Strysen supplied and fitted a new boiler and rads. From survey to fit, David and the team were friendly and professional. They worked quickly and left the house tidy. They were happy to answer many questions and explained everything clearly. I wouldnt hesitate using them again and recommend them without hesitation.

Excellent tidy work adding a radiator to a bedroom, which was not as simple as originally envisaged.

We had a need to call out an engineer as we had no hot water from our gas boiler and subsequently no central heating. We were expecting a visit in the afternoon but David arrived around 11.00 am. He was pleasant, professional and once he examined the boiler he explained what the problem was. This was easily rectified and the boiler was up and running straightaway. Very impressed and pleased with the service. Thank you.

We had our boiler replaced in November. Strysen were competitive, competent and efficient. It is rare indeed to find such good service. I was so impressed I used Strysen again in December to replace a boiler in our son’s family home elsewhere in the country. Good people who we are happy to have in our home, that aspect is important too. Delighted with the results.

1st class service yet again from strysen. 3 new rads fitted by the lovely brodie and danny. I only use this firm for over 20 years for boilers, services and rad updates due to quality and experience. Refitted my bathroom 3 years ago total upgrade and still looks as good as new

In September we had our old boiler replaced with a Worcester bosh by Simon and Harry at Strysen Heating. They arrived on time were polite, clean and tidy workers and gave clear instructions on how to use the new boiler. Strysen heating did a excellent job of my central heating boiler change. They removed all the old components and installed the new boiler and ancillaries with the minimum of fuss and dust. From the quotation process through to installation I would fully recommend them. I am particularly grateful for the patience shown in educating me in using the new control for hot water and heating.

Excellent service provided by Strysen Heating Ltd. A new boiler was installed in a timely manner after acceptance of the quote. Friendly and professional service by all and I would not hesitate to recommend the company.

Used the Strysen heating ltd to drag my heating system to the 21st century. Mr David Morris, the Director of the company di the survey and advised that needed doing. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable person. Punctual, polite and efficient planning, set a date for the job to be done quickly and his amazing team finished the job of upgrading the thermostats, hotwater tank conversion to an unvented one, sorted the bathroom ventilator fans efficiently, sorted out the showers all in 2 days. Very impressive company, engineers, and team. Highly recommend them.

Had a basin and radiator fitted as well as a boiler service with Strysen, always fantastic service undertaken quickly with helpful information to go with. Will continue to use them for all of my gas and water needs.

We would like to thank you, Simon and Harry for your invaluable assistance when called upon over the past 2-3 weeks with our 'antique' boiler and the problems we have had, particularly during a cold spell without heating! Being able to secure a gas valve at short notice when other firms were happy to respond with 'the part is now obsolete' and then to be able to install a new boiler within a matter of days. Simon and Harry have done an excellent job, we have no complaints whatsoever, they were efficient, courteous and tidy and happy to help.

The central heating system in our property was a single pipe installation around 60 years old. Strysen quoted to upgrade the system to a twin pipe flow which necessitated removing all the old pipework, radiators and fixtures and running completely new pipework throughout the house. The boiler was also replaced. I cannot praise highly enough the quality of the work undertaken, courtesy and flexibility of the installation team and the attitude of everyone at Strysen from Director level to office administration.

I had 4 visits from Strysen engineers to fix my boiler. I was told on two separate occasions that my boiler had been fixed. It wasn't fixed and leaked all over the floor on two occasions. I even had to call the emergency help line on a Saturday morning as the boiler was leaking all over the floor. It also took days to respond to my e mails.

I have been a customer of Strysen for 3 years now. Everyone in the team is excellent. Work is done on time, very high standard professional job every time and the prices charged are excellent. My central heating broke down recently and the issue was sorted the same day .. I cannot thank the team enough. I wish this company the very best... Will continue to be their loyal customer 🙂

Strysen Heating fitted a new boiler and some smart TRV valves for me last year. The engineers that fitted the boiler and valves were polite, quick and efficient. Update, my boiler had the first annual service recently. Again the engineer was polite, professional and thorough when carrying out the work.

I was really impressed with the professionalism, mannerisms of David who came to fix my central heating system, under my insurance policy. He was courteous and polite, and took the time to explain the issues with my heating. Very satisfied with his work!

Strysen did a great job for us, installing a new Mixergy hot water tank and boiler. Very professional, on time, helpful with any queries, and took the initiative to work around issues that were not of their making.

My family have used Strysen for new boilers and repairs. David Morris was very helpful and offered great advice on design to change an outdated 18 year old bathroom. David fully managed the whole project over two weeks. The quality of workmanship from him and his team has been first class. His team were a pleasure to have in my home and were all courteous, polite and hardworking. I was never left without any facilities and they cleaned up each day. It was an upheaval for 2 weeks, but what a beautiful finish. Use this firm as they take such a pride in what they do and deliver amazing results

I had a Viessmann boiler installed less than 5 years ago with Strysen and also had it serviced every year with Strysen... Recently my hot water was going hot and cold. Called Strysen who sent 2 engineers around - they were trying to charge me £129 to replace a part (as well as the office sending me a call out charge of £56 for not fixing the issue - I wasn't made aware of the callout cost of this beforehand either by the way)... I call Viessmann to send their own engineer for 2nd opinion, they fix it on the day by removing debris in system and cleaning parts... And the reason for the fault was due to "over heating in DHW mode due to circulation restriction inside the boiler" the boiler was not serviced properly and never has been according to engineer "whatever they've done, they haven't serviced it" and pointed to a red seal that's never been broken which is supposed to be proof of this, as well stating something else (As you can tell I know nothing about boilers like most average people). So I've been conned 4 years in a row for annual services not carried out properly. Very upset and will not be using again.

I am a landlord and needed a gas engineer to check and issue a gas safety certificate. From the initial booking up to and including the work carried out the service was excellent. Polite staff, good communication, good value, and turned up exactly when arranged. Bob Newey, Sutton Coldfield

Rang and an engineer called me, explained issue and gave advice to sort without charge. Edit problem then reoccurred. This time engineer came out spent almost 2 hours draining one radiator changed one valve and didn't solve problem. Another firm who others have mentioned Perry came out and firstly identified problem in 2 minutes and then replaced radiator both valves, added a new radiator and sorted all pipework.

Friendly ,professional , gave an honest appraisal of the problem, didn't try to bump up the price with in necessary work.

We had strysen come out on two separate occasions. The first time to emergency fix our existing boiler as it was shooting out water outside! They were quick and temporarily fixed our problem. We then scheduled them to come back and replace our boiler for us - they did an amazing job, kept mess to a minimum and explained how everything worked. Would highly recommend them!

I can't thank Strysen Heating enough for the excellent service and installation of my amazing boiler and thermostat. My installation was not a simple process as i needed the boiler moving from my kitchen wall to the upstairs on the other side of my house. i did my research and got a number of quotes and Strysen were the most competitive. The work was executed in a professional and efficient way with as little disruption to our busy household as possible. They left good the walls in the kitchen so you would even know their had been a boiler and vent there! The thermostat has been so incredibly useful and has helped me control my heating bills so the upgrade is paying for itself! I cant recommend them enough, the best decision i ever made!!!

In my experience a total waste of time. Had 2 different engineers from Strysen Heating come out who couldn't fix what was described to me as a simplistic problem with my boiler by the company that did manage to fix it in the end after just one visit. The name of that company was Perry Plumbing and Heating also based in Sutton Coldfield. Needless to say, I would contact those instead.

Guy came to service my boiler, here 30-45 mins, said all was fine. 5 minutes later tried to run hot water - cold. Rang the office who got the guy to come back 15 mins later. Looked at boiler, woffledaboit service mode or something, then had to call the boiler manufacturer for advice. Then drained some water out of the system and all fine. Looking back - it was so strange he never asked me to run any hot water after the service (normally they do). Boiler is on a contract so do not choose the people who service it -next year will find another supplier.

We had a new Worcester Bosch boiler fitted, excellent job and I thought at a very reasonable price.

If I could leave no stars I would of. Avoid.

I never bother with writing reviews good or bad but I cannot recommend Strysen Heating highly enough. I've had work done in the past and a lot of work done recently all of which to a very high standard. From general plumbing to a new boiler, an added hot water tank and NEST. Thank you Strysen.

We had a new combi boiler fitted by Strysen. Shortly afterwards we noticed a damp patch in the ceiling of the hall we realised that a tap had not been properly capped so called Strysen to fix it they then sent me an excessive bill. When I phoned to complain it took them a week to decide I didn't need to pay. I should have charged them for the damp patch!! Now we had a problem with the remote control before they would send a mechanic all they wanted was to tell me they were going to charge me. It turned out it was due to incorrect programming. It took 2 minutes for them to diagnose the problem and 2 more minutes to reprogram it they charged £60. I know they are a business but money isn't everything.
