Scott did an excellent job mending our loft hot water boiler. A previous engineer had wrongly advised that the unit was irrepairable since the spark electrode was no longer manufactured. This was incorrect - I sourced the 308s116 part from Hannicks Heating & Spares. On a second visit, Scott brought along the spark generator button and a generic cable - and fitted all 3 parts (after drilling out two threaded screws made by the previous engineer, in the old spark electrode).

Had Scott the heating engineer from Joy Group Yesterday heating stopped working at my nans, what an absolute credit to the company, very polite, knew his stuff and it really shows when you have a genuine tradesperson in your home with a good company to back it up. Already have and will always be recommending Joy going forward.

Super nice and helpful team! Our boiler broken down and we got it sorted literally next day! Engineer was super nice, even took his boots of when he notice that we have small kids crawling around ! Top service!

Excellent service. I had an emergency on a Sunday and called Joy Services and they sent me a plumber and he arrived half an hour later. Can´t thank them enough. Liam came and fixed the leakage and prevented further damage. Very professional and knew exactly what to do.

It was a pleasure to find a plumbers that would give us a quote for the job, rather than xx per 1/2 hour! A very nice man called Luke came at the time given, removed our old electric shower and surface mounted lovely chrome pipes to the new shower, the pipes run symmetrically and the shower looks beautiful, a reasonable price for the job, very happy, would recommend to anyone!

I've used Joy before and they were great. However, I sought their services this week to fix a leak under the sink. The plumber was supposed to arrive at 13:00, then when I called to chase, I was told that the appointment had been pushed back to 14:00. At 14:30 I chased again, and was I told the plumber was still on the previous job and that we'd need to reschedule, so I've gone with a different service provider instead. All this time, I had to do all the chasing. I understand that appointments get pushed back – that's inevitable – but the fact that there was no proactive call from Joy to flag that they were going to be late was really disappointing. One proactive call from the plumber would have made all the difference.

Excellent service. Adam came out on Sunday morning to fix a leak. It necessitated lots of detective work to locate the source of the leak and subsequently fix it. From the off, Adam was professional and knowledgeable and confident that he would sort it out. Which he did! Exceptional standard of work. Will be using Joy Services in the future.

I have used Joy Services for many services and have found everyone including the receptionists friendly, professional, helpful and communicative. They have always carried out work professionally, on time and have called back when they said that they would. Thank you!

Excellent service - clear and responsive: changed old radiators throughout; fitted under sink whole house water filter. All the guys that came were friendly and efficient. Very pleased with their work.

We called Joy because our tenant said the lights had tripped, they turned up promptly and found the extractor fan outlet in the bathroom was causing the lights to trip. Their solution was to disconnect the fan to stop it working, so now we have lovely lights but mould growing on the walls where there is no extraction from the bathroom. Despite many many attempts to get Joy to fix the issue it still remains unresolved. Joy by name not by nature save yourself some time and try elsewhere

Having found Joy are able to do plumbing & electrics we though this would be a good company to start using.....how wrong were we. The only positive - we called them for an emergency in our rental property and they came out the same day. They isolated the problem and told the tenant they would call us - they never did. We had to call them, each time they said they would call us back but never did. I lost count of the times we phoned them. We asked for the invoice to be send to us, it was sent to the tenant. After about 3 weeks of chasing for a quote to rectify the original problem, it arrived. The quote they sent was not for the work we had asked them to do - just to replace the part (which does not need doing). All in all, the admin side of things is a complete joke.

We had chandeliers fitted today. Arrived on time and provided an excellent service. Highly recommended.

Our heating broke down over the Christmas holidays, when we called, the lady who answered was extremely helpful and was true to her word. We had two engineers on different days both very polite, professional and informative. Whole system checked thoroughly and once diagnosed, we had to wait for the part. Engineers arrived on time. The part was fitted, whole system was tested for us. They were extremely professional, friendly and explained everything to us. And, removed his shoes! Extremely happy with this service and the professional approach. It was nice to have trades that turned up when promised, very rare these days. Would definitely recommend.

For the last 6 years we have used Oliver's Heating which we believe is now part of Joy Services Group. But we have found the level of of service so extremely poor and have been badly let down by you multiple times now. We've had to chase up almost every email, and every phone call over the last 3 months, and have lost count of the number of times that you have promised replies/callbacks that have just never materialized. Once or twice is understandable, but in almost every bit of communication we have sent through (to multiple people), WE have had to chase it up, sometimes 3 or 4 times to get a basic answer. Apart from it reflecting very poorly on your customer service it's also just plain rude. This is in spite of us being loyal customers for 6 years. After the home visit back in the summer, it took you 4 weeks just to supply us with the quote for a £2.5K job - which we accepted straightway so we could get everything booked BEFORE winter. We had a question about the quote which we had to ask multiple times and eventually just gave up asking. It took weeks for anyone to reply to our emails and calls to book a date for the job despite accepting the quote back in October. On the day of the job, by 9:30 am, no one arrived! When we called the office and were told someone would 'find out what is happening and get back to us in 15 minutes That never happened. We had to call the office again at 11:30 am and were then told that they had 'forgotten' us - sorry and forgotten to tell us that they weren't able to make it because they had a couple of emergency call-outs that obviously take priority. The job was rescheduled for later that week, but that was again cancelled the day before because one of the tradesmen was sick. Now a week later we have just been informed on the morning of the job that we have been cancelled for the 3rd time. Surely the right thing to do is to reschedule someone else to come and get the job done instead of once again pushing us to the back of the queue for the 4th time. We've been waiting since September! To top it all off after calling the office the office this morning asking to speak to someone higher up and being promised a callback straightaway with a manager - it's now almost 6 pm and unbelievably this hasn't happened! The level of service we have received from you is shocking! There just aren't any more excuses that can be made to cover up for the level of incompetence and total disregard you have for your customers. We have been strung along for over 3 months and wasted so much of our time. We will never use or recommend you again.

I was delighted with the service as I damaged some wiring and needed am emergency call out. Steve gave me clear consise advice and kept in contact with me until an electrician came out. I felt valued and would highly recommend their services.

worked my way through a multitude of different plumbing services with no success then found joy services wish i had gone to them first and will do in the future they answered my call promptly and promised an engineer would be with me that day and would ring to let me know when he was comeing sure enough jack phoned to say he would be with me in 15 mins the service was first class even down to asking if shoes where ok in the house and the blocked drain was cleared quickly thanks jack.

So, I had a boiler change with them, and to be honest, it was a bit bumpy ride to get a quote and then to get them start, but Paul, the owner of Joy Services reached out to me with the quickest and most professional advice and quote then was.rwad next day. As this is probably one of the most busy periods for such a work, I had to wait for a month since I paid first half of invoice but that was understandable (but I would hope for a little bit more communication regarding dates arrangement). Since they started, it was the most professional team I have seen here in UK (and Matt was a leader), it took them 2 and a half days to do quite a lot of work, all went smoothly from what I have seen and the pipe work is just outstanding. I would give 4.5 stars if possible but can recommend them anytime!

At last a heating company I can rely on to diagnose and fix problems quickly and efficiently plus service items as they should be. A special thanks to Scott for turning what was an ineffective heating and hot water system into something which now runs perfectly.

Twice now they've been out to us and fixed plumbing problems that other companies couldn't. Always friendly people too. Never been an easier recommendation.

Had a problem with dropping pressure on my boiler causing an error and shutting down every two weeks. Another well known national company attended 4 times and still couldnt solve the problem. Finally contacted Joy Plumbing, and they identified the issue on the first visit. I booked them to do the work needed and so far so good, a month on, and the pressure has been maintained! Would definitely recommend this company, they took the time to get to the cause of the problem and carried out the work on time and with a great attitude. Thank you.

About to go to party on Saturday night and turned on shower to get only cold water. Called Joy Plumbing and was put through to after hours service. Answered promptly by Dan who talked me through how to fix pressure. Five minutes later and I had hot water. Impressed and wouldn't take payment.

Will is brilliant , we had a couple of problem with our boiler , Will came and diagnoised the problem , fitted the new parts and new programmer , he was very polite and helpfull , phoned when he was running a bit late , cleaned up after himself . I was recently referred to Joy Plumbing through my home emergency breakdown cover. An ongoing boiler issue was causing me many days of agony with no heating/hot water, and a previous plumber had been unable to rectify the problem. Dan was sent to my rescue. He went above and beyond to make sure that i wouldn't have to spend another weekend in the cold for which i am extremely grateful.
