I was very impressed with Finn Geotherm in their installation of my ashp. From the start, I found all the people I spoke to at Finn Geotherm really helpful and professional - I was never talked down to or blinded by ashp-technical-speak. I know of a few friends who have gone this route of having retro heat pumps fitted and there is not one of them that reports a good experience. The Finn Geotherm people working at my house were all really friendly and polite, respecting that they were in my home. They were confident and knowledgeable in the work they were doing. I was kept informed all the while and they showed great attention to detail, including sending me all the documentation I might ever need, properly recorded and stored. My house now is warm all over and unlike the previous electric boiler, I can afford to run the heating. I am so relieved with this result.

Even though Finn Geotherm did not install my air source heat pump/boiler system I called them when I had a fault & they took it on and I have received an excellent service every time. Very professional company.

Highly recommend! I recently moved into my new build property that has an air source heating system. From the minute I moved in the heating wouldn’t work and kept cutting out. The developer didn’t have a clue how it worked and the installers were not interested at all, so being completely stuck I called Panasonic who gave me Finn Geotherm’s number. From start to finish they have been so professional and knowledgeable. It can’t be easy taking over someone else’s installation, but they found the problem, rectified it and it’s now running perfectly. Thank you again.

My father in law had a system installed by this company that cost almost £30k some years ago. The past few years have been marred with problems. This company has shown no interest in rectifying leaving my father in law without a heating system. From the start the electricity bills have been eye watering, completely unfit for purpose.

Having just bought a new house, we were conscious that the boiler, although working and serviced every year, could fail anytime. We were also running low on heating oil, so had to make a decision on whether to keep going with the current oil fired boiler and purchase more oil, with the risk that the boiler could potentially die any day, or consider alternatives. Having considered an Air Source Heat Pump and been referred to Finn Geotherm by another company, we absolutely have no regrets over our decision to go with them. Firstly, fantastic comms with Jude who was professional, on time and explained everything when surveying the house. Jude provided a thorough report and at no time did I even think that I was being upsold. Pleasingly, there were no radiator upgrades needed and, in fact, as the house was so well insulated, they reduced the size of the heat pump, saving me money! So trustful for sure. We were very fortunate to have a cancellation, bringing the installation forward by about six weeks. We had daily texts from the team to let us know they were on their way, which was reassuring. Geoff and his colleagues were brilliant. Yes, there was quite a lot of disruption, with carpets needing to be lifted and floor boards cut, which initially was concerning, but when all was done the house was left in such a good condition. My wife was impressed, which says a lot! If anyone said to me, who would you recommend to install an ASHP, I would 100% say Finn Geotherm. Every part of our experience was top notch. I did also look at alternatives, including from our electricity supplier, but their quotes were nowhere near competitive. So we saved money, had a fantastic experience and ow have a lovely, cosy warm home which is costing us about £2 per day to heat. What more could we ask for. Thank you to the whole team. From initial survey to installation and annual servicing the team continues to show excellent professionalism and friendliness at every encounter. When we contacted Finn Geotherm we were immediately impressed with their friendly service and efficiency, with an initial estimate produced over the phone, followed by an onsite survey. All our questions were thoroughly and promptly answered and the whole process was completed in less than 2 months. All of the admin, grant applications, permissions and certifications, were done for us and we were kept informed of each step by phone and email throughout. The installation team were very personable and equally efficient, worked tidily, keeping us informed of progress at each stage of their work. We are really pleased with the service and professionalism. Also our ASHP is working so smoothly, running our underfloor heating together with lots of hot water. Highly recommended

We were delighted with the way the installation of our ground source heat pump went. The groundworks team and the pump installation team have been so friendly and courteous and a pleasure to have on site. They have been extremely professional and efficient throughout and filled us with confidence in their work and in Finn Geotherm generally. We were particularly grateful for the care they took over some tricky manoeuvres to avoid damage to our existing fittings when removing our old boiler and tanks. Thus far (one week in) we are delighted with the outcome - the flow rate and temperature of the domestic hot water and the effectiveness of the heating are all we could have hoped for. Update 13 Jan 2024 ... Now almost 2 years since the installation and we remain super thrilled with the heat pump. The house (a barn conversion) used to be chilly in winter but is now exceptionally warm and comfortable. Furthermore, we cannot speak too highly of Finn Geotherm's continuing customer care: this has been outstanding.

I had a heat pump fitted on Thursday, I think its important to add that we had torrential rain and were at risk of flooding so I wasn't sure that the install would even happen. I had no need to worry the team arrived at 0730 and reassured me that the job would be done. At 0830 I found out that I was going to be working from home and hosting Teams meetings, once again panic set in as I didn't know if I would have electricity. Jonathan asked me what time the meetings were and told me that they could turn the electric off after the meetings. Andy Geoff and Jonathan were polite throughout the entire install and worked even harder with a good supply of biscuits and coffee. Everything was completed within 2 days and my home was left clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Our installation was not very straightforward, but Finn Geotherm were extremely helpful throughout and patient with us while we sorted other issues out. We are delighted with the heat pumps, the house is cosy and warm even in the coldest conditions (-6 overnight!) and we are using much less energy than we were with our gas boiler. It is great to feel that our carbon footprint is much reduced. Both the office staff and installation team were brilliant, always happy to answer questions and very responsive. The installation is very neat and tidy, the pipework is a work of art!

From our first discussion about the installation through the detailed preparation and on to the actual installation Finn Geotherm couldn't have been more helpful. For us it was a big decision to invest in an air source heat pump, however, Finn Geotherm explained all the options open to us, and then allowed us to make up our minds in our own time; they also made the application for the BUS grant on our behalf. The quotation pack we received was very comprehensive indeed, and also explained in detail what works would be done and how. Having gone through the pack I had a few questions, but the office staff answered all in depth. The installation team were polite, respectful of our home, and would answer any question I had. The work was completed, and up and running in three days, with a half a day commissioning to double check everything. After a week or so, a minor issue showed itself, but having contacting them an engineer payed us a visit and quickly sorted the problem - that was six weeks ago, and it's been running perfectly since. In short I have no hesitation in recommending Finn Geotherm. Our home has felt much cosier since the heat pump has been installed! Well done and thank you.

We are really impressed with this firm. We discovered them in a long list of accredited air-source heat pump installers, on a renewable heat incentive grant website. I contacted 5 or 6 companies a couple of months before the pandemic. Finn Geotherm responded quickly, gave a good assessment of our needs, costs, etc. Despite me delaying when the pandemic hit, they kept in touch without hounding us until I was ready to commit. We booked the installation for January. Having made plans to cope with the winter upheaval (with two young children), we were concerned about delays or work overruns. However, the team arrived as scheduled and finished on time too. The work was of a high standard, well organised and surprisingly clean and tidy. Great support before and after installation. More importantly, we had a wonderfully warm house through the worst of the subsequent weather and we have reduced our carbon footprint. Excellent!

Whoever was driving your company van G5 HFF on the 2nd march has just gone racing through thetford taking on the on coming traffic and then forced me almost off the road to pull back in!

Great sales Nice Installation engineers who came to install the system very helpful & willing, With a few teething problems which needed adjustments (to be expected) Sadly the main Heat Pump failed after 130 days not that cold outside either, no heating no hot water, the main pump insdie the outside unit had failed (bearing), not a part they hold in stock , plus they clam the warranted is with the manufacture ,(this is wrong) due to this they can only act on manufacturer instructions, no pumps are held in the UK, (I wonder why, are they failing) these have to come from Europe, taking a week to ten days min, they have to come back & fit it, yet more time off work, I did ask before placing the order do they hold parts in stock, "YES" of course" was the reply, A week so far no heating, what do you think it is going to be a month before they sort it out, I have just found out I can get a new complete unit next day? This is shockingly bad service well no service really. No management to talk to, I had to click on one star Starr to be able to post this, on here, other wise no service no Starr !! This story gos on, Update, The system ad not ben installed correctly, Geotherm had not install the equipment to Planning regulations, they were made to return by the NICEIC and install correctly, So the system has gone wrong yet again, we have water coming through the ceiling, They blamed us and wanted £250.00 to come out and inspect, that would take a few days. the their new water tank in the loft had cracked, and still within warranty, The tank had been leaking for a long time s the chip boarding under the tank had degraded, We called Panasonic the manufacture for help, who got an engineer out in a few hours to inspect the problem, The engineers declared the system had not been installed as per Panasonic's manufactures instructions and guidelines. also declaring it was unsafe/dangerous to use shutting the whole system down. So much for the NICEIC inspection. We have now had yet another firm in to remove the split tank in the loft, correct the faults, and remove the undersize cables put in by Finn Geotherm which were a fire risk due to overloading. The signal cable had been bridged inside the main unit linking the two input together thus doubling the load on to just one cable. They failed to fil the correct trip in our fuse board and sent in the post a replacement trip which was the wrong make that would not fit, I still have the trip they sent in it's bag. All firms can have problems, all firm's make errors etc, what is important is how they deal with them and how they put them right, At every stage it was always our fault and we would have to pay, them we would provide evidence to prove it was not our fault, they we called the NICEIC . Geotherm even tried to say we where not their customer to get out of doing the correction work,. I has cost us thousands of pounds to have another firm in and replace the tank and correct the faults on the system making it safe to use. I am glad we called Panasonic in and switched to another company. My wife is a district Nurse , Finn Geotherm were happy to leave us without hot water & heating at the time Covid was rampant, My wife had to wash on her return home in hot water & water all her dress in very hot water to stop spreading covid , when we pointed this out to Finn Geotherm they could not care less. What a wonderful company.

From the first phone call to the last, I can't fault Finn Geotherm. The office staff were amazing and nothing seemed too much trouble, no matter how many questions I asked. They always got back to me promptly with any information I was after. The survey was undertaken promptly and was very informative and well detailed. A great pack was sent shortly afterwards and was very helpful. I had a 14kw electric boiler and replaced it for the air source. I am already feeling the benefits from it. When I was told the unit would be quiet, it was still a pleasant surprise to realise they weren't joking! I had a heating engineer called Jeff to do the installation and again no matter how many questions I had, it wasn't a problem. He gave me the time to explain how it was all going to be installed and operated. I'm very pleased with the work undertaken and the installation was perfect. Very clean and tidy workmanship! The service I received was above and beyond.

Finn Geotherm installed our air source heat pump, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional and efficient. They went to great lengths to ensure that everything was done to the highest standard. At one point, they decided the electricity cable could be better located, to make it as unobtrusive as possible, so went out of their way to reroute it. The office staff are equally helpful and friendly, and their advice has been invaluable in helping us gain our RHI payments.

Absolutely a fantastic company!! From start to finish very professional, always there to help and give advice. The people are all very lovely and friendly. The team are like a family! Great products, I love my air source heat pump. I also like the fact that I'm doing my bit for the environment and for myself as I will save money. Finally gave up waiting for the quotation 2 1/2 months after getting an estimate. We were ready to sign but they seemed completely disinterested. Went with another supplier.

From the first phone call where they fitted us in with an immediate appointment to the day they left site, we can't praise this company enough. You would have to go a long way to find a more knowledgeable, helpful and friendly bunch of people. Nothing was every too much trouble. Our installation was carried out exactly as and when they said it would be and great care was taken by all to ensure we were happy every step of the way.
