Havebury organised Cahill Renewables to supply and fit solar panels to our property. The whole process has gone extremely smoothly. From the original survey team, the appointment booking staff and the installation guys and electricians have all fulfilled there roles, no broken appointments or promises. Complete breath of fresh air to have a team of people all working together and for the customer. Jude the electrician is especially good and a total asset to the company! Thankyou for a easy, professional and on time job.
Jude who installed the panels was 1st class, friendly, prompt & full of knowledge, nothing was too much for the amount of work he had to do, everything was installed neatly & after he left you wouldn't have known he been here, took all the boxes away & any other bits & peices that weren't used. Was anxious about having a heat pump installed because of all the changes needed in our house but they made it so easy and I barely noticed the work being done. Cyn did an incredible job! Really pleased with how everything went.

Excellent from start to finish. 11 panels, battery and inverter + electrics for a car charger on drive, all in place in a day after site survey and scaffolding put in place. Not a straightforward job but the team worked brilliantly were polite organised and very professional. Top marks and a good price. Highly recommended.
Cahill Renewables have been great to work with. Their sales team was fast & honest, also about the lead time. The installation of the panels is done by roofers so they make sure the panels don't mess up your roof, and once everything was installed I got a clear explanation of how to make the best use of the panels and the battery. I got 16 panels and a battery installed, in a little more than half a day. As the scaffolding had to be placed on top of our extension to be able to get to the roof of the house itself, a few tiles on our extension were damages, but Cahill were quick to replace them in coordination with the scaffolders, so it was quickly resolved. Would definitely recommend.

I highly recommend this company. Today, I had 6 solar panels fitted. From start to finish the customer service from the guys doing the work was excellent, they worked with great skill, were polite and respectful of my home. The quality of the product and the ease of use has exceeded my expectations. I'm really happy with how the panels look on the roof and the placement of the converter and battery was discussed with me before installation. Apart from helping to save the planet im also going to save on my electric bill too !

We recently used Cahill Renewables in Colchester for the supply and installation of solar panels, inverters, battery storage, and an air source heat pump, and we were pleased with the service we received. From the initial consultation through to completion, the team demonstrated excellent knowledge and professionalism. Every member of staff, from the office team to the engineers on site, was polite, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. The installation team worked efficiently and kept everything tidy throughout the project, taking great care of our property and always cleaning up after themselves. Any questions we had were answered clearly and confidently, giving us complete confidence in the system and the work being carried out. This has been a hugely positive experience for us right from the first time we reached out. The remote design engaged with what we wanted, answered our questions and produced a solid quote. Surveyor arrived on time and was helpful with advice. The scaffolders arrived two days before installation and did their job without any fuss, were very polite and left the site neat and tidy. Installation day went like clockwork. Team arrived on time and set about their different tasks; panel team and electical team. Again, polite, careful and tidy workmanship. 16 panels and all the kit fully fully installed and fully working in 6 hours. Magic.

As a family we wanted to check if the equipment was needed and the costs quoted. Cahill Renewables was really helpful and supportive in answering our questions and assuring us that the other company was potentially scamming my mum. Josh and his colleagues were very open and honest in their opinions, we are very grateful. We will certainly go back to Cahil Renewables in the future.
Have been extremely pleased with the service provided by Cahill Renewables from start to finish. Pre-Sales advice and response times were fantastic, I had lots of questions and looked at many different variations of system and their team was able to support me in making the final decision. The installation itself was extremely smooth, I honestly couldn't quite believe it could be achieved within a day but the team got everything done with minimal disruption, power off for no more than 5 minutes and I'm extremely happy with the quality of workmanship. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cahill Renewables to others.
Untrustworthy and unreliable. The sales department keep giving empty promise. They verbally said one thing and made you feel you can trust them and move forward. When you go to the next step, they changed what they agreed to provide last minute. This has happened 2 - 3 times. When I challenged them why they keep changing their terms, they just brushed it off and just said there has been miscommunication. I can accept it once, but not 2- 3 times.
Cahill installed our solar system in November 2024. I contacted them yesterday with a oroblem with the Fox app and Morgan took on the job of sorting it out. After 24 hours he had sorted out everything and the system is now working perfectly. Highly recommended, very professional.
It’s been five months since my solar and battery installation, and everything has been working exactly as expected. From the initial call with Josh to the office team, the surveyor, the scaffolders, roofers and electricians, every single person I dealt with was professional and accommodating. Minor hiccups were addressed effectively. The quote was well presented and looked professional. Cahill offered me the best hardware for my needs (high-efficiency AIKO panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3) at a reasonable price. The sales team were responsive throughout the process, answering my technical questions promptly. Antony, the surveyor, took the time to understand my requirements and reassured me about the installation, confirming the optimal number of solar panels to maximise my roof space. At that point, I knew I could trust Cahill to deliver, and I was happy to proceed. Scaffolding was up within two hours and held firm during several days of strong winds. On installation day, the team arrived on time, which was excellent. The lead electrician deserves special thanks for coordinating the team and completing the underground ducting neatly despite the challenges. The roofers installed the solar panels efficiently and were happy to answer my questions. Before leaving, the team walked me through the Tesla app, and the system was fully operational. I was able to start saving immediately by reducing my reliance on the grid. Exporting excess solar and battery energy required permission from the DNO and my energy supplier, along with some help from Tesla support, and Cahill assisted with all of this post‑installation. What set Cahill apart was their willingness to go the extra mile — nothing was too much trouble. Choosing a reputable installer isn’t easy, but Cahill delivered a compliant, high‑quality installation without cutting corners. I’m very happy with the system and would confidently recommend Cahill Renewables to friends and family.
I must say what a pleasure it has been to do business with such a friendly and helpful company. Josh, you have been brilliant and very helpful explaining the ins and outs of how the system works and making sure that we have the best system that meets our needs. Ross our surveyor was also helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. The ladies in the office were friendly and extremely efficient. Even James your delivery guy was friendly. And finally Jim our engineer. What an: Amazing, conscientious, happy, helpful and knowledgeable young man he is. Nothing was too much trouble and his work was exemplary. I am leaving this review on be half of my Mum, from our experience with a Employee of Cahill Renewables. Sadly, my Dad and Sister died within 11 weeks of each other, which left a huge problem with getting everything over to my 87 year old Mum's name, as the whole solar panel system was in my Dad and Sisters name. So my Mum could inherit the system, the Fit company wanted certain information that sadly, as my Sister was not the best paperwork keeper. OVO suggested that we contacted Cahill to see if they could help with gaining the info OVO required. I spoke to and absolutely wonderful young man called Joshua Ells. Even though we are not Cahill customers, Josh was so helpful, giving me some amazing advice regarding the solar panel system my Mum has, was so patient with me as I don't know much about solar panels. Josh's advice was so valuable, that within a couple of days we had sorted everything out that has been going on for over 6 months. Josh, thank you so much for your time and patients, you are an absolute credit to Cahill Renewables. If this is the way Cahill employees treat someone who is not a Cahill customer, I can only begin to imagine the amazing service Cahill provide for their existing customers. Thanks again Josh, Paul

I chose Cahill Renewables to install my solar panels and battery. All of their team were friendly and helpful without being pushy. Their price was competitive against other quotes and had no unnecessary extras. They kept me informed throughout the installation, which was completed on time with the minimum of fuss. Documentation was provided quickly. Post installation issues were resolved quickly and the panels are working well. I am very happy with what they have done and would chose them again.
From my initial contact with the Owner of Cahill, Keiren, to the finish job this team have been faultless. The Estimator popped over the day after my enquiry and a comprehensive quote was winging its way to me the next day.. After a phone discussion with Keiren and after considering several other quotes I felt good about Cahill & contracted them to carry out the work, even after some additional question & subsequent changes to the quote nothing was too much effort. I was regularly updated on the progress via Email pre instal. The Day of the install all the guys arrived early doors & carried out the install in a very professional manner, they left tiding up any mess & gave me a full run down of the system they had installed [Thanks Brandon] I cannot recommend this firm more for there approch to the project, running on to the finished Job .. Well done Cahill.. 5STARS+ The scaffolders were just as good, working on a Sunday, in the rain to keep the job on time ..
Cahill Renewables installed the solar battery for my parents. Following a bereavement we had missing paperwork that the energy company needed. Josh at Cahill went out of his way to sort the problem out. He contacted me almost instantly and frequently, until the problem was sorted out. I was very grateful for the fantastic customer service at a stressful time.

Highly recommend Cahill Renewables if you're looking for a knowledgeable, efficient and professional installer of solar panels. The whole team were courteous, well-organised and quick to respond throughout the process. They demonstrated extensive expertise, answering our questions clearly and patiently. The workmen were efficient, and the installation was extremely tidy, with attention paid to the smallest details. We had questions after the installation and they were just as responsive and helpful after the work was completed as they had been before. All in all, we were hugely impressed. We wish every company could work to the same high standard!
It is over nine months since our solar panels etc were installed by Cahill and we are delighted with the system. It took a while to get the Eddi working properly but myenergi customer support was brilliant and did a firmware update which did the trick. The Eddi diverts excess solar to heat the water in our hot water tank before sending any further excess to the grid - for which we get £ from our supplier (Octopus). So now we are saving on gas as well as electricity on sunny days! With the sun shining so much recently we are exporting to the grid on a daily basis, topping up our hot water and getting the washing done for 'free'. We would not have had the confidence to go ahead without the consistent, patient and knowledgeable guidance provided by Joe Todd in the sales department. At no point was he pushy and he was true to his word at every step. We did have a few twists and turns with the installation and we did become a bit frustrated at times. However, we can understand why that was the case as there were a few issues with our roof which Cahill, helpfully, arranged for their roofing team to sort out at a very reasonable cost. We are very pleased that we chose to go with Cahill and highly recommend them to others.
Cahill installed our solar panels a few weeks ago. They were not the cheapest quote that we received, but it was certainly competitive, and we wanted to go with a local company with a good reputation. I was impressed that at no time during my initial discussions and Q&A with them did I feel under pressure to place an order. The scaffolders worked on a Bank Holiday to have the scaffolding in place for the installers, and the total installation was completed in a morning by a very polite and efficient team who planned the wiring with me to be as inconspicuous as possible. All in all, a very positive experience, with good follow-up support to deliver all the documentation required to set up the export scheme with my power supply company.
I had batteries and a converter installed by Cahill in May. The appointment was timed for between 08:00 and 09:00, they arrived at 08:30, the job was completed by 12:30. The installers were pleasant and polite and the installation was quick and efficient producing the minimum of disruption. I can highly recommend Cahill to others who may be interested in having batteries installed. The cost per kW capacity was the cheapest of the offers I received and in fact one installer offered me a discount of £500 on their estimate when I informed them that I had agreed to the Cahill offer, to match it. Excellent service throughout. From first contact 07/04/25 to installation 13/05/25 everything was seamless and professional. The initial inspection brought forth a very competitive quote and from then on contact was swift, informative, and understandable. the installation was completed in a day, very tidily and cleaned up after. I would recommend this company above others, especially those that do not inspect the property before quoting.
We've just had a Tesla Powerwall 3 and 20 Aiko panels fitted by Cahill and from beginning to end they were brilliant. The quote they gave was the best we had and the teams of electricians and panel fitters were on time, very tidy and did a really good job. I would recommend Cahill to anyone

We have just had our solar system installed by Cahill Renewables and couldn't be more happier with the outcome! The scaffolder's arrived exactly when they said they would, the two guys who fitted the panels even worked on a bank holiday to get the panels installed ready for the electrical work to commence the following day. The electrics have been installed incredibly neatly and very discreet considering the equipment that was installed. The electricians worked tirelessly and system works faultlessly! I am very pleased we choose Cahill. The price was extremely competitive, and love that it was a local company that installed the system.

Cahill Renewables recently installed a solar panel and battery system at my house. All of the team at Cahill provided us with a superb service (sales, electrician, panel installation, scaffolding, technical and general advice) from start to finish. Everyone was very pleased and prepared to answer any queries and we now have what looks like a great solar set up for the coming years.
First Class battery and solar panel company Customer Service Quality Value I have just had my solar system installed 20/01/2025. Right from the beginning the sales team gave expert advice on what I needed and how it all worked. The price was very compatible as some companies had the same equipment for a lot more money. The equipment arrived on the pre-booked date and was installed by a good qualified engineering team. Once fitted the electrician explained how all the equipment worked and then helped me put the monitoring App on my phone. The team cleared up after they had finished and left my house as good as it was when they arrived. I would recommend this first class company not only for the professional way they do business but also for the after sales, as they are their to help if you need anything or need anything explained.
After looking at several panel providers, Cahilll, proved to be the best , not just on price, but when looking at their history of customer care and the equipt that they install. The Electricians turned up first Mike and Brandon. They explained what would happen, recced the best routes and installed the equipt, with no fuss, dramas, and with complete professionalism, whilst still being approachable and empathetic. The panel installers turned up an hour or two later, during a storm, but completed their task so quickly we did not get to know their names. Project was completed in 1 day, with no project disasters or set backs which was great. So a big thanks to Mike and Brandon who made the install painless and mess free. As well as the nameless panel guys and the Cahill team generally. Still early days as the install was only Monday 28th Jan 2025, but a great start.
Cahil installed my Solar, Givenergy Battery & Gateway system in May-24. I cannot fault the lads on location, although some planning issues did materialise with late arrival of hardware & scaffolding. The company were efficient and proactive leading up to the install apart from the above. The real issue comes, with regard to after installation support which is not at all forthcoming unless you're prepared to pay £250 + vat for a technician to call. After the installation was completed, I was told, as soon as my smart meter is installed you'll be up and running, and your Octopus smart tariffs will kick in? Hmm, not really the case, and issues materialised during the winter months with the battery and it's interaction with the Gateway. Now, and this is an important point for anyone considering a similar system, if you have any Wi-Fi issues, unstable signal or change providers or therouter, you are then in a world of Solar & Battery pain, because the system will no longer talk to itself and needs someone with knowledge of the set-up, the battery, Givenergy AIO inverter & the Gateway, not forgetting the Fox ESS inverter in my loft, you'll need the Passwords to re-set inverters, to connect them to your wi-fi, to the various Apps to run the system etc. etc. etc. It's absolutely key that customers undertstand, there is no paper handover on how it all works, it's all online and you're expected to go and find the answers yourself :( The support or lack of I've received thus far has been poor from all sides, Cahil, Octopus & Givenergy with all refering me to the other? Buyer beware, the support is poor unless you're prepared to pay Cahil up front to come out and reconnect all the hardware to your wi-fi. It's a hypersensitive system and will not tolerate a unstable wi-fi signal, and especially not customers changing routers, which was forced on me by BT :(
Really , really pleased with our installion of 23 panels and 10khw inverter & battery from Cahills. No hesitation in recommending them. Our installation wasn't quite straight forward but I found everyone I idealt with very knowledgeable and helpful. If I ever needed an installation again I would very happily come to them. Big thank you to Joe, Nicola, Simon, the electrician (sorry i cant remember his name but a really good guy) and especially Josh who negotiated a great deal with me and was very patient with all my technical questions.

We had our solar panels fitted over a year ago. From advising us as to what we needed, the fitting, and advice afterwards Cahill have been amazing. On Friday afternoon we had a problem with the batteries. Was too late for the maintenance teams but first thing Monday morning we had an email from Rachel letting us know what was happening. They have kept in touch all the way through. It’s so rare to find a company that actually talks to you these days. If I could give them 10 stars I would !!
I had several quotes for my heat pump and Carhill was the only affordable option for me. I was delighted with the customer service which I experienced, from Josh and Abby in the office, to Darren, Cinnamon, Bow and his team of engineers. I have an HMO often tenants and contractors are a toxic mix. This was not the case with Cahill, they are first class firm.
Contacted (Joe Todd Sales Manager) of Cahill Renewables regarding Inverter replacement for my system and was given excellent advice for the future, without confusing pressure to make a quick sale. Will certainly deal with this company again.
I had 7 quotes ranging from £8k-£13k and 3 companies inc Cahills came round. From initial phone call until I went with Cahill there were no pressure phone calls from them that there were from the other 6 companies. Any questions I phoned with, they answered the phone within seconds likewise emails returned promptly. Josh, joe & Kieran were very friendly, patient and explained technical stuff in a way I could understand. They made their options & recommendations and explained any pros & cons of my queries. They were the 2nd cheapest price. Apart from the £13k quote they were providing better/newer quality kit. They were also including 5 to 7 more panels than any of the other companies and only costed £9k. Roofers fitted panels and Jermain the electrician was so knowledgeable and efficient starting at 9.30 and leaving at 4.45 after explaining all the kit and the app. After sales has been great with joe & Josh giving all the time needed to help with all my questions. The panels look great, batteries and inverter (and new fuse board that was needed was no extra cost) are all very neat. I can’t recommend Cahill renewables and its staff highly enough. They are a good, honest, reliable company which is rare to find these days. Thank you
Like anyone considering solar its a complex system individually designed for your property. I did the usual thing of getting three quotes ranging from 7k to 13k. One being one of the top two companies being the 13k. Cahill renewables were at the lower end. But the main thing that swung it for me was that there was no pressure or pushy sales from Cahill. I researched them thoroughly, so my decision was made easily. I had spoken to Josh several times over the phone and by email, he went through what would be the best for me. I was aware due to the size of my roof I was limited to the size of the system, so I would not be completely self sufficient. So deposit paid and things were on the move. site survey completed, date sorted Scaffolders arrived when arranged and everything was a GO. I had also asked for a Velux window to be removed which I was quoted for as well. Electricians arrived and were great and all the work carried ,very tidy work completed throughout and left clean. My house is Edwardian and over 100 years old and is like a bomb shelter, however there was an issue with my roof tiles, due to the age of the house they were quite brittle. After a conversation with George this was resolved and dealt with. I had all Fox equipment installed and was registered and set up on the app and could see the generation straight away. To summarise the whole process was easy effective and professional throughout. I would definitely recommend Cahill to anyone considering an installation as they were on the ball throughout, dealt with any issues or questions, and have excellent knowledge around solar. Josh and George are very open and honest and will deal with any issues that may arise during the whole process in a pragmatic way so as to get the job completed. I had always wanted to have Solar Panels fitted but hadn’t planned to settled my mind on how to approach it. But when I decided I wanted to explore it, I contacted lots of suppliers and fitters to understand their offerings, requirements and systems. After sifting through several quotes, Cahill Renewables stood out for me. It wasn’t for their price, rather how they understood the business of Solar, so much, I presented technical adjustments to my final system and they made it happen. They were available when I had questions about the system, prior to my installation date. They also provided good counsel on how to make my system benefit me as well. I was already impressed at this point and decided to have them install and commission my Solar System. This impressed me further. Although on the day of installation, the system needed an update which was completed on the next day and everything was functioning as I expected. The way the Solar Panels were laid out on my roof is so precise, intact and beautiful. It blends with the Beauty of my House and it’s lovely. They also came with Bird guards (which I requested). The bird guard were nicely fitted all around the corners of the full area of the Panel layout. They were available when I had questions about the system, prior to my installation date and after. They also provided good counsel on how to make my system benefit me as well. Cahill renewables installed a heat pump and radiators at my home. They were very professional, courteous and efficient.
I was particularly impressed by Cahill Renewables from the start of my discussions with them. Joe was very supportive and helpful from the beginning of my solar journey by suggesting panel layout and generally explaining how the system might perform which included producing predicted annual data calculations for independence from the grid. Cahill appreciate that for their potential clients this is something of a large leap into the unknown and their approach is not one of pushy salesmen and they take their time to ensure their clients have all of their questions answered before making a decision to proceed. In my case I had a three month delay waiting for Listed Building Consent. Once I had accepted their quotation the process moved on rapidly and I was given notice of when the scaffolding would be erected and the proposed installation date. All of the guys who attended the installation were friendly, knowledgeable and gave advice throughout the day on progress. The system was up and running by 3.30pm on installation day with the scaffolding removed a day or two later. Post installation Jodie in the office quickly processed the paperwork so that I could apply to my energy supplier for exporting any excess power the installation produces. I have also received helpful post installation advice from Simon in the office regarding programming the system to import low cost power overnight when required. I have a 3.5Kw/10 panel system facing west and a total of 7Kw battery storage which can be monitored any time via the App. In the two weeks following installation (April 2024) this has supplied all of the house power consumption and exported 105Kw to the grid. Working with Cahill Renewables has been a collaborative and seamless process and I thoroughly recommend them to anyone considering the installation of renewable technology.

I used Caill Renewables last year when they installed my solar and battery system and had absolutely no hesitation instructing them to install my air sourced heat pump. Heat pumps are a daunting thing to consider after the old trusted gas boiler and making the change is ataking a big step. There are many scare stories in the media that can put people off. But I say please ignore them as its all down to the planning ,the installation and how the heat pump is set up. Once again I had very lengthy phone conversations with Josh from the sales team and he talked me through everything step by step. When I decided to go ahead the heat surveyor Catherine called round to do a very comprehensive heat survey and also proposed sites where the heat pump and water cylinder would go. After the results of the heat survey Josh was able to calculate the final price including some radiator upgrades. The price was very reasonable and I agreed to go ahead. The 2 installers Darren and Bo that came to do the work were so professional and worked so hard. I had many questions during the installation and nothing was too much trouble.. They worked so hard installing the system to the highest level. I was shown in great detail how to operate the system and it has been set up in a very economical way. And the fitters also left their telephone number if I had any further questions and if they could help. Results I am so pleased that I have changed to the air source heat pump and my bungalow has never been warmer. It is also very cheap to run the system and much cheaper than the gas boiler that just seemed to guzzle gas. The new system operates at a lower temperature and is best left on all the time. I have no regrets having this installation and with the government grant it has made this very affordable. Many thanks to everyone st Cahill Renewables it's been a pleasure doing business with them again. I would highly recommend this company for solar and heat pump installation for their friendliness, professionalism, quality of work and a reasonable price. We chose Cahill Renewables to fit our Heat Exchanger as of all the people we talked to, they were by far the most professional in their attitude, explaining exactly what we would need. The team who came to fit it were there on time and got straight to work. They made a very neat job under quite difficult circumstances as we have a small bungalow with not much room to move anything about. Apart from providing coffee and tea we didn’t have to lift a finger, for which, now getting on in years, we were very grateful. They made an extremely neat job running the pipes under the house, so, no ugly fittings running along skirting boards, although of course this made the job harder for them it was their idea and we were extremely grateful. Right from the start we were impressed with their response, their efficiency and willingness to listen to what we wanted and to answer all the questions we had. The quote we received was competitive and having agreed a date and timescale for the work it all went ahead as planned. It's not every day you have a solar PV system put in, so you want it doing right, from the word 'go.' Cahill's did that, and kept on giving outstanding service long after the work was done, the bill was paid, and the kit was powering our whole house. Cahill's went to great lengths to make sure we didn't just get what we wanted but also what we needed, including arranging the DNO authorisations for feed-in. They were open about what the system could and couldn't (and wouldn't) do, and about what it would (and does) provide. Their staff are no-nonsense, human, and straight-talking; technicians courteous and effective; contractors knowledgeable and efficient. Couldn't ask for more.

Very rare to find a company like Cahill that pays so much attention to the customer journey. From determining best panel/ battery/control solution, survey of property, scaffold set up, electrical installation and panel fitting - every step was superbly executed by specialists in their field and coordinated by a professional central team. To say the least, we are delighted , and have been very impressed by the amount of power we are getting too.
Our 6kW solar pv and battery system was installed by Cahill Renewables on 8th June 2023. Before deciding on Cahill, we sought many more than the recommended three quotes and by the time I spoke to Office Manager Joe I was getting thoroughly confused by the variations in proposed designs, components and costs. Joe’s patient explanations gave us confidence to choose theirs over similarly priced quotes, plus we wanted a local company that specialised in all renewables, not just installing solar panels. Once the installation was done, on the promised date, they immediately provided the necessary MCS certificate and DNO approval letter so we could export energy to the grid. In the first four weeks of operation, solar and battery power provided almost all our needs and we exported over 1 megawatt. Such is our confidence in Cahill Renewables that both our immediate neighbours are having their installations this week.
Having spent several weeks looking at several solar panel installers, we finally decided on Cahill as they offered a system (Solax) that has good reviews and their quote, whilst not the cheapest, was still competitive. The sales experience was also very good with no 'hard sell', just good honest clear advice. Compared with other providers, Cahill clearly know the technology and offer very good advice. The installation of our 18 all black panels, 7.5kW inverter and 2x 3kW batteries was a breeze and was completed in 1.5 days. Highly recommended.

Cahill Renewables were able to install the solar panels avoiding the conservatory at the back of my house and without requiring scaffold footing to be installed in neighbouring properties. This saved me from so many potential 3rd party problems of informing neighbours, arranging access into the neighbouring properties, etc. Of the 6 other installers I requested prices from, none were able to do this. The installers, workmanship, customer service and aftercare have all been 5 star and I would have no problem recommending them to my family and friends.

We looked at several companies when considering our Solar installation. We have just finished installation of a Solar system from Cahill Renewables. 21 Panels a 7.5kw Invertor and a couple of batteries later and we are hoping to massively reduce our dependence on the grid and cut our bill! As you will appreciate, we spent a long time trying to find the right company to work with, for us this was a significant expenditure which we don’t want to get wrong! Cahill have been supportive from the start, no Sales patter but just good honest advice and a real ‘partnership feel’ We had a slight hiccup on day of installation but the way in which an organisation deals with issues is what separates those who really care, one week later and panels installed and system set up! Cahill Renewables installed 4.4kW of 'inroof' solar panels, a 5kW inverter and 2x5.8kW batteries at our property in Kent. They were competitively priced, efficient and communication was great. The install team were considerate and friendly and took time to explain what they were doing to achieve the result we wanted. The install was minimally intrusive and completed in two and a half days. Highly recommend.
I would give 10 stars if I could. Absolutely superb experience with Cahill Renewables from the first call to the final handover of eight solar panels and the battery. Very professional, clean and organized work. Very good pre- and post-installation documentation. The Trina Solar Panels perform great, I must say to the watt. The battery helped to keep our bills low. We've been literally paying only for daily charge and during the winter for over-night charging. Otherwise all the expensive kWh came from the panels. I highly recommend Cahill Renewables to anyone interested in solar systems installation.

We were a bit nervous when looking to have solar panels installed. After all, they cost a lot of money, and we wanted to award the job to a reputable company who would not let us down. We found s portal that said three companies would quote us. Of those three, we chose Cahill Renewables, and we are very glad we did. Firstly, the guy (Shane) who visited us to discuss our requirements was experienced, calm, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and in no hurry. Solar is a bit technical, and it is important to discuss what you want to achieve, what kind of system you need, and any extras you may want. Shane went through all this, giving advice as well as information, and he was in no way pushy. Neither did he offer us any 'special price if you sign up today', which was a good thing as far as we were concerned. From then on we had dealings with several people in the company, all of whom were helpful, happy and professional, as well as respectful and customer focused. We chose to buy from Cahill, and our system was installed today. It's early days but we are very happy with everyone at Cahill. This afternoon I had a courtesy call from Tim, the operations manager, asking me if everything went okay and if there were any issues that need sorting. I have no complaints or niggles of any kind, so thank you Shane, Joe, Josh, Tim, George, Terry, Kem, Max, Mark and Germaine. Sorry if I have forgotten anyone. Highly recommended.

Superb in all aspects from office to scaffolders, roofers and electricians. We had 10 Hyundai panels installed on the front and 13 Hyundai panels installed on the back, East and West. SolaX inverter and batteries all working well even on rainy days in January and once the sun appears really working well. Technical advise was excellent along with all the various options available, I obtained five quotes, Cahill werent the cheapest and certainly werent the most expensive. Extremely pleased that I selected them, and would recommend to anyone considering going solar.

We had our solar installed October 2022. Everything was perfect. There seems to have been some confusion about the paperwork we would receive and the format it would be sent. apparently my emails after the work was completed started going into junk folders. This situation has now been resolved. Ultimately I would recommend this company for those thinking of installing solar.
Having had solar panels for almost 10 years we decided to go for battery storage. We spoke to many firms. Although Cahill Renewables are a long way from us (Boston, Lincs) we went with them because George and his team didn’t mind answering our many questions before ordering. Although we’ve had panels for a long time it’s only since having storage as well that I’ve understood what makes up the electric bill! They were installed on the day promised in September 2022 and we love them. As I write this we’re sat in the kitchen being warmed by an electric radiator, which we bought simply to make use of our battery storage. We’ve also bought an electric oven, our gas one is now rarely turned on. It was a big outlay/decision to get battery storage but don’t have any regrets, well done Cahill Renewables.
I chose Cahill after reviewing many review sites and I can honestly say their customer service and their installation teams are excellent. From the initial phone call with Joe in the office discussing the technicalities of the solar panels, the inverter and the battery system they addressed all my technical questions expertly. There was no big sales push, once I received the quote, they let me decide in my own time and I had to approach them to place the order! Coordination and communication from George were excellent from when the scaffold would be erected to when the engineers and roofers would arrive. On-site discussions with their electrical install team (Ken) were clear and they understood my requirements with respect to cables being in trunking and the colour of the external conduit etc. Their installation is exceptional, and their communication exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install solar on their property.

When deciding which of my shortlisted providers to go with for the solar and battery installation, the fact that Josh and colleagues always answered the phone and my questions, convinced me Cahill was the right way to go. Josh handled our business from initial call to payment and certification. He was calm and a good listener during my bombardment of questions about how the solution would work and what would could expect on the installation day. The installers were considerate, they wore masks when in the property (we were shielding due to low immunity) and they were happy to discuss placement of the equipment, to ensure it suited us. On completion, after they had left the premises, it got dark and we found that one of the lighting circuits did not work. On phoning we were told that they had not travelled too far and would return immediately to sort it out. They did. Later the same evening, George called to ask for feedback on the installation. About a week after installation, when there was some data to look at, I was given a run down of the monitoring dashboard by Joe. At this point I asked if the system could be adjusted to give more available battery charge during any power cuts. He went through this customisation with me and a few days later Josh made another edit with me. So, a few weeks into the live system and all my feedback is positive, the only negative was four inches of snow covering the panels for several days this week but Cahill cannot be blamed for that. In summary, they were not the cheapest provider on my shortlist but all discussions I had gave me the confidence to choose them and I am happy I did.

We were looking for solar panels for our home and wanted a firm that was pretty local to us. We did some research and saw the reviews for Cahill Renewables who were only approximately 20 miles from us. The reviews were very good so we decided to give them a ring. I spoke to George who was extremely helpful and talked through what we needed. He then sent us an estimate which was detailed and easy to understand. We were happy with this estimate so called George and arranged a date for the solar panels to be fitted. George explained that the scaffolders would call to advise when the scaffolding would be put up which would be about a week before the solar panels were due to be fitted. They called a week prior as advised and the scaffolding was put up quickly and efficiently. The following week George called to make sure that we were ready and he talked through what would happen and made sure that everything we had discussed would be fitted. The guys turned up in the morning and quickly set the panels up. The electrician, Michael, was the last to leave as he had to make sure everything was set as it should be and he explained how the App for the panels worked and show us how much energy they are producing and how much we have in the battery which we had installed. George called the day after to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy. Josh sent over our paperwork shortly thereafter and we are now just waiting for the paper copies (Subject to Royal Mail strikes of course 🤦♀️). Anyhow we are very pleased with the results. George was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kept us up to date with events. We would highly recommend Cahill Renewables and thank everyone there for their assistance. 😊

Unfortunately there was a glitch with the scaffolding company but again it was sorted straight away and the install was completed on time. So all good and very happy. Cahill Renewables have been excellent at every step of this process. Their quote was competitive and transparent. They have ensured that each step has been communicated well; excellent customer service is clearly important to them. The installation has come in three steps: scaffolding first, then 2 days later the panels installed with the next day down to the electrician and connection. I just had solar panels fitted by Cahill Renewables. I could write a long review here, but I will keep it simple, from first contact (with George) through to scaffolding and fitting of panels, the whole experience has been EXCEPTIONAL. I work in Customer Services for a living and these guys have exceeded my expectations at every point in the process. I highly recommend using Cahill Renewables if you are having Solar (or anything else for that matter) as the knowledge, care and professionalism are simply excellent from every team you work with.

From initial contact, through a period of me asking quite a lot of questions and then subsequent tweaks to the system spec, right through to scaffolding and installation yesterday, the team at K Cahill have been patient, professional, polite and very tidy in their work. Full PV system with hybrid inverter and battery with 19 panels installed yesterday, and now fully operational. I really can’t praise these guys enough. Price of the system was fair, and at no point were any pressure selling tactics used, the sale process was a two way discussion the whole way so ensured I got the right system for our home, not just one they want to sell which is an approach I note some of the other lesser companies use. The scaffolding guys arrived as planned, took great care in what they do, we’re very polite, and weren’t phased even by my three years olds list of ‘why questions’ ! The installers yesterday arrived and just soldiered on for the whole day, they worked well together as a team and were very professional and polite, nothing was a bother all day. Very tidy and swift work both on the roof and inside the house. The neighbours have also commented on this too, and are very pleased to have a tidy install next door! Overall experience has been faultless, 5 stars all the way. Now really looking forward to seeing the system keep those pesky electricity bills down. I have my own business and am keen to work with K Cahill on a Solar PV system for this too, and would totally recommend their services to anyone considering a system themselves.
We decided to install a solar system on our property. Cahill Renewables were superb from start to finish. The sales team answered all our questions. The install team were very professional and the fitment went without any hiccups. We would highly recommend Cahill Renewables.
A great experience from start to finish. There are two very nice guys (Joe and George) who take the "sales" calls - but they are NOT salesmen and will not bother you with follow-up calls like other companies. They really know what they are talking about and handle everything professionally and patiently. They use google maps to find your house and have software that allows them to plan out the panels in your installation. Joe explained how it all worked with the batteries, inverter, etc and knew every aspect of the installation process. We pencilled in an installation date while we finalised the plans and agreed the estimate, then we paid the deposit and it was all set in stone. On the day, the guys were fantastic. They arrived about 7am and left after 6pm having worked solidly in 28C heat. Despite me saying it would be fine to simply drape the cabling over the edge of the roof, the electrician insisted on doing it properly and everything is neatly cable tied and clipped through the tiles and roofing felt, round the loft and down a conduit to the garage. A top job. He gave me a quick tour of the setup and phone app and left us very happy - two genuinely nice, respectful and pleasant guys. George then arranged a chat to walk me through the online aspect and answered any questions I had. We then received a whole pack of info about 2 weeks later - all very thorough. I went with this company because they had good reviews and their companies house entry showed them to be established electricians first, and not just bandwagon jumpers. They really know their stuff and genuinely want to do a good job. I've already recommended them to 3 sets of friends, which speaks for itself. Tips: 1) Do go for the bird netting. We'd never seen a rock dove in 21 years but two started nesting within 2 hours of the scaffolding coming down! :-O I now have a long thin pole to chase them away! 2) The scaffolding will be up for several days so you can make the most of it by cleaning and repairing your gutters, getting rid of moss, painting the eaves, etc ;-) 3) Go for as many panels as you can - they are now a cheap part of the overall cost and more panels = more energy when the days are shorter and darker.

We have looked at getting a solar installation previously from other contractors and have always been put off by their pushy sales pitch, Cahill Renewables was completely different. We spoke to Joe in the office and his responses were polite, quick and always aimed at getting the right solution for us with no pressure at all, and at a competitive price. He shared plenty of technical detail in advance so we knew exactly which panels, battery and inverter we were getting and when they turned up the installation happened very efficiently. The on-site team were very professional and the electrician talked us through the equipment as he was setting everything up. When the team left all that remained was an expertly installed system and no mess, we couldn’t have received a better service.

From the initial exploratory phone conversations through their consultative rather than sales driven advice to installation and commissioning nothing is too much trouble and client satisfaction comes over as their top priority. The installation team were thorough, spotlessly tidy and caring about our property whilst commissioning and post installation follow up was equally impressive. On time, on budget and nice people to do business with - what’s not to like. We investigated several solar panel firms on our route to installing solar panels and battery storage but not one came anywhere close to the advice and help provided by Cahill Renewables. I was told to take my time to decide what I would like, and with all the information sent to me I decided this was the best company for me. I had quotes from lots of company's & decided to go with K Cahill due to the fact no hard sale talk, worked with me until the install day and even had extra's added to the install at short notice & that was no problem to them. I've recently had solar panels,together with batteries and Solar i Boost+ installed by this Company and can HIGHLY recommend them in all aspects. I had looked at many reviews before requesting a quote for the work to be undertaken, and all my expectations were exceeded ! Following my initial telephone enquiry to the office, Joe and George were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Once my objectives and circumstances were discussed, Joe provided a prompt detailed quote which was modified,after discussions, several times over the next few days. The professionalism was exemplary without any "pushy" sales techniques. At this time,I had been exploring the possibility of participating in the Essex County Council Solar Together scheme and had submitted my details. I was so impressed with K.Cahill that I actually decided to use them prior to receiving the quote from Solar Together. In the event, K.Cahill were 10% cheaper for a much better service! Installation was undertaken only 3-4 weeks after contracts were signed and, on the day itself, everything went very smoothly with minimal disruption. Keiran, the electrician and Steve & Lewis the roofing panel installers were, again, extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly as well as being very tidy. Everything was completed on the day,and we were generating our own electricity by 2 pm! A couple of days after installation, (with data to work with) George provided a detailed "beginners guide" to understanding the monitoring of the system using the mobile phone app provided as well as on-line using the computer. Very rarely have we received such excellent service from a company and I can highly recommend K.Cahill to anyone who is looking to install renewable forms of energy.
If you are thinking of having solar panels installed - this company is epic. Pre-sale: I spent considerable time researching different companies and it was a minefield. Eventually, what persuaded me to go with K Cahill was my communication with Joe in the sales office. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful - without being pushy. The system options were explained fully and all my questions answered. There was never a point where I felt pressured into anything. Pre-installation: Once I decided to go ahead with installation, my perception of the company only improved. On two occasions I was given automatic upgrades of equipment (first more efficient, higher capacity panels, and then an upgraded battery) for no other reason than new, improved equipment was now available. Installation: The scaffolding team (I believe sub-contracted) arrived on time, were efficient, polite and had the scaffolding erected within 2 hours. The installers (lead by Kem) were amazing. Again, they arrived perfectly on time. Very tidy, (shoes removed when entering the house, without being asked), incredibly polite and had the installation completed and up and running within 4 hours. Amazing. After sale: The after-sales contact has been brilliant, with a thorough run-through of the monitoring system. Our panels are functioning amazingly well and our electricity usage from the grid has plummeted. Happy days. So completely happy with this installation and cannot recommend K Cahill highly enough. A*
After looking around for a while for the ideal configuration I researched K Cahill and saw the reviews. Although they were based over 50 miles away I thought I'd give it a try. From the first call with Joe the process has been really upbeat and honest. We arranged a date, the contracting process was really organised and dealt with remotely. Joe also called a couple of times to confirm arrangements and configurations. On the day of the Job the team turned up on time, were really courteous and cracked on. Nice tidy job and worked well as a roofing team (outside) and electrical team (inside). There was no chin rubbing "ooh this is going to be really difficult" behaviour - just cracked on Happy with the job quality and the care they took. Good warranty periods and good after sales service. Would heartedly recommend.
Very impressed with K Cahill. They answered what must have seemed like a never-ending list of questions about battery storage before we ordered. Email communication and replying to calls was always prompt. We had a very professional installation followed by a long one-on-one call to explain how the monitoring system worked online and to answer any questions. It was a first-class service from start to finish! We have no hesitation recommending K Cahill and will certainly use them again when needed.

This company was great throughout the whole process from first enquiry to final installation and a warm house and lots of hot water. No heavy sales pitch...lots of explanations for me, checks and balances in place so I didn't make hasty decisions. My career had me involved in hospital refurbishments which I didn't say to George at KK Renewables....I Can't recommend KK Renewables highly enough. Contractors second to none. The job: Solar panels with batteries in the attic and a heat pump with new radiators and water tank. A price was agreed at the start and never changed. The job was started on the day that was originally agreed and finished on time. From my first contact with K Cahill Renewables I was impressed. George kept me informed from start to finish. Any questions I had were answered promptly. He went through everything thoroughly, explaining what was going to be done and in what order it would be done. The contract was also explained in great detail. Whilst the work was being done he kept in contact to make sure I was happy with the progress being made. Darren the plumber was polite, friendly and always happy to talk about what he was doing. Kieran put the panels on the roof and was also polite, friendly and happy to explain what he was doing. The whole process was well planned and executed. I would be happy to use this company in the future and recommend them highly. They are all very pleasant, happy, polite and trustworthy.

I can thoroughly recommend K.Cahill who have just installed our 6.8kw solar system with 6.5kwh battery. We moved in a couple of months ago and got 4 quotes from a couple of local suppliers and a couple of national providers. K.Cahill were not the cheapest but suggested a good system, have a strong background as electricians and George in the office was able to answer all of my many queries. Initially we agreed on 14 panels being installed on the SSE and WSW facing roofs, with additional panels being added at an agreed rate each should more fit. On the first install day Keiren, Kem and Jermaine attended to do the install. They were able to fit 14 panels and install the battery and inverter over the course of the long day. They were able to position them better than I had expected with micro inverters on all of the panels which might be shaded over the course of the average day. Kem followed up for a second visit to fit 5 additional panels in positions agreed on the first install date. Keiren got the system connected to the internet and set up the mobile app for me so that I can see how the panels are performing and showed me how to best control the system with advice on maximum effectiveness. All ran very smoothly and I'm delighted with the performance of the system as well as the placement and look of the panels. From their and my own research, as well as the rapidly increasing energy prices, it should pay for itself within 10 years, after which time it's all profit. I can and will thoroughly recommend K.Cahill and his team for anyone interested in a solar system.
K Cahill did not do any work for me, but what they did is outstanding. Just moved into a place that had solar panels but were not working. Speaking over the phone and email they got me 'on-line'. Big thank you to George who explained everything and more. Any problems, give them a call, outstanding service.
We have just had Solar, batteries and ASHP heating and hot water system fitted by K Cahill Renewables and I highly recommend using these guys. Communication was great start to finish explaining everything about which system would suit best and how everything works. The work was carried out so everything was done in the time they said and left the house nice and tidy after work was completed. The price was also cheaper than other company's that quoted for the work.
