⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well Worthy of 5 Stars – Excellent 24‑Hour Emergency Service from Michael at M1K Plumbing & Heating Services I rang several plumbers late on Saturday night, just before midnight, after my elderly mother discovered a burst pipe in our upstairs toilet that was flooding water everywhere. The leak was so severe that it caused our house electrics to trip, with water pouring through ceiling light fittings and dripping like a waterfall downstairs in the dining room and toilet — as the bathroom is directly above both rooms. Because it was so late, no one else answered — thank God Michael did!!!! He runs a 24‑hour plumbing service and was at our home within 20 minutes of my call, which was such a relief in the middle of the night to my mum, me, and my worried teenage son, who had been awoken by the chaos. Michael quickly found the problem and capped off the leak after we had already located the external stopcock outside. He stayed just over an hour to make everything safe and calm things down, then arranged to come back on Sunday afternoon to finish the repair. When two other jobs delayed him on Sunday, he phoned straight away to rearrange for Monday morning between 8:30 and 9:00am. True to his word, he arrived promptly at 8:45am and finished everything by 10:05am. Michael is extremely friendly, polite, professional, and clearly knows his trade inside out. He kept us informed throughout the job and made sure we understood what was needed and how much the parts, labour, call‑out charge, and any extras would cost. He even collected the parts he needed before returning today (Monday) as planned. He worked efficiently, left everything tidy, and ensured we were happy before leaving. We’ve saved his number and will definitely be calling him again for any future plumbing issues or emergencies. My boiler stopped heating water. Michael came and diagnosed the problem, even ringing the Worcester Boiler helpline to confirm the problem. A new fan was fitted and my fairly old boiler is running well again. I am very pleased with the outcome.

A 5 star review for this guy. I needed a washing machine plumbed in like "now" - and Michael was round within 30 minutes, got the job done (and perfectly so) within another 30. Since the minimum call out in the trade is one hour, I asked him (perhaps cheekily) if he could assemble some furniture for me; he was straight on the job and made a first class job of that too. He arrived with a smile and left with one. He loves his work, and it shows. Exceptionally well done.

I called Michael to sort out a problem in my en suite shower room. He quickly identified what was wrong and helped me to get a replacement shower valve supplied and fitted under warranty, free of charge, from the manufacturer. Engaged Michael to replace my CH pump as the old one had failed and pretty much welded itself in place. Once it was determined what was needed, it was replaced with a new one pretty swiftly and everything is now running as it should. I will definitely use Michael again.

Yet again we required the services of Mike. We called him at 9 am and by 10 am he had called us, explained the problem and showed my distressed daughter how to reset the boiler via a facetime call. 6 months ago he came to us after 3 bodged repairs to a leak in our bathroom by another plumber. Not only did he fix the problem the same day he was extremely courteous and professional throughout. We will not ever need to call another plumber. He will always get our business and i can recommend him very highly. 10/10

Used Micheal twice, once to do a boiler service and then to get my heating sorted because someone else had installed a thermostat and it had gone wrong. On both occasions Micheal fitted me in with very short notice. Turned up when he said he would. He was also clean, tidy and methodical as he worked. Mike turned up a few hours after I phoned him as my heating was not working. He found the issue quickly and sourced a new part and fixed at a reasonable price.

I contact Mike because our front room radiator needed changing and a leak on our towel rail needed fixing ; as it was dropping our boiler pressure.. Mike had a look and checked our boiler pressure to make sure . He gave me a quote and was willing to come in the next day as I had already bought parts. He was polite and informative , explaining every step as he carried out works. He bleeded all the heaters and even helped me with an error code on our washing machine! Top guy, good manners. Mikey was an absolute superstar coming out at very short notice to a very complicated set of plumbing, and leaks in a block for older people. Mikey was very professional and caring with regards to the residents he came into contact with and was very conscious of maintaining health and safety for the residents in question. I have an autistic child and reactive dogs. Today my sink and tap all broke flooding the kitchen with gross non pup friendly detritus. I found M1K from a google search. Absolutely amazing service. Had a Sunday emergency with a leaking boiler and within an hour and a half we had a visit . Everything was explained before it was done . Friendly and polite service.
