Bought 2 underfloor heating mats and thermostats 8 years ago and I've been so impressed with them that I'm just about to buy another for another room (I've finally got around to renovating it). Fast delivery, unbelievably simple to install, great quality and keep our north-facing kitchen and dining rooms toasty warm under foot in a couple of minutes - kicking out an impressive amount of heat for a fraction of the cost of our central heating!!!! Have used Rayotec products in three areas. Have now had an issue with a mat under carpeting , issue was parquet floor under carpet buckled due to heat from ufh and raised carpet by two inches , been in house for 40 plus years , no issues previously with the floor ,They'd said twice b4 install that it was ok to and that they'd install on existing parquet. Now find comments on line saying Dont install on parquet !!!. We had to get carpet fitter to lift and resolve buckled wood floor , cost £70.00 , hadn't noticed heating didn't work any more . The mat was replaced. We Had to lift carpet, empty room , disconnect TV and hi fi etc. for new ufh mat. Then had to get carpet properly refitted ,another £60.00.. So , out of pocket by £130.00 Plus had to empty room for new mat. Not fun at 75 years old.. Anyway, despite an offer received to contribute £100.00 towards carpet fitters costs and giving bank details etc..Nothing received and calls not returned..

Excellent installation from start to finish. I had electric underfloor heating installed in my living room by Rayotec and all I can say is that I am considering having it in other rooms too. James has been incredibly helpful at all times. He explained the process and how everything works. He was very accommodating and flexible with timings as everything happened during summertime and with holidays and all he was able to move things around and set up my underfloor heating almost immediately, for which I am super grateful. The electrician Lewis was a superstar as well, not only did he set up the underfloor heating but he sorted a couple of minor things that were left in a mess from the previous person. In terms of cost, I think considering the excellent quality the price was more than fair and certainly better than having water-based system. Needless to say the room with the underfloor heating is the favourite in the house. Thank you James and everyone at Rayotec for the super efficient and smooth service. For anyone on the fence and thinking your house is too old, it's not, do it, it's the most uniform warm you'll feel in a room, and definitely worth it.

As it was my first time I over ordered my underfloor heating without realising it couldn’t be cut to size but the refund process was nice and easy dawn in finance was great processing my refund and made sure it went through without a hitch. I will definitely be using RAYOTEC again not just because of quality of product but because of the team behind it

I bought a 7m2 underfloor heating mat with 10mm insulation and a wi-fi enabled thermostat. Faris, was extremely helpful and amended the original quote as my floor sizes changed due to kitchen cupboard placement. The price was competitive and delivery was free and overnight. Clear instructions are included and Faris sent videos to clarify installation onto a screeded floor. Installation took one day and I screeded over on following day. I had a qualified electrician check installation and connections to mains as specified by warranty, which runs for 30 years. In short (no pun intended) I would recommend Rayotec to anyone and will be buying from them again when I refurb our bathroom

I used an elite cable system in my recent bathroom refurbishment and it was such an easy process. The unexpected bonus was that the thermostat appeared in my Smart Life app (where i controll all my wifi plugs) so I vcan now control the bathroom floor as and when I need it. So impressed was I with the setup that I will now be installing a second system in my shower room refurb. Can't recomend the syetm highly enough

This company was maintaining our solar system, and I’ve updated my review from 1 star to 5 stars based on their excellent customer service. Some of the earlier issues were due to miscommunication from our estate management company, so it was only fair to revise the rating. The team has been very responsive and diligent in addressing our concerns, and they’re now looking into things further. While their maintenance/service/remedial costs are on the high side, Vs other companies the quality of their service and response to the ongoing thread have been good. Mina, in particular, has been outstanding — she took the time to clarify our questions around the work carried out, invoices, and ongoing maintenance etc

Rayotec have been brilliant, this is the 2nd year that they have carried out the commercial maintenance for the solar panels at Horlicks Quarter and I'll definitely be contracting them for next year. I contacted Rayotec to carry out the underfloor heating on my daughter's extension. They responded quickly and provided a quotation and gave me advice regarding the installation and laying of engineered wood floor above the heating. The work was carried out on the date and time they agreed to be on site and before leaving they did a dead test on the system. All in all we were delighted with their service which was neat and tidy and efficiently installed and ready for final connection by our own electrician.

Rayotec installed some solar tubes for me over 13 years ago. I bought the German made sticky back 9sqm mat. The sticky was good although I used the odd bit of spray adheive on the edges. The floor layers were very impressed when they put the first thin layer of levelling compound over it as none of it lifted / floated, and said they wished all contractors would use decent makes. Overlayed with 10mm Makai 3240 renovation laytex and then lvt flooring. Customer very pleased with the outcome. We fitted the basic controller as did not want any complicated setting for an elderly couple to use!

Hi Stephen My situation is perhaps a little odd. I have a wet ufh system downstairs fed by an air source heat pump which seems to have bern poorly installed. Coupled with the location of the room at the back of my house which receives little natural light and therefore heat, my dining room is cold. I have run your dry ufh system and it works well. It is expensive. I hope the electric system does not impede by wet system which can bring 17° C. But I'm confident. Thank you Gerard Marshall

Rang them and spoke to David who was very helpful and after trying some of his suggestions it was obvious the inverter had packed up. He sent an engineer out who installed a new one in less than half an hour. Now works perfectly thank you.

Contacted Rayotec as Solar Panels had stopped working. They identified the problem and an engineer called soon after to replace the faulty Inverter. Very efficiently handled and fully recommend them and the service they provide.

I chose Rayotec Sticky mat kits for my home heating project as they are well made, straightforward to install and have a good power specification. I felt well supported by Stephen at all stages from order to installation and I am pleased with how the mats are now performing.

The service I eceived from Rayotec, replacing the inverter for my PV panels was excellent. All the e-mail correspondance was promptly dealt with and clear. The prior inspection and installation of the new inverter wre both carried out cheerfully and most competently by the engineer. Absolutely no complaints, everything was done in exemplary fashion.

I first contacted this company when a less reputable company told me that my solar water panel system needed upgrading under new legislation. Rayotec replied promptly and advised that as far as they were aware there was no such legislation. Some months later the system seemed to be losing pressure and I realised it wasn’t cost effective. When the technician came to service the system I asked if he would decommission it. He did the work efficiently and explained that it could be reinstated quite easily in the future if required . Thank you for very good advice and prompt and timely service.

Rayotec are commendably quick to send an engineer to fix my solar hot-water system when it malfunctions, which is usually due to component failure, particularly the Grundvoss pumps The last engineer was honest in his assessment that the savings my system makes in gas to heat the water will not pay for the servicing at 4 year intervals and the replacement glycol, let alone the parts. What you have is a 'lifestyle choice' he said. True, and 5 stars for saying so.

Easy to understand site with videos. Good price and next day delivery. The kit was easy to install and works well. It is not apparent that the underfloor insulation is available until you have decided on the kit, and 10mm boards may have been better, but not offered. The WiFi was a bit tricky to set up but very easy when working. I did keep accidentally touching the Child Lock icon which made me think that there was a fault. Ok now that I realise. Good kit, great service, highly recommended.

I got the 9m2 self-adhesive electric underfloor heating kit, and it worked very well. The self-adhesive backing worked well compared with a non-sticky one that I've used in the past. The mat surface seemed robust while laying laminate flooring over the top of it, connection was simple (once the work to add an FCU had been done) and it works really well, nice and warm through 12mm laminate. I had a minor query about delivery which was resolved very quickly and helpfully by customer services.

Another great product purchase from Rayotec. The electric underfloor heating mat is very easy to install, and provides a quick and even warmth to our floor. This is the fourth time we've bought from them, and will be doing so again.

I bought this with little knowledge of underfloor heating systems. The instructions were simple to understand, the flooring easy to install and leaves a large floor area and room nicely warmed in just a few mins. Would gladly recommend. With the cost of heating it is a little pricey to use regularly, however, worth it for how the floor feels under your feet.

I used the supplied depron sheets under the non self adhesive cable. Great fast service and easy install. Ended up laying a 2mm thick foam underlay around the perimeter of the heating cables to get a more even level before adding the laminate. This was definitely necessary and it would have been nice if this product was suggested at the outset. It could also be supplied as an option. Wireless control is brilliant for a garden room so we can check the room temperature and heat it up before venturing out

I do not often give reviews, but in this case I will make an exception! I contacted Rayotec because I have a problem with pigeons nesting under the solar panels I also explained my system is quite old and has never had any work on it since installation. The response from Rayotec was very prompt explaining that they do not provide protection against pigeons but how to do a search on line to get a reputable company for this task (NOT PROMOTING ANY PATICULAR COMPANY) they also advised that if my panels are generating ok leave well alone, but to keep an eye on the system after the pigeon problem has been sorted and if any problem appears contact them then. It is such a surprize and delight in this day and age to get advise from a company without them trying to sell any unnecessary products or work, and this service delivered promptly and with no charge. Engineer spent 2 minutes with me, said the system was too high to look at and that the whole system needed replacing. He then said “you wont like it “but this 2 minutes will cost you £240!” Absolute rip off!

The process from start to finish was professional, friendly, informative and all my questions were answered in a way I could fully comprehend and backed up with any data sheets required. A simple floorplan initiated a highly competitive quotation, which was the price we paid. Rayotec helped us with the information required to liaise with the flooring company who would lay the wooden laminate floor on top of the UEH mat. E-mails are answered speedily and with all the information requested. The Rayotec installation teams arrived punctually on the dates agreed. Our home was left clean and tidy once the work was completed. Instructions were given on the day on how to operate the control system and links forwarded afterwards so we had something to refer to should it be needed. The whole Rayotec UEH system works like a dream. UEH is one of the best items we have installed in our recent home refurbishment. We are now going to install UEH in two further rooms and will be using Rayotec every time. They are just a brilliant company. Sadly, I do not have any images of the heating mat, but have included some of the flooring once completed and the control system.

Rayotec installed our solar system in 2011 swiftly and efficiently. It was a pleasure to do business. The company gave us excellent advice when our inverter was faulty and when it had to be replaced this year (2022 ). Most impressive was that within 30 seconds the engineer at 1600hours on a Friday found our old records, guided and advised us through to a subsequent replacement of parts. This gave us total trust in this company. On our recommendation friends have since dealt with Rayotec, it’s a shame but fully understandable that the company no longer instals. Rayotec were helpful in every respect. The system is installed, but we have not had to call on it as yet.

We used the Rayotec Webtech Elite Underfloor heating mat for our conservatory. The stick mat system is great, very simple to lay and it stayed stuck whilst we added the self-levelling compound. Everything worked very well from the first moment I was in touch with Rayotec regarding electric underfloor heating. Even though I was outside the returns date he accepted my genuine mistake immediately, accepted to ship out next day the replacement mat so I could get on with the job. Rayotec underfloor heating- excellent service and good instructions provided for DIY , reliable quality of materials . The free touch screen control was the only exception- fitting this in a 40mm box was very fiddly and the controls are not easy unless you want automatic.

We got the smart thermostat, which was ~40 pounds on top of the mat.. works with alexa and is really easy to set up a schedule. Fitter had the mat down in minutes. Happy I found this company whilst researching. In short, it’s cheaper but same/ higher quality than your tile-shop brands, and comes with a more reasonably sized/ better value thermostat.

We had a problem with our solar panels fitted by another company,no longer trading. After a phone consultation the engineer called. He checked the system and recommended replacing the invert which was done within an hour. Very satisfied with their work and would recommend them.

Fantastic service - problem solved I was so fortunate to find Rayotec. After an awful experience with our initial PV installation by Bright Spark Energy we found out that only 5 of our 7 PV panels were working (Bright Spark knew this from Sep-2020 but didn't tell us). Dave from Rayotec visited twice: once to diagnose the problem and a second time to fix it. The second visit required a lot of liaison and coordination which was done very efficient and effectively. It was a pleasure dealing Rayotec and the relief at having our full system working (probably for the first time ever) after three years is huge. Thank you Rayotec.

I have never fitted underfloor electric heating before but it proved to be very straightforward. Rayotec supplied the goods quickly and it took under half a day to lay the insulation and the heating mat. Easy to test the circuit if you have a multimeter and the laminate floor lay nice and flat on top. Good stuff!

My solar panel meter stopped working. I contacted Rayotec (a company I have used previously to service the system) and a very helpful member of staff (Parmi) arranged for an engineer to attend on a call out. The engineer was scheduled to attend on Monday but contacted me direct the previous Friday, being in the area, and replaced the faulty meter. It now seems to be operating effectively. Many thanks for the prompt and efficient service.

I purchased 2 underfloor heating kits from Rayotec recently, 1 at 5sqm for the kitchen and the other at 15sqm for the dining area. Before placing my order online I contacted them by phone to clarify a couple of points and found the the people I dealt with very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. My kits arrived within 48 hours of placing the order. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow and I particularly like the Depron insulation tiles, much easier to work with than a large roll of the stuff. The heat mats were easy to lay and, despite being only 2mm think, they are really good quality. I laid laminate floor throughout the whole area on top of the heat mats, wired up the thermostats, which are very clear and easy to use (good instructions again) and I could feel the floors warming up within 5. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Great value for money, good quality product, easy to fit and great service from Stephen Draper and the rest of the team at Rayotec. I would definitely recommend and would not hesitate in using them again on another project.

Second time using Rayotec for my home, brilliant kits and easy installation for both mat style and loose cable systems! Fitted in our new kitchen and it works wonders, no more cold feet. Customer service is always great too if you need anything out of the ordinary.

Excellent product and service. Purchased the sticky backed mat which wasn't the easiest to lay as the room wasn't square but had awkward corners and a kitchen island. Should have gone for the loose wire to get in and out of the tight corners more easily. This however was my miscalculation not Rayotec. First time laying underfloor heating, the system from Rayotec comes with very good instructions which made it much easier to to lay. My electrician took a very short time to connect and it’s working brilliantly. If I replace flooring in any other rooms I will definitely fit the underfloor heating system before laying the new flooring. Great product and completely changes the feel of the room. Recommended.

The advice we received was excellent and the installation went well except for a hiccup with a part. Suppliers fault not our installers. We purchased a property with solar panels installed by this company. We contacted them as we had issues with our hot water systems as the property had been vacant for over 6 months. I was told the system in the house heats hot water but is due a service. Having no understanding of the system or solar systems we agreed. I took a days leave engineer arrived and stated ‘I remember this install the gaps to tight in the Eve’s I can’t do the job out weekend guy who’s smaller needs to do it’ 5 minutes on site!!!! Another engineer came a week or so later at £600 charge plus 2 days holiday lost .. Months later I find so paperwork that the system has monitoring equipment. Call rayotech they inform me I have 2 systems and need another call out to fix the monitoring system and check the panels. Engineers turns up 5 minutes informs me a cable between the two battery’s is unplugged and the monitoring system cannot be set up by him and I need to contact Solax the system manufacturer. Another days holiday and a £240 call out. This company takes advantage of people!

The engineer has good experience with the vacuum tube solar heating to our system. It is serviced well and we are kept informed of potential issues. The office support is always good, scheduling and information.

I didn't end up using this firm because they don't service my area easily but I was impressed with the customer service over the phone given by their Customer Service & Sales Administrator Parmi Bains. Very efficient, customer focused and did what she could to help.

We bought our panels from Rayotec about 10 years ago. Excellent quality, like the M and S or John Lewis of solar companies! Don't go elsewhere and buy cheap rubbish.

This is the second underfloor heating system I have purchased. The first wasn’t Rayotec and it failed after six months, I won’t be making that mistake again. I was unsure of exactly which system was best for me, but customer Services were brilliant and sorted the right mat for me. As soon as the Rayotec system arrived (a day earlier than expected) I could immediately see that it was of a far superior quality than the mat I purchased before. I am just installing my second Rayotec underfloor heating system and wouldn’t recommend any other.

Have used Rayotec electric underfloor heating several times now, I have never experienced a problem with the delivery timing or the parts supplied. There are only 2 difficult steps in the process which are down to you personally which are ordering the correct size of the electric mat for your room and the pattern that you lay it to ensure you get the correct floor coverage. For the first Rayotec has a good explanation on their website on how much you should order for your room so you only need to get the sq/m correct and then use Rayotec guideline for the % of the room you should cover but remember do not put the heatng in areas under furniture as this would be a waste of money in both buying the materials and the heating of the room. The second is covered by the online video and also the instructions provided. I usually purchase the sticky version so that it does not move when laying the floor material on top and i tend to lay it out first before removing the backing from the mat to make sure its in the position I want it. I would recommend this product from Rayotec to anyone who asked. I am not a professional, I am a DIYer but have had not problems with installing but always get the electrical installed or checked by a professional.

All the information regarding the installation was available and was extremely helpful when choosing the right installation for under carpet. The materials arrived very quickly and were of good quality. I fitted it myself without any problems and it is working very efficiently. It’s simple to install just plan ahead and think about where you want your electrical controllers/ thermostats - the sticky mat helps massively to keep the mat in place, have installed with on a solid floor under amtico and under a wood floor so be aware of the differences when installing, now the weather is turning it’s really paying dividends The family love it highly recommended

This was a very easy product to order and install. I purchased the 9m2 undercarpet heating mat kit. All in place now under our new carpet and it's working a treat. Their website was easy to use and delivery was next day.

As I have not actually connected the underfloor heating I can't really say how good it is but let me say this the materials and customer service I received was fantastic. I had a few queries and they aswenwerd them straight away also my order was dispatch the same day and received the very next day which was brilliant. The engineer was very competent and helpful, identified problems within our distribution system as well as checking our solar array.

I have removed three radiators in three bedrooms and replaced them with three underfloor heating. So far all three underfloor heating are working fine. The instructions to set up those were clear. I would just add in the instructions:- the addition of a FCU(fused connection unit) should be in the manual as mandatory for safety reasons. Nevertheless, very good material and easy to install. Rayotec is very quick to delivery. And also responsive on the phone. I had a technical issue to do with meassureing the probe resistance, the pamphlet with the sensor was wrong but the Rayotec information was correct. I got hold of someone quickly that sorted it out. I found the installation easy, like laying a sticky carpet on a special underlay, a little electrical ability is needed to measure resistance of items. The warmth is steady and controllable with the thermostat provided. Far better than a oil fire radiator.

I chose Rayotec over other manufacturers because their flooring mat offers 150W of power than their competitors which limit the power to 140W. The package arrived nice and promptly and was well packaged and not damaged. The wires of this are nice and thick and heat up well. The mat itself is very thin which was good and the cold tail nice and long. Very easy installation. I ordered the wifi Freedom controller which also offered discreet and easy installation. One slight issue with this is that it is not clear how to set the floor temp at 27 degrees whilst also using the air temp sensor. It was installed in summer so quite hard to test aml features when it’s hot outside. All in all a great company to deal with.

We have many years of experience of Rayotec who installed our solar water heating panels and solar generating panels and battery. The firm has been outstanding in everything they have done for us. Yesterday we made rang them to enquire about the use of a Smart meter, which our elecricity supplier is pushing. We received comprehensive and very helpful advice from Perry Viner who also, at our request, told us about another firm who do solar panels as, very sadly, Rayotec no longer install them as we were thinking of increasing our number. Rayotec are happily going to do our maintenance for us. A truly professional company who we would recommend absolutely to anyone.

I called Rayotec to remove 2 1980’s Thermo solar panels. After recently moving into our new home, these panels were completely redundant. I spoke to Perry Viner at Rayotec. This company seemed to be the only people who would be willing to remove and dispose of these ancient solar panels. Perry was extremely helpful and provided excellent advise throughout. Karl and his assistant removed and tiled the roof within around 4 hours. They explained what they were doing and more than happy to answer questions I had. I couldn't recommend this company more. Thank you Perry and Karl for getting these redundant and ugly panels off my roof.

My Solar panel system developed an intermittent fault, which other companies had tried to fix, but failed. I contacted Rayotec Ltd. The initially had problems d9iagnosing the fault, but persisted and was able to identify the failing component and replace it. The system is now up and running normally. During this time the people involved where polite and did every thing they could to assist me in resolving my problem. I would have no problem in recommending this compan7y.

We had our annual inspection of the solar installation and it was found that one of the converters had failed. Rayotec checked that it was still under warranty and then arranged to get a replacement sent to site, installed and then had the faulty unit returned to the supplier. I have decided to post this review because I have been totally impressed with the service I have received from Rayotec following a problem with my Solar PV system. I made a call to Rayotec when my Inverter appeared to go wrong! I gave the details about the problem displayed to a very helpful lady called Mina she was unsure of what the problem was and called me back once she had spoken with one of their engineers. They gave precise advice on what the problem might be and we were able to get it fixed without the need for a call out from them, many companies would have taken the chance to make a call out and charge of ££££'s but they gave sound advice and clearly know what they are talking about. I am sure that due to my system being 10 years old now, I will need to make a call to them in the future and I have no hesitation in doing so, in fact its quite a relief to have a company that i'm sure I can trust (so many terrible companies out there giving wrong advice and charging huge amounts to do so !!!)

Excellent service as always having had both Solar Thermal and Solar PV panels fitted by Rayotec many years ago. Our 9 year old inverter ceased working, the company were contacted last Friday and a new, more efficient modern inverter was fitted this afternoon (Tuesday). This says a great deal about their customer care especially in these trying times. Their engineer was both friendly and professional, completing the replacement in well under 2 hours, leaving us with a system showing healthy charging in the sunshine. One could ask for nothing more.

I needed to get my solar system sorted and Rayotec were so unhelpful it was painful. Emails never answered and call backs promised but never done. Escalated things to the management and Reza came across as very stuck up and refused to help as it was not a rayotec installation. Avoid at all costs

I wanted our 5 year old solar thermal system serviced. Rayotec inspected it for £213 and reported it faulty due incorrect installation. Quote received for £1320 of remedial work. I challenged this but no reply was received. Contacted the original developer /installer and second inspection made. System serviced and topped up, 45 mins work £75.

Please beware with their Solar department as you can end up spending a lot of money for nothing. I am being asked to pay £210 for a 20 minutes inspection although the reason they could not carry out the full service of the solar thermal heater was the model of the heater we had. If the model is this critical to a booked full service, why didn't the person who I booked the service with mention this and asked me to confirm the heater make/model before booking the full service? Also beware that their T&Cs are not at all customer friendly - they are basically all to do with the company making the highest profit at any cost. When I complained, I expected them to deal with it with reason as mine was not a full service nor a call out but instead I was given the same explanation every time and infact they said even if the engineer had left because he could not carry the full service, they would have still asked me to pay £210. So please be extra careful. Their reviews on which may be biased too as the person I spoke felt very confident that my review I have written to which.co.uk will not be published as they will definitely side with the company. Anyways companies like this should be reported and reviewed. Never again will I contact them for anything after such a horrible customer service.

I am mightily grateful and impressed with Rayotec. I appeared to have a problem with my PV Solar. Love the WiFi Controlled thermostat, so much easier than adjusting an awkwardly placed controller. When an old thermostat from another supplier failed I knew where to go for a replacement. Easy appointment system with a friendly engineer arriving on time and suitably briefed about our issue. The engineer, David I believe, and his assistant/apprentice were happy to access our rather cluttered loft area to tackle the problem of patchy generation. Once established that our inverter - as suspected - was at fault, they consulted their office to check that the spare carried in their van was compatible and connected this new inverter to our system which now works perfectly. Very satisfied.

The man who came, Paul, was very helpful and fixed the leak, which was what was most bothering me. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day so he was not able to ascertain whether or not the system was working. We think it is not. He outlined what needed to be done if it is not and said he would send us an estimate of the cost. Hope to get that.

DO NOT BUY WIFI THERMOSTAT FOR U/F HEATING (not Neo) I purchased three room kits with the wifi thermostats that didnt need a hub connected to the router. The room stats are cheap rubbish, all three would not calibrate to the room real temperature or if they could, there was no way of finding out how from the rubbish instructions, two of them initially connected to the wifi then simply stopped working, one never connected at all. One room was subsequently boiling as the room stat thought it was 14 degrees, another needed to be set to 25 to work at all. Rayotec response - from the guy who wrote the instructions, after multiple emails and calls was 'send them back to get them replaced' with three more that wont work!

Absolutely outstanding customer service from Stephen, found myself in a bit of a jam due to personal reasons and needed an exchange, Stephen went above and beyond to help me get sorted. Also the equipment along with customer service is second to none, once again thanks so much for your help and support through a personal troubled time - 5*.

We contacted Rayotec when our solar water panels stopped providing us with hot water. My point of contact at the office was with Mr Viner, a very helpful and polite gentleman who asked me numerous questions regarding my solar to try and diagnose if a fault was present. My solar was in dire need of new glycol as the last service was completed over 6 years ago, we were never told about the up-keep of the system. We contacted Rayotec following a tube in our Solar Thermal hot water system being damaged by a third party. We live in Bucks and Perry Viner from Rayotec explained that he doubted their quote would be competitive due to the travelling distance for their team . He still showed concern and clearly explained what work needed to be done. Not only did he then send us a link to the MCS website, to enable us to find a more local company to do the work but answered further emailed questions that we had. Contacted Rayotec to assist with my Solar PV issue. Original thought was the inverter and having discussed everything with the company the engineer (Dave) visited me and discovered that the problem stemmed from one of the panels. The engineer carried out the tests needed and isolated the offending panel, leaving me with a working system. If I am able to find a replacement panel then Rayotec will fit it for me. Bearing in mind the particular panel is no longer manufactured the engineer gave me all his expert advise for the options to move forward. There was no issue with him returning the new inverter back to base and refunding me the cost difference from the deposit already paid up front. Everything was done in an efficient and friendly way and good communication with Perry and his team throughout either by email or telephone. When the inverter does inevitably fail, as they do not last for ever, I shall be happy to use the services of Rayotec Ltd. in summary: A very helpful and friendly team to deal with.

It’s refreshing talking to people who really care about what they do. I have been receiving cold calls from “companies” claiming my installers had gone out of business and I was over due an upgrade, I called the people who installed for us and they had in fact gone out of business however I didn’t understand why I needed to upgrade. I looked online and found Rayotec, my call was answered almost immediately, Perry in Solar quickly explained that there are hundreds of people getting these kind of cold calls and they’re almost always fraudulent. After going through my system with Perry he concluded that my system was perfectly fine the way it is, he answered every question I had in a very professional but friendly manner and provided me with a fair quote for servicing as my installers were no longer around. We will definitely be using Rayotec moving forward.

Contacted Rayotec regarding a problem with my solar panels, they replied promptly and requested several details regarding the system and the issue. They then contacted me by phone to discuss it further and suggested a solution. A visit was arranged but the suggested solution fixed the problem so the visit was cancelled with no problem. I found them to be very helpful.

I have to say I never tend to leave reviews but simply had to make an exception with Rayotec. From start to finish I received professional advice from the Solar team. I was put through to Mr Perry Viner and I can safely say this man knows his stuff. He made sure he had as much information on my system as possible, asked me many questions to try to narrow down the problem. He then booked me in for a maintenance visit with one of the engineers, I work a really tight schedule but he made sure I was booked in for a date that worked for ME. Not something you get with many companies. The following day Mr Viner called me back after having got in contact with one of his engineers and asked me to run through a couple of things. He then asked me to try restarting my system which I did and the inverter started up as if nothing happened and has since worked perfectly. Don't hesitate to contact Rayotec if you're experiencing problems with your Solar panels. I've spoken with a few different Solar companies and these guys truly care about their customers. 10/10 Service from a lovely family ran business.

Rayotec were incredibly helpful with our queries around their electric underfloor heating and delivery very swift. The Palziv insulation mat unrolls easily and you can cut to size with a Stanley knife. We taped it down to a board base using a combination of double-sided tape and insulation tape at the seams. The heating mat itself is a matter of unrolling and cutting to shape - I recommend a bit of forward planning with this and starting where your electric supply/thermostat control will be. We tested the mat before unrolling, before cutting and after cutting to ensure it was all fine prior to the Quickstep laminate going on top (no insulation between). Within a few minutes of being on you can feel the floor warming up and it gives a comfortable room-wide warmth rather than being blasted out from a single place like a radiator. Am so pleased with the whole system as were the electrician & carpenter who connected it and did the flooring.

Good afternoon, we have just completed a new Solar Panel installation for the Environment Agency at Red Kite House in Oxfordshire. The company we used was called Rayotec and can I just say what a pleasure it was working with such a professional company, from start to finish the works were exceptional. We had a install engineer called Paul Elliot who was polite and hard working and his knowledge of Solar heating was second to none. All of the H&S documentation was supplied before works commenced and O&M manuals were issued after completion and handover. Mina Sabba the contracts manager has a very hands approach and kept me supplied with all the answers to any queries I had. . Sol Services will be using the company again for any Solar Heating works. BEWARE of the Solar Maintenance department! In trying to avoid the Cowboys I thought to look to Rayotec, a long established Company. HOWEVER the Manager of maintenance is a SHARK! PLEASE make sure you read & fully understand their terms & conditions when you engage them & certainly before they send anybody to your property. Their engineer recharged our system (Supplied & Installed by a Company no longer trading) checked it was operating correctly & sadly on the hottest April day since 1986 mysteriously left the system OFF. That afternoon it reached 128 degrees, heat & pressure then caused a leak on the roof. Scaffolding, 2 roofing engineers & £882 later, a pipe/ joint is the problem & is removed in the hope that it can be replaced. A week later an email arrives stating “I have discussed with Karl his findings and he said that whilst he can get the system running, if required parts were available, but further problems would be likely in the future. The special flexible connectors between the solar panels are special fitting provided by the solar panel maker / installer and we have no means of contacting them”. So now I am left with a missing pipe & no Solar at a Dead End! Yes wait for it ...”Read our terms & conditions”! Would I recommend Rayotec NOT A CHANCE! AVOID! A simple Google search finds a German supplier with a £13 replacement pipe kit …

Have laid new engineered wood flooring in our notoriously cold front hall with Rayotec Underfloor heating system and we now open the front door to a invitingly warm hall now! I would heartily recommend this heating system to anyone wishing to avoid ugly radiators. Still awaiting our first energy bill since installation, but unless it is really silly high, we are delighted.

I was recommended to contact Rayotec by a colleague who had self-installed their heating mats. From the first phone contact to the delivery; their service was first rate - as were the communications. I'm delighted with the result. The hallway and kitchen tiles are delightfully warm to the touch and the Neohub / Wif thermostats are easy to use and set up. Replaced our outdated night storage heaters, downstairs, with electric underfloor heating from Rayotec. They installed it and also arranged floor fitters that laid bamboo flooring on top. Overall, very good service. Very happy with the result. Can only recommend them.

Recently had electric underfloor heating installed in the whole of my ground floor rooms(60+m2). From my first dealings with this company I was impressed with their knowledge and overall helpfulness. My main dealings was with James who I can not speak more highly of his professionalism. From quote to installation was a matter of weeks. Excellent communications throughout, so not left once you handed over your money. Arrived on a Saturday(I know) , from start to finish kept me informed, explaining everything along the way. Cleaned up and instructed me on the use of the Thermostats. Forget "Warm up" go for this company, far superior product and installation service at a far cheaper price. Had my system installed a year ago and happy to say it is exceeding expectations with slightly higher savings than predicted. I remember the team who installed my panels being friendly and their work was clean. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Had solar panel installed and it has been a nightmare. The pipes was very badly installed and the liquid leaked out on to the ceiling in two rooms. The pump was very badly located and very difficult to access. The system failed shortly after it was installed and after repeated calls their engineers gave bias reports. The last engineer who finally identified all the problems was suppose to rectify it. However, decided it did not need rectifying & was charged. The solar panel is now a white elephant and does not work! A total waste of money.
