Very grateful to Green Flare for an excellent Stiebel Eltron air source heat pump install, with compact Sunamp Thermino as our storage system, perfect for a confined space. The installation team were friendly and professional, and were responsive and understanding as we worked through a few snags post-install. We're really pleased with the pump, it has been consistent and easy to operate, and has made living/working at home so much more pleasant through winter, and has dramatically reduced our monthly bills.

The service from start to finish was excellent , Clayton turned up on time on the day of surveying my property for battery back up on my existing solar panel system, the quote was as discussed, the three guys turned up on time the day of installation and they were very polite done a excellent job left it clean and tidy when finished and set it all up on my phone. overall 10 out of 10 ps caleb was brilliant.

Fantastic service. Helpful and friendly on the phone, right through to technician turning up when he was supposed to and solving the issue. Our system is quite old now, so when it comes time to renew we will definitely be using Green Flare again, both for installation and follow up service.

Review after 1 full year of use! Had a system installed in dec 2024 at short notice. They started within 2 weeks of order. I had a Fox ESS system installed, 10kwh battery and 5.3kw of solar. It’s been amazing, with octopus agile export integrated into the Fox system it essentially means my utilities costs have been free. I’ve seen peaks of 5.5kw from the solar. Peaks of 35kw+ produced over the course of the day and agile import as low as -8p kw. Yes ‘minus’! As in they pay me to charge the battery at weird times of the day! For the whole year I produced around 5600kwh of energy meaning it was more than enough to cover my elec bills and produce earnings to cover a lot of my gas use too. Only thing I did overlook was the importance of Bird mesh to prevent pigeons. It should be an industry standard requirement I think. But I had render done not long after so had it done when that scaffold was up. As a minimum, not including agile dynamics, At 26p a kWh 5600kw is £1456 savings. Try and get that guaranteed annual return on £9500 elsewhere. I bet you can’t! 😆…… and energy prices are only rising so each year it’s getting better.

Green Flare designed, supplied and installed a ballasted ground mounted solar array with remote hybrid inverter and battery storage. We had approached other companies, but the system that they suggested seemed most suitable for our ground conditions. We’re really happy with the end result and would definitely recommend them and their team. We’ve just ordered some more batteries with them.

I had both solar panels (+batteries) and a heat pump installed by Green Flare. These people really know their stuff, and will go the extra mile to make sure your installation is a success. The heat pump model they use is amazing, far better than the low-end models you get from energy suppliers (huge COP and extremely quiet). As for solar, the quote from my energy supplier said they could only fit 4 panels on my roof: Green Flare had a proper look and got 11 on there (and fixed my roof while they were at it!). I needed a custom hot water setup (photo attached - pure craftsmanship) which naturally had some teething problems, but they were up to the challenge, tweaking and fixing until it worked perfectly. I absolutely recommend Green Flare and their products, and I'm very glad I didn't go with a generic one-size-fits-all, churn-it-out-and-move-on type of installer.

We recently had GreenFlare install an air source heat pump and underfloor heating in our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the service and results. Green Flare completed the installation of my 19-panel plus 12.4kWH battery and invertor a few weeks ago. It is working brilliantly, with big reductions in my energy consumption already. Tom went through the design of the system with me initially. He's a real expert and he has a system on his own house, so he advises from personal experience so provides much practical advice. He didn't try to sell me extra bits. For example, a car charger. He advised it was best to wait until I got an electric car, as the charger technology may have improved by then. Joe in the office was extremely helpful, coordinating the installation with my builder's programme. The guys who fitted the system (Clay, Matt, Alex and the team) were extremely collaborative, ultra-helpful and very polite. They are very professional and were responsive and keen to listen to our comments - even down to changing the colour of some trunking. I am delighted with the service, the quality of the system and the results. Thanks again guys, you have one very happy customer here!

Green Flare were amongst a number of companies we approached for a quotation to provide solar panels to the village hall. The boss, Tom was more than helpful and always available to answer our questions. He has an easy going, knowledgable personality and nothing is too much trouble. His communications skills are excellent and we were able to understand what we wanted and the cost (without VAT!) Green Flare had to bid for the 'grant funded' work but were the cheapest yet most comprehensive bid. They are also local to the site. They managed the scaffolders and dealt with the integration with the battery, inverter and linking to provide and income from the National Grid. Green Flare did everything and more that we wanted and know they are just a phone call away if we have any queries understanding the App showing what we are generating! Selecting a solar panel installer is a bit of a minefield - I met several before spotting a Green Flare van in our village an asking for a quote - I had very specific ideas about the sighting and visual impact of my installation and the Green Flare team worked hard to accommodate my requirements - The installation team were helpful and efficient and I am delighted with the finished product.

Greenflare originally came onboard as the heat pump supplier to backup the MVHR unit we were interested in installing. They ended up solving all our problems to do with renewable energy on our project. They managed the entire GSHP instillation including the boreholes, ground floor underfloor heating, cooling linked into the MVHR system, hot water tucked away in the loft and solar including batteries. In doing so they overcame all the technical challenges of installing such a system in a 1930s semi. Matt and Ollie were great to work with on the GSHP and the guys on the solar just got on and did their job as well. Greenflare really did deliver. We’re now living in a zero carbon house having had the gas disconnected, using a green electricity supplier (Octopus) and now that the days are getting longer generating most of the power we use! We are very happy with then service provided by Greenflare.

I've just had an air source heat pump installed by Green Flare and so far I've been very impressed by its performance, though it is early days. I decided to go for the more expensive option, which offered additional reliability and the possibility of the pump being repaired remotely, as the pump was for a holiday let. Before the pump, heating and hot water were provided by a wood burner with a back boiler, a very labour intensive and not very convenient system. The team who installed the pump were hard-working, polite and very careful with the fabric of the cottage. I would definitely recommend Green Flare to anyone thinking of installing an air source heat pump.

Fantastic experience. We had PV and two batteries installed, as well as an EV charger and Myenergi Eddi (for heating water tank). Tom /Green-flare installed solar pv on our house. Design constraints relating to a flat roof were intelligently overcome. An initial snag with an inverter was speedily resolved, the system has since performed perfectly. We had a high level of confidence in Green Flare following their initial site survey and explanation of their solar panels and battery storage proposal. The who installation went smoothly supported by their excellent and knowledgeable site team. We were kept fully informed of all site visits. During final commissioning we were given a system induction. The issuing of a product information pack took a while but was very comprehensive and well worth the wait. The system has been operational for over 3 months and has performed fully inline with expectations. However, contact with the office, whether by email or telephone, could be improved.

The team at Green Flare installed solar panels, an inverter and battery for us in June 2022. There was a delay in completing the installation due to the lack of availability of the battery but this was beyond Green Flare’s control and they kept us updated throughout. Initial consultation was very professional and informative. Unfortunately the experience was not as straight forward as expected due to several issues along the way, all of which were resolved but not without persistent chasing. What was considered to be a 2-3 day job spanned over 6 weeks before the full system was up and running. Very grateful to Tom Chudley-Evans for his tireless efforts in finding and fixing the technical problem. Small changes to the customer service would’ve make a huge difference to the overall rating given - starting with better communication from Tom Clark.

We're still waiting for a revised quote for an air source heat pump for our offices. It's been many weeks of us chasing and promises of being sent it, we're still waiting. We have a grant that is time limited, and was given to us on the basis of their original quote. I do hope this is rectified soon. Possibly they have too much demand and not enough resource to meet it, but it would be good if we could be told if that were the case. We try to support snail businesses as much as possible because we are also a micro-business. I'm sure they're lovely people and hope this is just a glitch.

Following a recommendation we contacted Tom at Green Flare. The advice was professional, objective with options clearly explained and set out. We appointed Green Flare to install an ASHP and full underfloor heating and hot water system for our barn conversion. Green flare have just installed solar panels and battery storage and it was a first class experience from start to finish .Tom and the team at Green flare are very friendly and have an outstanding work etheic they made sure everything was working and explained the system would help us and the environment.

Green Flare installed my solar PV as well as a air source heat pump and solar thermal. They also installed all our radiators, underfloor heating, plumbed our entire house and set up a Honeywell thermostat system that works really well. Tom helped me through the process of heat incentives available at the time and we worked out a design that we're very happy with and has been incredibly reliable. The system was installed through an extended build time and Tom was patient as we slowly refurbished our house and gave us vital information and advice through our build.

We wanted to reduce our carbon footprint and reduce our heating bills. Green Flare replaced a very old oil fired boiler system with an Air Source Heat Pump, also installing some solar panels on the roof. We did this in conjunction with some major insulation works. Result: From a cold and damp house to a warm and dry house saving us nearly £1,000 a year on energy bills. Have run the system through two full winters now and still very satisfied.

I had been thinking about installing a heat pump for a while as our old oil boiler was on its last legs, but I had found it impossible to find an installer who knew what they were talking about. Then I spoke to Tom. He was a revelation, it was clear that he did fully understand the technology and he did not try to sell me anything which would not work in my old house. I had initially contacted Tom because they deal with Stiebel Eltron but he ended up suggesting a Mitsubishi Ecodan as it was more suitable for our application. He surveyed the site and proposed a system, and then he and Aaron installed it in a matter of weeks. Aaron was prepared to take the time to install it in a way which worked best for us and the quality of his workmanship is superb. Heat pump systems are more complex than boilers and you need someone who knows what they are doing. The system is working well, it is much quieter than the oil boiler, and it is more controllable. I would recommend GreenFlare whole-heartedly.

Efficient and willing to listen to customer. There was a mistake in using another inverter which is not we wanted but changed quickly after letting them know. I'd suggest them to our friends if they need solar power system.

I invested in a highly complex solar panel system 10 years ago when I renovated my house, which was installed by another company. Within 2 years it wasn't working properly and the company had gone AWOL. British Gas wouldn't touch it as they said it was too complicated. Tom was recommended by someone locally. He quickly identified the issue and replaced the faulty part with a much better system. Over the last couple of years, he has saved me hundreds of pounds, as the solar power now generates all of my hot water throughout the summer. Recently, I have had some concerns over the boiler again and he has been quick to offer fixes, even when out-of-hours. Can't recommend highly enough.

Not recommended - different engineers from same company, different solutions, annual check seemingly not checking much, however the bill was (un)reassuringly large.

I just wanted to say thank you to Tom and the team for sorting our problem with our boiler we have had our house for 2 years and have had problems with our boiler since we moved in, after having several different engineers round to fix and was told everytime it was unfixable and needed replacing we couldn’t afford to make the jump and replace our boiler as we were saving for major refurbishments of the house , Our friends recommended Tom to look at it so we made the call once Tom had come round and spent an hour or so assessing he was able to repair by replacing a faulty part which nobody else could diagnose , Great work Green flare this has made our life’s much more manageable and less stressful knowing that we can use our heating and hot water now stress free for that I thank you very much and would recommend to anybody that has boiler problems top job !
