Great company with excellent and proffesional install and great customer service all round. Used this company for a second time. They installed Solar for me several years ago, and have gone back for a battery. They gave excellent advice and customer servicing at the start on choosing the right battery size for me, they also remebered me (not just the job) from the previous install showing a good personal and proffesional touch. Offered great quality at a great price. Kept me updated on the time line and explained everything brilliantly when the application went to the grid. Recommend for both Solar and battery installation.

Absolutely first class job by Ecocute, who installed 14 solar panels at my home. From the first contact I made with them there was no sales pitch at all, just totally honest, professional advice from Connor in their office who is very knowledgeable on solar installations. They did a remote survey and emailed the options I could take. I paid £195 deposit when I placed the order and the balance on completion of the job. The scaffolding was erected a few days before the installation date. The team from Ecocute arrived on time on the day of installation and were very professional. Everything was done to a high standard and with no mess at all. They installed the panels on my roofs, the Inverter, connected everything up and explained how it all works. They even set up the Solis App on my phone and showed me how to use it. Throughout the process Connor at their office was always available to answer my questions. On completion of the job I paid the balance. A couple of days after the job had been finished and after I had paid the balance in full Connor rang me to let me know a couple of the roof tiles had cracked when the roofer removed them to fit the brackets for the panels. I didn't know any tiles had cracked and had he not told me I'd never would have. He said the roofer would come back and replace them in the next few days and thats exactlywhat happened. I would recommend Ecocute to anyone, they did a fantastic job at a great price, and are totally honest.

After getting several quotes, I decided to go with Ecocute for my solar panels and Tesla Powerwall 3. They were competitively priced and, more importantly, I felt comfortable with them from the very first conversation. This was a big investment for me and I asked a lot of questions. Every member of the team took the time to explain things properly and put my mind at ease. I never felt under any pressure and no question was ever treated as silly. They understood that I needed a bit of hand-holding through the process and were brilliant from start to finish. A special thank you to Connor in the office, who must have wondered what he'd let himself in for! I know I wasn't the easiest customer and probably asked far more questions than most, but he was always patient, helpful and quick to come back to me. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and that level of customer service made a real difference. Corey, Reece and Scott did a fantastic job with the installation. They were friendly, polite and happy to answer questions while they worked. The installation is neat and tidy, and they cleaned everything up before they left. You wouldn't know they'd been there. I'm absolutely delighted with the finished system and the whole experience. If you're thinking about having solar installed, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ecocute. Excellent workmanship, outstanding customer service and a company that genuinely cares about its customers.

Ecocute were asked to offer solar power generation equipment , installation and commissioning base on my son's recommendation based on his experience with the company. The office based staff kept me informed prior to and post installation and offered ongoing support for operating my solar power plant. Contact with the company was straight forward and we discussed a solar installation which would meet my requirement. The price, equipment and delivery where acceptable and the worked on improving the installation date. The panel installer arrived promptly on the agreed date and make an excellent installation on a slate roof which was wet and slippy. The devices used for securing the panel were neat and very effective and better than I had expectation having seen other contactors installations. He left the site neat and tidy. The electrical installation team arrived on the agreed time/date and encountered a serious concern of my making. After an in company discussion they found a solution to the challenge. The team worked diligently and produced a very tidy/ neat installation which I am proud to show visitors. The software for monitoring the plants output is easy to read and very informative. Considering that Ecocute are based a considerable distance from my location I regard the total package as being excellent and I am impressed with their whole team.

I cannot reccomend ecocute enough, from first contact to installation they was brilliant. The team who installed my panels Corey, Reece & Scott was a pleasure to have around everything went as explained by connor in the office. Just super smooth and slick guys even in terrible conditions. The price was unbeatable too! I had multiple quotes and ecoutes quote was just as advertised on their website too!

After 2 years study reviews we took the plunge Customer Service Quality Value Been looking at installing solar and battery at our bungalow on the east coast for 2 years. Joined many Facebook groups dealing with the subject and came across Eco cute in alot of discussions and all were very positive. Looked at you tube videos and read reviews online, studied pricing and equipment offered etc. Now there might be cheaper and there are definitely more expensive company's but Eco cutes reputation and quality of work swung it for us. From the start of order all was explained, was given an installation date and true to word they were here before 9am. They worked in very poor weather to complete the first part of the instal, returned the next day and completed and commissioned the system. I had actually recommended a neighbour to Eco cute who had a solar instal the same day. The only negative was they did not eat enough of our surplus Xmas biscuits to save our waistline. I would 100% Recommend this company on our experience.

Amazing from start to finish! We have wanted solar panels installing for quite some time but never took the final leap into getting them fitted. Once we had decided to do it we approached a few companies including big national installers and local providers who came back with a variety of prices and packages. Connor at Ecocute was great, he spent a long time on the phone talking me through the different options and how it all works, he then went and built up a few different packages to work from at different price points to maximise my budget. There was no hard or pushy selling, just good old-fashioned honesty and support. We settled on a 20 panel system with a battery and zappi charger as this gave the best overall return as well as would make the most use of the roof space available. The job was planned for the first day back following the Christmas break and the weather was very cold and icy, but that didn't put off the team, they turned up and cracked on with the work, keeping me informed and double checking everything throughout the two days they were here installing it. The process was so smooth and the workmanship is excellent. The wiring is extremely tidy and large parts of it have been hidden either in the cavity or behind other things which means that it is very unobtrusive. Following the installation the team took their time to talk me through the different apps and how they work, and then the office staff gave further backup and support to make sure that it was all set up and working as intended. The experience has been faultless from start to finish and I thoroughly recommend Ecocute Ltd should you be looking for solar installation.

Very efficient, good workmanship and politeness

Back in August 2025, I sought quotes for a 12 panel solar and battery system. I was aware - as an area I knew little about at the time - this was something of a minefield, and once you make an enquiry with many installers, you'll be pestered to death by them until you sign up. Not so with Ecocute. One of 14 quotes I received from 10 different firms. Connor, their guy in the office, dealt with my initial enquiry and subsequent - and sometimes relentless - barrage of questions, concerns and posers after I received their quote with enthusiasm, patience, and concise and clear technical explanations where necessary - and zero pressure! Ecocute quoted me £7890 at that time for a 12-bifacial panel system with an 8kWh AlphaESS battery/hybrid inverter. While they were not aiming to be the cheapest supplier, they nonetheless were, and in some cases by more than £2000 (when compared to a similar system from Octopus, for example). The AlphaESS brand was not one that I had heard of before, but Connor provided me with information about the product/brand and showed photos of recent installs and comparisons with rival kit. It was clear that this was a quality, highly integrated, neat system. The system was installed on the 21st November. I can't fault the installation or system at all, and their fitters (Corey, Scott and Reece) did the work in one day, and were friendly and explained everything well. Robyn got the paperwork sent to me quickly and made sure all the admin was done. An amazing team overall! Excellent prices. Exceptional service. Highly recommended! Thanks guys!

I already have solar and have been contemplating a battery install for some time for excess solar and also use of off peak tariffs. I contacted many potential installers many with the hard sell. Connor was very knowledgeable no hard sell. The prices was competitive and available on eco cute website. The install very quick 2 hrs worked first time early days but all good at the moment

I was unsure of the solution I needed when I first enquired about having an inverter and battery storage installed but Connor and Robyn talked me through the best steps to take with my available budget. We opted for the 5kw Alpha inverter with 2x 4.8kw batteries so we can make use of the energy from overnight tariffs during the daytime ,we have the intention of adding solar panels at a later date once we have saved up a little more. The installers arrived on time, were friendly and worked to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend this company and the Alpha Ess products they supplied.

Ecocute installed a solar battery and inverter - Connor was an incredible help introducing me to the world of solar batteries and deciding on the appropriate system for our current and future needs. During our investigations we looked at numerous suppliers. Whilst price was a main consideration, more than anything we did not want to be constantly harassed with pressure selling techniques. Whilst a large amount of the information in some quotes was simply ‘filling’ and lacking in detail we found the quote from ‘Ecocute’ very comprehensive and well balanced, their projected figures appeared logical and believable. Whilst not the cheapest quote their price was very comparative. What I really appreciated was that the numerous questions I had regarding the quote and subsequent installation were addressed quickly and efficiently with explanations given in easy-to-understand language. The installation and commissioning of the solar panels went brilliantly. The engineers described exactly what they needed to do to, why they needed to do it and how long it would take. Well within the time slot they had given the installation and commissioning was completed with all packaging, offcuts of wire etc cleared and the area left spotlessly clean. I would have no hesitancy in recommending ‘Ecocute’ who provided a first-class customer orientated service from the initial contact all the way through to completion. They were prepared to answer all questions and give full explanations to clarify the numerous points and queries that we had. Moving over to home solar was so simple and transparent with the Team at Ecocute. The quotes we straight forward and easy to understand but still contained enough technical information to make an informed choice. I did call them for more detail and Connor was full of knowledge and experience. The install was seamless. Connor arranged for the additional scaffold due to having a conservatory. The install team arrived and from the start they filled me with confidence by explaining the whole process from start to finish. I have been really happy with the entire experience of using Ecocute for the specification, installation and commissioning of my solar PV and battery system. From initial contact, they were polite, accommodating, with no pressure to sign up, and happy to run through a number of scenarios with me to arrive at a system which would work for me. After paying a modest deposit, I was given a date approximately 6 weeks away. True to their word, they started that week, in fact they called to ask if the roofer could start a day earlier. All of the on site engineers were polite and professional, they worked cleanly and were able to achieve what ended up being quite a complex job on time. I've dealt with the same few individuals throughout, this makes the whole end to end process so much easier. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ecocute, they have been a pleasure to deal with.

I purchased my solar panel system, including battery storage from Ecocute and am very pleased with everything. Ecocute have installed for me 17 solar panels to go with my existing Powerwall 3 and have been patient and the service from the team was exemplary from start to finish. Special mention to Connor and Robyn for keeping me informed all through the process and on install day Corey and Reece for their great work electrically and Scott for installing the panels. All I can say was they were all dedicated to getting a good result and went above and beyond to help me! We have used Ecocute three times now over the last three years, their customer service, knowledge and helpful manner is superb. Our solar installation, the power isolation upgrade and now a new battery system were completed quickly, efficiently and without any hiccups. Today we are completely independent of grid electricity. In the Winter months we can buy electricity at a low rate and store it for use over 18-24 hrs and thanks to Ecocute. We might look at having a few more panels and if we do it will be with ecocute.

There is a lot to consider when investing in Solar panels and battery and Ecocute showed their knowledge and helpfulness right from the beginning. In December 2023 Ecocute installed a full solar set up with roof panels and Solataro 'All in One' system with a 5kw inverter and 10kwh of battery storage. In June 2025 the system hit a milestone of producing 10,000kwh of electricity in total. The result of this system is my monthly bill is now £10 vs £120 before installation and build a surplus over the summer to more than cover increased use over winter. Thank you to Connor / Robyn / Scott and all the team for completing the installation with no cables showing and support/registration of the system.

I had been looking at solar for a few years but the price and time had never been right and I always found solar companies to be very pushy. Ecocute were different, their pricing is transparent and very competitive. Connor was always honest and straight talking. No claiming it was their best price then haggling like some of the national companies. I didn't go with ecocute in the end as another great Yorkshire company offered me a deal on a product ecocute didn't offer. Either way, if you're in the market for solar don't hesitate to get in contact with ecocute, you won't regret it.

The whole experience of using Ecocute was easy from start to finish. They were always on hand to answer any questions when I was deciding which solar panels and battery to buy, whilst waiting for the installation, and after the installation was complete. The whole experience of getting the SEG information for Eon was not simple but Ecocute were there to tell me what to do. On the day of installation the installers were here promptly and worked quickly and efficiently throughout the day. They finished earlier than I had expected them to as they clearly are experts in doing these installations and had done lots before. They left the house clean and tidy and the system up and running after explaining everything I needed to know. The men were polite and could answer any questions I had. We have now had the system for just over a month and the SEG payments from Eon are now being built up. This takes a while and is out of Ecocute's and Eon's control. The system is working far more efficiently than we anticipated and we are definitely benefitting from this glorious spring sunshine. I would highly recommend Ecocute as their product is great and their service excellent.

I'm not one for writing reviews, but on this occasion i found that it is right in doing so, for the service I've received. first i will start by saying that i found Ecocute whilst doing a search for solar panel installers, upon finding Ecocute as well as many others, of which I've spoken to, something extra stood out about Conner. he didn't try to hard sell with a limited price phone call guaranteed price on the panels, at first i will be honest and i did think that it could be another Scam Company. but i was totally wrong, during my call with Conner he explained everything from the delivery of the panels to the full installation, with the remaining balance upon completion. the entire team have been nothing but kind and professional in their job, my wife is so happy ( Happy wife happy life )with the work undertaken. I've now passed on Ecocutes details to family and friends, as we are now planning on having our Battery and EV Charger from Ecocute, The workers where on time as stated, very professional and kept disruption down to a bare minimal, and unlike most contractors, they kept their work space clean and tidy, and even cleaned up after themselves.. i was informed of every aspect of the work they where doing, and what was going to happen next throughout their work. 10/10 for Ecocute for everything you have done, Mr Lettherd

Placed an enquiry for a Solar Installation via the website and was I contacted by Connor for some more information of my property etc, Shortly afterwards i was emailed a very detailed system design inc an idea of the savings vs cost. and a Quote (the price listed on the website) No other contact was made by Connor or the company. Quote accepted Start date & time given. Deposit Paid, Booked in email confirmation. (no other contact Bonus) Day Of install 16th April 2025 The Electricians Corey & Reece Arrived and were very respectful polite and proceded to ask about cable runs location of equipment etc set to work After the installation of the electrical side was completed and a tidy up i was shown and asked if i was happy with the Quality of the internal works.. To which i was. ( I am a Electrical QS & Site Manager so i take some pleasing :) Robyn from the office calls to ensure the teams have arrived :) Scott the Roofer turns up introduces himself and politely explains the process and begins to start work. the 16 years experience speaks volumes as the work was quick and to a high standard. Scott then asks to come inside to commission and set up the Inverter to the internet. then proceed to tidy his tools and work areas. and inform me the office will be in contact. A Phone call from Connor to ensure the work is completed, If i had any issues or questions and to let me know when the electrical cert, part p and MCS paperwork will follow to allow me to benefit from the SEG payments with my supplier. All in all a pleasant experience with no messing no pressure no frills no Drama. Please pass on my thanks to all partys involved with my installation. I can't recommend Ecocute enough for the high-quality service provided throughout every phase of the process, from searching, comparing, financing and installing my solar panels. I got multiple quotes from various competitors, everyone claiming to be the best or one of the best, but some of the quotes, explanations, their reviews and financing plans were just either too complex, or didn't add up at times or just weren't worth it as the ROI period was just too long. From the very first call from Connor from Ecocute, everything was very straightforward, easy to understand and every single question or query throughout the conversations by email or phone were always answered promptly by him. The reviews I had read reassured me as well. Their prices were the most reasonable I had seen. All other competitors suggested having a battery as well for my 2800 KW yearly consumption, and only very few shared that I would need to replace a part of the battery or the whole battery on average every 10 years, which didn't seem worth it to have it. Connor was the only one who showed me that he cared about his customers' needs too and he wasn't just interested in selling me products if he didn't think that it would be worth it. Although he did give me verbally a quote including a battery upon my request, he advised me that I wouldn't need it and after some research, I fully appreciate his honesty in advising me what was best for me and not just looking for profits. With Ecocute, It's the Human Touch, above Financial Gains! That is a very rare quality of any Business! Furthermore, Connor advised me on how to finance my solar system, with a credit card at 0% as I explained that I didn't want a loan with interest for religious reasons. I often went back with multiple questions to understand the whole process and he always replied kindly and patiently, always with a smile on the phone. He went above and beyond in every interaction and helped more than he should have as a professional. Moreover, as I wanted to add more panels to increase my energy generation, and we planned that I would pay for 2 additional panels, at the last minute, Connor offered better and bigger, Bifacial all Black 450kw instead of 430 panels that were initially quoted at no extra cost which enabled me to get more energy without paying more. His 3 colleagues who installed the panels and the electrics were also very good professionals, did a great job with a smile, arrived very early. Wonderful experience and service overall! Highly recommend ecocute. We first used them in 2022 for solar panels and I was impressed with them then. No pushy sales pitch, really helpful and knowledgeable staff who were quick to respond to any queries. Recently had contact with them again to install a car charger and a battery. Found I was dealing with all the same people as I had done three years ago and the same electrician. Very impressed with the team installing the products and the support from the office. Competitively priced too.
