may have in mind for a later date. Since the first 'works' we've asked him to return to undertake a hardwire on a dodgy socket cooker connection. And we'll ask him back again without hesitation for anything & everything else within his remit. Huge thanks, Steve!

Friendly and approachable electrician. The work carried out was finished to an excellent standard and left clean and tidy. Everything was explained fully and Steve is very informative and knowledgeable about his work. Couldn’t recommend enough! Will definitely be contacting Steve for more work in the future.

Excellent work carried out and a fantastic outcome, as our electrical problem was resolved very quickly. Neat and tidy and very efficient. I have no problem recommending SMG Electrical Services.

Steve has completed several jobs for me I must say he is excellent, communicates well, is on time, competent and tidy.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Professional, reliable, and genuinely friendly throughout every job Stephen has done for us. He installed our EV charger, fitted new sockets, and completed several light fittings to a really high standard. Everything was done neatly, safely, and with great attention to detail. He always turned up when promised, even cleaned up after himself, explained everything clearly, and made sure we were happy with the work before leaving. It’s hard to find tradespeople who are not only highly skilled but also polite, approachable, and trustworthy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a quality electrician and will definitely be using him again in the future.

Have had a couple of jobs done by Steve and can't thanks and rate him highly enough. Always clean and tidy and very informative about the job. Open and honest too.

Steve is the best tradesperson I've ever dealt with - prompt and clear communication, very quick to send quotes/invoice/certificate. He recently completed some work at a commercial property we own and he did everything at weekends when we are closed to avoid any disruption to the business - this is something we really appreciated and a lot of tradespeople just can't accommodate. Great job at a reasonable price, we can't recommend him highly enough!

Excellent workmanship at an affordable price. Would highly recommend.
