Excellent customer service, very good Company, have we used for them a number of years, telephoned Wednesday morning with an issue with the shower, engineer came out the same day (due to a job cancellation) shower was sorted the next (due to a job cancellation) work took just over an hour and a very reasonable price . Shower is now sorted. From start to finish customer service was first class, from the girls on the phone in the office right through to the engineer. Very pleased with job. Wouldn't trust anyone else.

Phoned Butco this morning as my central heating not functioning.Spoke to a very pleasant lady who noted my concerns and she advised an engineer would call either today or tomorrow.Engineer called soon after midday and analysed problem quickly.Temporary fix to follow with permanent repair.Excellent service for many years.No hesitation on recommending Butco.

What a disappointment.After having this company recommended to me I was pleased that an engineer came to assess the problem with our heating system ,a charge for of £73for this.However,no one could come to do the recommened power flush for 2 weeks!This I accepted despite my husband being ill and in hospital and it being the coldest week in November and us both being in our70's,and a deposit of £145 was required.On the allotted day,we were expecting engineer to arrive at 8:30 am,but the phone rang instead to say he was ill and it would be a further 2weeks and no one else was available!!So we wait!True to their word the engineer arrived at 8:10 am,it was raining.To my horror he announced he would have to cancel because it was raining,but because the cleaning fluid was in,that would help the system-no one had been to put the fluid in.He didnt have any,so I asked him to go and ger it and put it in system.That then meant we had to wait another week!!!The job is finally done by a very grumpy ,almost non-communative man,and after my complaint my bill was reduced by £50,I naively thought the original callout charge of £73 would be deducted too as Butco were given the job,but no.Please do not give this company work.They are truly rubbish and dont deserve to be trading.

Today I had first boiler service by Butco engineer -Mal . He was very professional and knowledgeable. He carried out extremely thorough boiler service. He explained what he is doing . He checked pressures, spark plugs cleaned the heat exchanger something never been done by British Gas. I’ve requested same engineer to do boiler service next year. Butco you are the best Keep it up.

I received a call from Butco regarding booking. my annual boiler service just over an hour ago. As an engineer was in the area he attended within about 20 minutes and carried out the service. RC is the same engineer who attended recently regarding a possible boiler fault. This was diagnosed as a faulty shower, which we had replaced by our bathroom installer. All round excellent good value service.

Our boiler was due it's Annual service so contacted Butco. Tom the engineer who came out was very courteous and efficient. It was a very good service from start to finish and would highly recommend this Company 👍thank you.

Butcos engineer Malcolm did a great job repairing my fault boiler. Service was quick and efficient.

Great heating and plumbing service. I have a service and maintenance contract with them and they are very professional team. They cover all aspects of the plumbing, heating, boiler and electrical care. Very reasonable rates. Prompt when attending annual inspections of the heating and boiler systems.

BUTCO recently took over EVCO heating which I had used for years and received an excellent service from. I contacted BUTCO to replace a broken shower pump; an engineer was sent out who then looked at it for two minutes and confirmed that a new shower pump was needed (as I already knew and had instructed). I then received a £69 call out fee for this. I would also add that a BUTCO engineer (an old EVCO engineer actually) was at the property an hour earlier servicing the boiler. However, BUTCO decided to send a completely separate person out the same day at the aforementioned cost of £69. Disgusting customer service - avoid. EDIT: In response to BUTCO's reply: The fault had been diagnosed by a plumber previously, as you had been informed. It was not self-diagnosed. I specifically requested that an engineer come out to REPLACE the pump. I did not agree to somebody coming to survey the fault. You cannot argue that it is acceptable customer service to charge somebody for a service that they did not request. Furthermore, it is incorrect to state that I was made aware of the price of a callout. Had I known that I'd be charged £69 simply to attend my property, I would not have agreed to it. Frame things however you will - I'm sure that anyone reading this will agree that your charges are entirely unreasonable, especially given that it was for a service that your customer didn't request or require.

Called in the morning around 0800 for a leak, Engineer arrived before lunch and fixed the issue. Couldn’t be happier with the service.

Simon Cullis is an excellent engineer. Quickly worked out the problem (which had foiled two previous attempts by a different firm) & put it right. Quite expensive, but now, thankfully, the central heating is working.

Sent 2 engineers to fix my elderly mother’s central heating boiler. Neither was able to get it working, and the second engineer declared it beyond repair and recommended a new boiler. As the unit was less than 10 years old and appeared to be in excellent condition, I asked a local independent engineer to take a look. He diagnosed a faulty fan, replaced on the same day for £175. I would advise caution in dealing with this company - I have complained to head office and received a telephone apology, but it does seem that “replace not repair” seems to be the easy option for these people.

Have Boilercare with Butco called them on the 21/03 just after 11am to say i had a issue with my boiler lady took my details and said she could have a engineer out that afternoon. Simon arrived and located problem to a few parts, parts orderd Simon returned on 24/03 fitted the parts and serviced boiler at the same time and all working both Simon and Butco was very professional and put the other large companies to shame and they can take some lessons from Butco on good customer services.

Very quick response times. Kate, who I spoke to originally, was especially helpful and the engineer Simon was polite and tidy. He explained their maintenance plans in detail and we’re now covered for 2 years!

Butco’s plans are great – I found that I can get everything I need for less than £10 a month. Even 24/7 callout for emergencies.

We had just moved into house to find a leaking radiator with water all over floor. On phoning Butco And explained the problem they sent an engineer out to us within an hour. Needed new radiator which was not a problem and installed quickly. Excellent service given by Kelly and her team of engineers. Highly recommended.

Not impressed failed to identify the problem with the boiler. Didn’t call me back to say they couldn’t fix it either. I work for a large city centre firm and have told people to avoid this company at all costs

I am totally disgusting with Butco I have been a customer for 24yrs only ever needed to use my 24hr call out once before has trouble then so this time have had to phone them up on emergency call out due to leak in pipes in my boiler area have called 5 times not even a text message or any form of feedback very upset will b on to them Monday morning 😤😤

Had several problems with my boiler recently and I cant fault the service and responses I’ve had from BUTCO.

We are very satisfied with the standard of work from Butco heating from start to finish, they sent Nigel out to replace and install us a new boiler. He was very polite and professional throughout. We didn't notice he was even there, his work was very efficient , quick and left the house each day very tidy. We would highly recommend them.

Had the boiler serviced and was told it needed over £350 in repairs due to a leaking gas valve, had a second opinion by a reputable company and all that was needed was a joint leading to the gas valve retightening! Only had to pay call out charge for second company.
