I went into Banstead Fruiteers this week with a strange request, I required a Guava and some lychees, both fruits they do not normally stock. After a brief conversation i was told that although they did not stock them, they could get their hand on them for me to whicvh I was very greatful. I then told them that i needed them next day, at 8 in the morning. I was told that it could be done, and rest assured, when i arrived at 8 am today, my guava and lychees were waiting for me. I have never shopped at a store with trhat level of customer service before and it was much appreciated. The rest of the stock in the store looked fresh as always but this small gesture of kindness has assured me that this will be the place I shop for my fruit and veg needs going forward. Always very good produce. Lovely people. If something is not on display simply ask and they may have it out the back. I use these every week as the veg and fruit lasts much longer than any supermarket (including M&S) and all veg and fruit is much bigger than the supermarket. Support your local shops.
I drive over from South Croydon to come here. Not only is it lovely fresh fruit and veg, it lasts, John creates an environment which in my opinion makes shopping a pleasurale experience rather than a chore. I highly reccomend. Karen

Absolutely first rate fresh produce from a local business that has supported the community 7 days a week throughout the pandemic. A big thankyou to John and Caroline and team ,who have also helped efforts to reward NHS staff at Epsom and St Helier with fresh fruit for their breaks .

l have never come across such a friendly and helpfull Man `JOHN ` the greengrocer`s does`nt just supply fresh fruit and vegtables to all his customers but goes that extra mile to help the vulnerable people in the community shopping for thoese elderly people who cant get out of thier homes not just becauseof covid well done john.

When I cook I like to be inspired by the produce, so I buy here. Compact and pristine selection of fruit and veg. Short of attending markets at 5am or growing it yourself, try here.
No cucumber and no dill. I was expecting to be able to buy at the greengrocers rather then the supermarket.
The best green grocers around. Staff are friendly and encouraging. The staff go out if their way to help. Fruit and vegetables are fresh and tasty. People should buy here instead of supermarkets. They dont know what they are missing .
Sadly a bad attitude from the lady who served me this morning who insinuated I bought items only once a year which is untrue. My last basket at the shop was about £15. This rudeness means that I am seriously considering not using your shop in future. Shame that a small business such as this does not treat it's customers pleasantly and with a smile.

Decided to try a proper green grocer rather than the big supermarkets. So glad I did! The veg I bought was fantastic, and so much nicer than that churned out in the supermarkets. But more than that John was very friendly and helpful. I haven't checked to see how prices compare to the supermarkets but to be honest I don't really care, I would much rather pay a little extra (if I am at all) and support a local business. Will definitely be going back!
