We have a persistent damp area on our chimney breast and I have been contacting roofers to get it fixed. Dean was excellent, he did a drone inspection of our chimney and roof, and rather than selling us repairs, Dean gave us invaluable advice. Dean advised before doing any work we should get a surveyor, as it is likely an issue with the chimney construction, and so would not get resolved by replacing flashing or repointing the chimney. Dean's advice has probably saved us a lot of money and wasted work, thank you.

Absolutely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had commissioning a building company. Dean, head of PAISLEY ROOFING, ensured that the re-roof of our 1930s semi was a seamless experience. Having your house re-roofed would normally be considered in the same vein as root canal work at the dentist. But from start to finish this re-roof was a joy. I really appreciate that they gave me some advice rather than just trying to fix it and it still not be right. If I ever do have a roof issue I will definitely be using them. Had Dean and Paisley Roofing over to sort out a slate that had slipped and replace old guttering on a terraced house in Nether Edge. The scaffolding was up within days and all the work had been completed within a couple of weeks of that first call. Dean phoned up with regular progress reports, explaining what would happen next, who was coming to do the work and how long it would take. Dean and his excellent team (Jude & Oliver) have just finished the reroof on my property, and the work is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they did a really thorough and neat job. Dean stepped in at a difficult time when some tiles had moved and water was coming through, and he sorted out the scaffolding and interim repair for me, and gave a really reasonable price for the roof (considering what top quality work they do!). The guys were lovely and I can't fault them. You can tell that they take pride in what they do, and this really shows.

Dean repaired a hip roof tile that came down in the high winds just before Christmas. Of the roofers I tried he was the only one who replied and he fitted in the quote and repair quickly.

I contacted Paisley to ask about work on my felt roof. Dean stated he didn't really do work on felt flat roofs but he was exceptionally helpful in giving me advice and recommendations to other companies. Very friendly guy.

Dean and his team (Alex, Richard, Jude et al) have done a really lovely job replacing my roof (and next door's), despite nothing being straight and challenging access. The team were considerate of me working at home, telling me where each day was going to be noisiest so I could distance myself as far as possible. They didn't even eat many biscuits! I expect the roof will outlive me so this might be the only time I need them, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

The service we have received from Paisley has been excellent. We received help and support with the diagnosis of the issue, help getting scaffolding in place and then excellent communication from Dean about when the work will begin and what the work will be that is taking place. The roofers who attended were friendly and neat with their work and the after service has been excellent with them checking the repair has corrected the issue before closing the project and getting the scaffolding removed. Very happy all around.

I highly recommend Dean from Paisley Roofing. He came round to do an inspection on a leak in my attic roof and explained the leak to my partner, he then also explained the situation to me after hours once i'd returned home from work. Dean went the extra mile to ensure we knew what was going on. Dean didn't end up doing the repairs needed in the end (as it was something he very honestly advised i could sort myself) but I am super grateful for the advice he gave us and will certainly be using Dean if i ever need a roofer again.

Paisley Roofing coordinated scaffolding and carried out major slate repairs to my roof after storm damage created a leak - the leak was fixed in less than two days alongside repairs to the rest of the slates whilst they were accessible. Excellent service and communication. Dean replaced an old Velux in our son's bedroom and gave us honest advice as we were considering the work involved. Communication was excellent throughout and Dean was flexible and understanding when we needed to change the date of the work due to COVID infections at home. I would use Paisley Roofing again for any future work.

I can't comment on the quality of his work but he tried to charge us £900 for a job which other guttering fitters said would be £600. Went elsewhere in the end, obviously.

Would never recommend paisley roofing to anyone after my experience. Shocking workmanship and shocking quality of materials used. 60% of the tiles started to lose their coating, maybe they were installed upside down. Velux window not fitted square and existing one was damaged.
