A few days later the problem recurred, Jordan came out the same day (out of hours) and sorted the situation. Avoid Pro Drainage. They serviced my sewage treatment plant on 12 Feb 2026, yet less than 6 weeks later the submersible pump failed — because it clearly hadn’t been cleaned. When they returned, their engineer Brett Marchment admitted he “didn’t even know the pump was there” — this was witnessed and recorded on CCTV, proving the original service was not done properly. They then tried to charge £600+ for a 3-hour repair. I got another company in — £480 and done in 30 minutes. Poor workmanship, questionable pricing, and zero confidence in their service. Trading Standards have been informed. Avoid.

Mark came out to assess repairs to our pitch fibre drains and was incredibly helpful and informative throughout. Once we accepted the quote, the repair work was carried out on time and exactly as described. The team were professional and polite, kept us informed at every stage, and left the site spotless. Highly recommended, and we would happily use Pro Drainage again.

Very disappointing experience. The company took a long time attempting to identify a fault and ultimately failed to find it. As the work was charged by the hour, this significantly increased the cost and made the lack of progress particularly frustrating. I later discovered the issue myself, which only added to that frustration given the time spent on site. More concerning was what happened next. After being unable to identify the problem, there was no clear explanation or agreement that further investigation would be carried out at additional cost. While I was out, they proceeded anyway without my authorisation. A bill of £330 was then presented and settled with my wife, who was placed in a difficult position and understandably paid it, having not been informed that extra chargeable work beyond the original scope was being undertaken. To their credit, a small partial refund was later issued in recognition that they should not have proceeded without my consent. To add to this, around a month later the same drain noise returned, which raises serious questions about what work was actually carried out. When I raised this with the company, I was told that nothing comes with a guarantee and that I would need to pay a further £85 simply to have the issue investigated again. The follow-up email correspondence has been particularly disappointing and dismissive in tone and showing no accountability for the issues raised or how the situation was handled. The fact the company employs a Contracts and Complaints Executive only makes this experience more surprising. Overall, the lack of transparency around costs, consent, communication, and outcomes was unacceptable. I would not use this company again and would advise others to be very cautious and ensure all work and charges are explicitly agreed in advance.

The Lady that took our call reporting blocked drain that was overflowing was professional and good to her word. Took details of the problem and promised to call back with an engineer appointment, which she did in 10 minutes. Ryan turned up on time and dealt with a very messy problem, explaining to me in simple language what needed doing and the costs to do so. Cleared blockage however the initial quote was £42.50 for a manual rodding and additional £57.50 if pressure hose needed. when he arrived he ent through quote in the dark. and said £42.50 for labour and £57.50 for pressure hose. Thought it was one man job but halfway through I noticed another guy who was helping! when I got the bill there was another £42.50 added for the 2nd mans labour which had not been mentioned hen he arrived. would not use them again.

Great service

We had a sudden problem with the majority of our drains - I enquired at around 10pm on a Thursday night and Kelly, the Director got back to me with the quotes and details and once I said yes she had someone come out at 9am the next morning to scope out the problem. She sent out someone called Mikey who was more than great. He was polite, clean and explained everything to us in a way we could understand. When he explained the problems he also didn't try to upsell us or tell us to do anything we didn't need to do immediately - we had just bought the house so he recognised the need to maybe put money into other aspects and areas - however, he then explained that it might cause issues. He then consulted with his colleagues and gave us a quote. He was so good at what he did that we asked if he could come back the following monday and fix it all. On that Monday Mikey arrived on time and again, was polite, clean and educated us on everything he was doing. We were very impressed with the whole experience overall and would highly recommend Mikey and also Pro-drainage to anyone.

We needed the culvert in front of 4 properties to be jet washed through so called pro drainage they were out to visit the site the next day offered a day to get the job done and turned up promptly, super friendly company, they know what they are talking about and knew instantly what was needed to be done, i cannot fault Mark and the pro drainage team if you want a job doing I highly recommend them

Managed to block my drain while trying clear it when the rubber scraper got stuck and pulled off the end of the rods (don't buy cheap drain rods). Jordan was brilliant, explained all the costs clearly and was very re-assuring as well as managing to get the scraper out! As I had paid for the camera he also examined the other drain lines and pointed out where there may issues in the future. All in all a great service. Thanks Jordan!

Used Pro Drainage at my address in Swindon yesterday. The service engineer arrived when they said they would and unblocked the drain in an efficient and professional manner. Would recommend.

Pro drainage were great again as normal. We had a blockage in our system found late on Friday night. Mark and the team arranged to be on site first thing Monday morning with a tanker and an engineer to clear and empty the system. Big thank you. I highly recommend pro drainage. We have used them since before buying our house. They did the survey work, upgrades to our system and the ongoing maintenance and clearing.

I recently hired them to clear my flooded drains after the recent storms. Both gentlemen were very polite and efficient, completing the work quickly and leaving everything spotless. Their service was surprisingly affordable; they cleared my drain in under 20 minutes, resulting in a much lower bill than I anticipated. I would highly recommend them. My father also experienced issues with his pumping station last week, and they dispatched a very knowledgeable technician who resolved the problem in under 20 minutes at a remarkably low cost. He was quite surprised by the reasonable price. I commend their commitment to honest and reliable service.

What a great job from Pro Drainage ! We have the dreaded pitch fibre drains (x2) for our home and after a recent blockage of one of them, and confirmation by a local drain clearing company and camera check, we had several blisters in the drains. I had three companies review and quote. They all advertised as pitch fibre specialists. The two other companies wanted to dig, which would have included our concrete garage floor and block paved pathway. Only Pro Drainage wanted to try the non dig approach. We are so happy that we went with them. The drain under the garage was cleared with their chain cutter and relined with no digging required. The other drain did eventually require a dig because it was too compromised. However, we were really concerned about the mess as it was quite deep and the paving going back properly but you would not know though that we had a pretty deep hole at the front our house. Bobby who did the work was great and really knows his trade. Mark also honoured the original non dig quote ! The cost was also cheaper than the other companies. What more can I say and if only all companies operated this way. I have recommended them to several neighbours which I would certainly not do normally. Great to do business with them and 6 stars from us but not possible !

I called Pro Drainage after calls to three other companies looking for someone to help me with degrading pitch fibre pipes. We had been told by other companies that we would have to dig up our pipes to replace them as they were past the point of relining. I spoke to someone on reception who told me I’d need to speak to Mark, the company owner and pitch fibre specialist. Within a couple of hours Mark called and we arranged for him to come and inspect the pipes. He reassured me that there were very few pipes the company couldn’t reline. Sure enough, on conducting a thorough inspection Mark explained how the process would work and how he had designed equipment to expand our pipes before relining. Within days, we had an appointment and a team turned up to spend the day undertaking the work we had agreed on. We then received a video to show the pipes working and the liners in place. I cannot express how relieved and impressed we were with all aspects of Pro Drainage’s work. It saved us digging up a new and expensive resin driveway and caused no inconvenience to us other than arranging the work and being present for it for a day. We frequently had to have our drains unblocked and experienced issues with sinks and water flow. All the issues we had are now gone. Thank you Mark and the Pro Drainage team!

Absolutely fantastic service from pro drainage.. when you have problems with the drains that you have no idea what to do.. pro drainage were literally to the rescue..! From start to finish..! I called up them up this morning due to an on going issue with my toilet blocking. They were at my door in less than 2 hours.. all rates were explained clearly.. issue now fixed at a good cost.. Would highly recommend these guys..!

Fantastic service from start to finish. All the office staff are so accommodating with all our requests and nothing is ever too much trouble. Always on hand 24/7 should we need to contact them. Tankers are fully equipped with what you need to complete the job. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

We called pro drainage out as our drain in the garden was overflowing. I had a very knowledgeable and helpful engineer with me within the hour who cleared up the issue and advised us on preventative measures for the future should it reoccur. Fantastic service at a great price would highly recommend!

The guys from pro drainage, Adam and I didn't catch the name of the other one, did an incredible job sorting out our drainage problem that other companies couldn’t. They did it efficiently and effectively and helped me understand what that actual issue was, I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Pro Drainage provided an excellent, efficient service. We had a blocked kitchen drain that had been attended by two previous plumbers with no success. Pro Drainage responded to our initial contact quickly and kept in communication throughout. Jordan and his team were friendly and professional, talked us through our options and carried out the work quickly. They had all the tools required to deal with a significant blockage, including in our case CCTV camera and high pressure jet. The blockage was dealt with in 90 minutes, much to our relief. Highly recommended.

We had a badly blocked train, we only noticed on Bank Holiday Sunday, with 1 drain full to the brim and overflowing with waste so use of water in the house was not possible. PD got Ryan and colleague round within 45 minutes of the call! Lads were top draw, called to let me know they were on way, were polite, talked through and showed the issues causing blocked drains (tree routes) and cleared for use talking through work required to prevent further problems. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Ryan and Chris were excellent and very knowledgeable. 110% job done. Considering it could have been a messy job they were very careful inside and outside my property. Will definitely use the company again. Acceptable price too, considering it was holiday day.

Updating review with the job no for the first visit - 33577. Avoid, Rip off! Summarising my bad experience in this post. Prodrainage was engaged by my housing agency when we a blocked kitchen sink. The problem was in kitchen sink which was clearly communicated to them by the agency. The first time when Prodrainage team visited the property they didn't listen to where/what the issue was, didn't come inside the house. They started working on the main line outside the house which is at least 20-25 ft away from the kitchen sink. I told them at least 10times that the problem was not in the main line but all in vain. Quoting below the job description from the invoice: "Arrived to site, blocked kitchen gully, lifted manhole and was all blocked. Used HPWJ to unblock. Use cctv to investigate, found plunger in main line, use HPWJ on gully to clear, sink still blocked. Not prepared to touch until acid is removed". If you knew acid was poured and not ready to touch the sink why was the job accepted. Why did you have to work on main line outside the house which was never a problem and charge 423£. If the mainline was all blocked as per the job description, it would have caused blockage for neighbours as well, which was not the cause. Neither the manhole was overflowing. 4 days later another 2 people visit the property and use high pressure micro jetting to unblock the sink, this time with a bill of 372£.

Totally rubbish ripped off by 2 cowboys Ryan and Charlie came on a Friday moaning about my drain made it 10x worse charge me £300 pounds for 1 hour work.avoid this company.

Great job by Ryan clearing out our blocked up drains quickly and efficiently on a Saturday evening at short notice. Arrived within half an hour of our call out and got everything flowing again. Everything was clearly explained from the start to finish.

They came out for a drain survey early December. Apparently due to the nature of the pipes, it was difficult to get exact depth and direction. Charged me £330. Paid by card over the phone when the job was done and given a receipt. 3 weeks later, I get an email saying I haven't paid and needs to be resolved. I sent in proof of the paid bill from my bank and a copy of the receipt that the money has been debited and that was the end of the matter. A week later another phone call saying i haven't paid. Sent in proof AGAIN and now I'm being harassed for money. Stay away for these people . I wonder how many times they've done this before....

Had a blocked drain, rang these guys they said they would be out the next day when other company's were booked for days. They cleared the issue and told me what caused it. Problem solved and I'm very happy

Phoned about blocked external trap form sink - Jorden and his college were on site within 3 hours - Excellent polite and efficient the problem was solved in half an hour by high pressure water jetting after lifting a deep manhole cover. We are asked them for a second opinion after a company (No1 PHD in Poole) had looked at a drain (charging nearly £300 for the camera) and said it had collapsed and needed relining. and quoted over £3k. Mark had a look with the camera and it was fine. He gave it a good plunge and cleared a fatty blockage. He didn't even want to charge us. I would definitely recommend as he was honest, friendly and knowledgeable.

Very impressed with the service, from the helpful lady on the phone to the guy who came out. I was being very nosey as well and he explained how it all works and even showed me some of the high tech gizmos they use. Only found the company after seeing their trucks at sandbanks Sandfest as they looked after that event. Well recommended 👍🏼

They were polite and got the job done quickly once they put their heads to it, after some dithering trying to make the job appear as more complicated than it was and trying to charge extra for unecessary use of cctv equipment. Also attempted to get paid double because there were 2 engineers there, which was at odds with what was said on the phone and their own paperwork on arrival. They backed down quickly once we refused, indicating they knew they were chancing it. For this reason we would not use this company again.

I am writing to express my gratitude to Prodrainage for their dedication and hard work during the renovations to my septic tank. They kept me updated throughout particularly the excavations which I had been dreading. I was worried that the upheaval would impact negatively on the the sale of my property. Mark and his team have worked on three jobs for me. The Pitch Fibre repair was the first job when I met three of the team. Their quote was cheaper and a more accurate assessment of what was needed. They have since managed a plumbing problem for me, and fitted a bathroom accessory. They are a professional team, great to have around and if you are very lucky, as I was - you might get an introduction to Finley who is the icing on the cake.

They said that they don't charge a call out just £42 for half an hour, the bill was £120, the difference was for equipment used but no one said anything about the extra charge. Would definitely not use them again due to hidden costs.

emptied septic tank 10 days later filled up again same guy came back with very little knowledge said it would cost £ 10,000 !!! wasn't that a coincidence ??? he had no idea of what the problems could possibly be just said new tank... be, promised someone would come back to empty tank again they didn't waited the whole day for boss Mark to return my 3 calls he did not . aggressive on phone not nice people , would use them who was REALLY helpful and nice was Axe Vale drainage - even though his tanker was too big he spent 10 minutes giving us advice , explaining several things that the problem could be

I used Pro Drainage to inspect a block drain which come up on the survey when buying my first home. The company were quick to come out and see the property, I had asked for the employee to call me before visiting the property so I could meet them there to explain what needed to be looked at. Instead the employee went there and looked at the mains drains instead of the only blocked drain he would of walked past to get to the other. I was charged over £300 for the drains to be inspected and was given no video of this to prove they had even been, which of course I refused to pay for obvious reasons. The employee then re visited the property to make a CCTV video and price for a job that was thousands of pounds to be done. I had another person look at the drains who told me i was being ripped off as the work they had quoted for didn't need doing. Eventually the one drain which was blocked was finally cleared on the 3rd visit! Something that should of been done on the first. A few months later the drain is blocked again so I call out someone else who charges me £90 to use CCTV and actually clear the blockage which he said must is likely to have been their for years. Hands down I would avoid this company at all costs and have already told lots of people to avoid them and being ripped off.

Great service. ProDrainage was recommended to me by my surveyor during a house purchase. Surveyor had concerns re leaking drains. Mark and his team CCTV'd the whole drainage system and sent me the full video for me to examine the results for myself. With an estimate for the work agreed, Mark and his team spent several days repairing and re-lining the drains. A patio that had to be dug up as part of the works was well repaired and restored by a dedicated patio laying expert they utilise. Work overran by a couple of days but price paid was as per estimate. Would not hesitate to use ProDrainage again.

I have just moved into a house with Pitch Fibre drains. Having tried many local companies (Im now in West Wales - as far west as you can go!) with none of them interested or even replying, I found Pro Drains online. I don’t normally do reviews, but as the two guys who worked here yesterday were so good I had to compliment them (and the company). Polite, professional, explained everything and how it all worked. Did the job, tidied up afterwards and at the stated price, a credit to the company and themselves. Despite being advised about the traveling cost this job was done UNDER my envisaged budget. I can't recommend them highly enough. A very modern company with GOOD OLD FASHIONED CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Mark was very quick to respond to our urgent matter. He explained what had happened and what he was doing to remedy the situation, which was very reassuring for us! After completing the task, we found that there was a further complication which needed attending. Mark returned with no fuss and was very enthusiastic to complete the job. Had a blocked sink, called office and there was a lad out within hour or so, he came in knew the issue, which was actually outside under the house, had it sorted in about 40 mins, spot on

Had Mark out to conduct a drain survey, he found the problem and fixed it. Good value for money and I would use them again.

Didn't clear the main drain because it had roots in it and said I needed root cutting and charged me £354. I got Drain and Able from Reading to come out a couple of days later and they jetted it out properly.

Looked at this company online and noticed that they were Trustmark approved. When I checked with Trustmark they confirmed to me that this company is NOT trustmark approved. Nice honest company then!!! Avoid, avoid, avoid. Didn't want to give them any stars purely for their deceit but had to give them one otherwise I wouldn't have been able to post this review. DODGY
