South Yorkshire Roof Repairs Ltd

Another great job. A complete re-roof of my conservatory - removing the glass and replacing with slate and internal insulation. Now have a room that is usable all year round. A very reliable company with a great crew.

What a wonderful business, deserves every success that comes their way. We had a leaky roof which was coming through a light fitting. Arrived on time, located the problem, explained the solution, booked in and problem sorted professionally and efficiently. They even went the extra mile and clean a drain that was blocked. Highly recommended. Chris

I struck gold here - Incredible company (I have had a poor experience with two previous roofers) ...from the politeness and respect of all employees that I have met, the cleanliness and professional high quality work and finish to the efficiency of booking skip and scaffolding hire and take away, I have really enjoyed my experience with this company. The price was spot on for the high quality work and confidence I have in the guarantee received. Thank you to Dave, Matt. Callum and Charlie!

Had a full roof replaced this summer (2026) and South Yorkshire Roof Repairs have done a fantastic & extremely professional job. Highly recommend this company if you want a stress free, open & honest interaction from start to finish with a fair price & contracted staggered payments at each stage of the work. An initial quote, based on the free drone inspection done by David Turton (the owner of SYRR), was very comprehensive and was professionally produced as a works contract. It included literally everything that was needed for the job. The written quote included all the extra details that I might have had questions about. It made sure all aspects of the work being quoted for was clear & in writing, with everything that was included in the final figure ( eg scaffolding, skip, additional chimney work, quality/brand of materials to be used, insulation/roofing timbers checks etc.). The 3 workmen who did the job were very polite, respectful and tidy throughout the time they were working at the house. They worked efficiently and were clearly very experienced. They also sent photos & updates of the progress they had made every evening to David and he sent these pictures & messages on to me so I could see all sections of the roof (even those hidden from an on-the-ground viewpoint) at every stage of the job. This was really appreciated. The finished roof looks great and because of the detailed pictures from every angle actually taken up there I can see that it’s good workmanship even when zoomed in & up close. I received a written part invoice for each payment stage of the job and a final invoice on completion of the works. The final invoice also included the promised 10 year guarantee. I will post an update to this review next year after the new roof has coped with the winter months as bad weather is obviously the ultimate ‘proof of the pudding’ for a roof. However, I am more than happy to recommend South Yorkshire Roofing Repairs as being exactly what they advertise. A family firm with an ethical, honest & customer focussed ethos that translates into excellent customer service & communication every step of the way. A new roof is a major purchase and a worryingly large job to have done on the house but David, his wife Victoria (financial side of things) and his on-site tradesmen made the process as stress free as possible. Basically, one of those modern day rarities, a firm that actually delivers exactly what they promise.

The team at South Yorkshire Roof Repairs have just replaced our roof, gutters, and repointed the chimney. Great communication from the start, polite and friendly, have done a fantastic job and left everything tidy. Thank you to Dave, Phil, Justin and the whole team!

I recently contacted South Yorkshire Roof Repairs as I needed a new roof on my property. The owner David visited my property on the same day. After a visual survey David then completed a HD drone survey and took me through the process in real time. He then sent me the footage with screen- grabs of specific areas of concern. We were then provided with detailed estimates for a variety of products including advice regarding local building control ( as we are in a conservation area). David visited us with sample products and guided us through the performance and cost of each. At all times David was professional, knowledgeable and such a lovely person to guide us though this process. His work is extremely high standard and we have no hesitation recommending South Yorkshire Roof Repairs.

Top class service, went above and beyond

The team had some delays at the start due to weather but were super quick and communicative once they were able to start. They were incredibly polite and kept us updated about the works. Will definitely use them again in the future!

Top company....reasonable quote...clear layout of timescales and the two lads who did the job were excellent. Well done David and South Yorkshire Roof Repairs!!!

Excellent standard of work. Professional, tidy and contentious. I would highly recommend SYRR after our experience.

Communication was excellent - detailed explanations of the problem with drone photos to demonstrate, then voice notes and videos on WhatsApp throughout the job to help us understand what was happening. The quality of workmanship was easy to see and they were a pleasure to deal with. Couldn’t ask for more.

Did a really thorough and professional job, Chimney looking so much better now! Really tidy and polite roofers who even swept the driveway before they left!

Excellent communication from the initial quote to the completion of the work. Prompt and professional throughout the project. Addressed hidden issues swiftly to make sure everything was up to standard. Thrilled with the results, would thoroughly recommend their services

I have a semi detached house built in the late 1920's whose roof was reaching the end of its life. Reaching retirement I wanted to make sure the roof was secure for the rest of my life so decided on having the roof totally replaced and solar panels installed at the same time. I looked at many quotes. Dave's at SY Roof repairs was far from the cheapest quote but I was impressed by their professionalism and reviews from other users. The lads were great both removing the old tiles, installing insulation, new guttering and replacing with real Spanish slate. I must admit to my eyes it looks fantastic. I got a real appreciation of the skill and craftsmanship of the lads doing the tiling. Jay at Sheffield renewables liaised with the roofers to fit solar panels at the same time. All in all I am very happy with their work. As I said it wasn't the cheapest quote but with a 15 year guarantee the roof will not only see me out but should be there for another 100 years. I really appreciated the updates via WhatsApp and pictures of the work as it progressed. I would be more than happy to recommend Dave and the lads at SY roof repairs.

I contacted David after discovering a leak in my roof over the winter. He quickly came out to do a free drone inspection and it was clear that the roof needed a lot of work. His team replaced the roof with Spanish slate, put in new insulation and rerendered the wall between my house and the neighbour's. Constant communication throughout the job with updates and photos. I'm really happy with the work and it looks great!

Quick work at a fair price. Hard to top that.

Had a full roof replacement on our kitchen extension and they’ve done a fantastic job. Would definitely recommend! Thanks a lot!

Great company. From start to finish , communication great and the lads who carried out our garage / porch roof job ( Brocklehurst Ave) were top notch . Great lads . Can see they take care and pride in their work. Would definitely recommend.

Good work in fixing chimney back gutter from Alfie and David. Would recommend.

Quick and easy process to arrange a repair for a leaking roof with good clear communication (including pictures of the issues and the work done) throughout which was very helpful. Work done to a high standard and even fixed issues from previous roof work, thanks very much!

I cannot recommend this company anymore than possible. The workmanship is second to none, great communication throughout and left everything clean and tidy. Very friendly and courteous. They provided me with before and after photos and I can see now why was having such issues with a leak! Thank you.

I asked for a quote, a date was given when someone would come and take a look at my roof using a drone (could be done without anyone at the property). I’ve called about 5 times following up on this, to see if the drone flight occurred or if it hadn’t, then when would it happen. Each time, the lady and gentleman on the phone was unable to tell me if it happened. They just kept telling me they would speak to the person who flies the drone but no one ever got back to me. Each call I was back at square one. I have a young child and my wife didn’t like the thought of a drone randomly appearing at the window when we do not it would be there. I’ve given up calling now; even if I was given a quote I cannot trust the company to turn up based upon this very basic interaction so far. Very disappointed, especially due to the good reviews the company has. Edit in response to update from owner: I work full time remotely from home, I have cctv cameras and a ring doorbell and did not have anyone come to my door. I was also told no one would need to be at home, despite me being home full time and my wife working from home twice a week

We would highly recommend SYRR. The team that worked on our roof were great, hard working & well organised by David. They did a professional job, communication was excellent, including pictures & videos of progress. They were great lads & we are really pleased with our new roof. Thanks to all at South Yorkshire Roofing Repairs.

Brilliant professionals and totally reliable! I wouldn't consider using anyone else after the fabulous job they've done for me, repairing various leaking valleys, replacing all my failing ridge tiles, replacing a section of completely deficient slates on the garage roof with matching quality Westmoreland slate, replacing all my old leaking cast iron gutters, and renewing and repainting all my timber soffits and fascias. It's been a lot of work on a large detached house. Everything has been done thoughtfully and thoroughly. David and the team have been very open, inviting me to check out the work as it has progressed and regularly providing photos and videos. I'm extremely pleased with the quality of their work. I'm also very impressed by their flexibility in particular - because there will always be things that are worse than expected, and luckily for me, other things that are actually not so bad. It's been a real pleasure having them around.

5 star experience from start to finish, including emergency repairs, amazing communication, detailed quote and regular video updates of progress. A very professional and highly recommended company. Thank you!

I can’t thank Dave & his team enough! They were quick to respond, professional and the finish of their work was brilliant! They communicated really well and did everything they said they would do, despite the terrible weather! His team were friendly and hard working - they left the site immaculately & answered any questions along the way. Dave repaired a roof for me after a terrible experience where I had beef left with a damaged and leaking roof- so he has definitely restored my faith in good workmanship and would recommend the team to anyone!

The teams did a really great job during pretty awful weather and finished on time. From initial drone survey to completion, communication was excellent. Thanks.

We couldn't have picked a worse time for a roof repair, sleat, and rain rain rain. South Yorkshire roof repairs turned up did a drone survey, arranged scaffolding, turned up to do job as arranged. Roofers showed me pictures of the work done, and probably did a little more than quoted. Valley and flashing done, very happy with the work.

David and the team did a smashing job repairing lead flashing perishes and leaks into my attic as well as replacing gutters front and back to allow for more water flow from houses adjacent to ours. They also changed a few faulty slates whilst up there. Great price, great communication and lovely work. Would 100% choose again for any roof work.

Managed to get our job done, despite very poor weather. Was in contact throughout, helping us plan for the visit. Thanks Dave and team

Alex and Tom did a great job replacing the gulley on our roof. They provided photos of progress and explained what they had been doing. Communication from David, both before and after the job started, was excellent.

Second job South Yorkshire roof repairs have done for me and can't fault them. First job done several year's ago still standing solid and see no reason why the present job won't be same. If you don't have the budget for new roof, speak to these people about a repair or advice.

David from South Yorkshire Roofing responded swiftly when I requested a roof repair quote . He then very promptly arranged to visit and provided me with photos taken with his drone , and a clear explanation of what needed doing and I received a quote very quickly . My questions were answered clearly and I felt very happy to accept the quote . Communication with David throughout the process was very friendly and professional and the men who came to do the repair today have done an excellent job . They were friendly , hardworking and I am very satisfied with their work . I received photos and videos of the work straightaway . 5 stars for South Yorkshire Roofing - highly recommended !!! ( the other 6 roofers I contacted were hopeless, most didn’t even reply )

David & his team have done an excellent job .. my chimney breast has had new flashings .. professional job & we’re very quick to respond I am very happy with the service provided.. many thanks Maria

A really professional and personal service throughout. Was given a quote based on findings provided by pictures taken by a drone, all done within around 10 minutes. Was given regular updates along the way until the roof issue was resolved. Great set of lads from quiet, scaffolding and actual roof repair. Would highly recommend if you are looking for quality fix and peace of mind.

When I was looking for roofing works done on my home, I got various quotes from other local roofers. David’s quote didn’t only come in at the most reasonable price, but he also gave me a top service, always willing to talk me through queries, explain to me what certain roofing parts are, etc. When the roofing work was done, the quality of the work was high and the guys on the roof (Alix and Tom) were kind, respectful and always had a minute to let us know what they were up to, and provided us with photos and explanations (alongside free upgrades due to adverse weather (amber warning!)). If you’re looking for a genuine, fair priced and local roofer, David and his team are the ones.

Rectified some roof faults due to poor workmanship by the original builder. Great communication throughout. Sent videos of the repair and explained what they’d done and why. Respectful of the property and left everything clean and tidy.

Absolutely fantastic company! I had a leak around a roof window, they came very quickly to review with a drone! Provided pictures of what was wrong and throughout the repair to show what had been done. I would highly recommend!! Just adding to the review above, they have been back to fix a different leak, very professional again, had to wait a while due to them being busy, but worth the wait. All sorted now, thanks David and team.

Top tier service from Dave and his team. From the start Dave was highly professional. He walked me through options for my 80 year old roof with a drone. After discussing different plans I decided to get the roof and guttering replaced. He sent me a comprehensive quote outlining materials and work that needed doing. Dave then kept me up to date with phone calls, emails, texts and pictures. It was scheduled for early December so the weather was challenging but he let me know constantly if the plan changed. I never chased him once. The roof was completely waterproofed throughout the job as we needed to pause at points due to very heavy rain. Everyone that worked on the roof was friendly, polite and cleaned as much as possible every day. I needed him to check something after the job was finished. He sent someone out the next day to have a look. I think every time I text him he responded almost immediately. Can't fault him or the team. Quality work, great customer care and fantastic communication. I'll be recommending them

Absolutly amazing roofers. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Everything was really easy from getting a quote to scaffolding removal, they sorted out the lot. They also used really high grade materials throughout the build. The communication was fantastic, they sent video and photo updates so you can see exactly what was happening. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would!

Thank you to David, Matt and all of the team at SY Roof Repairs for the work they've completed on our house. Reasonably priced, amazing communication, professional and very friendly. We will definitely use them again for future work and will be recommending highly to friends, family, neighbours and anybody considering getting some work done.

Great service. Came out and gave a quote really quickly, and explained everything clearly. Once agreed I had to wait a few weeks before work started, but was kept up to date as to when they would be. The roofers were really friendly and respectful. Encountered a few delays due to weather (to be expected) but they always kept me informed if they wouldn't be there the next day and they managed to finish the job promptly despite this. I was also kept up to date with photos which was great to know what was going on.

David and his team are superb. After numerous letdowns from other roofing companies, David visited and impressed from the start. Thorough survey and quote delivered on time for full reroof. Work started on schedule, finished on schedule as per quote and we were more than happy with standard of work. Always keen to show us what was being done as the project progressed . I’ve recommended SYRR to friends. He’s due to do my relatives house and adjoining semi in the new year. No way I’d go anywhere else. 5 stars all the way!

Put a new roof on our property,it was a breath of fresh air from start to finish thanks guys

very impressed with david and his team from start to finish … our old cottage gave them a multitude of problems which was overcome efficiently and quickly !! from organising the scaffold to solving any problems we ended up with a roof which was in keeping with our neighbours and finished on time.. would definitely recommend. thankyou David and team !!

Great comms & excellent workmanship. Thank you SYRR! Highly recommended.

Amazing job replacing our gutters and doing some beautiful lead work. Detailed initial quote and felt they had looked at the issues closely to make sure we were doing the right thing, not just doing what they could do. Once on the job they were very professional, turned up when they were meant to and all very tidy. They spotted a few other issues when they had better access and just sorted those after showing me.

Here’s a polished, professional review you can use: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for an Exceptional Roofing Company I couldn’t be more impressed with the service provided by this roofing company. From start to finish, they demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and genuine craftsmanship. Whether it’s minor repairs, a complete reroof, or installing a brand-new roof, their attention to detail is second to none. Communication was clear and consistent. They took the time to explain the work needed, provided a transparent and fair quote. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and customer-focused roofing company, look no further. Highly recommended for repairs, reroofing, and new roof installations. A brilliant experience from beginning to end!

We recently asked Dave Turton’s firm for help concerning a leak in our extension’s roof. His assistant asked relevant questions over the phone and an appointment was quickly made. He turned up on time, surveyed the property, and made arrangements for the necessary work. We have valued Dave’s work in the past and have always valued his good work, honesty and conscientious professionalism. He has re-roofed our house and people are welcome to appraise its high standard. Dr. Barry Johnson

Fantastic experience from start to finish! Highly recommend

Absolutely first class company. Cannot fault at all.

Amazing company and do highly recommend. Great lads and communicated very well 👌🏻

Amazing company, nothing too much trouble 10/10

Excellent work. Professional, friendly and prompt. Completely recommend.

The best roofing team out there! Highly recommended. Would not use anyone else. Lovely lads, go the extra mile. Brilliant service. Thank you so much.

Great friendly and professional service from David and his team from start to finish ! Really pleased with the work and the time frame was fully adhered to Thanks again lads !

These guys did a great job on my Elderly parents roof after they were ripped off by some horrendous people... Watch out there are a lot of scammers out there... You can trust these guys! Claire.

What an amazing professional team!!! I would recommend 💯 without a doubt! You won't be let down! Give Dave a call and get the polite lads to fix your roof

Excellent company.....that delivers an expert product for a decent price. Basically you only want your roof done once so I would use South Yorkshire Roofing. David and his team did a superb job and came back to finish all the little details.

David and the team did a excellent job on my roof, I couldn’t have asked for more from them, hard working, professional, efficient team, the communication throughout was amazing, and not only does my roof look great they completed the job sooner than expected! 100% recommend to anyone looking for a trusted and professional roofing company.

Contacted via WhatsApp and then booked in an appointment for someone to come and give me a quote using their website. Received a confirmation email and a reminder email. Waited in from 8am-3pm - nobody showed up. Update: Just to clarify after the owner’s response, nobody came to my property. I was home all day and waited by the door and no one knocked or called.

Adam came round promptly to look into a roof leak for us, he was polite & knowledgeable and left a very reasonable quote. Thank you!

Very pleased with the work done by South Yorkshire Roof Repairs. From the start to the end of the work David and his team were excellent, always polite, friendly and professional. We were kept up to date with the progress of the work, including photos or a video at the end of each day to show us what had been done - very important when the work is replacing the flat roof on a first floor extension which cannot be seen from the ground. The work was done well, and the site was tidied up every day as was our neighbour’s garden.

David and his team recently looked after an emergency roof situation for my father. They are friendly, straightforward, thoroughly decent and reliable people. In my father's case, they went well out of their way to rescue his roof - and everything under it - from the elements. They have been easily contactable, punctual and professional in my experience. Big thanks to David!!!

We found SYR through an internet search, and after some research went with their very competitive quote to replace our entire large roof, chimney removal, pointing and bay window repairs. Although they didn't come personally recommended, I can now recommend highly. From the owners hands on, bespoke and thorough overview of the multi-tasked project throughout. To the diligent hardwork that the team did in a short amount of time. Having spoke to the roofers alot it was clear they were very skilled, professional and friendly. The only negative I would comment, is they didnt eat all the biscuits we put out for them, but suppose no ones perfect.

After buying our first home we knew the roof needed some serious work done. From the enquiry through to completion David and his team were absolutely fantastic. It was a pleasure having the team around, they were really friendly, super polite and diligent. The work was so thorough and you could see just how much they each cared. David was always on hand to keep us updated and popped in to check on progress. It’s safe to say this was the best investment on our new home. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

I've been really happy with the South Yorkshire team. The heart of it for me is - that all contacts with the management have been pleasant, clear, and prompt. The people coming to do the work have been spot on, I was given videos to see what was done, "Before and After" and thoughtful- like popping to the neighbours to check they are happy too. I recommend them without reservation.

Highly recommend SY Roof Repairs. They‘ve replaced new ridge tiles and appear to have done a sterling job. I liked that they send you footage of the job done. Communication with Dave was excellent at all given points, and the guys on the job were polite and respectful of the property. Thank you!

It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Dave. He was super quick to survey the roof and was able to get a team out to look after us in good time. The lads who did the job were polite, clean and professional. Superb company to deal with from start to finish. Definitely recommend.

We employed South Yorkshire Roof Repairs to remove the moss and install a new dry ridge system on our house and my mother's. From our initial meeting with David, the use of the drone to show us what they would be doing, the quote, and installation all went really smoothly. David kept me informed about the progress of the work and sent me pictures and videos to show me the updates. We were really impressed with the quality of the work and would certainly use them again if ever the need arises.

David and the boys came highly reccomended by a friend and how right he was. From the off David assessed and discussed the issues with great detail and was very informative of the progress being made and punctual almost to the minute which is very rare in a tradesman these days, The work was carried out to the highest standard and the job site was left impeccably clean by the guys who where very polite and friendly, I genuinely can’t speak highly enough of David and his team, the whole experience was an extremely pleasant one ! Thanks guys, you are a credit to your trade ! 👏👏👏

Really impressed with the work I’ve recently had done from South Yorkshire roofing and repairs. Very easy to work with and can honestly say that 10/10

Professional, fast and good communication. Would recommend

Absolute pleasure working with David and his team. I'd tried and failed to get my roof repaired with another roofer and within 2 weeks of contact, South Yorkshire Roof Repairs had fixed my roof. The whole thing was very transparent and stress free with continuous updates on the progress being provided to me. I would use them again 👍

We had a reroof with this company. A positive experience throughout with regular updates via photos and videos of what you can’t see from ground level. The crew were hardworking polite and pleasant every day.

We needed a whole new roof re construction on our 300 year old cottage. It was a big job. Through David and the team though they made the whole process hassle free and reassuring. Had full confidence in the team and they delivered a first class job. Communication was brilliant as was their determination to take the time to do an excellent job, not just get the job done. We now have a beautiful new slate insulated roof which on an old property like this is very reassuring. As well as the addition of diamonds on the roof that are a testament to their skill and pride in their work. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

David and his team were brilliant! Consultation before hand we were given options on the finish of the roof, We have a very old cottage so wanted to stay true to the heritage, they worked very quickly and sent videos and pictures at different stages to show progress. They cleaned up all the debris after as well. Very approachable and clear that quality and care was at the forefront. Can't recommend highly enough.

We had two flat roofs replaced by South Yorkshire Roofing and were thoroughly impressed. David, the owner, kept us informed at every stage, clearly explaining the issues and how they were being resolved. He also sent plenty of photos showing the work before, during, and after, which gave us real confidence in the process. The workmanship was excellent, and the communication throughout was faultless. We’re really pleased with the results and would highly recommend them.

We used this company when two other Roofing companies failed to find a leak on my parents house... Not only did Dave find the problem, he repaired it and showed a video of what he found and how he'd repaired it.. I've also seen a few of their full re-roofs (with the job that I do) and can honestly say their work is carried out to a very good standard. A highly recommended company. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dave and his team have been outstanding at every stage of our project to replace soffits, gutters and fascias. A thorough site visit from Dave and his drone camera (and adorable dog) was followed up at 9am the next morning with a detailed quote. A shout-out to Alix and Carl, who worked like Trojans, were punctual on each of the four days they were with us, and were a pleasure to have around. The quality and precision of their work have transformed the exterior of our house. I know from other quotes I received that Dave's pricing is fair and transparent. I'm so delighted that project 2, to renew the bay felt with fibre glass, begins next week.

David and his team were all very pleasant and helpful and the work looks really good. They removed a chimney, completely reroofed, installed three Velux windows and also coordinated with the company installing solar panels to enable the brackets for these to go on during the reroofing.

I’ve used Dave and South Yorkshire Roofing Repairs twice now - the first time for our chimney to be re-pointed and sealed due to a leak in our loft in 2024. The second time was in June 2025 to fit all new gutters, fascias and Soffits. Dave came round to survey prior to the job and is a ‘salt of the earth’ type who can’t do enough for you. He recommended anthracite fascias to match our front door and we haven’t been disappointed! He had a team of 3 lads working on the job and despite the boiling temperatures, they worked like absolute legends! They even finished the job a day early. They were also very tidy and cleaned up after themselves. Dave always sends updates with the odd video or photos to keep you informed of the ongoing work or finished article. The company is also reasonably priced and doesn’t try to rip you off. I’ll be using SYRR for all of our roofing needs in the future as I firmly believe in showing loyalty to a company you can trust. Thanks again for great work over the past two years.

Great communication, excellent quality of work done. Quoted before we purchased the house then followed up and completed the repairs needed. Easy to work with.

Really impressed with the quick response I got when a flat roof started leaking. Dave answered all my questions and was very helpful and reassuring. The work was completed on time and very professionally. Really pleased to have found this company and will be recommending to my friends!

Great company. Came out and assessed the roof quickly, was thorough with details and started promptly. Really pleased with the results!

Chose SYRR from CheckaTrade because we knew no roofers. Very happy with communications, speed of response and the work done. We wanted the job done right 1st time as it needed scaffolding and you don’t want to have to put scaffolding up twice. Dave was regularly on site supervising his teams and was always available to us. Roofing is always going to be dependent on weather but communication was reliable and we are very happy to recommend Dave and his teams. They dealt with a bunch of issues with broken slates etc they found whilst doing the work, at no extra cost, and a minor snag was sorted the day after we repotted it to Dave.

Absolutely outstanding service from South Yorkshire Roof Repairs.. Quick, Reliable and Affordable.. Would definitely Recommend.. Thanks Guys x

Absolutely delighted with the service from David and the team at South Yorkshire Roof Repairs. From the initial contact right through to the team completing the job, I could not have expected or asked for more. Fantastic Company and service and would have no hesitation in recommending South Yorkshire Roof Repairs to all family and friends. Excellent Service!!

Very happy with Dave and his team. Friendly and good communication and high quality workmanship. Would highly recommend.

South Yorkshire Roof repairs did an excellent re-roof for us. They arrived on time and left the area tidy at the end of the day. Phil and Justin did a great job paying attention to detail and aesthetics. We would be happy to recommend the company.

Excellent job from start to finish dave sorted everything out for us very happy with our new roof would highly recommend

It has been difficult to get anyone to come and do a few small but important fixes on our roof, but it was very easy with SYRR. Easy to book the initial quote and good communication on the lead up to the work being done from David, and his team who did the work were very friendly. Thank you.

Really happy with the work that’s been done and we had quite a lot, chimney removal, second chimney repair, new guttering, facias and small extension roof. Every person who came to work was friendly and professional and you can tell they care about the quality of their work. Everything left spotless at the end of every day. We had some trouble getting our scaffolding down but this was a separate company, and as soon as Dave got on the case it was down in a couple of days. Super happy thank you :)

We couldn't have been more pleased with the work carried out to our home by David's team - a complete roof re-slating, increasing insulation levels above building regs, and some detailed lead work around a large dormer window. When choosing a contractor, as well as wanting a fair price it was important to us to have someone who would engage thoroughly when discussing the details and options with the specification. David was exceptional in this and always responded quickly to calls and messages. We also needed some flexibility, as there were two other contractors involved - fitting a new dormer window frame, and to the rear elevation, solar PV panels, and again his approach to this was impressive. For the work itself, it was a genuine pleasure having Alix, Carl, Max and other members of David's team carry out the work. They were real 'grafters'. Alix had great skill and care in his attention to detail, particularly in his lead work and some additional shaping of slates that has given us a roof to be proud of ! For part of the job we were away, but had complete confidence that if any issues arose they would be flagged up as there were regular communications including video, text and images posted on WhatsApp. We'd have no hesitation recommending them to others. Great job !

Did a great job on our roof, would highly recommend. Very prompt communication and excellent service! Thank you

Excellent work, even worked on a Sunday for finish the job.

Great service for a roof diagnosis and repair. Great comms and professional but still a personal touch. Would recommend, particularly as they seem to have that magic thing of being available reasonably quickly but also with a large portfolio of successfully completed work. Thanks

Highly recommend David and the lads. They were very professional, stuck to timelines and the quote as much as possible. We needed a whole new slate roof and the job turned out to be quite challenging due to a bow in the roof. The guys spotted the problem and dealed with it extremely efficiently. David kept me up to date with photos and videos of the roof all the way through. After having a bad experience with several roofers before, we were very grateful for the smooth process.

I had a roof overhall including repairs to chimneys and flashing, complete replacement of ridge tiles, replacement of gutters and downpipes, soffit, facia boards, and any damaged tiles. David and the team are thorough and the quality and finish of the work is excellent. Highly recommend.

David and the team were very helpful indeed, coming twice to diagnose the issue, which in the end didn't need any work. Friendly, capable and ethical

Great customer service from start to finish. Very quick respond / turnaround even for a small job like replacing gutter joint piece. The team is very friendly and I recommend 100% to All. Thanks Gents 👍

The team was very efficient and did my job very quickly. They made the garden spotless after every day.

Great experience using SY Roofing Repairs. Communication with David before the work was excellent and though I was slightly worried as I was working away during the repairs I needn't have worried. I was kept up to date on progress throughout and received photos of what they were doing. The work was carried out to an excellent standard and the guys were great at clearing up after themselves. You hope to never have to use a roofer again, but if I do, I’ll definitely use this company and would highly recommend.

They sorted my leaking roof really quickly, did a top job and charged a fair price. All happy with the service and communication.

David was quick, courteous and extremely informative when he surveyed the roof of a property for us. Providing plenty of photos to support his opinion, it was clear he knew what he was talking about. Wouldn't hesitate to use his services again!

From initial quote to job completion it's been a 5 star experience. David was professional, helpful and thorough when coming to take a look and quote the job. Communication was perfect throughout, no messing about and we were booked in for the repairs we needed doing. There was no hard sell and no attempt to push anything that wasn't needed. We got a clear time of when the job was going to start, and Max and Carl who came to do the work turned up on time and absolutely went the extra mile. They both did a great job and clearly had a massive amount of knowledge and experience. We got clear before and after pictures showing what had been done and David checked in again after the work was done to confirm. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family in the future.

Very thorough job doing a flat roof repair. Removed layers of previous repairs, back to the rafters. Installed insulation, and then built a proper slope and fibreglass covering. Clean and tidy job.

Excellent service, quality job and very professional. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dave and his team to others.

I’ve used Dave twice now and both times he’s been great. Photos of works done, video updates whilst work ongoing, always contactable if needed and the lads tidied up any works mess after and left the place nice and clean. Top man

Absolutely brilliant guys, quote turned around in a couple of days, scaffolding up and works done in the day. Clean, meticulous & professional job done, would highly recommend.

Thank you SY Roof Repairs! I had a new roof in October, the team are the nicest guys, the work was done on schedule, to a high standard and i’d highly recommend them.

So happy with my new roof. I felt in very safe hands with David and his team. Loved his regular video updates so I could see what was going on up there.

David and his team did a great job sorting out our chimneys and ultimately replacing the whole roof and insulation. The quotes, updates, materials and communication was all first class. Very trustworthy and always walked us through a bunch of options and what each would mean. Would thoroughly recommend for big or small jobs.

David came to our property to conduct a detailed survey using his drone, which allowed him to thoroughly assess the condition of our roof. We had been experiencing significant issues with a leaking chimney, and his team quickly stepped in to resolve the problem. Within just a few days, they returned to carry out the repairs with professionalism and efficiency. Not only did they fix the chimney leak, but they also went the extra mile by identifying and replacing a few broken roof tiles while they were on site. The level of care and attention to detail they demonstrated was truly impressive, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Thanks to David and his team, our roof is now in excellent condition, and the leak has been completely resolved.

Dave and his crew were super friendly on point and knowledgeable with my needs I honestly can't recommend them enough as the roof was impeccably finished. The slates valleys hips and ridges were all replaced with great care and the flashing work was done to a very accurate timeline id set, which when seen from the street gives my property a great kerb appeal ahead of its upcoming sale. Thanks again dave. Super job!

We are very impressed with the work David and his team carried out on our home. Unlike other contractors who never got back to us, David called when he said he would, gave us a quote and completed the work when he said he would. His team are a great bunch. Polite, tidy and considerate. The work he did was spot on and we can now relax knowing that the roof is fixed and under guarantee. I have had no problem recommending him to my neighbours - he's doing lots of work in our area.
