From the initial quote request, to signing off the finished installation I was impressed by the quick response and completion. After a site visit, the written quote was completed and received the same day giving me installation options and prices. Having accepted the quote, work was started promptly with a speedy completion. Additional work was needed, I was expecting this due to the age of the existing system, but I was informed at all stages and quotes given before the work was undertaken. I would thoroughly recommend this company.
Fantastic service in all departments. Following a catastrophic overnight oil boiler failure in the home of a vulnerable person just a week before a bank holiday, appreciating the need for heat ASAP, came out the same day (Thursday) to assess and quote, went through requirements patiently with me, was emailed the quotation that evening, accepted the following morning with installation Monday-Wednesday the following week. All completed on time despite some aspects throwing curved balls at the team). Unreservedly recommended to work in difficult situations, thorough and professional at every turn. And a refreshingly accommodating firm to juggle things around to take account of urgency.

Excellent company, their response from our first phone call was encouraging, we had a engineer visit and soon received a quotation for a new central heating boiler. The installation went very smoothly, competent friendly tradesmen, a lovely tidy install, no mess, no problems. Very satisfied.
Excellent service. I had a leaky pipe which was getting worse. Even turning the water off did not help. I called A & D (as I have used them a few times before) and Kevin came round that afternoon and the problem was immediately sorted. I was extremely worried that they wouldn't be able to come round quickly but as usual they didn't let me down. Kevin was extremely friendly and professional. He even took his shoes off!! Very happy with the outcome.
It's a hit and miss. - It's hard because you don't know who you will get. The first time we used he company we had a great plumber! The second time, they couldn't do the job. If we were sure we would get our first guy we would be using this company regularly but after paying £118 for someone who said "the couldn't do the job" then using a second company who managed to fix it and charged us half this fee. The company considered refunding us the second plumber as he didn't actually do any work which is why I put 2 stars. And as he first plumber was really good.
A&D Plumbing Services installed a new Worcester Bosch boiler. Kevin who carried out the installation arrived on time and was respectful of my home. Left the working area clean and tidy and the whole process ran very smoothly. At the end of the installation, Kevin explained how the new boiler and controls work. From the initial enquiry, to receiving the quote and booking the installation and the installation itself, complete satisfaction.

Been using A&D plumbing for a number of years now, at both my home and my mothers home. They have fitted my heating oil boiler and mothers gas boiler and serviced them. Always courteous, they leave everything clean and tidy. Would happily recommend them to anyone.
A&D fitted my new boiler both engineers professional and polite called out again as loosing pressure quickly identified the problem and passed me back too the manufacturer to repair as the manufacturer had failed to identify thank you for the quick response to the call

Had our 16 radiators 'power flushed' by Kevin as most of our radiators were not warming at all. Expensive (an all day job) but well worth it. We have been using A&D to service our boiler. Reliable, courteous staff and reasonably priced. Highly recommended 👍
When our boiler malfunctioned on Friday evening, I anticipated enduring sub-zero temperatures indoors throughoutthe weekend, not to mention the absence of hot water. Despite reaching out to several 24-hour service companies, the earliest available appointment was in 2-4 days. Fortunately, my discovery of A&D Plumbing proved to be a stroke of luck. They promptly dispatched a plumber the following day. This individual arrived, swiftly identified the problem upon inspection, and rectified it efficiently. Moreover, he displayed a genuinely pleasant and kind demeanor throughout. Within an hour, the boiler was back in working order. Notably, he observed my interest in DIY and took the time to thoroughly explain the cause of the issue and offered preventative measures for the future. The pricing was fair, and I've made sure to save their contact details for future reference. I strongly recommend their services and extend my gratitude to A&D for their exceptional assistance. Had a central heating boiler fitted in 2022 - very professional company excellent finish. Did not hesitate to use them again (2023) to supply and fit a new emersion heater and shower pump. Once again excellent job, very professional and brilliant service and a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend them.
We have used A&D Plumbing for a number of years now, from small tap changes to emergency major leaks repairs. Always excellent quality work, always on time and always courteous. You can find cheaper plumbers in the phone book but you get what you pay for and A&D are the best around.

They responded very quickly to our enquiry arranged an appointment quickly and fitted the new boiler within a week after accepting quotation. The engineer worked well, cleanly, kept us informed and helped with setting up the Hive which was not straightforward. Basically order, fitted and arranged for warranty etc. without fuss.

In fact, a complete new boiler system (not listed above) As a nominated installer for Baxi boilers they did the perfect job. Before my retirement, I was in the home appliance industry and as Key Account Manager for Miele (the BMW/Merc) of appliances, service was as important as the original sale. A&D responded after Baxi passed the call within 24 hours and were on site and working on the project the very next day. Efficient, tidy and courteous. No drama at all. From start to finish it was two working days for a new boiler, with the modern gas checks etc, new thermostat and other modifications. In all, a first class job. I recommend A & D for all your heating and plumbing needs.

What a fantastic service from start to finish. We had a back boiler removed and a combi installed in the loft. Kevin, Matt and Gary had it done within the week, despite it needing new pipes, an additional radiator and electrics, there was so little mess and everything was done really speedily. We are very happy.

With oil prices so high we thought we’d bite the bullet and replace our 1970’s oil boiler with a new efficient model, along with the addition of TRV’s on all radiators. Got several quotes and decided on A&D because of price and professionalism when providing their quote and answering follow up questions. I wondered if there would be any problems due to the age of the original system but if there were, they were all overcome and work was completed as per quote with everything being left clean and tidy. Would definitely use again and will be using for boiler service next year.
They came, fixed the issue that’s all well and good cant fault that aspect however ,…. Be prepared to be ripped off on parts, I’ve ended up paying double for a Grundfos UPS3 pump, I was charged just over £180 for the part, these are for sale in any local screwfix or plumbers merchants for £90 odd pound,… this experience ruined it for me should have asked for a receipt for the part as I would have flat out refused had I known at the time what I was being charged! Will not use again as I feel like they have taken the piss out of me,…I warn anyone who gets work done to ask for part receipts, don’t get ripped off!!

I made contact with this company on 01206 205940 A&D at 12:30 on the 7th of March 2022 this morning and spoke to someone from the company, I booked a job with the company to fix my Toilet that is leaking flush tank. They said an plumber will come to my property between 3 and 6pm, I have been Waiting all day and the time is now 7:15pm unfortunately no one bothered to turn up not even a phone call. To all the people thats reading this please note that I have noticed some company they put fake review and fake websites be careful, I believe this company is fake, I thought they were trustworthy and a genuine company, I would not contact this company again I don't recommend this company to anyone as they have wasted my time all day today please be careful everyone. In regards to the owner of the company replying to my message I disagree completely I phone him again to explain the situation and I did speak to the same person and I told him to listen to the last recording and made on the 7th of March, I told him I dont need his service any longer. We are the customer we are aways right. Plumber company you see on Google a lot of them are fraud and fake. So once again everyone be careful when contacting any website on Google especially local plumber. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
We had a small issue with the flue on our boiler that A & D installed very neatly last year. It was quickly dealt with and resolved by Daniel and Kevin. I don't think you ever really know a company until you see how they deal with after sales issues. A professional organisation that I am happy to recommend.
I never usually am happy enough with any service from anywhere to leave a good review....However...This company blew us away from the first phone call to the finished job! Fantastic service! I rang explaining my mum wasn't very good with her memory and not so comfy with strangers in the house, and I wasn't there to assist her at this time, they came to a leaky oil boiler within the hour! Helped clean up, then got hot on the trail to find parts for her ancient boiler ! All the way through keeping me informed with prices and options, we chose to update the boiler in the end and Wow, lots of work for a very good price ! ...we really can't thank them enough...even giving options of different ways to pay as i couldn't be there, so not to put pressure on an old lady alone. They left everything in immaculate condition and re plumbed my mum's washing machine elsewhere for her! So clean infact she thought they'd delivered a new washing machine as well! If anyone from A&D read this ...Thankyou so much! We will use you for anything plumbing/ boiler related for the foreseeable future! X
Very helpful and were able to quote competitively to replace our ageing oil fired boiler. Very fast service as we were struggling to heat the house for disabled mother in law. The engineers arrived on time and carried out the work quickly and very professionally. Worked clean and tidy and left the site clean. Only way you would know they had been there was the house was lovely and warm Highly recommended and very reliable.

We used A&D Plumbing Services this week to install a new Baxi boiler, to replace our old, 19-year old Baxi, after too many call outs for an aging system. We worked with Baxi who recommended A&D, as they were Baxi trained. Great service, from start to finish. The initial visit to review and quote was done by Kevin and he was open and honest about the job and the work required. The quote was very comparable with others and we decided to go with these guys. And we were not disappointed. Kevin was assigned the job, with Alan and they worked really well. They found a minor gas leak on our meter and sorted that with Cadent immediately and worked very hard to install and commission in one day, so that we would have hot water and heating on the first cold night of the year. Rewarded with copious tea & coffee and a bacon sandwich (why not?) as they were courteous and professional and a credit to the company. And the only mess left behind were a few small pieces of polystyrene from the packaging. No mess, no fuss, hot water and heating. completed! Thank you for such a professional standard of work.
I used A & D a year ago to replace our antiquated and quite complicated heating system. They were professional, tidy and did a great job. Last night I contacted them as the (very old) programmer on the system had developed a fault, they contacted their electrician straight away and helped me to sort it out. A&D fitted a new Baxi 800 Combi boiler and compatible shower. From the start they were knowledgeable, friendly and responsive to questions and emails. I recently had a new boiler re-positioned and commissioned by A&D plumbing. I chose this company through recommended plumbers by Worcester Bosch. Out of the 3 home surveys/quotes I received it was out of two that I felt confident with. Both showed professionalism and were very informative. I decided to select A&D Plumbing and am so pleased with my choice. The team doubled up to carry out the works in one day as opposed to two to accommodate my working days. I cannot praise the work and professionalism enough. Nothing was too much trouble for the engineers. I was informed all along the way and was not inconvenienced at all. Everything was cleared and removed by the engineers on completion. Working In the service industry myself I know the level of expectation required. This company exceeded this. Wow. That has to be A++. The quote was met and can I also add that the engineer fitted a drain valve on my radiator at no extra charge to make things easier for me in the future. What a lovely touch. We came across A&D Plumbing over five years ago when they replaced the boiler at our old house. We were so impressed with their professionalism that we used them again at the next house when we moved to completely change our heating system which had them working all over the house whilst we were still living there! They did a great job, were really tidy wherever they were in the house and finished the work more quickly than they initially thought. We have also used A&D for several smaller bits of work over the years too such as changing taps and the annual service for the boiler. We would not hesitate to recommend A&D Plumbing and would definitely use them again (in fact the next boiler service is already booked!).
Being a technical manager in the water industry I know a thing or two about plumbing systems. These chaps quoted for what was needed and not what they wanted to change. Being without hot water we appreciated their prompt availability and the work was spot on, they even hoovered up. A big thank you to Kevin and team for your hard work. The work involved removing two boilers, consolidating the system to run off one new boiler, moving the location of the boiler and water cylinder and transferring from gravity fed to direct mains system. All new pipe work was introduced with a minimum of disruption to walls and floors. The work took just over a week and was carried out efficiently, quietly and with a minimum of mess. The job took just over a week and and the result is absolutely first class.
Amazing, great service, called many plumbers on google and this company were the only ones to get back to me, 1 hour later they came and serviced my boiler, very professional, clean and tidy, Can’t fault them one bit, will be using them for now on for sure Thank you 🙏
We recently bought an LPG cooker from Curries/PC world who totally failed to install it and left us with no cooking facilities for 5 days. I contacted A&D Plumbing and explained our plight. They had an engineer round within in 24 hours and fully installed the appliance without any fuss. The job itself tuned out to be bigger than expected but this was no issue for the engineer who was excellent throughout. Whilst on our property, the engineer also serviced our boiler for us again without fuss or drama, unlike Curries/PCWorld which for them everything was a drama! My faith in the trading sector has been restored by A&D Plumbing Services after my totally shoddy experience from Curries/PC World and I would not hesitate to use A&D Plumbing again. From first to last, my dealings with them have been excellent and I would recommend them.

.We had an oil boiler, which was always problematic since installed 9 years ago. It had started to leak and not feeling that warm in the house. I searched the manufactures website and A&D came up closest. Boiler was serviced and still leaking so was investigated further. Basically the boiler was beyond economic repair. So a week later a new one was installed. Same size and model just latest version, but with all the correct filters and valves added to the install. After 2 days of work we had and heating and hot water. The house felt instantly warmer but the biggest surprise was that we could run a hot bath. The old setup never got the water hot enough in the 9 years we had it. We have since had to turn the room thermostat down as the house is getting to hot. Did what I thought was wrong with tap leaking from strout, quoted over £80 for 1st hour then added VAT so paid £102 did not solve the problem ( only slightly) when calling them back said full charge again because used my new washers. No advice given. Will not get my custom again.

Daniel presented a very detailed and fairly priced quote for a new boiler, which was fitted promptly during a week when we were unable to be in the house. They are totally trustworthy and respectful. I was filled with dread regarding the prospect of replacing the Trianco solid fuel burner with an LPG combo boiler but Dan had all the answers so I went ahead with the work. I needn't have been concerned; everything went like clockwork, the new system works perfectly and they even sorted out a few historical plumbing issues as well.
I had a number of issues with my old boiler so after discussion with A&D we decided to go for a combi boiler. As we decided to resite the boiler to a different room there was a lot of making good which was all taken care of. All the old pipework, immersion tank etc etc were removed leaving our place nice and tidy on completion Really pleased with the speed of service and quality of the work and we now have constant hot water. Would thoroughly recommend.

I had a new boiler fitted that also needed to moved to another area so involved a lot of new pipe work. I phoned them and with 1 day they visited me and provided a detailed price. They started 1 week later and did all the work extremely well resulting in a delighted customer. I then recommended my daughter who needed a new boiler who was very pleased with them and then recommended them to their friends.
We have had some urgent repairs done to our Oil Boiler by A & D Plumbing and I am amazed by the professional way they responded. Firstly in understanding the problem and then for Kevin who actually did the work so tidily and effective. We now have a lovely warm house and I would recommend them to anyone. We regularly use A&D Plumbing to service our gas boiler,. They are always on time and very pleasant to deal with. The last service was carried out quickly and efficiently and I would highly recommend them as Plumbers you can trust.
If you what to pay a lot of money for a company to turn up and take a guess at what is wrong with your boiler, these are your people. Proved their first guess wrong and they will pluck their second guess out of thin air! Want a so called engineer to test the electrode for a spark, and leave the combustion chamber open whilst he does it to allow gas to leak out, then look no further than these guys. What to have poor customer service when you complain about the service you have received, look no further. Took my money for actually doing nothing more than guessing, boiler was not fixed and their guesses were wrong!!! You have been warned! 20/06 Update. Have had another engineer out, there was no problem with the PCB, there was no problem with the gas valve, other than needing some adjustments once the boiler fired up, the problem was the gas in the bottles, the engineer said he has come across the problem before, we swapped for a fresh bottle, boiler fired up, and he made the adjustments! All for a very reasonable call out charge of £50, not the £102 I was charged by this out fit, and the hundreds of pounds they wanted to charge me for parts not needed, as they had no idea!!! Thanks for nothing.
Called requiring urgent work to my boiler due to leaking values which I found late on a Sunday night! The company booked me in for first thing the next day. Alan arrived and fixed everything efficiently, talking me through the work he was completing at each stage. He was even concerned about bringing in dirt into my hallway from outside. Fantastic service and I would most definitely use this company again.
Asked for safety certificate for my gas installation, told it was £80 for the whole thing including vat. On arrival told it was more because of vat and hob was extra (total all of a sudden £200) checked with other contractor and found this to be entirely false hob and boiler same installation, felt I was being taken for an idiot. Will never use again.

Kevin was the service engineer who came for my annual boiler service. He phoned beforehand to let me know his arrival time. He was punctual and stated exactly who he was upon arrival. Before he stepped inside be removed his shoes. He showed competence and serviced the boiler with efficiency and without asking me for the manual. He also speedily identified a small plumbing issue that I asked him about and fixed the problem before he left. Throughout Kevin was courteous and very helpful and gave verbal feedback regarding the servicing of the boiler. I hope he will do my service again next year. Thanks Kevin.
