Michael removed a Worcester 29 Cdi Classic Boiler and installed a Worcester Bosch 8000 32 kw Boiler in my home, 11/06/2026. Michael and colleague Demi did an outstanding job. Very organised, well prepared with a calm thorough approach to the work. High quality workmanship evident in every stage of the project. Great attention to all safety aspects of installation and subsequent Boiler operation. Particularly pleased with cleanliness and good communications throughout the process. Excellent service from RM Blake. I telephoned on Thursday to enquire about reinstating an LPG gas pipe following building works. Mr. Blake gave clear guidance on preparing the new pipe route. He then came out on the following day to do the pipe installation and recommission the gas system. We have used RM Blake’s services previously to commission the gas heating system when we first moved into our house and subsequently for boiler servicing.

The radiators in my house were old and some were starting to leak. So I thought to replace and contacted RM Blalke.Mike quoted a reasonable price to replace. Arrived promptly Wednesday morning and finished work by lunchtime. Mike also arranged for disposal of the old radiators. His work, is thorough& efficient. I find RM Blake a great trader, professional, courteous, The work is carried out tidily, with minimum disruption.

RM Blake replaced our boiler, central heating system and radiators a few years ago and we've been using them ever since for various jobs and faults. Always reliable and efficient, so I'd highly recommend.

Mike and his team were very efficient, turned up on time and worked throughout the day to fit our new boiler. They were clean and tidy, with excellent communication from start to finish. We’re really pleased with the job and found the pricing competitive. Mike was also very happy to answer any questions we had about our new boiler. The work was completed just before Christmas, which we really appreciated.

I initially contacted them about getting my boiler replaced and now have them each year to do the gas sefety certificates. Easy to contact and always does a good job.

I have used RM Blake for many years and Mike has done a wide range of work for us. He fitted our Worcester boiler, replaced and moved our original radiator to a tall radiator, sorted the bleed valves and blanking plugs at the top of several radiators, and repaired a number of leaks in the older pipework around the house. He has also replaced both the TRVs and lockshield valves on a few of our radiators. He also changed our bathroom tap to a combination mixer tap and did a great job with that too. Mike handles all the Worcester boiler servicing himself and keeps everything updated on his end. The boiler came with a ten year warranty and we are about five years into that now. He also helped set up a flexible payment plan so we could spread the cost, and he introduced us to smart heating. We now use the Bosch smart thermostat which has been brilliant. One thing that really stands out is how he tidies up the pipework as he goes. When we bought the house the pipes were messy and uneven and after Mike completes a job everything looks neat and well finished. Every visit he has been professional, reliable and clearly takes pride in his work. He always leaves everything clean and tidy and the finished results are always spot on. I genuinely cannot fault Mike. His workmanship is excellent, he is trustworthy and he consistently goes the extra mile. I would highly recommend RM Blake for any plumbing or heating work.

This company recently replaced and relocated an old boiler for me . From our first meeting to assess the work required, I found Mike to be completely professional and knowledgeable as well as being friendly and approachable . He advised me on a suitable boiler and thermostatic control to meet my needs and I promptly received a detailed written quotation which I felt was fairly priced. The work was carried out to time and budget and completed within one day.. Mike proved to be a diligent, efficient and clean worker as well as courteous and considerate . He also provided good tuition regarding the use of the boiler and thermostat. I shall definitely be using Mike for future plumbing work and would recommend to my friends and family .

Mike came to service my boiler and changed a tap. Upon inspecting my boiler, which was working, he found a few faults. He did due diligence and said it didn't mean it would stop working, but he had to inform. I decided to have a new boiler fitted and after having had a lot of trouble getting tradesmen to the house was pleasantly surprised when I was told he could come back within a few days. New boiler fitted (at a reasonable height now 😅), tap replaced. Mike was very personable, and I won't hesitate if I need a plumber again 👍🏻

I can see why RM Blake has 10/10 with 325 reviews on checkatrade. I was left last Thursday without hot water after my old boiler broke down and was unrepairable. Mike came to my home straight away and gave me a quote and a date to fit a new boiler. Mike replaced my old boiler with a new worcester bosch and the service Mike provided has been exceptional. Was on time,everything done to such a high standard, home left spotless afterwards inside and out. Can't recommend enough.

The guys from RM Blake came round today to replace my ancient Baxi back boiler with a new combi. They were professional from the start, recommending me an appropriate new boiler model and answering several questions I had before I had even settled on having the work done. They turned up early on the day they said, did all the work needed in a single day, and tidied up before leaving. They removed all the old bits - the boiler, tanks and old thermostat. The new boiler looks cleanly and neatly fitted, as is the new smart thermostat control. Before they left they made sure I was confident using the control and phone app, and showed me how the combi works. The guys were friendly and made me feel confident in their work, as well as comfortable to ask questions. I absolutely plan to reach out to them for any other plumbing jobs I have in future.

Paid boiler cover for years to a well known company, but they were inept and unable to identify what the issue was. A year after cancelling I thought I’d try a local company. It proved to be the best decision as RM Blake identified the problem and in actual fact the boiler was dangerous & this issue should have been picked up 5 years ago. RM Blake quickly resolved and the boiler is now working as it should. Fast efficient service, and reasonably priced, thank you R M Blake.

I needed to replace the old back boiler system in my house for a new combi boiler. The service from RM Blake from start to finish was first class. Mike arrived promptly for the quote and gave us our options in a clear and thorough manner. He then sent us a copy of the quote in the promised timeframe and commenced with the work a week later. Mike and Rhys arrived on the first day and were very respectful of their surroundings, working in a clean and tidy way with dust sheets placed down throughout. The speed at which they worked was highly impressive and the quality of the workmanship is also exemplary. Apart from a very warm house and a new storage room where they old cylinder was, you would not know they have even been here! The new Worcester system works wonderfully and the price initially quoted was the exact price at the end. Mike and Rhys were very polite and friendly throughout and acted with professionalism and courtesy. We had Mike to fit a new bathroom & central heating system 2 years ago the service and work in which we received was excellent. After both my heating and hot water failed I rang Mike Blake and he fitted a new Worcester combi boiler for me. The service I received was excellent from start to finish. Timekeeping was exemplary and Mike fitted in around my time schedule. He was very polite and courteous at all times explaining everything that was being done and also showed me how to control my new boiler. After the work was finished it was like nobody had been here as everything was left exactly as it had been before. It has been nearly two weeks now and I am extremely pleased. So nice to find someone that is honest, reliable, trustworthy, who takes great pride in the service provided and who so obviously places customer satisfaction very highly. I won’t hesitate to use Mike again and would thoroughly recommend him to anyone.
