Swift Renewables

Swift are installing heat pump/solar panels and house battery for us. We did get a qoute from another company and Swift did beat it but the main thing for us is the customer service is excellent. Always someone on the end of a phone if you have any queries and all the team are super knowledgeble and approachable.

The team were very efficient and knowledgeable. They made very little mess and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. They also went above and beyond to remedy an issue left by a previous EV installation. We would definitely recommend Swift Renewables to install solar panels.

Very professional from start to finish. Really good advice at the planning stage, really hard working team at installation and brilliant follow up. We’re really happy with our air source installation.

We have just had an air source heat pump and underfloor heating system, radiators on the first floor and a MVHR unit installed in our new build. The whole Swift team including the office staff have been have been excellent and efficient. We are pleased to reccomend them.

Called multiple times and emailed for 4 days, was told I would get an engineer out. After waiting and calling I was Finnaly told they couldn’t help and to look for another company. Very slow to get back to basic enquiries and ultimately a complete waste of time. I wouldn’t bother with them they are obviously busy and not keen on new business. Wish they had just been upfront and advised this 6 days ago. We have had no hot water since then.

Short lead time with installation on the date promised. Neat installation. No impact on the house externals or internal walls, no touch-up work needed. Excellent job.

The Swift crew were methodical, tidy, good problem-solvers and they all made time to explain the system, the process, the implications as the work took place. Well-mannered and easy to work with!

We had a heat pump and seven radiators installed, including pipework, as our house previously only had two ancient storage heaters. So it was a lot of work – but the team at Swift worked tirelessly and got everything completed in the allotted time (just over a week). We were really impressed with the installation, and are so happy with our brand new system.

Excellent company. Installed a new Air Source Heat Pump and Hot water tank system. From start to finish this compay was 5 stars for Efficiancy, Communications, Professional installers and very reliable. I would recommend them should you need this service.

Swift Renewables replaced my old heat pump with a much better system a week ago and I'm very happy with it so far. Everyone I've had contact with has been so friendly and helpful, the guys worked flat out on the install, and their pricing is very competitive. Would definitely recommend!

Swift Renewables did a fantastic job at every stage of the planning, installation, and commissioning of our solar, battery, and heat pump system. They also continue to help keep it running well. They have consistently demonstrated the highest standards of professionalism, competence, and trustworthiness. Swift Renewables were recommended by a heat pump manufacturer that I contacted when doing my own research after being told by Octopus Energy that our home was not suitable for either a heat pump or solar panels. Swift renewables had solutions to the problems that stumped Octopus. They provided invaluable assistance in determining what would work for our property, and guiding us through to finding the best options for us. They were consistently patient and helpful through multiple changes of mind and changes of plans. All appointments for meetings, surveys, and installation work were arranged well in advance and timekeeping was always excellent. They provided very detailed and useful information about the equipment to be installed and how it was expected to perform. There was no hint of "hard sell", and no attempt to persuade us to spend more money than necessary. The engineers did exceptional work (as confirmed by several independent professionals: an electrician, a heat pump engineer, and a roofer) in installing and commissioning the system. All aspects of the installation look neat and professional. All the work was completed in the time promised. All areas of our property where work was done were left clean and tidy at the end of every day. No unnecessary noise was made during the work, which was appreciated by both us and our neighbours. All the engineers were friendly and pleasant to interact with. They continued to monitor the system remotely after installation, and contacted us regarding some minor issues. The system has been running well, and exceeding expectations, for most of a year now. Over the winter the heat pump used a lot less energy than our old gas boiler, despite keeping the house warmer. It was also significantly cheaper to run. The batteries enable us to use grid electricity only when it is cheapest, and to store excess solar energy to use when the sun is not shining. The solar panels and batteries enabled us to stop using grid electricity from the end of March, and it seems likely that we will not need to use grid electricity again until well into September. We have been getting significant amounts of money for exported electricity since the start of May. The office staff were very responsive and helpful at all times. All queries were handled quickly and thoroughly. All paperwork was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Bills were detailed and accurate. They handled applications and certifications etc. wherever possible, so we had very little form filling to do ourselves. A comprehensive handover pack was provided after the work was completed. They have continued to be very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend Swift Renewables to anybody looking to install a renewable energy system.

I had a fantastic experience with Swift Renewables — Stuart came out for my heat pump service and was absolutely brilliant. He was polite, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the visit. He took the time to walk me through everything he was doing, explained things clearly, and gave me some great advice going forward. Stuart was also really proactive, arriving ahead of time and keeping me updated throughout the whole appointment, which was really appreciated. It’s rare to come across such professional and personable service, and I just wanted to give credit where it’s due! Thanks again to the whole team — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Swift Renewables to anyone.

Couldn't be happier with this install from Swift, had solar/battery and a heatpump fitted. Had it about a month now and everything works better than I was expecting. The solar makes more power than I thought it would this time of year. It's just stopped raining in the photo and still making 3.2kw which is more than enough for the house and heatpump which also uses less power than I thought, I just leave it on 22c 24/7 and it heats the whole house better than the boiler did before. Met most of the fitters having both solar/heatpump and they are all very professional, thier work is neat/tidy and they're all friendly and happy to answer any questions. Would highly recommend them to anyone and would be glad to get them back to fit AC in the summer.

We are very pleased with the service provided by Swift renewables. We purchased an air source heat pump for our Victorian terrace home - with very little knowledge about how it all worked. The team at Swift were helpful throughout and engaged with our builder to assist with installation and connecting to the underfloor heating. We are also very impressed with the engineers' efforts in getting the cylinder tightly and neatly fitted into the corner of our kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

Really great experience with Swift for the installation of our heat pump. We had our solar panels and battery fitted by them prior to this and it was an equally good experience this time round. Thanks!

My experience of using Swift Renewables from my first point of contact to the completion of the installation was exemplary. Their office staff were courteous and helpful and the team who carried out the installation were no different. They were thorough, very tidy workers who were a pleasure to have working in my home. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to carry out work if anyone is considering installing or upgrading their system to a heat pump system

A phenomenal service from Swift who replaced my electric system boiler with an air source heat pump. Right from the start it was obvious that Swift are in a league of their own when it comes to such things, extraordinarily knowledgeable, and placed a lot of thought into understanding the unique energy variables of the property. As well as helping with planning permission considerations, Swift performed a 5-star installation over a three day period in a location that was a little tricky to get to. Really happy with the end result and I certainly would recommend Swift to anyone considering installing a heat pump.

Swift Renewables is the most incredible business. They installed my Heat Pump and i could not praise them more for being super efficient, considerate, clean, tidy and very friendly. I recently asked for a call out to change the hot water timings and they came out the same day. This company go above and beyond with their customers. I always feel listened to as a valid customer. I highly recommend Swift because their costs are brilliant, as well as their professionalism! Thank you to all the fantastic staff at Swift, you are the best and you've made me very happy!

Swift installed a Powerwall 3 and 13.35kW of panels for me. They were professional, friendly, the best quote I had by far, and even tolerated my slightly excessive level of interest very well! I got a lot of quotes before deciding on them, and many companies did sales calls with people who were not technical and just wanted to fit the same system to every house. Few companies wanted to fit 30 panels, etc. Swift were very different, they worked with me on a system design that was bespoke to me and suited my property. They were responsive and supportive all the way through the process.

From start to finish, the service we have received from swift renewables has been excellent in all respects. From the initial inquiry, through placing the order, installation and follow-up, everything has been exceptionally well organised and professionally executed. If I could award a 6th star or more, I would. This company is highly recommended

Excellent service: efficient, polite, tidy - a pleasure to have working in the house. Everything up and running, with no issues, within the specified time-frame.

Swift have been excellent throughout. From initial consultation and advice to an expert and friendly team performing the install. They did a great and very neat job, all cable runs placed in as discreet places as possible and always keeping us in the loop as to what was happening and when. I checked out a few places including on octopus website and the solar battery package we had was more reasonable. Will definitely be returning when it's time for our heat pump install.

The service we received was excellent and I would recommend Swift if you considering solar panels, the system they installed has been excellent and has worked as planed, I would really recommend them to you.

We recently contracted Swift Renewables to install air conditioning in three locations in our village hall. The whole experience was new for us but having Stuart and his team of installers carry out the work was testament indeed to the professionalism of this company. We are highly satisfied with the high standard of workmanship, the flexible way in which the installation was carried out (with minimal disruption to hall users) and the co-operative way Stuart worked with other contractors on site. We would highly recommend this company to anyone considering installing renewable systems of heating and cooling.

I've had 16 solar panels plus a large battery fitted, then a heat exchange pump. Two friendly teams who didn't mind answering questions. I felt quite safe with all of them. Very pleased with the work done.

Swift have been fantastic start to finish on our air source heat pump installation. Each stage of the process was handled with expertise and knowledge - including getting our pump installed on a balcony, which was no mean feat to get up there! We're thrilled to be off gas and glad that we'll be retaining the link to the experts through annual checks. Solar next, one day!

Swift installed an air source heat pump and a solar system in a very action packed week! The service and quality of the work was excellent. Highly recommend

We had previously used Swift for a Heat pump & was impressed with their service so decided to get solar from them as we knew if there were any questions they would help during & after the install. They just got a 8KW & Tesla battery, working really well.

Solar panels and heat pump installed by Swift in May 2024. Good professional advice and communication, and all work carried out to schedule and to high standard. All staff helpful and courteous. Very pleased with the work.

Swift Renewables have just installed on my house a 3kW solar photovoltaic array, along with an inverter and battery storage. From the intial consultation to the engineer and electrician finishing on site, I've enjoyed exceptional service. The installation engineer took the time to answer my questions and to provide advice on how I can use the system effectively. The quality of the work is excellent and I couldn't be happier with my new set-up.

We decided to take the plunge with solar panels and air conditioning, and we're so glad we went with Swift! Right from the initial consultation, we were impressed. They took the time to understand our needs and budget, offering clear explanations and honest advice. They didn't push the most expensive option, but tailored a system that perfectly fit our home and lifestyle. The quote was detailed and transparent, with no hidden surprises. The installation itself was efficient and professional. The quality of their work was top-notch, and they clearly take pride in their craft. Our solar panels are generating clean energy that powers our new, efficient air conditioning. We've already seen a significant drop in our electricity bills, and the house stays beautifully warm even on the coldest days. We are now looking forward to a cooler summer.

Original installers of our Air Source Heat Pump, neat job heats the house perfectly it was double the size of all the other systems quoted which we doubt would have ever kept the house warm. Serviced each year and they have adjusted it to work with the Octopus discount power schedule from our energy provider.

A good job done by an excellent team. Getting a heat pump fitted did seem a bit of a leap into the dark as we didn’t know anyone with one and while we understood how they worked, it wasn’t clear whether they would work in our middle aged house. The main fitting took about a week and the team who fitted it were tidy and considerate. There is a fair bit of disturbance as we had all the radiators changed as well as the heat pump fitted, but it fine overall. There was then a delay as we needed to get a new concrete base for the outdoor unit, but that couldn’t really be helped. The final joining up took another day and a half, but we have been warm since and all’s good so far.

Highly recommend. The team at the office and guys on site are all very helpful and professional. They had a challenge integrating the new heat pump and tank with our old heating system and somewhat unusual pipe work but they resolved issues quickly, kept us informed and were always polite, considerate and tidy. They designed the system around our family of 4 and future renovation plans and exceeded our expectations. Very impressed and excited to move forward with our new sustainable system! Thank you Swift team!

Highly recommend swift. They installed our heat pump and changed our old electric storage heaters to modern radiators. Brilliant work and lovely guys who always cleaned up after themselves. Once work was complete they showed us how to use the system. Can’t fault them at all. Thank you!!

Great company. They sent an engineer not a sales person to quote for our job and sized the solar array/battery to maximize what we could afford at this time with no hard sell. Quality of the work is top notch with no corners cut. All paperwork, certificates and pre checks carried out. Would recommend to anyone and will be using again in the future.

Swift installed 5kW of solar panels and a battery ready inverter for me summer 2023. The technician who did the initial site inspection and quote came up with a plan for siting the inverter and hiding the cables that we were happy with. The installation engineers were polite, friendly and very knowledgeable about all things solar. They followed the agreed plan and did a good job installing the system and putting the roof back to how it was. Unfortunately I wasn’t around the day the system was commissioned so I missed the hand over. However, I contacted the back office staff and was able to get the information I needed.

After discussing an air source heat pump solution with many companies, I settled on Swift Renewable. The team were knowledgeable, patient, delivered our unit on time and it’s been in for over a year and works perfectly. Very professional outfit and would highly recommend them. After the first install we bought another unit from them for a separate property.

Having had SWIFT fit our solar panels and battery we decided to get them to fit an air conditioner for our bedroom. It was all completed by Stuart in one day and he left the place spotless. The a/c unit works like a dream. Recommend Swift without hesitation.

I had the pleasure of having with Josh and his dad from Swift Renewables for the installation of an air conditioning system in my home. Their exceptional organizational skills and friendly demeanor made the entire process a breeze. They not only kept everything tidy but also ensured that the work was carried out seamlessly. I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome and their approach. I enthusiastically recommend Swift Renewables to anyone seeking top-notch service – their professionalism and efficiency truly set them apart.

I can thoroughly recommend Swift Mechanical/Renewables. Their design and installation teams delivered a very effective ASHP system for our development project. I found every member of their staff to be polite helpful and knowledgeable

We have a heat pump installed by Swift. They have been very responsive to any queries we have had. Most recently, an engineer talked us through a reset process when the pump got itself in a pickle and stopped producing hot water. The issue was quickly resolved with no charge so we are very happy with the after sales service.

Couldn't be happier with Swift Renewables. We contacted many companies for quotes for a solar battery, but it was an easy choice. Josh was knowledgeable, professional and showed respect for our home from the first visit. He also was very helpful with my many questions. We were very happy with the service from the whole team and are delighted with our new solar battery.

We had our heat pump installed one year ago by Swift Renewables. We were very happy with the service provided by Swift - they offered very good advice, communicated very clearly and quickly and the install team were excellent. We're really happy with our heat pump, it worked perfectly over the winter - good value for money.

Ditching our gas boiler was a huge (slightly scary) step but the team were very helpful and our heat pump works very well and produces hot water in minus temperatures. The unit is a bit louder than we were expecting when it's on, so beware if you're having it fitted right next to a bedroom window. Big shout out to Dave who worked incredibly hard to get the work done and was so polite and unobtrusive in our home, even when he got the massive drill out (no pun intended).

I had Swift install a Daikin ASHP for me in Feb 2022, I spent many months searching out and talking to manufacturers and installers to make sure I purchased the best system for my property. Swift were a local family run business with years of experience which ticked the right boxes and is good to know for future backup purposes. The installation was smooth and the unit has been working flawlessly since, I've since shown the system to a number of people who are also now interested in making the move away from gas.

Everyone is knowledgeable, professional & friendly with good communication. We already had solar panels installed by another company, Swift Renewables came to install the battery. The installers made us aware that the previous company had made an error and not fitted the correct sized inverter which meant the energy converted was limited. If it wasn’t for them we wouldn’t have known. We are grateful to Swift Renewables and now wished we had known about them in the first place as we would have chosen them to undertake the whole installation.

Swift fitted an air source heat pump and associated central heating works in our old mill building. They were very professional from start to finish and clearly know their stuff. They were able to size the system appropriately even though it is quite an unusual building and any problems they encountered were tackled in a confidence-inspiring way. As a result of this we also got them back to fit a set of solar panels to our outbuilding, which was also completed in a very neat and professional way.

Great installation of solar panels, inverter and battery for my house - friendly service, quick to install, neat work and well priced. Highly recommend.

Swift Mechanical are a superb company. They recently installed an air source heat pump for our home. Good people who talked me though the system and process then did a great job with the install. Highly recommend these renewable experts.

Terrible customer service. Installed a system and 3 years later cost me over £2000 to correct . Avoid this business

Very pleased with how the team worked putting air source heat pump into my property. They always talked us through stuff, cleaned up properly and were really helpful answering questions. No hesitation in recommending them. :-)

We had an Air source heat pump system installed, after the replacement of the water tank in the attic, (need to be vertical not horizontal) the system is working well. We had a couple of snagging items & once they came back, especially Dave the plumber, all the issues have been resolved. Very nice team, polite & cleaned up every day when they finished work.

Swift installed a heat pump for me. I chose them because of their knowledge; they were streets ahead of the many sales staff I spoke to. These guys really know their heat pumps. Good design = good result. Dealt with all the issues of retrofitting into an existing house.

Excellent company to deal with - from producing a very competitive quote to installation within 2 weeks. The team were very professional and I would highly recommend.
