Really pleased with the whole experience from start to finish. After deciding to change the original system that had been fitted, Mathew was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and made the whole process of changing over to the new system completely straightforward. We wanted to increase our storage capacity and inverter size, and the new system now consists of two 16kWh batteries (32kWh total storage) with a 10kW inverter. The new Solis system has now been installed and we’re really pleased with how it looks and performs. The two batteries and inverter look really clean and smart, and the installation has been finished to a very high standard. A special mention to the guys who carried out the installation — they were very clean, tidy and respectful, and left everything looking great when they finished. You could tell they took pride in their work. I’d definitely recommend Mathew and his team. Really happy with the finished job.

This solar and battery storage company have installed a Fox battery and hybrid inverter unit for me. At the design and survey stage they listened to what I was looking to achieve when adding batteries to my 14 year old solar panel installation. When the installation was completed they set the system up and demonstrated how the mobile phone app works. I was very pleased with the finished installation.The team were very polite, worked hard throughout the day and cleared up everything when they left. Although it has only one week since installation I can already see the savings which the system delivers. I highly recommend Matthew and his team.

Angus was selected on price and speed of installation. Were responsive to questions and got the paperwork through quickly with suppliers. My only quibble would be a little more help on registering the solar with ones energy suppliers whose aim is to hide on line tariff info and sell panels direct. Scaffolding gone in under 24 hrs which must be a record.

Matthew & team installed a Sigenergy system & 22 Aiko panels across two aspects for us, in a single day, mid June. Everything from initial contact & quote through to commissioning & handover was really well handled. The work carried out was very neat and thorough. Angus were the only company happy to install on the Northern aspect of our property, as scaffolding isn't easy due to lack of footings. The scaffold company (Lux Scaffolding) run by Dean was great. Great experience with Angus Renewables, who were recommended to me. Other firms either didn’t want to install in London or were only interested in large houses. The team devised an excellent solution for my Edwardian terrace in SW19 with 7 panels, a battery and an EV charger. Installation was a a bit of a challenge with the wiring, but they found a way to do this invisibly from the outside and with minimal disruption. Great work all round and superb support with the paperwork.

Angus Renewables Ltd, a family firm, installed an Anker 4.2kW, eight solar panels with a 10kW battery system, on my bungalow. The installation was completed in a day by highly competent and knowledgeable technicians. Matthew Angus, the owner of the company, provided additional information and ensured that the system was installed in a timely way. The system is now fully operational and is providing off grid electricity round the clock. As it is summer, there has been no need to access the National grid for top up power; I welcome the free electricity. I actually found Angus Renewables via my father who couldn’t get hold of his previous installer, and Angus popped over and helped him for 10 minutes. They made such a lasting impression that I reached out for my own installation. I was impressed with the communication and processes in place, everything was very smooth, it was evident Matt and his team invest a lot in training and best practices. I’m a few days in, and I haven’t used a bean of electric form the grid since. Couldn’t rate Matt and his crew high enough.

We've now had our solar/battery system that Angus Renewables installed for just over a week and it's been performing brilliantly. We've not spent a penny since installation on electricity, and may that long continue! Truly thankful to Matthew and the team for everything. From day one Matthew was brilliant. Unlike some installers who tried to push us to a specific brand that they were comfortable with, Matthew worked with us and our budget to truly tailor the solution to us. Let me give you an example: From the start I wanted an 8kw inverter because we have a large roof and were able to fit 22 panels (east/west) on it, plus we wanted to ensure when we're cooking in the evening we're covered. A few of the other companies I spoke to tried to persuade me to downsize, pushing me toward a 5-6kw inverter or charging a premium for the 8kw, which effectively felt like they were trying to force my hand into accepting a lower-rated system. Instead, Matthew heard me, understood, and reassured me that in fact an 8kw inverter is the perfect size for a multitude of reasons. I can safely say, Matthew was correct. Most days this week we've been generating well over 6kw (peak - 50+kwh's daily total), and if I went with the other companies' suggestions, we'd be missing out on that free energy due to inverter clipping! This way all our electric appliances can run and we're covered by solar and/or the battery. This is what drew me to Angus Renewables. I was able to have an actual conversation with them, discuss options, and ask endless questions. I wasn't pushed into a system they preferred or had sitting on the shelves, which is exactly what it felt like with some of the others. It felt with the others I wasn't spending enough money to warrant their attention. Again, some, not all. Perhaps this more speaks to how busy the sector is at the moment, than the comapanies themselves. We did encounter a global supply issue with the original 490w panels we wanted, but Matthew proactively alerted me to this and offered a clear choice: switch to 480w panels or wait a few more months. We chose the 480w panels and they were installed just a week later. The installation team, Stu and Viktor (and Matthew), were amazing. They got the job done even though we had bursts of horrible hail and rain; nothing deterred them. I was fully expecting them to call it a day and come back, but instead they patiently waited out the weather and worked hard in between the gaps and until ~8pm too, to ensure it was operational that day. The final system handover was explained to me clearly and I was very happy with the clean workmanship. I received my paperwork days later, which seems to be a rarity, so a big thank you to the office staff for organising this so quickly! This meant I was quickly able to claim for my green living mortgage cashback scheme and get the ball rolling on my smart export payments. Final note, as I could go on: The way Angus Renewables quote was also another major factor in my decision. Each item (including labour) was fully itemised. Everything was clear, nothing was hidden, and I could see exactly what I was paying for. I can tell you for certain, this was not the case with a good chunk of the other quotes I received. Highly recommended.

Brilliant service from start to finish. My install is in just over a week now and we couldn't be happier. I did quite a list of quotes/surveys with many local and some slightly less local companies and Matthew/Angus were one of only a couple I would let touch my house. Matthew knows his stuff and fielded my endless questions with a level of assuredness which inspires confidence. Pricing was also extremely competitive, some other companies were charging eye-opening amounts and now that my job is done, I cannot fathom what that extra cost gets you. On install day (Saturday). the team were prompt and professional, accommodated some of my last minute plan changes without any fuss and were finished by 3pm. All documentation then received on the following bank holiday Monday just emphasises the time and effort Matthew and team put into the company - even my MCS cert arrived on the Tuesday which I read online can take weeks. Anyway, as stated, we're super happy, everything is working perfectly and I'll gladly recommend Angus to anybody who will listen. . .which I have been, I'm sure the neighbours are sick of me going on about it, meh

We recently had solar panels and a home battery installed by Angus Renewables Ltd, and the whole experience was very positive. We don’t normally write reviews, but felt this one was deserved. Matt carried out the survey and was extremely knowledgeable, explaining everything clearly and recommending the best placement for the battery and equipment. On installation day, Craig and Matthew were friendly, professional, and worked through all kinds of weather to get the job done to a high standard. The area was left clean and tidy once they finished. The system has been performing reliably, and we’re already seeing the benefits in our day‑to‑day energy use. We’re very pleased with the service and would wholeheartedly recommend Angus Renewables Ltd.

I just want to give a big thankyou to Angus Renewables for helping me with a solar problem. I am having an extension built which also extends the flat roof, so I needed to move about half the panels to enable the builder to extend the roof. I also wanted to try an keep the panels connected during their temporary re siting as I obviously need to maintain as much of my own energy as I can during the current fuel situation. I contacted Angus Renewables at quite short notice as the buider had the brickwork up to roof level quicker than I had expected, however Matthew came and helped figure out how the panels were connected and move them to an adjacent area of roof. I needed two extension leads for the solar connection to hook all the circuits back up, Matthew had these made up and delivered to me early the next morning. Can’ fault the service, it has been excellent and I will be using them for my future solar needs. It is nice to find a local company you can rely on. I Highly recommended them.

UPDATE - MARCH 2026 We had a second battery fitted in March 2026. Quick to install, fantastic value for money and it has made a huge difference to our bills - thank you Matt for all your help once again. Our neighbours introduced us to Angus Renewables having had a great experience with them installing solar panels and a battery installed in August 2025. We contacted the rep to discuss our needs. Charles was great. He explained everything and we learnt a lot (myth busting!!) There was no pressure at all and he is very knowledgeable and professional which was reassuring. Matt, the owner, is passionate, patient and his approach makes everything easy and exciting from a customer perspective. The WHOLE team were fantastic prior to, during and after instillation and we cannot recommend Angus Renewables highly enough. Thank you to everyone on the team.

The work was done by 2 men, Mat and Stuart. They were very efficient, clean and quick. Mat helped me set up the app on my phone and explained how the system worked. Brilliant job. I used Angus renewables on my Mother’s house and they were fantastic. The whole process on mine was seamless, efficient, and quick. The fitters did a really tidy job and consulted and advised about where to put cables etc. In one day the whole system was up and running. I recommend them unreservedly.

From the first call to installation and handover was super smooth. Charles did a fantastic job in designing the panels, a job made tougher by the way my gabled roof is. He made sure he took time to check the roof layout through an in person site visit and then quoted me for a 16 panel, 11.2 KW batter my system as well as a EV charger. After 25% of the quoted price was put in as deposit, we agreed for an installation date. Shawn and Jordan came by promptly on the promised date, they were immaculate, took great pride in their quality of work, got the system up and running in 2 days, set up the app, showed me how things work. Couldn't have asked for better experience. Kudos to Angus Renewables and I am looking forward to enjoying this system for years to come.

I can’t speak highly enough of Angus Renewables — a fantastic company that I would highly recommend. They recently installed solar panels and a 10 kW battery system at my property, and the whole experience was excellent. Craig, who installed the panels, was absolutely top-drawer. He had to work around other trades on-site and even came back in his own time to finish the job because they were in the way. Not once did he complain — he just wanted to make sure we were completely happy with everything. Matthew, the electrician who connected the system, was very quick, efficient, and clearly skilled at what he does. Overall, I honestly cannot fault the team. I would highly recommend Angus Renewables to anyone considering solar or battery installations.

Matt and the team at Angus Renewables were recommended to us by a colleague. From the initial discussion over the phone with Charles, the process has been seamless. We knew very little about solar panels and inverters and batteries, but the team patiently walked us through the whole process and came up with some very sensible suggestions. The price was extremely competetive, so we decided to go ahead. We had to wait for planning permission and estate permission, which took about 12 weeks in total, but as soon as the paperwork was in, we agreed a date with Matt for the install to happen. The day before the installation the scaffolders arrived to erect the scaffolding which they did politely and professionally. On the install day, the weather was absolutely foul, with heavt rain and cold temperatures. It didn't put the team off though and despite us fully expecting the install to be delayed, they accomplished around 80% of the tasks and we had 19 out of 24 panels installed, connected and generating by the end of the day. 2 days later a different roofer arrived to complete the final installation of the remaining 5 panels on a different roof. Again, he was polite and professional and did a fantastic job. The site was left clean and tidy, the installation is very neat and works just as it should. Matt is at the end of the phone in case of any questions (of which I had quite a few) and he is quick with his responses. A full pack of information was emailed to me after the final panels were installed and commissioned, making it simple to register with my supplier for the solar export tariff. Overall a very impressive service. So much so that 2 of our friends are now seriously thinking of installing solar and using Angus renewables. Are there cheaper people about? Probably. But if you want a good installation, with knowledgeable, professional and friendly installers and a great team back at base, then look no further than Angus Renewables.

I just put in my solar panels put in by Angus Renewable LTD. From day one when I met Matthew the manager he was fantastic. He keep me updated what he is going to do.The 2 men that came to do the installation was polite and good communication skills during process of the installation. Clean and tidy work areas. After they have finished the installation there was no need for me to clean up anywhere because they have already done it all. They leave my home as how they saw it clean. The time taken to install everything, was less than a day. I am astonish about the whole process. Well done to the team. Great team work, you made my whole family happy. 🍾🍾🍾👊🏽🥂🥂

Superb service, easy and fair to deal with throughout Prompt, informative initial consultation with Charles Tarlton, without any pressure to buy, followed up by a comprehensive email setting out all the things we'd discussed earlier that day. Installation had to be coordinated with other work we were having done on our roof but that wasn't a problem and their team turned up promptly on the agreed day. They obviously knew their stuff and worked efficiently alongside the other contractors, completing the whole installation - 10 x 484W solar panels, 5kWh inverter and 10.36 kWh battery - in about 5 hours, including connecting up with the mains supply and smart electricity meter. They asked where we wanted the battery and inverter to be located outside the house and Sean was particularly obliging with how the cable from the battery was led into the house, to be run behind some coving then down through an interior wall, under the stairs through to the electricity meter. All their work was neat and tidy throughout the whole installation. At the end, Sean showed us how to upload and operate the monitoring app, which has been a source of continuous fascination since, to my mobile. I have found Matt Angus to be easy and very fair to deal with throughout the whole process. The original specification had been for a 5.82kW system with 12 solar panels but in the event, there was only room for 10 panels and a 4.85kW system; Matt immediately adjusted the price and sent me an amended final bill within a couple of days, followed by a comprehensive "Handover Pack", which included all the certificates and warranties required to sell any excess electricity back to the grid. About a week after installation, on a Sunday, the inverter started emitting a high-pitched whining noise that was upsetting our (very good) neighbours so I rang the company number and, to my surprise, Matt answered almost straight away. He asked me to send him some videos of the inverter with the noise which he promised to send to the manufacturers, FoxESS, the next day. Their technical team provided an online software update, uploaded remotely, within a few days. Matt rang to tell me this was going to happen, and what to expect, and then again afterwards to check everything was OK. The update appears to have completely resolved the problem to our, and the neighbours', relief. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to supply and install a solar generation system to anyone, including my 89 year old mother who is very interested in having something for her bungalow in Dorset. From talking me through the quote and the best setup for me, which included a little lateral thinking as some of the panels would be periodically shaded and the fact that I wanted a Tesla battery, the team found the ideal solution. Really tidy install from electrician Matt in the team making sure that I was involved with where all the kit went allowing me to maximise the rest of my garage wall for storage. Very friendly & professional. A smooth process from first meeting Charles to discuss our requirements to the installation and commissioning by Sean & Jordan. The install team were sensitive to my various requests for adjustments to cable runs, device locations, etc as the install was on an old building in a conservation area. On completion, they took time to talk us through the options for getting the best out of the system using the accompanying App - setting reserve battery levels, "Time of Use" settings, etc. Highly recommended

I choose this company after having visits and quotes from other companies. I did some research but did not know the company or anyone that used them. The salesman Charles was very knowledgeable and was not at all pushy. He accepted what I thought that I wanted and did not try to upsell extra equipment etc, but made some well informed suggestions as my installation on my garage roof was over 50 meters from my house and fuse box. As it was a complicated installation he called Matthew (the company owner) and we discussed the situation together. This was very re assuring as I was able to speak to someone that actually installed the product. (Other salesmen had to give me answers via email some time later). I went through the written quote and when I asked a couple of questions, they were answered by either Charles or Matthew very quickly. Other companies replied a week later or were difficult to get hold of. When my Tesler 3 Powerwall was available, we arranged an installation date and on that day a team of 4 arrived to do the job. All members of the team were totally professional, and took time to listen to how and where I wanted the eqipment placed. When there was a problem with an alarm cable, a solution was found and the fix was authorised straight away. I was really happy with how it all went. Matthew came to make sure that everything was going well and spent time telling me about the functions of the Tesler system and how the power exporting works. One of the components was not working properly on final test. There was no problem, one of the team (Sean) came back the next day and installed the replacement. He then went through the verias 'apps'. and my system. So in brief:- Good price, professional informed, non pushy salesman. Excellent access to the 'Boss' who could sort out and authorise adjustments. Really good, professional, hard working, installation team that knew the product and were neat and tidy. (Mine was not an easy install). I am convinced that, if in the future, I have an issue, Matthew and the team will sort it out without a fuss. I'm more than happy to give this review and very happy to recomend Angus Renewables.

Angus renewables did a great job on my house and the solar panels are working well. All the wires were tucked neatly away and the battery is installed in the loft - Fantastic firm!!

I had a number of quotes before going with Angus and although they were the best price my decision wasn’t based on this. It was based on the chap who came out to do the initial survey. He just had a better handle on the topic. He gave me the confidence to move forwards. Previous companies just gave me the sales speech. Angus made recommendations to enhance performance and increased the size of panels at no extra cost. The installers were excellent too. They did a great job. I’ve only had the system for a week and it works like a dream. Angus provides a fair price for great quality work. I would have no hesitation recommending Angus Renewables.

I had a great experience dealing with Angus Renewables. From the initial consultation, the design of the system to the final installation, their team were very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Communication with them through out the whole process was impeccable. Matt came round before the day of the install to advise us on the cable runs and what to expect from the system that had been designed for us. We asked for the scaffold to be put up a couple of days early, so we could take the opportunity to clear our gutters, we also asked for it to be removed on the day of the install and they fully complied with our request. They provided us with a clear and detailed quote; and there were no hidden His team were also magnificent on the day of the install. Craig, Jordan and Sean turned up promptly at our doorstep on the day of the install and carried out the installation diligently. After the installation, they took us through the system and the monitoring app. It was great to find out we were already reaping the benefits of our investment when we saw we were totally off the grid at that point in time and the batteries were also being charged by the panels. As part of the install, we had an EV charger fitted which led us to our one and only issue. Unfortunately a manufacturer firmware update had caused one of the EV system components to stop working. A call to Matt resulted in a quick WhatsApp video response from Sean who had already identified the issue and talked us through how to overcome the problem. So even the after care was second to none. I cannot rate Angus Renewables highly enough. They exceeded all my expectations.

We are very pleased with the whole experience of having our solar panel system installed by Matt and his team. Matt himself catered exactly for our requirements and took time to carry out a couple of site visits in person prior to commencing the project. He was very much hands on during the installation phase and involved personally throughout the project.He worked well with other trades on site, including builders and scaffolders. He has always been prompt, reliable and personable. He took time to explain the pros and cons of various energy tariffs and helped us complete all required paperwork once the install was complete. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. I have already been approached by a neighbour who had commented how good the system looked and how efficiently it was handled. Needed a generation meter changed on a PV system. Matt was very responsive, quoting same day for the job once I'd sent some details and photos.
