In August 2024, I had a roof leak in my bedroom, contacted C&S (Shane) for the same, subsequently he checked the leak and gave me a quote with a 10 year warranty, the job was completed as scheduled, to my surprise it started to leak in 10 days (first rain) but this time in the bedroom and in the hall, he promised to fix the leak, but doesn’t turn up, it’s now July 2025 (10 months) I’ve been ringing him since then but he never answers the phone, so now from one leak in the bedroom I have an additional leak in the hall, he kept the scaffolding up for two months and then disappeared never more to lift my call, very unreliable nice guy but not trustworthy. I have been trying to contact him almost everyday, he read my text and gives empty promises.
Shane and crew seemed good but after contacting them with a problem, I am getting no response. Several calls to Shane are sent to voicemail , getting no return call.
Very professional and helpful service from start to finish. All works carried out as detailed and a very good job and all for the original quotation and unlike other works I have had done no unexpected extra costs.

Shane and his team have just completed a fantastic job on repairing our leaking roof. The roof is only 15 years old but was leaking due to poor construction and the cheap materials used by the original house builder. Scaffolding was erected fast and with care and consideration for our neighbours. We were kept informed throughout the whole process. Seeing the workmanship and premium materials used on the repair C & S Roofing obviously take pride in the work they do. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them!
I had been trying for over a year to tackle a problem with damp on a chimney breast in my bedroom. The house is Edwardian with a sloping state roof. The company I had been using had made several attempts to deal with it and after each visit the problem had been made worse. I contacted C&S Roofing Services to try and get help correcting the mess that had been made of the roof area around the chimney and the chimney lead work and I am extremely pleased with the results. Despite the fact that they very busy Shane made time to come and see the problem and subsequently prepared a detailed written quote for replacing the lead work and rescuing/replacing the slates. Shane clearly and honestly explained to me the details of the work needed and also the reasons why. The work was prompt scheduled in and carried out on the agreed date. All work was done to a very high standard and the costs were very reasonable. C&S Roofing Services certainly know their way a slate roof and have all the skills necessary. They are also pleasant to have around while they are working. All in all, it was a pleasure to deal with them and made a refreshing contrast to my previous experiences with local roofers. I have no hesitation in recommending C&S for any work on slate roofs and I will certainly use them again for any future work that may be needed.
I cannot fault the service I received. Following my initial enquiry one morning, Shane came to inspect issues with the guttering that day. Problem soon identified and fixed there and then. For quality of service C&S would be my first choice with any future roofing problems.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Shane, Fred and all the team who worked so hard to complete my roof and scaffolding works, they really are amazing. Very polite, nothing was too much to ask and the site was left really tidy and clean afterwards. What a team, i would highly recommend them if you need any scaffolding or roofing works done and on top of all of this they were by far the most competitively priced. I can honestly not fault these guys.
I can’t give enough praise to the professionalism of Nick and Rob shown whilst applying the roof to my 6/4meter garden room. The standard of work was above and beyond my expectations. The grantees that Shane promised us that should anything go wrong has put both my Wife and I at ease. Since having the work completed we have had 2 long continuous days of heavy rain and not a drop has entered the room. If I could give more than the 5 stars, I would gave Shane and his colleagues the most I could give. As an elderly couple it is good to see a young man provide an excellent and friendly service, wish more of his work ethics was available. Once again a very big Thank You from my family and I. I have received an extremely poor customer service. Do use this company 1- They do not answer the phone and if and when they answer the phone there is lot of background noise of children and others. 2- Book appointment three weeks in advance. They failed to attend. 3 Called the number someone answered and cut me off after 10 seconds and text me , call call you later. 4- This company has waisted my precious time. They are not reliable. CS Roofing Services -subcontractors of LET for placing solar panels . I requested roof assessment prior to solar panels. Somebody was sent with no competence in assessing the roof ( scaffolder) , a charge was applied for roof assessment but no roof assessment .The answer : it was a check of the area for scaffolding.LET cancelled the job , I asked to be refunded the money paid as it was not me who cancelled the job they sent the client from one to the other one , refusing to return the money paid for roof assessment . Very careful in dealing with these companies.

Everything they said they would do, they did in an efficient and professional way. All the team were efficient and polite, they gave us regular updates. After weeks of calling different companies and getting completely unreasonable quotes...we saw a C&S company van at our local shop one evening and knocked on the window to try our luck at finding someone to help us with our Aspestos roof that was leaking water and damaging all our belongings. We met Shane who couldn't have been anymore willing to help. He came to have a look the following day. Understanding our financial situation he worked with us to make it as affordable as he could. His staff came and worked in the pouring rain all day, removing our old roof and framing for the new one. They were really lovely, and went above and beyond. There's not enough stars to rate Shane and his team any higher. They are local, reliable, and really neighbourly and genuine lads. I highly recommend them. 👌🏻

What a brilliant business to deal with. Shane, the business owner, went out of his way to patch up our leaking gutter which had obviously been leaking for years, having just moved into a new home in Wareham. Shane made a temporary patch using lead as the leak was in a very awkward position. I would recommend this business to anyone.

I cant rate this company enough, Shane was absolutely brilliant, after having been left with a substandard/ leaking roof from our builder, we contacted C&S, Shane came straight out to inspect and gave us a very competitive price, they started work the week after and the work they have done looks brilliant, Shane even rectified other areas of the roof that were not quoted for and didn't charge any extra, he clearly cares about his customers. I will recommend this company to anyone that asks in future.

Whilst the work to replace our roof felt and tiles took longer than originally planned (in part due to unforeseen staffing issues), Shane and his team we're always friendly, polite, hard working and tidy. We now have a smart new roof and guttering. Though Shane's communications were sometimes variable, he was always willing to answer queries, to update on progress and work still to do. They ensured each section of roof was watertight by evening regardless to the weather forecast which was most reassuring. Despite the extra time to completion we would definitely recommend C&S Roofing.

We hired C&S to repair/replace a porch roof (which was previously "repaired" to a very poor standard by another company.) Shane and his team were very professional and courteous, with the work carried out very quickly and to an excellent standard. My roof was leaking and after calling C&S roofing Shane came the same afternoon to see the problem. The following day Jay and Rhys came and changed a cracked tile and cured the problem. It was a very fair price and excellent service bearing in mind they are extremely busy from the recent storm damage. I am getting them to quote me for further work I need doing.

I suffered roof damage after a bad storm at Christmas, Shane was one of the first companies I contacted, he called me within an hour of leaving a message, and attended my address that afternoon to survey the damage and work that needed to be completed.He is a very personable and professional person with a good working knowledge of his profession. He explained to me in detail the work that was needed and the different options available to me. He explained his company is very busy at the moment but would try and help me out. The following day due to bad weather Shane and his team were able to leave one job and sort my problem out.They were extremely professional with the work being carried out to a good standard with no mess or debris left behind. Didn't need to use them in the end but the communication was so prompt and polite I would certainly give them a ring if I needed roofing services in the future.
Called Shane from C&S to come out and look at our chimney cowl as it appeared to be missing something. He said he would be out within the next few days. To our surprise he popped in the next evening as he was passing through, inspected it re secured the cowl. Really good value for money with a professional service.
